お部屋が素敵　露天風呂付きでロケーションもいい。お料理も夕食朝食ともにとても美味しく見た目も良かった。スタッフもとても丁寧で笑顔が良かった。

せっかく佳松亭に泊まったのにバスで来たからか、素敵な表玄関を通る事なく本館から重たい荷物を自分で運んだ事が残念 車で来た人だけ素敵な表玄関から入るのはちょっと！バスで来た人はせめて車で荷物と一緒に人も運んでほしいです！来年の5月に佳松亭にまた泊まる予定ですのでよろしくお願いします。

La struttura è moderna ma allo stesso tempo ha un'aura antica, il personale è di una gentilezza incredibile, tutto è maniacalmente pulito e curato . Il paesaggio visto dalle enormi vetrate è incantevole, la cena e la colazione sono superbe, l'onsen privato con vista su fiume e montagna, incredibile ed è bellissimo vagare per il parco alla scoperta del fiume e del bosco. Consigliatissimo per prendere fiato e allontanarsi un attimo dalla frenesia della città.

Everything was excellent, from the moment I arrived until the moment I left- I felt incredibly taken care of. With so much attention to detail and joy. The staff was warm, personable, and precise. The amenities were incredibly nice and clean and my room was a cocoon. This is a hotel I would return to year after year.

Excellent service and accommodations. The staff were very helpful and had no issues with communications in English. I love the refreshments and snacks provided free of charge. Honestly, everything was wonderful.

Absolutely nothing was to our dislike. There wasn't an ice machine you can access, but you can ask the staff. Do note that there are no immediate nearby shops or stores, but we knew that going in and had no issues with everything they provided.

The curtains didn't cover the entire window so the room wasn't as dark as I would have expected for this price of the room. Most hotels in this price range offer completely dark bedrooms.

Beautiful luxury ryokan we ever stayed in Japan. Open air onsen was fantastic with snowfall, a beautiful huge room with 2 toilets and a large seperate shower were great. Ryokan provided the room with plenty of snacks and drinks and all the amenities available in the room. Great staffs all throughout the ryokan and the hall way was just amazing with long glass panels on one side, it’s so pretty even though it’s very modern it fits in with the ryokan. Breakfast and dinner served in a private room with kaiseki for dinner and nice Japanese breakfast were tasty. Must stay for the best luxury Japanese ryokan experience.

Te cuidan súper pero súper bien y te hacen sentir como un cliente muy importante. Lo recomiendo 110%. Muy bonito, muy cómodo, muy especial. Mucha atención a los detalles, el trato es perfecto y piensan en como hacerte sentir bien. Las vistas, el onsen, el entorno, todo muy bello. Me encantaría volver.

Hospitality, thoughtful transportation arrangements and supply of things needed, elegant inside decor, beautiful outside environment, excellent hot spring experience (both the private and public), very nice, spacious dining facility, food was decent and the beef steak was the best ever, all things considered our stay here could very well be the most satisfying in our lodging experience

It is typical hosting experience. All you can drink and special quality you can feel.

This time the guests were perhaps bit younger and bit noisy. Can do a bit better job in food and drinks if it aims the best in Japan I was escorted by a foreigner staff who could not tell the diff of snake and shrimp in Japanese when explaining the food. I mean we are Japanese and wanted to be served Japanese way otherwise just totally switch to English or Chinese if you like because I speak both… Very awkward trying to cheer the staff when I came here to chill. I mean at the end I switched to Chinese so she could understand Foreigner guests need to really learn about how to use hot spring. They wore accessories (can be totally ruined due to the water ingredients) also the person did not wash before soaking in bath tub eeew

I was immediately captivated by the overall environment, and the impeccable cleanliness left a lasting impression. The quality of the hot springs greatly enhanced this trip, making it even more enjoyable. From dinner to lunch, every detail was filled with delightful surprises. I especially loved the evening happy hour in the hallway. The only small wish I had was for an alternative selection of red wine. This is truly an unforgettable hotel.

