Location in Bitez is right on the beach and close to other restaurants.

The hotel is not 5 stars - it it outdated and many parts abandoned. There is a giant tv screen in the front garden that advertises at night until late shining into windows without blackout curtains. The music is all AI in the beach restaurant where you eat. Gym is damp and dark. Simple request for an iron was met with response that the laundry was closed - it was early evening and wanted to iron my dress before going out. Bathroom roof tiles falling off, loose door handles that had to be jiggled to open room - given the amount we paid it was so disappointing.

Great beach location and probably the nicest property along the beachfront. Some of the staff were very nice. And great facilities - pool, spa, beach sun loungers etc.

The property felt very dated and definitely not like a five star, the staff were hit or miss - some very nice while some were indifferent, walls in the room are paper thin and not very well equipped (no iron for example), and the food was not good - especially the breakfast.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié l’esthétique soignée de l’établissement, qui donne immédiatement une impression de raffinement. L’ambiance était plutôt calme, idéale pour se détendre après une journée bien remplie. Gizem, au bar de l’hôtel, a été remarquable : professionnelle, souriante et toujours à l’écoute, elle a su rendre nos soirées encore plus agréables. La chambre était joliment décorée, fonctionnelle et très confortable ; les lits offraient un excellent soutien, garantissant des nuits reposantes.

Le premier jour, ma carte d’accès à la chambre n’était pas fonctionnelle : j’ai dû effectuer plusieurs allers-retours à la réception pendant deux jours, car la carte marchait puis ne marchait plus à plusieurs reprises. Cette situation a été frustrante et a perturbé le début de mon séjour. Par la suite, la climatisation de la chambre s’est mise à fuir abondamment : de l’eau s’écoulait en grande quantité, apparemment au niveau du tuyau de drainage. Malgré plusieurs demandes auprès du personnel, aucune intervention n’a été effectuée. Nous avons donc dû laisser la climatisation éteinte et disposer deux serviettes par terre pour absorber les fuites chaque fois que nous l’allumions. Enfin, même si le petit-déjeuner est inclus dans la formule, il n’était pas à mon goût : les produits manquaient globalement de saveur, et l’offre, bien que variée, ne m’a pas paru de qualité suffisante pour démarrer la journée avec enthousiasme.

In my opinion, the beach is the best in the area – wide, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was served very close to the beach, which was a nice touch, especially because of the lovely view. In the evening, the hotel had a lively atmosphere, with music and a pleasant vibe.

I believe more attention to detail would make a big difference. During our 10-night stay, the bed sheets were not changed at all. The shower didn’t have a glass door or curtain, so the bathroom would get wet every time. The breakfast didn’t quite meet the expectations for a 5-star hotel – it was modest and lacked variety, especially when it comes to traditional Turkish options, which other 5-star hotels usually offer. The towels also felt worn out and not of high quality.

Прекрасное место, пляж очень комфортный с удобными лежаками и песчаным входом. Очень вкусные и разнообразные завтраки. Там же можно пообедать и поужинать. Номер просторный, удобные кровати. Красивое лобби и внимательный персонал.

На пляже очень дорогое обслуживание. Мы заказали 2 безалкогольных мохито на ключ. Уезжая оплатили аж 800 лир! Были шокированы такой ценой.

Absolut KEINE Empfehlung für die Familien! Dieses Hotel ist gleich Hochzeitslocation mit Open-Air Parties bis 00:00 in der Nacht! Natürlich wussten wir das vor der Buchung nicht. Wir haben 2 solche Hochzeiten erlebt, die Musik war so laut wie in einem Konzert! Unser Baby konnte nicht schlafen! Dazu noch hellhörige Zimmer, man hört die Nachbarn auf dem Klo. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, man muss den Kinderwagen immer hochtragen. An der Rezeption wurde uns gesagt dass Wasser aus dem Supermarkt im Hotel verboten ist (ohne Begründung warum) und wir das Wasser vom Hotel bekommen sollen. Allerdings bekommt man 300 ml pro Person pro Tag, was ein Witz ist. Verstehe nicht wie sowas überhaupt möglich ist. 80% des Personals spricht kein Englisch. Teilweise schmutziges Geschirr beim Frühstück. Die Qualität entspricht nicht 5 Sternen!

