Great view and friendly staff
Very expensive, no comfy bed ! Outdated rooms. Not worth the price. And isolated location far from anything.
Τοποθεσία θεά άνεση
Mostly everything with th the exception of 1 person at the front desk.
The hidden fees!
Everything! Exclusivity and old world charm. Access to uncrowded , beautiful coastline. Upgrade to an amazing suite! Very fortunate to have stayed there!
Sometimes waiting staff a little guarded!
The only nice thing about the property is its natural location. And this is more attributable to nature rather than human intervention.
The property is a kind of abandoned 3 to 4 at the most star hotel. It needs be seriously remodelled and upgraded if they want to charge those prices.
Wspaniała lokalizacja, świetna recepcja, znakomita plaża. Doskonała restauracja przy plaży. Szkoda ,że serwuje tylko lunch. Powinna serwować także kolacje.
Trawnik przed moim bungalow bez nawodnienia. Sucha trawa. Ale widok zapierający dech w piersiach
Dört dörtlük bir konaklama Oteli hizmet çok güzel Her şeyiyle memnun kaldım teşekkür ediyorum
Excellent facilities, spacious rooms, and a fantastic breakfast
The service at the Grand Beach was disappointing. We waited over 20 minutes for towels, and since they never arrived, we decided to leave.
the service was a little bad in the breakfast very slowly the breakfast could be better for a 5 star hotel
Since I stayed in a beachfront villa, I had direct access to the sea right from in front of my room, which was a wonderful experience. The sea was beautiful and crystal clear. However, the hotel’s private beach was quite small, so I preferred swimming directly from the villa area instead. The room service was excellent—both efficient and very fast throughout our stay.
Hmmmmm.... This is a supposedly 5 star hotel with prices to match with some definite Pros and some Cons. On the positive side the staff are lovely and extremely helpful as you find in most places in Greece. The facilities are decent and the food too. On the less good side the fabric of the hotel is extremely dated and even though it was apparently refitted and reopened in 2001 it looks and feels like a hotel built in the 80s. The rooms and décor across the hotel are very old fashioned and in need of a serious refresh. Like everything in Greece and Turkey these days the prices have gone nuts so considering the price you pay the condition of the hotel is disappointing. I'd like to give it a higher rating because of the warmth of the staff but the state of the hotel let's it down unfortunately.
Disappointed, we are in a bungalow by the sea. Had we been here 30 years ago it would be the height of sophistication, the rest of the resort is beautiful, however, our room is very tired, in desperate need of a refit. In room 403.
Everything
Nothing at all it was perfect
We were on a Greek Cruise and closed it out with a relaxing stay at the Grand Resort Lagonissi. Marvelous❣️❣️
Location Proximity to sea Views Beach
The beach where the beachfront bungalows are is bad. The sea and worst of all the wind.
Lovely time enjoyed at this five star classic resort on the Athenian riviera - large expanse of hotel property skirting a beautiful coastal area providing direct access to a private beach as well as a wide man-made pebble beach area; variety of restaurants and super comfortable bedroom plus a very pleasant breakfast experience. All topped up with exceptionally friendly and smiley service; this is a large hotel resort experience with a warm soul - well done for providing a memorable stay!
Grand Resort Lagonisi is local luxury at its finest. The waterfront bungalows offer stunning direct views of the Aegean Sea—the sunsets from the west-facing side are absolutely breathtaking. The property is private, pristine, and incredibly beautiful. Top-notch service, excellent dining, and crystal-clear private beaches. An exceptional experience from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Πεπαλαιωμένες εγκαταστάσεις, βρώμικος κλιματισμός
The location is beautiful, the bay is stunning, and the water and beach are excellent. The surrounding and landscaping are also very beautiful and well maintained.
