4th time stay and it’s still a small gem stay.

Liked it all.

La struttura, stupenda in stile coloniale curatissima in ogni dettaglio, è un vero gioiello. Direttamente sul Chao Praya, immersa in un giardino tropicale con orto e canali. Due piscine stupende, ottima colazione, possibilità di fare attività come cooking class. I dintorni sono tranquilli e immergono nella vita locale.

Les 2 piscines sont magnifiques! Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décoré, les lits confortables l’hôtel est agréable et très beau et le petit dej plutôt pas mal ( plutôt à destination des thaïlandais ) avec la salle de restaurant avec vue sur le fleuve. Nous avons adoré mais c’est notre 10 eme fois à Bkk et nous n’avions pas prévu d’aller au cœur de la ville. Nous avons donc apprécié le fait d’être a l’écart de l’agitation. Le restaurant à côté est tout simplement magnifique sur le fleuve et nous avons très bien mangé. Nous avons beaucoup aimé et nous y retournerons volontiers!

Peut être une petite odeur d’humidité dans une des 2 chambres. Sinon tout était très bien !

A superb colonial-style hotel less than 10 minutes from Koh Kret. The setting is idyllic.

It’s a pity that the massage booking app doesn’t work properly. We had reserved a massage through the app using available time slots, but we received a call informing us that no slots were actually available that day.

The property is very pretty. All of the plants and ground are meticulously cared for. The restaurant on the river is a huge bonus and the perfect atmosphere for a sunset dinner. The private pool in our room was fantastic. The service from the staff was exceptional. Great stay and can't wait to come back!

Our next door neighbor had a dog(s) with them. He barked all day and all night long constantly out by the pool. I wish that family was placed somewhere away from other guests.

Brilliant location, its truly a resort. 45 minutes to Bangkok outside peak times...great to come home to. Rather stay here and visit Bangkok than stay in Bangkok.

Rustig gelegen in pittoreske stijl. Geen handdoekje leggen bij het zwembad en geen drukte in of bij het zwembad.

Doordat het rustig gelegen is ligt het ook wat verder overal vandaan. Personeel in het restaurant voor het diner was niet zo vriendelijk terwijl de schoonmaaksters juist heel aardig en attent zijn. Wij kwamen wat eerder aan maar mochten nog niet inchecken. In plaats van dat er dan extra de best gedaan wordt om ons wat eerder toe te laten moesten we in de lobby wachten terwijl anderen de kamer al in konden. Uiteindelijk hebben wij nog een kwartier langer moeten wachten. Dat zou toch anders moeten kunnen.

It was my first time staying at this beautiful hotel. The hotel complex truly surprised me in a very positive way and was much better than what can be conveyed online. I had my final meal before departure at the restaurant by the river. It was exceptionally good, and throughout my journey I kept thinking about the wonderful food. I would like to express my sincere thanks for everything.

Location from Bangkok a little out of the way, and entering the property is a bit confusing. The beer at the pool is too expensive.

Das mit Abstand beste Hotel, das wir im Großraum Bangkok kennengelernt haben. Selbst im Vergleich zu bekannten 5* Sterne-Häusern. Stilvolle Zimmer, hervorragendes Frühstück, exzellentes Restaurant und tolle Lage am Fluss. Und wenn man ins Zentrum will: die Red Line ist nur 10 Minuten (oder 80 Baht) vom Hotel entfernt.

This was a beautiful property! The pool, the restaurant, the rooms.. it felt magical. The staff was also warm and welcoming and it made landing in Bangkok unforgettable.

Perfect location if you look for a short getaway trip near Bangkok. It's very peaceful, and makes you feel like you're living in a place back in time. The room is spacious, the breakfast was good enough, and most staffs we met were helpful. We would recommend this place to others, and will come back.

The bed was too hard and we can't sleep well. Some staffs we met could have been more services-minded - that's the expectation of a hotel at this standard.

Superb location and surroundings (the riverfront, greenery, and spacious area for strolling. A convenient store (CJ) and local fresh/food market are just in a walking distance. The hotel architect reserves the classic vibes with decoration of paintings and old photos giving a calm ambiance to the place. Cleanliness is outstanding throughout the hotel area and the room. Cleaners are helpful and very polite with beautiful mannerisms to guests.

Front desk staff are not warm and informative. For example, the hotel was arranging for the New Year event using the swimming pool area on the 2 floor but no pre-warning to guests about the workmen clearing out the area. Guests were leaving items at the pool on the way to breakfast. When returned to the pool, guests found that all the sunbeds and chairs were removed and their items were left on the floor. There should be a notice to guests in advance by either verbal or a sign.

Breakfast should be much better at this grade of hotel. We were pretty surprised especially as in Thailand breakfasts are on average amazing. Also there should be at least some vegetarian options, our friends struggled.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. The pool was lovely.

The location wasn't great. The hotel was quite isolated and it was too far to walk anywhere. Had to get taxis.

I’m rating this stay subjectively, and from that perspective I have no complaints. I booked it as a one-night stop after landing at DMK on an evening flight, before heading out of Bangkok the next day. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and I rested well. The staff were kind and responsive, they replied quickly to my inquiries via Booking.com messages. There was plenty of parking, the internet was fast, and I was able to do a short Zoom call without any issues. The hotel is about a 30–40 minute drive from DMK Airport and close enough to Bangkok that I could enjoy dinner at my favorite restaurant before heading in. The surrounding area is a typical local Thai neighborhood, but once you enter the resort it feels like stepping into a different world. For my purpose, I really enjoyed staying here, and it was a good decision that was worth every baht.

Prachtig luxe hotel. Goed ontbijt. Heerlijk rustige locatie. Ver van de drukte. Voor ons in dit geval een bewuste keuze.

Airco te krachtig. Valt niet af te stellen. Douche ook lastig af te stellen. Dan weer koud, dan weer bloedheet. Eten en drinken nogal prijzig. Personeel lijkt niet allemaal het Engels machtig te zijn.

It was peaceful retreat from the busy city life. The room was clean and quiet. There were several areas to explore on the property and we really enjoyed the evening restaurant on the river with live music. We also really enjoyed the restaurant for lunch next door with several Michelin stars.

The breakfast buffet was good but not great. I think there could be room for improvement with more western food choices and/or a signature ‘speciality’.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön im Kolonialstil gestaltet – auch wenn es bereits etwas älter ist, versprüht es unglaublich viel Wärme, Charme und Geschichte. Man spürt die Liebe zum Detail in allen Bereichen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, und auch ein Late Check-out war auf Nachfrage problemlos möglich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Breakast was poor. Large dishes of spicy things but no euro choice for things like fresh natural yoghurt with fruit.