Não é, nem de longe, hotel 5 estrelaa. Banheiro com problemas (goteira do vazo sanitário do andar de cima, que pinga sobre quem usa o banheiro). Sujeira e vazamento no banheiro. Barata no quarto. Dificuldade em resolver os problemas do quarto e ausência de disponibilidade para ajudar. Alem disso, a praia de Bitez não é das mais limpas.

Klimaanlage spielte verrückt, ging alle paar Stunden aus. Am 2. Tag dann Problem gelöst. Alle 2 Tage ging Karte nicht mehr, musste neu programmiert werden Im Bad: Abfluss im Boden ließ Gestank ins Zimmer Sehr weitläufige Anlage mit nur 1 Aufzug am äußersten Rand, daher weite Wege für Menschen mit Treppenproblem

The location is great, the beach is clean, and a cosy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms are a bit small, and breakfast could be better with more food variety.

Poor service, food and staff not able to communicate. We had a number of serious issues with the room and had to call several times to be fixed. Among other things we had an important water leakage in the bathroom for 2 days.

Man hat mir gesagt das ich ein gute Zimmer bekommen habe leider war das letzte Loch. Booking hat mir mit Riesen Rabatten für 217 Euro Zimmer Verkauf aber am Unterkunft koste das Zimmer für 9.000 lira umgerechnet für 190 Euro ohne Rabatten. Ich werde Booking Rabatten nichtmehr glauben.

Più che un 5 stelle direi un 2 stelle. La stanza era molto più piccola di come appariva in foto, le pareti sono talmente sottili che non solo si sentono le conversazini delle camere attigue ma anche tutto ciò che accade nei bagni, il personale non parla inglese ed è sempre stato difficile chiarirsi, il letto non dipone neanche di un lenzuolo ma solo di una copertina che non ispira per niente igene, il water era storto, mentre il mobile del lavabo era rotto. La biancheria inclusa era vermante pessima a volte anche rovinata con dei buchi. La colazione era dozzinale, e nonostante l'ambio buffet non è all'altezza di un hotel 5 stelle.

La posizione , direttamente sulla spiaggia di Bitez. Non male la piscina e la palestra. La struttura in generale è bella ed anche elegante.

La sicurezza nella struttura è da rivedere, durante la notte qualcuno ha bussato nella porta dei nostri figli, svegliandoli e svegliando noi, nella stessa notte molte persone hanno percorso i corridoi rumoreggiando ed impedendoci di riprender sonno.Le stanze non sono nulla di che, certo non da 5 stelle, così come il servizio in generale, lunghe attese( soprattutto al bar/ristorante) e risposte mai esaustive.( molti non conoscono l’inglese). Molti servizi non erano disponibili: il market, il parrucchiere, la discoteca etc. Altri in stato pessimo di gestione, per esempio : il biliardo con tutte le stecche rotte, e dal primo giorno all’ultimo non è mai stato pulito con bottiglie e pezzi di biscotti in vista( allego la foto). Ci sono molte cose su cui lavorare e molte possibilità di miglioramento.

La location molto bella e la vicinanza al mare (praticamente fronte mare).

Pulizia nelle aree comuni, soprattutto nei bagni della reception, pulizia nelle camere e personale più attento al rifacimento delle stanze, abbiamo spesso dovuto rincorrere il personale per asciugamani e carta igienica mancante. Frigo bar in camera vuoto (neanche l' acqua). Manca l' aria condizionata nelle parti comune. Non tutto il personale della reception e del bar/ristorante parla inglese. In generale lo classificherei più come un buon 4 stelle.

Bella atmosfera appena si entra nella hall. Personale molto gentile e veloce nel prenotare un taxi. Spiaggia bellissima con lettini molto comodi e servizio bar. La sera c'è sempre musica live, forse i cocktail sono da rivedere. Abbiamo fatto massaggio in Spa e un ringraziamento ad Alì che ci ha consigliato. Da tornare.

Great location, right on the beach. Very good facilities. E.g. plenty of pool and beach loungers available for the number of guests, so no problem getting a 'good spot' on both the beach and at the pool. Nice breakfast options and a large variety. Friendly and helpful staff. Very happy with our room and view. We were allowed to change with no fuss and the guy genuinely wanted us to choose a room that we were happy with. Rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard.

Beds are small. The hotel is aware but beds were custom made for the rooms so its difficult to change. WiFi available but not great. This is possibly not the fault of the hotel though. A lot of UK guests were there after getting their Turkey teeth.