The beachfront bungalows we stayed in are quite old and in need of renovation. There was rust on the bathroom floor, some of the lights were not working, several electrical switches did not function properly, and parts of the countertop were damaged. The service was extremely slow. At the beach, it took nearly an hour to receive a bottle of water. While the food in the restaurants was generally tasty, the waiting time was excessively long in most of them. The only exception was the Japanese restaurant, where the service was much faster. The staff were very friendly and polite, but the overall level of service was average and certainly not what we would expect from a five-star hotel or from a property charging such high nightly rates.
Staff were very polite and service minded. A nice touch was a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival along with fruit and water. Water was replenished twice daily along with housekeeping. Did have to request coffee pods but that too was replenished when asked for. Steam shower was cool and the massage bath was a nice addition to the room. There was bathsalts available and a decent array of toiletries. The location of the hotel is beautiful.
Decor definitely need updating. I was upgraded to a room I had avoided when booking, in this room there was a threadmill and other gym equipment. I didn´t really want that in my room but instead had wanted direct access to the beach. Nevertheless, the threadmill being there I decided to take a run and then the thing didn´t work! Calling the reception this was clearly something they knew already so had upgraded me within the same room category to a room where the "upgrade" didn´t work. I ended up using the hotel gym which was okay. The Spa doesn´t rally qualify as a "Spa" in my book, more as a beauty salon. The quality of food in the two restaurants I visited was not great. I visited the Ouzi and Captains House. Beautiful settings and very friendly staff but the food was just meh. Shame for the price. Wine list was also not very impressive and just fine rather than spectacular.
Location and facilities are great.
The breakfast is very poor compared to the fancy rooms and the restaurants food. I learned at checkout that the rooms cannot be booked without breakfast. It was kind of a forced fee against a poor service.
If you want switch off and only hear the sea at the same time enjoy amazing views and good food this is the place. Staff are outstanding in this resort one of the reasons why i would go back..
secluded beaches with lots of privacy options. You have the option to park your car across the beach by the bungalow.
The lobby terrace needs a renovation
I am extremely disappointed by the experience I had in this hotel, which deviates from the criteria that characterize a leading hotel. I was offered and promised an upgrade upon booking, which turned out to be bad publicity because the room was on a beach full of stones and out of place. I therefore protested, but rather than give me the room on the central sandy beach, they relocated me to another wing where I was practically alone, except for one or two other guests. The Italian restaurant charges 24 euros for a plate of cherry tomatoes and 28 euros for a pasta dish... the kindness of the staff is not good enough, a mass... regulate yourselves!!

Great service. Beautiful place. Very large and beautifully kept grounds
Everything was good. Just before booking, make sure you are clear what room you are getting. There are many options and types of rooms and balconies.

Amazing place and location Amazing staff
My friend and I stayed at this lovely resort for three nights on an b&b basis in the beautiful sunset suite with private pool. The resort is quite spread out on a beautiful peninsula and set on beautiful grounds with well kept gardens and surroundings. The beach is small but very pretty, the sea water very clear. There is a sport centre there and a lovely restaurant which serves very nice local dishes and drinks. Plenty of sun-beds either side of the restaurant. In May not all restaurants are open and we only tried the Italian one ( Il Capitano) which is set on a beautiful spot and has a great terrace. The restaurants are quite pricey ( a glass of wine €15) and this one was in the same league but the food was very tasty and the service very attentive. The breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, Greek yogurts, ham and cheeses and hot food station. You were able to order also hot dishes. I would have liked to see granola amongst the choices and fresh Greek yogurts served in china dishes. The room was very beautiful with a great pool overlooking the sunset ( wanderful views) but was missing a full mirror and a kettle with selection of teas. Every 5 star hotel I have been to or even a 4 star offers this. Therefore I was surprised to discover that they could deliver a kettle but they would charge for the teas. Also we had to request an iron and ironing board which they said they don’t normally offer! All in all a nice resort set in beautiful position only 45 m from Athens and 20 m from the airport. I would recommend having a car so that you can explore the surrounding areas.
