Room was quite small but very clean and comfortable. Location to the airport was great.
Booked through Booking.com so breakfast wasn't included. Breakfast was expensive if you paid for it as an extra. Received an email advising that if we had booked direct with the hotel breakfast would have been included so call this number and we will help you. I called the number and the staff said there was nothing they could do. I didn't see the point of sending the email if nothing could be done. Found that quite annoying.
A localização é ótima!
Everything we needed for a one night stay required for a very early morning flight. Restaurant first class. Manager and staff friendly, helpful and "on the ball".
Single street light at bridge v. bright into the bedroom window.
Staff were lovely and the food was delicious
Gezellige kamers, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Prijs-kwaliteit was de prijs te hoog. Ouderwetse badkamers.
Schöne Lage, gutes Frühstück und Parkplatz vorm Haus
Alles ok soweit
Location was good , very old inn , room was nice and snug spotless as was the bathroom very clean very welcoming staff
The doona cover could do with replacing a wee bit worn and tired , the tv how do you watch it if you want , had the haggis neeps and tatties so different to what I’ve had before so disappointed
The room was very comfortable
The neighbourhood is a bit untidy
This is an extremely cute and charming bed and breakfast very convenient to the airport. We only booked it for our last night because we had a very early flight and then wound up being very surprised by the excellent restaurant and professional staff.
Nothing, I wish I had a few more nights there.
Very quaint and intimate
Lovely wee area with a nice outside bar. Rooms small but cozy
Price of drinks, especially wine
Charming location, very cozy and clean rooms, great food (we had dinner and breakfast), but the highlight was the outstanding staff. All of them incredibly friendly and welcoming.
A perfect place to stay next to the airport if you are flying in or out. The rooms are beautiful and more importantly quiet yet the restaurant and lounge were hopping. The food is excellent.
The bed was comfortable but the room was small. Breakfast was good.
We arrived late evening and just missed dinner service at the hotel. There were no restaurants open nearby. The pub in the hotel also closed early. The room was clean but small.
The Inn was just minutes from the airport. It was in a lovely location next to a canal with walking path. Cute and quaint little town.
Room was a bit small but tastefully decorated and loved the old feel of the Inn. Restaurant was very nice with a nice bar area. Food was great.
Lovely comfortable room, lovely setting to walk by canal, staff friendly, good food.
Location
My clients said the rooms were tired
La qualité des prestations, chambre, restaurant et bar et l'accueil chaleureux et professionnel.
Rien
The Bridge Inn is close to the airport. We had a very nice experience at the Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location was nice.
I was not able to get any sleep. Whenever a door would open our door would shake. The windows in our room and the room next to us were broken and would shake violently through out the night. It was the worst sleep I received the whole trip. When checking out, there were people there to fix the windows. I would upload videos but I don't think I'm able to.
Wonderful local bar atmosphere. Delightful staff at both dinner and breskfast. Food was great. Will stay again as our Edinburgh airport hotel. Staff called for our taxi.
Rooms are small but that was expected.
Beautiful location and atmospheric pub. Fantastic food. Staff could not be more helpful. Such a lovely alternative to a soulless airport hotel.
A little more time consuming to get to and from by public transport but just needs a little extra planning.
The setting is magical. Close to Edinburgh but ages away.
Stairs a necessary evil just be aware.
The staff were welcoming and very accommodating, especially ensuring that one of the rooms we reserved met the needs of a member of our party. The food was great! We were able to be seated for a meal at any time during the day since the restaurant is continuously open. So we enjoyed breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with a good variety of choices. Our bathrooms were spacious, and both the bedroom and bath were comfortable. There is plenty of parking right next to the inn. The location in Ratho is beautiful - next to the canal with walking paths that our party enjoyed. It is convenient to the Edinburgh airport and city via a short taxi ride. The Bridge Inn seems to be primarily a restaurant and bar with the 4 overnight rooms on the floor above. Even so, we were not disturbed by noise.
As the Bridge Inn's primary business is the restaurant and bar, checking in and checking out is a rather haphazard affair of finding the knowledgeable staff to do it. And some requests seem to get lost in the shuffle - we requested a taxi for the morning, but it didn’t show. For requests like that, be sure to get double confirmation.
Love this place , room was great though hadn’t been upgraded at all since my last stay in that particular room in 2015! Still as comfortable though , great bath and shower
Nothing!
Extremely clean and quaint ! Staff is exceptional
Breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were both abundant and delicious! The orange juice was fresh.
There was no live TV in our room due to a faulty cable . The old sash window did not stay open without a prop, but it wasn’t a problem really as there was another to open.
Staff was helpful and pleasant; we had dinner in the restaurant, and it was excellent. The location was good for us, as we had to return our rental car to the airport early for a morning flight next day. And we chose the inn because we wanted to spend our last night in a traditional Scottish atmosphere, not an international chain hotel. The surroundings, with canal and canal boats, as well as a family of swans (parents and 7 or 8 chicks), were delightful, and quiet. The pub was pleasant, too.
While we expected it to be an old building, the room was rather cramped, with the ensuite bathroom fitted in, and it was quite cold. The hostess turned on the radiator for us, but it was slow - fortunately, there was also a space heater in the closet, and once we ran that for an hour or so, we were comfortable. Because we had to leave early, we didn't get any breakfast.
Lovely pub near the river
Absolutely loved the location…close to the airport but a beautiful spot along the canal.
The room was very clean and comfortable but It was located above the bar and the entertainment was a little loud as we had to catch an early flight the next morning.
Supervriendelijke mensen en werkelijk een zalig bed!
Eigenlijk niets
Excellent Cullen Skink, burger & sourdough bread starter. The room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable with a coffee making machine. Bathroom was lovely and all of the toiletries smelled gorgeous. Breakfast was excellent. The small full Scottish breakfast was huge! I bet it is fabulous in the summer by the river!
No bottled mineral water, they 'filter' their own and carbonate it and I am a water snob so felt this let the hotel down as a 4 star because we could both taste chlorine in the water they claim is filtered. The bread that came with the soup wasn't very nice so if I go again I shall ask for the sourdough starter with the soup because it was absolutely delicious.
Comfortable clean bed. Large bathroom with clean towels. Lovely view and so convenient for us going to the airport early morning.
Furniture was in a poor state and there were no bedside tables.
Great location for the airport and on the canal which is lovely to walk. Friendly welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere and food is 11/10. Bedroom has cute coffee making facilities and treats etc . Parking isn’t an issue either .
There is a late check in fee of £20 if you arrive after 11pm. Understandable but as close to airport may be worth some form of key box ?
Good food and busy little bar on an evening
Nothing all was good
Friendly staff, close to the airport but far from a chain hotel. Really comfortable and easy to check in/out.

