TH Corvara - Greif Hotel

La struttura è molto bella e la camera fornita era moderna e molto grande, pulita e silenziosa. La colazione è speciale e la parte di SPA tenuta bene. Ho avuto un problema con il checkout e la direttrice è stata molto disponibile e gentile, il problema è stato risolto in pochissimo tempo. Per chi viaggia con un cane è consigliato, il prezzo richiesto a notte non è poco ma vengono fornite ciotole e una cuccia

Consiglierei di aggiungere una piscina nella parte SPA

Struttura eccezionale ma ciò che ha reso eccezionale il tutto è stato il personale: sempre gentile e disponibile, affabile e simpatico.

Prima utvalsbasis om te fietsen, deze konden veilig worden gestald. Personeel was erg attent op eigenaren en fietsen, dus geen verrassingen. Ontbijt was top, voor diner moet je ergens anders zijn, maar dat gaat prima. Genoeg opties op loopafstand. Zwembad was ok.

Er viel niks tegen. Wel een ietwat basic onderkomen zonder franje. Er was niks stuk en de bedden waren prima.

The location, staff, facilities and food were amazing. Our room had unbelievable views!

Later Pool access (after a long day out and about) would be nice.

La posizione molto tranquilla e la camera molto comoda e attrezzata

Il parcheggio selvaggio senza stalli segnalati , ognuno si arrangia alla meno peggio; La sala grande per la ristorazione ha più l'aspetto di una sala mensa che di una sala a 4 stelle, tanto rumore ( siamo abituati a dormire in rifugi, quelli veri, e a viaggiare in condizioni difficili, ma se paghiamo per un 4 stelle non ci possono essere dubbi sui servizi) , il personale fa davvero del suo meglio per essere presente ma servirebbe una regia che coordinasse il tutto. Il centro benessere ben organizzato ma non si possono fare pagare gli asciugamani dal secondo giorno.

Middagen i restaurangen var mycket rörig. Personalen hade inte koll på dryckesbeställningar. Beställning av rätter för primi och sekondi tog väldigt lång tid och fel rätter kom in.

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo scelto questa struttura per trascorrere la settimana bianca in compagnia di una coppia di amici. È stata un'esperienza decisamente memorabile! Ciò che ci è piaciuto: - Pasti | nel corso delle varie esperienze, tra Arabba (×2), Folgarida, Cervinia, Madonna di Campiglio, non ci era mai capitata una qualità media dei vari piatti così alta. Tanta cura e tantissima varietà. Ogni sera c'erano 2 primi e 2 secondi tra cui scegliere ed in più un buffet organizzato per aree tematiche (orto, prodotti locali, cucine dal mondo) con personale che preparava molte cose al momento. La stessa cosa succedeva a colazione, dove si trovavano alcuni elementi fissi della proposta culinaria ma con novità che cambiavano ogni giorno. Davvero molto vario e molto buono - Servizio navetta | molti hotel lo offrono, ma in questo caso c'erano 2 o 3 furgoni in base alla fascia oraria continuamente in servizio (8:30-11 e 14:30-18). In più c'erano anche corse "a chiamata" fuori orario (12, 13 e 13:45). Davvero ottimo e con autisti gentili e disponibili - Staff | sono stati tutti carinissimi. Durante questo soggiorno c'è stata una proposta di matrimonio e ci hanno tenuto a mettersi a disposizione e farci delle piccole carinerie per rendere questo momento davvero indimenticabile. In più ci sono venuti incontro su delle piccole problematiche con il nostro cucciolo - Possibilità di portare animali | con un supplemento di 20€/giorno è possibile usufruire di ciotole e cuccia (ad onore del vero, un po' piccola anche per un cucciolo di 7kg). Il fatto che accettino animali (di piccola taglia) è sicuramente un valore aggiunto, ma...

... Qui veniamo all'unica nota dolente: gli animali non sono ammessi in nessuna delle aree comuni. Questa cosa andava almeno specificata in fase di prenotazione perché li relega praticamente full time in stanza da soli. A meno che il vostro sia un soggiorno estivo in cui prevedete molte passeggiate/trekking e/o il vostro cane sia abituato a vivere in completa solitudine tutto il giorno, personalmente sconsiglio di portarlo insieme.

Il servizio cena a buffet troppo caro in base all offerta se viene acquistato singolarmente..conviene acqiistare direttamente la mezza pensione al momento della prenotazione , i cuscini delle camere potrebbero essere sostituti .

