Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Great location with very convenient parking options, you can safely park in the SRV spots, and there is another parking lot with EV chargers just 50 meters away. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free since all PINs and key box codes were sent in advance. The 3-person room was clean and comfortable, as were the common areas (kitchen and shower). Small kitchen has a small fridge.
We had a minor issue upon arrival, the second set of bed linens and towels was missing. I found an extra pillow and duvet in the cabinet, but no covers. I messaged via the app, but the reply came after I was already asleep. However, the hostel responded exceptionally well the next day to make things right, they apologized and provided a 30% discount on the room fee. Next time I would just call for an immediate fix.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026The hostel was very clean, and our room was spacious and comfortable. We were also given a small candy as a complimentary treat, which was a sweet touch. The self-check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We came to Tampere to attend a conference at Tampere University, so the location was perfect for us — only about a 5-minute walk from the university. The bathroom was shared, but this was not an issue at all. It was very clean, and we actually shared it with only one other room (two people), which was much better than I expected.
The only minor issue was that the hot water in our bathroom was not hot enough, so we had to take a cool shower. We contacted the staff about it, and they may have fixed it afterwards, but we stayed for only two nights.

One small downside is that there is no vending machine or similar facility at the hostel.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Very helpful and friendly staff, good location not far from the centre, nice park and Tamperetalo very close. Lots of place in room to store our stuff. Kitchen to use with all pots and pans and a little balcony from there. Free parking.
There was something leaking in the bathroom, floor was wet all the time. Nothing to make the room look cozy - but well, it is a dorm and looks like one.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026It was very clean and comfortable. The door lock was a little difficult to open; someone helped me. The large shared kitchen was also easy to use. The bathroom and kitchenette were clean and easy to use, but since they are shared with the next room, the level of comfort will likely vary greatly depending on who is staying in the next room. The room was empty both nights, so it was essentially like having it all to myself. It was a good stay, thank you.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Trevliga, enkla rum med bra förvaringsmöjligheter. Läget var verkligen toppen och priset också. Att man delade ett pentry och toalett/dusch med en annan gäst var ingenting som störde då rummet var bra isolerat. Smågrejer
Man hade kunnat önska en nattlampa på väggen till den övre slafen, men utöver det tyckte vi att rummet var välplanerat och bra. Kuddarna och täcket var i syntet och lite för varma under varma sommarmånader. Kudden var även lite för hög och icke formbar.

Huoneen yhteydessä oleva keittiönurkkaus ja yhteiskeittiö plussaa varsinkin lasten kanssa matkustaessa. Yhteisyilassa myös kiva parveke missä vietettiin kesäiltaa ja pelattiin shakkia (hostellilta löytyi myös pelejä).
Kolmas sänky on mallia laivahytin yläsänky, vaikka huoneeseen mahtuisi hyvin kolme oikeaakin sänkyä.