I love everything. It was very cozy and friendly.
It was little far from town.
Big car park Close to airport Nice bar Comfortable bed Good tea/coffee making facilities
Radiator in bedroom did not seem to work, bathroom one did. Extractor fan in bathroom did not work
Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff and lovely dinner.
Tutto perfetto
Beautiful pub and nice rooms
Book the restaurant, as it was very busy on Sunday night stay .
The town was really pretty and my room had an amazing view. The bed was very comfortable and the room even came equipped with coffee, tea, and various other complements which was a very big plus.
Nothing much only that it needed some renovations and a little better cleaning because we had a spider web in the corner of the room.
Loved the late booking Sunday night price, great value....I enquired to booking a date in February for a Saturday night....295 quid yikes!!! That's serious dosh. The property is historical with many fine features, warmly welcomed, into a toasty as hotel on a wintry night. Great service, staff are superb, a couple even had personalities ;)......Breakfast was good, however the Sunday roast Sirloin recommendation was over rated / mediocre, bit tough & lacking the expected vegetables...i.e A Brussel Sprout thief in the building? Aside from the humour, overall its great,
Lack of vegies in my main dish :(
Great location. Staff very welcoming. Delicious breakfast.

Onsite restaurant and lovely staff
Charming. The room was small - hard to find a place for luggage - but it didn't matter because the room was authentic. After traveling for over 2 weeks, it was so nice to finally have a bathroom with counter space for my toiletry kit. We had a fabulous dinner! No need to leave the Bridge.
nothing
The staff were amazing, especially the NZ person. Perfect location for a short stay before flying to or from the airport.
I really really enjoyed the place. The rooms had exceptional amenities and products to use. The price was OK... It was a treat for me to stay here, but was on the pricey side. Perhaps as it was only one night. I do think it was worth it however.
Everything the property, the staff, the placement. It was all amazing stay
Nothing
Good food, good location.
Rooms are a wee pricey.

Staff was fantastic and food was exceptional! Bathroom and room were a great size. Beds were comfy.
A white noise machine would have helped to cut down on the bar, road and noise from the washing machines running at 1am.
Terrific place to stay, lovely rooms. Excellent food
Rooms were snug.
Loved the location and the staff
The room was a little small but comfortable and clean. Loved the restaurant
Location and rustic feel.
Beautiful location and spotless rooms – but breakfast was a major letdown. The setting is stunning, and the rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. There’s a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel. However, breakfast was a HUGE SHOCK! We waited 45 minutes to be served, our tea and coffee order was wrong, we had to ask twice for the orange juice and had to ask twice for toast we ordered. The girl who took the order obviously wasn’t listening. We were then presented with a bill for £54 for two breakfasts! We had been led to believe breakfast was £12 per person, but it turned out to be £27 per person – and the service was frankly the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. A beautiful place to stay, but the breakfast completely spoiled what could have been a perfect visit. Be warned: if you want breakfast, make sure you book it in advance at £12 per head. I loved the location and comfort, but sadly, I won’t be back.
Exceptional location, comfort and customer service. The restaurant is actually Michelin rated!
The laundry machines, located right below my bed, operating at midnight, we’re a little challenging.
Sits along a canal so you can watch the boats go up and down the canal
Stairs!!
The rooms are so cute and clean with great views. Very comfortable bed and the best hotel towel! Only a five minute drive from the Edinburgh airport but feels like you are in a cute village! The restaurant downstairs is exceptional and the staff is wonderful at every turn.
Just know that there are no stairs but the staff is more than willing to help. The hotel can be a bit noisy when people are entering/exiting other rooms.
The Bridge Inn was lovely, the food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful! We loved the setting by the bridge and had beautiful views of the canal. It was a great place to spent the final night of our trip to Scotland!!
Close to the airport for and early morning flight.
Egress for our early morning start (5am) was down the fire escape because no staff on. Duty andmain doors were not open at that time.
colazione e ristorazione al pub
The location near the airport is great, the restaurant is really good and thr staff are wonderful
It's a building from the 1700's: the windows in the room is hard to get open and keep open without it slamming down on your fingers, went to move a chair and it came apart, and very limited plugs for phones and they aren't near the bed, very poor lighting, can't plug a blow dryer in near a mirror. We stayed in the Baird room
Nice walking trail along canal. Very small room. Clearly had not been cleaned. Signs of previous guests.
We did not like it and we left and they still charged it. It’s below standard !!!
This was a perfect off the beaten track stay in a beautiful location. The staff was lovely and food wonderful.
Perfect location, near airport and also near the city, food lovely and staff very very friendly
Lovely room convenient location for airport