Faultless- loved our stay at the Grief from the moment we arrived. Huge room with massive comfy bed, bath, shower, balcony, fridge, loads of room. Spotless and cleaned daily. Amazing spa and pool, with outside spa pool - great looking up at the piste at dusk. Massages available, as well as full spa menu. The food was out of this world- with ample (read too much) choices for dinner and breakfast. The patisserie chef was a star- the pistachio cake was the best cake I’ve ever tasted. Staff were attentive and friendly- big shout out to Paula, our waitress. Bar area with snacks and huge selection of wine. Ski equipment storage was perfect with regular and quick (a few minutes) shuttle to the ski lifts. Absolutely perfect. No idea why there are any poor reviews

Friendly hotel. We had a lovely, large and peaceful room with a great view. Housekeeping was fantastic and rooms were spotless. Beautiful indoor pool with a nice outdoor area too. Shuttle bus to lifts was very efficient even at peak times. Hotel staff are helpful.

The hotel possibly has one of the best swimming pool and spa facilities. The swimming pool itself is reasonably large, but the most impressive part is the number of hight pressure points or jacuzzi like part of the pool and the absolutely amazing large separate jacuzzi which has the outside part too. The water temperature in all of 3 parts is simply perfect. The spa facilities are also lovely including their wonderful relax space. The rooms are decent size too and the views from balconies is amazing The food in the evening nice too with loads of different dishes. I found buffet dishes much nicer than those to order. Everywhere is super clean Their ski shuttle bus runs very frequent

Breakfast is simply too basic for a 4* hotel It is too large hotel for my taste They insist they you have 2 sets of towels, one for the pool and one for the spa. Which is fine What is not fine is that you only get one set for free. If you want a clean towel later on during your stay you have to pay 4€/each towel change. But for me personally the most disappointing was that they were serving drinks to people leaving the pool with just the towel around their waist. Even on a 40C in summer if you are to have a drink at the outside cafe you would to be dressed. I complained but I received no explanation or apology. It was a sad sight

The best ski hotel I have ever been to, great common spaces, spacious rooms, beautiful pool and Spa, restaurant delicious with a great selection. Staff professional and courteous. The only thing missing that would of made it a dream stay for me is a small gym, with weights and a few benches. Unfortunately the hotel does not have.

Das Essen ist Großküche/Kantine. Buffet und einzelne Gerichte werden zubereitet, sind aber von der gleichen eher sehr einfachen Qualität. Fleischgerichte sind absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Für das angepriesene Niveau passt die Küche wirklich nicht zum Hotel.

For any reason the allocated us in a a room very far away a from everything. I was Traveling with my daughter, so it was difficult to walk all the way from the entrance and take 2 elevators just to get to the reception. Also from the car park was a long distance to walk to the room. Also the hotel it feels a bit old..

I've never written a negative hotel review on TripAdvisor or any other site but I can't stay silent about the expensive Greif Hotel, which is poor value for money. It is part of the TH Group and I suspect the group is trying to maximise profits by cutting costs to the detriment of quality. We booked as part of a package through Crystal Ski Holidays, and I estimate that a three star hotel for perhaps £400 per person less would have been much more enjoyable. Firstly, the things about the hotel that are worth four stars. The swimming pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub are great. There is a beauty spa, a small gym with three running/cycling machines, a dedicated children's play room, an underground parking garage and a ski equipment rental shop. On the other hand, I didn't need or use any of those. There was an extensive wine list of local wines with reasonably priced "house wine" options. Varied, free bar snacks were provided with each drinks order in the early evening. The New Year's Eve reception and gala dinner was excellent, and many of the Italian guests wore evening wear. The food provided at the reception before dinner was excellent in contrast to the general quality in the restaurant. Next, the things that are almost worth four stars. The "superior" room was a good size with a balcony, but, oddly, not much drawer or shelf space for all of the extra skiing clothes. The bathroom was a good size, with a heated floor, reasonably large shower, bidet and bath robes. However, soap and shampoo, etc. was from dispensers fixed to the wall, that was a bit two star but this was upgraded before our last night to more upmarket "Rituals..." versions. There were always staff available to welcome us and some of the staff worked extremely hard (others did seem to be employed to stand about). Three stars. Breakfast was a typical alpine hotel buffet, with a varied selection but nothing to distinguish it from a three star hotel. There is a bar lounge area, that is quite small for the size of the hotel. I would have expected a quiet area or snug in addition to the main bar, but there isn't one. That meant that after dinner, the "live" music was compulsory; this consisted of the same guy each night singing along to backing tracks whilst pretending to play keyboards. He wasn't terrible. Like most other big hotels in Corvara, the Greif runs a shuttle bus service to and from the Boè gondola (and the Col Alt gondola on request), however unlike the others, there is a much reduced service over lunch at three specific times and you have to call the hotel to request it for one of those times. Two stars: the dinner service. TL;DR version: mediocre, cold food. This is a weird hybrid of a world buffet (or perhaps self-service random tapas) and traditional (a Tavola) table service. Typically, a three star alpine hotel in Italy or Austria might offer four or five courses and that might be a buffet starter and perhaps desert with table service for the others. Here one or two courses of table service are optional but could arrive while you are still eating a starter from the buffet, because the two different approaches are not joined up. The table service consisted of two choices for each of a first and second course, one vegetarian and one not. Plain pasta or risotto in a wine or tomato sauce was an option in place of the first course. For New Year's eve, there was a fixed menu with (very) rare steak for the second course. The dining room consists of a large open "canteen" space with some adjoining smaller rooms. Large areas of unbroken vertical surface at varying angles reflect sound around the main room making it noisy, exacerbated by the number of people moving around the buffet. The first table we were given was adjacent to the salad buffet and the service was perfunctory: two different first courses arrive 10 minutes apart and the first of these was placed on the table without a word, and certainly not asking who it was for. The second course was a further 20 minutes late. We complained via Crystal and were given a table in one of the quieter rooms, and service for the remainder of the week was very good (bar the timing problem I mentioned above). The food itself was generally disappointing: not as palatable as any of the three star hotels we have chosen in Italy or Austria over many years. Much of the food on the menu (buffet or table service) was shipped in frozen and reheated: EU legislation requires that the hotel declare this for each item. Worse, nothing was served hot. The best we got was a reasonably warm risotto (after our complaint) or a pasta dish. Once, we were served almost frozen dumplings. And finally, we had to leave at 6.30am to catch a flight. Like other hotels, the Greif offers a "breakfast bags" service. Unlike other hotels, this is awful: a bottle of water (OK), a small carton of cold lemon tea, a small pre-packaged chocolate croissant and a wrinkled apple that was several weeks old (see photo). The Crystal representative told us that the hotel has had complaints about this before but claim that they cannot do any more. They could simply make up a breakfast the night before and store it in a fridge but they choose not to. With hindsight, we should have gone to the supermarket and done this ourselves. Given that the breakfast bag was our final interaction with the Greif Hotel, it almost seemed as if they were provoking us into writing a bad review, so I did. At least it kept me occupied on the flight home.