Just returned from one week’s stay at the hotel, and have only good things to say. It was amazing! The customer service, across all sectors of the hotel, was exemplary. Too many names to remember, but on Reception/Guest Relations - Panus, Katarina, Gelly. Eli in the Spa. I had a lovely upper back and head massage. Aphrodite restaurant for breakfast. The choice of food and drink for breakfast was outstanding, and well presented and good quality. We ate lunch most days in the Mediterranean seafront restaurant. Again, the staff and food was faultless. We stayed in one of the Mediterranean Seaview rooms. What a view! All in all, a perfect stay. 6* 😀
Pokoje - mega.

Rooms need some maintenance / modernisation for the money you pay
location and room rest all was waste
I was not informed that i had to pay 100 euro when a couple visited me for two hours
I was visiting on a business trip and had some free time, so I approached the Guest Relations department to inquire about booking some activities — specifically a boat excursion. The first staff member I interacted with, a woman with red hair, seemed confused and unprepared to assist. The interaction quickly became uncomfortable, as she not only failed to provide the information I needed but also raised her voice and made it seem as though the confusion was my fault. Hoping for a better experience, I returned a few days later to speak with the department manager — I believe her name was Kelly or Gelly. Unfortunately, the interaction was again disappointing. She came across as passive-aggressive, unwelcoming, and lacking basic courtesy. As a guest at a property that’s part of The Leading Hotels of the World, I expect a higher standard of professionalism and hospitality. Unfortunately, the Guest Relations department left a very poor impression this time and had a negative impact on my overall experience.
Resort area was nice, rooms comfortable, nice size and very private with own pool.
Staying late in the season most of the facilities were closed, which was not clear when booking. Limited number of restaurants were open, shops and activities (e.g. water sports) were closed so very little to do in the resort itself which is quite isolated. Gym is quite basic and not up to modern standards, same for in-room tech.
Had a wonderful time. 5 stars resort. Staff were amazing. I recommend it for family getaway to bond with the kids. We’re planning on going back in 2026.
so close in Athens but literally on the sea. you can spend your weekend without moving for there are a lot of things you can do in the resort.
I spent 2 nights at Grand Hotel Lagonissi on a business trip and I would give it not 10 out of 10 but 11 out of 10 . An amazing property with excellent food and plenty of restaurants within the complex. I literally could not stop eating. Kohylia Japanese Restaurant was one of the best experiences in my life. I booked a Sunset Villa with a private pool room and I literally did not want to leave the hotel. I also visited the other room types , every single one is spacious with beautiful views. This is truly a proper 5-star luxury hotel. Athens city centre is about 1 hour by car. The beach is super clean and quiet. The staff are constantly available for any assistance you could imagine. I really enjoyed my stay and I’m already looking forward to going back. Truly recommend it to everyone, couples, families, adults only, business occasions.
Gorgeous location with nice accommodations, a variety of amenities including a fabulous breakfast buffet and beautiful landscaping to boot! The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend.
Amazing place. The staff is great always good mood. we love it! we will definitely come back. breakfast was great. the sea is amazing can’t recommend enough
Grand Resort Lagonisi in Greece is a true gem by the sea. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel at home. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and offered breathtaking views of the Aegean. The beach was just steps away, with crystal-clear water and comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast each morning was fresh and plentiful, featuring local flavors and delicious coffee. The location is perfect for both relaxation and exploring nearby villages. Overall, Hotel Lagonisi combines comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality — a place we will definitely return to and recommend to friends.
Excellent resort facilities, and most importantly, unparalleled service by dedicated and friendly personnel. Cleanliness, and taking care of the beaches
Beautiful resort with peaceful surroundings. The room far exceeded my expectations and the quick and easy access to the beach (steps away from my room) was great. Staff were attentive and kind.