Bathrooms not clean, lights go off and sensors don’t work so you have to use your flash light. Hotel is not 5 star it should be 3 star. Not as per pictures. Showers tiny and dirty No hot water, must leave it running for 10 mins at least. Bathroom sink broken, water gets collected in a bucket. Would not recommend at all.

Hotels was beautiful! Exceptionally clean, room cleaned daily, beautiful interior & pool area. Never a problem getting a sunbed. Very chilled. Room comfortable with all neccesaties. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice. Lovely area to sit by beach.Ate in evenings & food always excellent. Staff were fantastic, so welcoming, friendly & helpful. Shout to Beyza & Robin on reception who were always so friendly & helpful Eugene, Torba & the youngsters on beach service were absolutely lovely. Looked after us perfectly. Will definitely return & recommend

The best location in Bitez, few minutes drive from all the good restaurants and shops. Staff were very accommodating and responsive via whatsapp, made sure we were well looked after (went above and beyond in helping us book a cab even when we were well outside the property's vicinity and well into the late hours of the evening)! Couldn't say thank you enough. THANK YOU!!! Breakfast was a BEAUTIFUL spread, restaurant and bar staff were lovely. And yes - there's wifi!!! 100% would go back here on my next trip to Bodrum.

The food was not nice I had to send my food back twice cause it was raw meat and ordered soup which was cold also the food quality was bad and over priced…I don’t think it should be a 5 star hotel to me it was like 3 star I’ve seen better

Konumu, otelin hemen önünde sahilinin olması büyük avantajdı. gece yabancı hafif indire müzik çalan asyalı grup gecemize hoş bir seda bıraktı. masaj hizmeti çok dinlendiriciydi.

Bir kaç olumsuz yorum yüzünden çok çekinerek gittiğimiz bir oteldi. Ancak iyi ki olumsuz yorumlara itibar etmemişiz. Otelin konumu harikaydı. Önünden merkeze minibüsler gidiyordu. Otelin mimarisi de harikaydı girişte çok gösterişli bir lobi. Çalışanları yardımsever ve güler yüzlüydü. Tek olumsuz yanı güvenlikler. Kolumuzda bileklik yoksa dışarıdan kaçak girmişiz gibi koşarak yanımıza gelmeleri çok iticiydi. Onun dışında denize yakın plajı güzel gayet keyifli bir tatildi.

Beds. All double beds are small in size. We booked a double room and needed to upgrade to have enough space to enjoy our stay to its full extent.

I had a very pleasant stay at Amvrosia Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made a difference! The location is also a big plus—close to key attractions and easy to get around. The spa services were a highlight of our trip, very relaxing and well-organized. The breakfast had a good variety, with fresh and tasty options to start the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

My family and I came to turkey for a family event and stayed at the Ambrosia hotel for just over a week, we have never stayed at the hotel before but are familiar with them as we have travelled to Bodrum a couple of times in the last few years, however this is the first time we have came here not during the summer season. As it is approaching Christmas, the hotel has a very cosy feel to it, lots of stunning decorations up and nice amenities to for the colder winter season. We highly recommend booking a massage/Hamam treatment in the hotel spa, which is reasonably priced and very very relaxing. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool which is heated, perfect for the December weather. Food was nice, lots of nice variety, although we only ate dinner at the hotel 2 nights, the other nights we decided to go out to Bitez, where there are lots of great restaurants and cafes. The room was a great size, nice view too, looking directly over the sea. It was stunning. The room has lots of great features, great wifi speeds, nice tea/coffee station and comfortable beds with a choice of different pillow types.

As the room was directly facing the sea, there was 1 or 2 nights of strong wind which was louder than we would have liked against the balcony window. However, it is just due to the time of year, as most people travel to Turkey in the summer season, this will not be a problem. Just something to consider if coming over winter.

Loved our stay here. The whole place has been designed really nicely, with a traditional Aegean vibe. The rooms are nice with good beds and a good shower. There are also really nice custom toiletries in the bathroom. Housekeeping leave mineral water everyday. There’s a lovely Turkish breakfast included, with a good selection available and the restaurant has a great view of the beach. There is also an indoor restaurant that is used when the weather gets a bit colder.

Unfortunately the sauna and Turkish bath were closed for maintenance. However, there are jacuzzis and steam rooms which makes up for it a lot.