Breakfast was really basic. A lot of stuff is changed extra, we ware 3 in the room only two bath rope ware in the price of the room. They require swimming cap in the pool they have to pay extra. You get a towel for the Spa but they didn’t tell us we have to keep it because if you change you pay extra. The facilities are not renovated is visible that they are old

La zona benessere è contenuta. Sauna con 1 bagno turco e 1 sauna finlandese. Si può prenotare soltanto tramite App. Aperta solo pomeriggio sino alle 19.30 A colazione il caffè erogato da macchinetta dispenser è terribile, come pure il Cappuccino. Ho dovuto ordinarlo al bar con costo aggiuntivo A colazione ho trovato solo un tipo di pane fresco tipo toast da scaldare

La struttura vicino al centro è funivia .Il personale molto gentile , animazione serale molto gradita con muzica dal vivo. La colazione buona e abbondante con dolce e salato, la cena con dei piatti buoni e presentati bene, i dolci spettacolari.La piscina bella con una parte che va fuori con l’acqua riscaldata. Il sensore della porta era rotto perciò la prima sera non abbiamo potuto godere della piscina fuori , la seconda sera hanno lasciato le porte aperte così abbiamo potuto utilizzare anche la parte fuori che con la neve vicino era spettacolare. Centro benessere bello .La parte delle bevande credo che deve essere rivista per ogni turno pochi bicchieri per le bevande ,al turno delle 6-7.30 praticamente non c’era niente . La stanza bella molto spaziosa con una vista meravigliosa sulle montagne, l’unica pecca il divano al posto del cuscino aveva un buco.

Il servizio al tavolo a cena molto confuso non c’era una sequenza dei ordini ,abbiamo aspettato quasi un ora per il secondo . La sera dopo uguale .

Servizio piscina pessimo, arrivati alle 15 l'acqua della piscina era fredda non abbiamo potuto usufruirne post sci, nemmeno la mattina dopo perché è chiusa e apre alle 15, ma gli orari non sono specificati nel sito. A cena c'era un caos incredibile tra i camerieri, non ci hanno mai portato l'acqua ce la siamo andata a prendere noi, il sale non c'era, il grana chiesto e mai portato, aspettato tantissimo per i primi, il buffet era misero c'era pochissima scelta (ce più scelta a colazione) La colazione la mattina dopo chiesto un cappuccino, dopo 20 minuti non è mai arrivato e sono andato via.

Staff cordiale e disponibile, ristorante ricco sia per qualità che quantità sia a colazione che a cena, soddisfacente per tutti i palati. Zona relax confortevole, intrattenimento serale di compagnia