The area and the property is lovely, it’s nice to have restaurants on the resort and it was very peaceful
The value vs. what you pay is not aligned. The facilities and amenities are very dated and the service you get isn’t in line with 5 star standards. There isn’t a live station at breakfast, you have to ask and wait for toast, the plugs don’t match the current adapters because they’re so old and they charge you €7 for borrowing an adapter, they don’t provide amenities such as razors like you would expect at a 5*. Some of the staff are lovely, others answer the phone by saying “yes” as if you are causing them a grievance. I got married the day before I stayed at the hotel and there was no acknowledgement of this despite them knowing - whereas the Vincci which is a 4* wrote us a note and gave us a bottle of wine in congratulations.
Fantastic location. Privacy, friendly staff. Highly recommended for a unique and relaxing retreat in the most beautiful part of the Athens riviera.
Great rooms, great restaurants and amazing staff
What a gem. Great service throughout. Lovely breakfast. Nice main pool. Really good private beaches. Good rooms. Wonderful restaurants - really high quality food. Definitely keen to go back
Grand resort Lagonissi is a wonderful place to go with friends and family. There’s everything there that you might need. Pools, parking, church, restaurants and many more. The sunset is speechless… The prices are surely high but you won’t regret going there at all!
Beach
Some of the technology in the room needs renovation but it was fine
Beautiful location, superb restaurants, good facilities
Nothing
Good location
Poor state of rooms, telephone not working beds uncomfortable
The perfect seaside escape from Athens for a long weekend
Being on sea with good beaches and yet fairly close to Athens. The facilities. The breakfast buffet.
Architectural eyesore on the abandoned spa building and odd fake pools above it.
Immaculate and beautiful grounds, excellent facilities, spotless and spacious rooms, out of this world views. The service was outstanding, from the people who immediately took care of our beach chairs and provided us with beach towels to waiters who took our orders and brought us delicious Greek salads and club sandwiches right on the beach Having dinner at the Ouzeri Aegean every year during our last night has been nothing less than magical. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding, the music sweet, and the night moon made it all perfect. This is our third year visiting the Grand Resort with family. Thank you, for allowing us to introduce Greece to our children in such a beautiful environment.
Lagonissi is an amazing complex. The main beach has lovely sea and it’s almost never crowded. It is the whole peninsula so when you walk around you have the best view. You can train with the best view. You can take a dip from anywhere you like, not only the main beach. There is wild sea around the complex to be enjoyed. The taverna by the sea side and Ouzeri restaurant both are very good. Staff is positive and helpful.
We had an unpleasant situation about the room but Katerina helped us a lot and sorted the issue immediately by making us and our friends very happy. Breakfast buffet could be better (the coffee is super good). I cannot find anything else. Us and our friends are already planning our next stay here. It’s a place to visit every year.
Initially, we had some issues with our private pool suite, but the staff at the resort worked hard, not just to resolve these issues, but the entire team went above and beyond to make sure that the rest of our stay was perfect. The main coordinator for our customer service was Despina, whom I'd like to mention by name because she was truly wonderful -extremely helpful and quick at managing everything we needed and made us feel like she truly cared about providing a relaxing and pleasant experience.
We Stayed 11 nights and paid around 12.000 euros. Beautiful hotel and beaches with amazing personal. Super place with amazing kind male manager. He is the best. However after spending 12k in a hotel I asked if we could check out 2pm and the amazing manager promised at 1pm however the front desk personal started to call us early at 8am to wake us up ( on the day of the check out) and also very angry male from reception ( not the manager) called and said you must be out at 1pm!!!! I said we need 15min, but he yelled no the bell boy will be there at 1pm!! Such a behavior is not a 5 start ever. The way you check out a client is as imposter as how you check them in!! That left a very bad taste. There should never be an issue to give a late check out until 2pm. -Also note we had issues to get water in the room unless I left a tip 10-20e daily ( which I did daily ) but a few days I had no cash and housekeepers punished us immediately leaving us without water. This is very bad behavior at 5 star hotel. Also do not complain about them if they start to ring a door bell at 8am to punish you (even you got a do not disturb sign at the door).