Very comforting hotel, there is lots to do even in the winter time which is great considering that bodrum is a very seasonal-based city. The food was great, nice and fresh ingredients and quick enough service. The hotel grounds are stunning, lots of palm trees about. I would love to come back and stay here again in the summer months. We will definitely return in the future. The staff are all very friendly, its like a big family here, they make you feel very welcome and are all very chatty and fun.

This is a very nice hotel, the reception/indoor living area is stunning. The Ambrosia has great facilities throughout pool table and dart board in the lobby, lots of tvs and private sitting areas in the lobby, a nice library that is secluded and quiet, a decent business centre with access to printers/photocopiers etc. The hotel also has a great indoor pool that we used a lot because it was too cold to use the outdoor pool (indoor pool is also heated), there is a good-sized gym as well with a good selection of equipment. The indoor restaurant is stunning and is used for the breakfast service, and the beach restaurant is used for dinner (it has nice gas heaters and the staff will offer you blankets if you are cold). The Ambrosia hotel is very welcoming and the staff make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, the reception staff are very helpful (and they will book taxis to and from the hotel whenever you need.)

The business centres computers are a little outdated therefore they can be a bit slow, although it is not a massive issue at all. Some of the equipment in the gym is a little outdated too, although there are also some nice workout gear.

Good location, direct access to the beach

The AC shown 31 degree but it was freezing inside the room. The sink was dripping, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. At first they attribut us a room which was in total rebuild with sheet all over the floor and furnitures covered with plastics. The breakfast was cold, not fresh and with very poor variety of meal. In addition to this, if you wanted drinks like orange juice, it was on additional payment. Moreover, the steaming room and jacuzzi were cold. However, the place looks good and has a lot of potential, but not fully exploited. The cleaning stuff also forgot to provide clean towels to us.

Lovely hotel and a fantastic location. I'm a regular traveller to Turkey and Bodrum is definitely one of my favourite places in the country. In the last decade or so Bodrum has been getting exponentially more popular, and in the last 2 or 3 years especially, it has really become one of the go-to places. If you are looking for a place that is tourist-friendly whilst also maintaining a strong cultural background. Bodrum is incomparible. We came at the start of november and stayed for 6 days. The Ambrosia does very well to keep their guests entertained and comfortable in the off season months. The hotel was not busy at all, only a handful of different parties staying here due to the summer being long gone. The spa in the autumn/winter time is amazing, it is perfect to start your mornings off. The weather was on the most part great when we were there, 2 days of rain but it was only a light shower in the morning and then the sun dried it up by lunch time. Highly recommend coming here in the peak summer months (may-september) as the place is booming.

My partner and I spent a week at the Ambrosia, it was one of our most relaxing and peaceful holidays in the last 30 years! We came in the last week of October, the first thing about coming to turkey at this time of year is the weather is actually bearable, especially for a pair of oldies like us. During the day the weather is nice 20 degrees, not as intense as it would be in mid-summer, and during the evening the temperature drops to a nice 15 degrees, however, it does feel colder than that so appropriate autumn clothes are needed. The hotel itself is marvellous, every single corner of this place has great attention to detail, it seriously felt more like a five star hotel than a four star. The restaurant is nice and clean with good food, the lobby is very warm and inviting (it also has nice games to pass the time like a pool table, darts boards, an array of board games for all ages and a nice library. The beachfront is gorgeous, starting every morning off with your breakfast and a coffee here, it doesn't get much better :D The hotel is in a lovely area too, there are plenty of nice places in the town to go for dinner, drinks, coffee etc. Even at this time of year we still were not left with nothing to keep us busy. We would highly highly recommend this hotel for your future travels, it is perfect for all age groups.

The beds were a little firm, and not as comfortable as I would have liked. However, the hotel does offer a pillow service and you can request different types of pillows depending on your preference which was a lovely touch.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Ambrosia, we stayed for 5 nights at the start of November. We were able to take advantage of the great end of season deals the hotel was offering, upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite room which was a plesant surprise. The room was massive, with a sitting area and a bedroom area, the bathroom was nice and clean and shower was nice. Bedding changed every other day, although we could request a change whenever we liked. It was a shame that the November weather stopped us from using the outdoor pool as it looks brilliant. Although we took advantage of hotel spa which was a delight. The restuarant was great, quite quiet at night times due to the time of year, but it was nice and comfortable. We would definitely love to return here in the middle of summer at some point in the future, we look forward to returning:)

I liked the hotel look from the outside and the beach front but that's all. Everything else was terrible

Everything was terrible from staff to rooms door keys not working. Needed to change the key every day or every few hours. Rooms didn't get cleaned properly and they didn't inform us that the spa was open for us. It looked like everything was all closed. Showers didn't look clean at all and the toilet sink was leaking water.

