Tolle Unterkunft, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite hosts, hatten das honeymoon Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer. Frühstück war superlecker-tolle Auswahl und alles frisch. Vielen Dank❤️

Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und unterstützend. Sie kamen uns auch bei der wetterbedingten frühen Abreise sehr entgegen.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr einfach, das Mobiliar nicht wertig. Es ist alles da, aber das Ambiente sehr einfach. Auch gibt es kein heißes Wasser.

Находится в безопасном месте, вечерами по улицам ездила охрана. Рядом длинный шикарный пляж 5-7 минут спуск пешком по ступенькам, прокат зонтиков, имеются помещения для переодевания, дежурят спасатели и предупреждают об обратном течении. На пляже внизу хороший ресторан, где можно вкусно пообедать или поужинать. Номера оснащены кондиционерами, большие, удобные кровати, отзывчивый персонал.

Номера требуют небольшого косметического ремонта.

Unfreundliches Personal. Sie wollte von uns die genau Ankunftszeit und die genau Frühstückszeit wissen und war dabei sehr fordert und unfreundlich.

Très belle maison dans un quartier chic. Située sur les hauteurs à 15 min à pied de la magnifique plage accessible via un petit sentier et des escaliers mais très escarpé ! Chambres et literie confortables. Personnel de ménage très efficace.

Nous sommes arrivées 15 min avant l heure annoncée. Le personnel de ménage nous a accueillies avec bienveillance. Par contre, la responsable nous a complètement ignorées du début à la fin du séjour. Il fallait lui arracher les infos, renseignements utiles ou un simple bonjour. Jamais, je n ai été aussi mal reçue. La maison a beau être agréable, cette attitude gâche le séjour. Difficile d'accès même en uber, il vaut mieux avoir une voiture

Beautiful quiet area & such comfortable beds

Sehr schöne geräumige Unterkunft fußläufig um atemberaubenden Brenton Beach gelegen. Issabella hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll geführt und eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Die Lage ist super. Das Zimmer schön groß. Das Frühstück außerordentlich. Es gab sogar Käse und Wurst zusätzlich zu dem englischen Frühstück. Isabella hat sich sehr gut mit uns unterhalten und uns Tipps gegeben.

Allerdings wird man früh morgens von den Vögeln im Garten geweckt. Wir hatten das Zimmer zum Garten und die Palmen hängen voll mit Vogelnestern. Es gibt keine Steckdose im Badezimmer, das ist generell in Südafrika so.

Warm welcome, great view, modern room, spacious and big, enjoyed the patio. Breakfast was exceptional. Friendly host!

What a great place with amazing views of the ocean. Brenton is very safe and has a nice beach. The house is beautiful with nice spacious rooms. I arrived a bit late due to car troubles and the manager was so kind to wait for me. Much appreciated. The breakfast she made was nice too. Recommend to stay here, you will have a peaceful time.

Our hostess kindly upgraded us to a sea facing room which was beyond beautiful! There was everything we needed and more. Thank you Isabella x

The stay was awesome. Perfect location. We were welcomed warmly by Charmaine; she showed us how things work at the place we booked.The apartment was clean and stunning views with everything to detail, it's like you're at home and it's close to the beach. Thanks, Charmaine, for accommodating us.

Schönes Guesthouse in der Nähe von Knysna! Man fühlt sich wohl, und Derrick ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber und gibt jede Menge Tipps!

The location is very close to the Brenton on Sea beach, though on the cliff. By walk 7 to 8 min down stairs. Beautiful sight of the Indian Ocean from the deck. And then the host Mr Derrick, a passionate man who makes you comfortable and gives very useful tips for Knysna, Plettenberg, George things to do. An avid photographer who is a great person to interact with. Rooms are spacious and well kept. Bfast was delicious. Strongly recommended.

Nothing which we experienced which we dint like. May be the bathrooms and the rooms need a make over to take it to the next level.

Derrick was a wonderful host and gave us many many excellent tips (sightseeing & food). Furthermore his collection of photos are super. Thank you Derrick.

Derric ist ein toller Gastgeber. Viele Insider-Tipps. Die Lage ist ist toll. Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer direkten Meerblick. Der Strand ist nicht zu übertreffen. Frühstück wird nach Wunsch zubereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Derrick was an outstanding and impressive host - the most welcoming we ever experienced. He gave us great tips on what to do while in Knysna / Brenton and arranged a lunch reservation for us. The guest house is built with a lot of love and attention to detail. It's only a 5 minute walk (downwards) away from the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

Derrick is a perfect owner and he has always something to tell. We loved this place close to Knysna and only a five minute walk to the lovely beach! The house is very nice and the breakfast delicious!