So Disappointed. The "view" photos lured us in and we chose this Hotel over Astir Palace in Vougliameni. I am currently in my bed at Grand Resort and would happily leave if I had not opted for the pre paid rate. I took many photos to show our space's condition. Staff is wonderful , hotel itself is a dump. The view itself is correctly represented on the website, and is beautiful. The pretty expensive Sunset Suite room is dated and poorly maintained although generally clean. The grounds are sloppy and unkempt, none of which are acceptable at these rates. I am currently in my second night in a $2000 per night suite with an unresolved issue of NO LIGHTS in my suite's private pool (2nd night with several requests to repair). I wish this was the only issue. Although clean, the bathroom outlet will not work with my International converter, so I cannot use my hair appliances to get ready for my daughter's wedding. I came back to the hotel this afternoon to find the sliding door that I locked when leaving WIDE OPEN!!! The steam shower does not work, but if it did, the door of the shower has been replaced, but not "sealed" on either side, so the steam would leak out. There are holes in the blackout shade to the interior room that let weird dots of sunlight in. Towel service is not generous and I had to request more than two washcloths. The outside deck was dirty. Private pool was cloudy the first day and cleared to a clear greenish color by the next afternoon. Positive is that the water was nice and cool. Junky umbrella tops have been left on the private beach section in front of our private pool sunset suite in spite of requests to remove them. I tried to move them myself, but they are too heavy. Not all of the lights coming down the stairs to our suite work, creating a safety hazard. Dirty interior switches, and many more issues, some of which you can see in my photographs. Our first night consisted of us making phone calls and answering calls from the front desk to the extent that we could not sit, relax and enjoy our outdoor space. Again, the staff is kind, but the room condition and grounds make it worth a fraction of what I was charged and I would leave immediately if not for the pre paid rate.
A stunning resort and impeccable grounds, but terrible service. Our beachfront “Residential” cabana is absolutely stunning. The resort is on a private peninsula and our cabana has beautiful furnishings and a gorgeous private infinity pool looking out a pristine private beach. Absolutely 100% on setting, ambience, and amenities. Unfortunately, our service experience has been terrible. Upon arrival, my husband booked an 8:30 a.m. tennis session with a pro. He got rackets at the front desk at 8am and was told the Pro would meet him at the court. He got to the court at 8:15 and waited until 9am and the tennis pro never showed up. We let the front desk know when we returned the rackets and they eventually followed up with us to let us know that the tennis session had been scheduled for 11:30pm. That is absolutely ridiculous…nobody wants to play tennis on vacation at 11:30 PM at night. We also had terrible service at breakfast. Our kids enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but all we wanted to order was tea & coffee. We waited and waited for a server and finally stood up and asked the server assigned to the deck…and were told “just a minute”. We continued to wait almost 20 minutes before another server finally appeared to order from. Next, we headed to the beach side pool at which we were told we had to pay €5 for pool towels. We have never stayed at a hotel or resort where one has pay for pool towels. Beautiful location, but abismal service. At this price point, excellent service is a must.
Nice beach area. Helpful staff.
Very tranquil, the property was stunning and very peaceful. It gave us exactly what we were looking for relaxing while appreciating the beauty around us.
The best staff ever!
The hotel shows its age, it needs some renovation.
If you are looking for a weekend retreat in the vicinity of Athens this is a great option . Spotless service and amazing food offering with live entertainment on all venues .
Great Villa. All comfort, gym included in the bedroom 🔝. Big toilet with comfy amenities robes & slippers. Great beds (pillows could be better). Attentive cleaning and services. Buggies always on demand. Very good food offer at breakfast and lunch with some good options for non-meat lovers. Beach right in front of the bedroom with a stunning view to the ocean and full of privacy. (Mine a bit rocky but just few steps aside and you could swim at your own pace). A sandy beach on the other side at a buggy distance. Just couldn’t walk because it was a terribly warm weather week. A romantic place that gives you “a wish I could come back soon” feeling.
Everything was superb, from the food to the ocean side restaurant and gym to the swimming pool and all the service was exceptional.
