The shower in room 9 was a little faulty and made it difficult to shower without wetting the floor, this was solved a day before we left on the day reported.

The room has a beautiful view over a manicured garden. The breakfast was better than what we would have at any restaurant. In short, it was fantastic. The owner was on hand to ensure the guests were looked after. She was extremely helpful and friendly.

There was nothing negative about our stay.

No complimentary drinking water is provided in the rooms; instead, guests have to buy a bottle for R20. Not everyone is comfortable drinking tap water. For a 4-star hotel, complimentary bottled water should be a basic amenity. They can definitely do better.

Leuk huisje op een terrein met een prachtige tuin. Huisje zelf is niet supergroot, vooral de ruimte met het stapelbed was erg krap. Wel een heel fijn bad en lekkere bedden. Beste ontbijt dat we hebben gegeten in ZA!

Wij informeerden naar een game drive in Kruger, maar die werd erg duur aangeboden (hebben we dus niet gedaan).

Shower in bath - bathroom floor was constantly flooded due to the ineffectiveness of the "divider". Bathroom needs a good deep clean. Compared to similar establishments, the price is too high.

Amazing place and hosts. The breakfast alone is worth the stay. Our room was beautiful designed with a massive bathroom. It definitely will be our regular place when coming to Nelspruit

The view wasn't great compare toothbrush rooms but we booked the last available room for the weekend. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy due the parking lot and kitchen being close by. However this a very minor issues compare to the amazing g stay

Diiner, Pork chops over cooked, and tough. Knives were blunt.

Very spacious room with all the necessary amenities. The setting of the room was in a very beautiful garden with excellent views. Gardens are well kept and create a tranquil atmosphere. Breakfast was scrumptious and very well prepared. Very wide selection of hot breakfast options.

The property is not wheelchair accessible. There are numerous steep steps to climb as the property is situated on top of a hill. Bathroom layout not ideal.

A well managed setup. Friendly staff and good quality linen, food and products. Was able to sleep peacefully in lovely surroundings.

A bit more pressure in the shower would have been appreciated and ability to watch Netflix movies but these did not dampen my stay.

It was very central. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb.

Maybe consider mattress toppers to prolong mattress lifespan.

What a Special Place this is! What a Blessing - what a wonderful stay. Clean, calm, close to the City centre - extremly nice people, ..... you just name it - this IS extraordinary multiplied by 150.

Smooth check in. The stuff was friendly and willing to help.

The kitchen is a bit far from the rooms and you have to walk all the way to the back. When it rains it can be an issue.

At arrival, the lady at reception offered to give us a different room with a nice view. But for just one night we actually thankfully declined.

We really liked it. It is our second time at LA Roca.

Casal Barreto, gostou de tudo na La Roca, desde da recepção e tratamento, tudo foi excelente. Fiz um pedido durante o Booking, sobre o aniversário da minha esposa e o pedido foi aceite e fizeram uma linda surpresa para ela, foi muito emocionante. Lugar limpo e bom estar.

O único reparo que temos é sobre o internet e serviços da Netflix que ainda não estão disponíveis, apesar dos TVs serem Smart.

Room was good size and clean. Breakfast was very good and the hospitality of the staff very good. Will stay there again if I travel to that area. I enjoyed the private balcony very much.

Heerlijk zwembad, goed ontbijt en een ruime kamer! We hebben gebruik gemaakt van het diner en er was heerlijk voor ons gekookt. Enige jammere was wellicht dat de wijn enkel per fles ging. Maar als dat het ergste is ;)

Pleasant staff, quick service. Supper is served by arrangement, very convenient and tasty. Excellent breakfast. Lovely views, a quiet and restful place.

Duvet on the bed was quite thin, could be thicker for the winter. There is a blanket in the cupboard, so it wasn't a problem.

I’m still in awe of the hospitality we received, especially our tasty prepared breakfast for the game drive. You could truly feel that it was prepared with love and care. Thank you so much Suzette, Reinette, the Chef, Wendy, and Security 👏🙌. You all made our stay so warm, peaceful, and comfortable. Moments like these remind me exactly why I love guesthouses more than hotels, the personal touch, the genuine care, and the feeling of being welcomed like family rather than just guests. ❤️

I hate that we could only stay for two nights, hoping to come back and stay longer.

Quiet neighbourhood, easy to locate.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im La Roca Guest House. Das Personal war super freundlich und rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet – besonders toll fanden wir die private Terrasse. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker und vielfältig (Müsli, Früchte, Kuchen etc.), und man konnte zusätzlich aus einer kleinen Karte verschiedene warme Gerichte wählen. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls direkt am Guest House vorhanden.

Einziger Wermutstropfen war die Lautstärke am Wochenende; die Musik der nahen Diskothek war bis 4 Uhr morgens hörbar. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte eventuell nach einem Zimmer zur ruhigeren Seite fragen

Dinner was not served but we went nearby about 2.5km to Orange Restuarant , which was world class, top notch.

Wonderful place, staff are so friendly and accommodating! We will definitely stay again! Peaceful, quiet location.

I slept in room 10 overlooking the Game reserve. The serenity was just first class. I slept peacefully after watching sunset from the varenda.

Manoeuvring in the parking lot is an issue.

The rooms were very large, the beds nice and comfortable, and all the rooms are surrounded by a lovely garden. Breakfast was fantastic. This was our first stop after driving in from Johannesburg and it was perfect for us to visit the botanic gardens (must do!) and to enjoy a day on the panaroma route before proceeding on our trip within the Kruger National Park (only a short drive again). Great location and a great place to stay! We were blessed :-)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and service was great. The property was very clean and had a beautiful garden and pool area.

The parking was a bit tight, but there was enough spaces. Both rooms had some minor issues with water when showering - the water very hot and cold didn’t seem to work well so setting the temperature was challenging.

Les chambres (on devrait dire plutôt suites) étaient très spacieuses, décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Nos hôtes ont été adorables, trouvant toujours une solution à nos demandes. Last but not least ; je recommande le tour en une journée au Parc Kruger que propose cet hébergement.

Herzliche, zuvorkommende und präsente Gastgeberin. Sauberes, schönes Zimmer an ruhiger Lage mit Balkon. Auto kann im Innenhof parkiert werden. Tolles Frühstück. Sehr schönen Pool. Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Blyde River.