We liked everything about Bettei Senjyuan!! It was simply stunning. You can check in from 1pm and we would highly recommend you do. The property was aesthetically beautiful and the luxury touches made this fairly expensive stay completely value for money. The onsen - private and public - were amazing. And the food was a feast in every way.

Disappointing Experience at Bettei Seniyuen – Leech Bite Incident Ignored I recently stayed at Bettei Seniyuen on September 12, 2024 (Booking #6088430274, Room #105), and my experience was very disappointing. I was bitten by a leech in my room, resulting in significant bleeding. I contacted the reception for help, and the response I received was shockingly unprofessional and dismissive. The staff member merely handed me a bandage without showing any concern or offering an apology. This incident not only caused me physical discomfort but also prevented me from enjoying the onsen spa, which was a key reason for choosing this hotel. To make matters worse, despite my attempts to reach out to the hotel management for a resolution, I received no response or follow-up. I expected much better from a hotel of this caliber. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their handling of such situations in the future. If you're considering staying here, be aware of the lack of proper response to guest issues.

Off the beaten track, but just an hour and a half outside of Tokyo. Less crowded than more popular onsen resorts like Hakone so you get better value and still get a unique Japanese ryokan experience with exceptional service.

This is by far one of the best ryokan in Japan because of its exceptional service. Everything is so perfect here!

設備がよく、楽しい旅行になりました。

We're so glad we decided to stay here -- we absolutely loved the food, the staff, and all of the little details of our room. We were pretty frazzled after 4 days in Tokyo, but we emerged from Bettei Senjyuan completely relaxed and ready for the next leg of our journey.

we have a quiet stay, good rest, Hotel is well equiped with nice indoor and out door onzen facilities. The view of the mountain with snow was impressive.

the food is not as delicious as expected, the presentation were very good but the taste , to us , are a bit bland.

食事について、私の胃の不調を考慮していただき、負担のない素晴らしい内容だった。既に、何度も訪問したが、今回も快適に過ごすことができました。食事は、大変研究されて良くなったと感じましたよ

都会の喧騒を離れてという言葉がピッタリ当てはまる宿でした。まあ日曜日泊ということもありましたが2.3組のお客とおいしいコーヒーが頂ける読書ルームで会うことはありましたが各部屋に露天風呂もあるので大浴場ではほとんどお客と会うことはありませんでした。おいしいお食事も個室で頂けるのでお客と会うことはありませんでした。 また豊かな自然を満喫したい方には大変素晴らしい宿です。 私としては春夏秋冬季節を変えて来たみたい宿となりました。

I liked the property with private outdoor onset and the room was so pretty and comfortable.

But the food made me very disappointed. This hotel charged almost us$700- I could not believed they only gave three pieces of beef and two pieces salsimi plus two small pieces of salmon sushi, others are vegetables for dinner. No any seafood was provided, no any special sauce provided for food. Compared to the one I stayed not far from this hotel, the price was just half of this one, the food was so delicious and a lot of food including different kinds of seafood. I hope they can improve and make us think worth the money we pay.

三度目の利用でしたが私が過去にリクエスト内容が全て残っており心地よく滞在出来ました。 なんと言ってもスタッフ様の対応！言葉使いは名の有る温泉旅館に泊まっていますが仙寿庵さんが一番だと思います。

This was a very good experience all around. A bit remote from the tourist cities of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, but a hotel pick up from the local JR line was really useful. The hotel was very picturesque, but the highlight was the individual onsens within each room. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but a special shout out to Wakana took the famous Japanese hospitality to a whole new level. 10/10!

The meals were superb, and a great way for discover specialised and traditional Japanese cuisine. The staff were plentiful and very attentive. Wakana Saito who served our meals and assisted us throughout our stay spoke excellent English, and was a genuinely warm and friendly lady. The room and attached spa bath on the balcony was first class.

