Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. A few minutes from the railway station and 1 minute from Tampere hall. The staff is very kind and willing to help. I also had breakfast and enjoyed it (both the place and the offered meal).
The air conditioning is a bit noisy.

Patja oli aivan surkea!! Niin ohut ja painunut keskeltä, ettei paljoa tullut nukuttua ☹️ kyseessä siis huone 10 ja yläkerran eka peti ovelta. Olen aiemmin aina viihtynyt teillä mutta nyt en ollut tyytyväinen. Koulutusviikonloput jatkuu edelleen ja uni on silloin tärkeintä! Täytyy miettiä uudestaan kuinka toimia jatkossa.

Huoneessa ei ollut ikkunaa ja ilmanvaihto vähän huono mutta se ei sinänsä vaikuttanut reissuun koska tarkoitus oli vaan käydä nukkumassa ja viettää aikaa muualla.

Parisänky olisi ollut vielä kivempi. Aamiaistilat aika pienet, jos sattuu ruuhka-aikaan heräämään. Huoneessa ei ollut ikkunaa, mutta joku jännä kattopleksi, josta valo jotenkin kajasti jostain.

Käytävästä ja naapurihuoneista kuului äänet huoneeseen. Huone oli pieni. Sänky ei ollut kovin hyvä.

The only thing is the amount of low level noise in the building from the extractor fans. You hear it everywhere including in your bedroom when you’re trying to sleep, which means that you don’t get the maximum amount of peace you should have.

She was so lovely and was so giving of her time and gave me lots of great recommendations. Everywhere was spotless clean . Great kitchen jad everything you need. Was able to leave luggage after checkout.
Nothing, everything was perfect. A little suggestion to put a hook in the shower for hanging clothes, towel etc.

No osahan matkailijoista ei hoida tiskejään. Toki tiskien kuivaustilaa oli vähän. Edellisen viikon majoitukseen: päivää/tervehdys/hyvät huomenet pitäisi olla hlökunnalle selvyys.

Huone oli tosi pieni. Ilmanvaihtoa ei ollut, mutta onneksi ei sattunut kuumaa päivää. Aamiaistila aika pieni, mutta toki olisiv voinut siirtyä muihin yhteisiin tiloihin halutessaan.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Yllätyin, että Åkerlundinkadun Hostelli olikin kiva. Oli ennakkoluuloja juuri sijainnin takia. Aiemmin hiljainen hiukan arvelluttava katu on tätä nykyä vireähkö, vilkaskin. Näin Tampere on positiivisesti laajentanut, antanut palvelumahdollisuuksia. Mukavan eläväinen hostelli, kivasti tarvittavat kombot löydettävissä. Matkatavarain säilytys ok.
Henkilökunta ihanan eläväinen, toki kuuluvaa keskustelua asiakas-/ruokailutiloihin. Huomasin häiritseväni tiedusteluillani.