Our host, Joan, was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are large, bright, and very comfortable. Located in a hilltop community 15 to 20 minutes from Knysna. Some rooms have partial ocean views. Property needs a handyman. Shower door not functioning properly, doors and windows sticking, But overall we would stay again. Be sure to have a fancy dinner one night down the road at Pembry’s

Supermysigt ställe strax utanför knysna. Stort och rent rum. Bra frukost! Nära havet och bra service från ägaren med tips om vad man kan göra i området. Vi kommer garanterat bo på samma ställe igen om vi är i närheten!

Derrick the owner was very friendly and he made some good local suggestions but the place was in need of some repairs . The breakfast was disappointing as they ran out of meat and bread 2 days plus the omelet had no ingredients . Charges for coffee pods etc were unnecessary. The property is a long walk to the beach .

Simply one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had. Great location close to the beach. Peaceful, quiet, a good pool, nice veranda. Super breakfast, with Derrick making wonderful omelettes! Great host with excellent local knowledge.

The guest house was a wonderful surprise. Room spacious, beautifully decorated and great views and sounds of the sea. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and gave great advise about thinks to do, see and where to eat. Wish we had stayed longer, and will hopefully return in the future.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Brenton Beach House. The owner Derrick was really friendly and helpful and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation! We were given a choice of rooms on different floors and we were also able to see the honeymoon suite, which looked amazing! Our room was huge and we'll equipped and was clean and comfortable. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk and is stunning!

We had a great stay and the owner recommended a wonderful restaurant BLU very close to the unit which serves some great fish and offers the most magnificent sunset in town. The breakfast was out of this world and the owner bakes and makes most of the breakfast items he serves! The bottom bedroom is a bit humid (especially the room which has the bunk beds which has a carpet) Overall a great stay and a wonderful ambiance created by the artwork from the owners!

Comfortable accommodation, good restaurant nearby, close to the beach (beach strolls, fresh air, swim in the sea), very quiet environment, yet close to Knysna (approx. 6 km)

We booked a bedroom for 3 adults with a specific request for a seperation between the main bedroom and the 3rd bed as we (as a married couple)were accompanied by an adult friend. We were however given 2 single beds pushed next to each other and another single bed merely a meter away, which compromised our privacy for the entire weekend. The guest house and especially Derricks's hositality was great, however the weekend was rather miserable due to the fact that we had no privacy. The consultant at Hotels.com assured us that the 3rd bed was seperate to the main bedroom...

Fantastic stay in spacious rooms which are renovated. Derrick is verry kind and nothing is to much asked. He has a warm personality. In the nabourhood is an good fishrestaurant.

The host and the house keeper are super friendly and helpful. They were accommodating of our hyper active 2 year old son to a point of playing with him. Derrick is an encyclopedia of things to do in the Garden Route, he helped us with our itinerary every morning.

Great place to stay fantastic welcome &good facilities.

It was wonderful. The host is pleasant and considerate. Breakfast is a treat, he feeds cheese to a bird catching it in flight. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bathroom had a bath, shower, warming towelrack and bidet. The free wifi worked well. Quiet. Beautiful sea view. Big trees with lots of birdlife. I will go there again as soon as I can.

The guest house has some self catering facilities however the owners as extremely accommodating and can use their communal kitchen area for any needs not available in the room.

Excellent guest house. Peaceful, residential location yet 5 mins away from the beach and 10 mins drive to Knysna town centre and restaurants. Owner very friendly and hospitable. Happy to accommodate all our needs without any fuss and felt at home.

Heading back on the Garden Route towards Cape Town. We were greeted warmly by Derrick, who was able to provide us with information on both S Africa and locally. Short but relaxing visit.

What an amazing find! Randomly found on an expedia search....price was right and they would accommodate our family of 5 for 1 night. We were traveling the garden route with our 3 young children. We arrived at sunset and blown away by the views. AMAZING! Our room was huge and they accommodated more than generously for the kids (bunk bed and had pack and play already set up in the room). We awoke in the morning to a beautiful breakfast spread and again AMAZING views. We actually tried to book another night on our way back to Cape Town the following weekend but it was sold out. You can easily walk or drive down to the beach which is wonderful. Highly recommend

Staff were very pleasant. They arranged nice meal at a nearby restaurant. The room was well appointed, however the curtains did not close completely and so the morning sun prevented a sleep in. Beakfast was European style, not traditional South African. In our case other guests emptied a lot of the trays very quickly.

Spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay. Owner Derrik could not do enough and was so helpful when giving advice on attractions and restaurants to visit in the area. I would definitely return to Brenton Beach House.

Nice quiet location near the beach. Because of currents not good for swimming. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful.