仙寿庵は、宿泊すること自体を旅行の最大の目的となる特別なお宿で、スタッフみなさまの「おもてなし」、美味しいお料理、ゆっくり浸かれるお風呂、隠れ家的な図書室、いつ行っても、どんな季節に訪れても、心から満足出来る極上のお宿です。 大人の温泉旅館としてとてもお勧めです。

友人の紹介で予約しました とにかくホスピタリティが最高 お庭にある読書室も落ち着けて、温泉も楽しめて、もう一泊したいくらいでした また行きます

Wow! This was my absolute favorite stay in Japan and way better than staying at a 5-star restaurant in the heart of Tokyo. Service was amazing and kind. We will never forget the kindness and treatment we received at this place. The onsen experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Japan for the first time, especially a private onsen in your room. The breakfast and dinner served was amazing and I cannot wait to come back here again.

Nothing - The only annoying thing was there was no information regarding getting to the hotel from the train station. We did not organise a pickup, luckily the staff at the train station organised a pick up for us and we waited about 10 minutes for staff at the hotel to pick us up on the bus. Also, another negative was at the end, once we checked out we still needed to wait over an hour for the bus to take us back to the hotel. This is as the told us the bus would come at a certain time but it didn't and we needed to wait.

Very beautiful accommodations- first time staying at a ryokan with a very young child and they were very accommodating! The location was gorgeous, the private and public baths were beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to visit again.

Staff make you feel like royalty. Remarkable views and experience. Facilities around the hotel and food was excellent and numerous. Public bath was large. There was a lot of complimentary food and drink provided even when we were checking out. Staff were incredibly helpful in booking us transport and understood English very well for that area of Japan. Staff were also very kind, gave us a discounted price on some alcohol and the chef gave us some complimentary joshu wagyu sushi. Private onsen in room was amazing. You can choose how soft/hard you like your Pillows and mattress. Overall it was by far the best ryokan/hotel experience I've had.

Ipad provided to request things from staff was only available in Japanese which was understandable but slightly inconvenient. Photos of the private onsen exaggerate it's size significantly.

7 course dinner and a choice of western or japanese breakfast. Each meal is an exceptional culinary experience. Simply fantastic. The place is well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best stay I have had.

Nothing bad about Senjyuan, this place is perfect and suitable for family stay. We stayed for 2 nights and decided to extend 1 more night because it was too good.

The hotel is modern Japanese. It is really spacious with the atmosphere of luxury. Also, it is along side of Tanigawa river which has a nice view and water flow sound.

I think the food is already good but it can be better to make this hotel 5 stars.

設備がよくサービスもよく料理も美味しい。 スタッフの気遣いや人柄も素晴らしいと思いますが、隙のないサービスではなく、どこかほっとする居心地の良い空間でした。

建物、温泉、大変良かった。　従業員の対応も素晴らしかった。　ただ一つ、大変残念だったのは食事でした。旅行の楽しみの半分は夕食。　ミシェランでも評価されているくらいなので、さぞや夕食はいいだろうと期待していました。　京都懐石のような料理らしいのですが、盛り付け、味は三流でした。　期待していたのが裏切られたようでがっかりです。　ここの料理長は本当に味音痴ではと感じるくらい不味かったです。　盛り付けも三流で。　温泉や建物は95点ですが、料理は40点でお金を返して貰いたいくらいです。本当に失望しました。 これがメインかどうか分かりませんが、薄っぺらく透き通るような牛肉が２枚と増量の意味か大振りのレタス、スーパーで買ってきたようなキノコ少々。　味？最低でした。

コロナ禍、群馬は解除されたものの、自粛ムードは変わりません。妻の誕生日と結婚30周年で、また宿泊したい旅館ナンバー1の別邸　仙寿庵にお世話になりました。施設内を満喫し、諏訪峡をお散歩してマイナスイオンを吸収しました。お食事もおもてなしも間違いないです。ありがとうございました。