This hotel feels like a 5-star hotel. I would not be surprised if it became one in the future, it is nicer and pays better attention to detail than some other 5-star hotels I have stayed at. There are lovely complimentary refreshments and snacks upon arrival while you check in. There is a pillow service where you can request different types of pillows depending on your needs. The hotel spa is amazing; there are several massage rooms, a traditional Turkish hamam, jacuzzis, sauna, steam room. The hotel gym is very good compared to any other hotels I have stayed at, some outdated equipment, but plenty of new stuff too. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool depending on the season. The lobby has lots of TVs that play sports and a nice library too, as well as a pool table and different board games. There is a great chef that specialises in desserts (we had a different dessert every night we stayed). The beach is perfect, nice and clean too, and there are tables on the beach to have breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, it was too chilly for us to get in the sea as we came in November, but the indoor pool is also heated. On top of all of these amazing facilities, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They are great at recommending local things to do. This is a seriously fantastic hotel, we will definitely return for a summer trip next time to experience the beautiful turkish summer weather.

Wir haben einen Last-Minute-Urlaub in die Türkei gebucht, um die End-of-Season-Angebote zu nutzen. Der Preis, den wir für dieses Hotel bekommen haben, war UNGLAUBLICH! Dies ist ehrlich gesagt einer der beeindruckendsten architektonisch gut durchdachten Orte, die ich je besucht habe. Dieses Hotel ist wirklich einzigartig. Die angebotenen Dienstleistungen sind genauso großartig wie das Design. Toller Spa-Service mit sehr professionellen, netten Damen – ich empfehle eine Massagebehandlung. Das Restaurantpersonal ist sehr freundlich und lustig. Die Kinder haben sie geliebt. Ein großartiges familienfreundliches Hotel!

This hotel is top top tier. Even if I am nitpicking, I can't think of a negative to say about this place. We came mid-October, and at times, it felt as if we had the hotel to ourselves really early in the morning. Lovely homely atmosphere in the beach restaurant of the Hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and will do everything they can to assist you with whatever you may need. The hotel facilities are unreal too, the hotel spa looks amazing, we did not get any massages (which we now regret), however the sauna and jacuzzis are free to use for hotel guests which we did most mornings.

Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a suite room, which was amazing. The suites are sea-facing, and the view from the balcony is by far the nicest view of any hotel room I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is brilliant, with such a grand entrance in the lobby. It is absolutely stunning! The staff are all very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, the reception staff are very helpful too, they can point you in the directing of anything you need, they booked us taxis whenever we needed it too.

My family and I stayed at Ambrosia for the first week of October, prices in October are brilliant for the quality and standard of the hotel. As well as the fact that it's still very warm and sunny. We recommend coming at the end of the season unless you like the real intense 40-degree heat of July/August. However, for us and the baby, October was the best choice.

Had a great stay at the Ambrosia Hotel. Stayed here for a week with my partner. Can't think of anything particularly bad about the hotel at all. The hotel has everything you need, gym/sauna/steam room/jacuzzi included. The hotel spa offers an array of treatments at extra costs. The beach is great, nice swings out in the water and a cool raft you can swim out to.

Big group of 12 of us stayed at this hotel for a week at the start of October. We were nervous incase the weather wasn't great, however, luckily it was amazing. Some members of our party have been to turkey multiple times and they said that the temperature at the end of September/start of October is perfect if you don't like real intense summer heat. The hotel is amazing, very family friendly, the kids loved it and there was plenty for the adults to enjoy too.

Alleinreisender hier. Ich habe 5 Tage im Ambrosia Hotel verbracht und werde definitiv in Zukunft mit meiner Familie für einen Sommerurlaub zurückkommen. Ich kann nichts Schlechtes über dieses Hotel sagen. Es ist das perfekte Strandhotel: leckeres Essen, großartiger Service, freundliches Personal, viel zu tun in der Umgebung, sichere Nachbarschaft, saubere und gepflegte Zimmer/Einrichtungen.
