la situation de l hotel pour faire étape et son calme

la propreté n était vraiment pas au rdv , la salle de bain était pas trés propre et il n y avait aucune poubelle pour mettre nos déchets , nous les avons donc récupéré , mais je pense que tout le monde ne le ferais pas , il y avait des traces sur la moquette du sol aussi.

A convenient and comfortable overnight stay to visit Laon which is a lovely place to stop on way back from holiday. Air conditioning was good. A bit far from city to walk in. Staff very friendly.

L'accueil, lorsque nous sommes entrés dans la chambre, elle était clairement trop petite. Nous avions des costumes de steampunk à enfiler. Il a immédiatement trouvé une autre chambre au rez de chaussée afin que nous puissions décharger nos nombreux bagages et nous habiller facilement dans la chambre.

La propreté. La salle de bain n'était pas clean , les tables du déjeuner n'étaient pas nettoyées, le choix du petit déjeuner assez déplorable avec des pots vides de confitures, pareil pour les fruits et la machine à café pas au top...

We hadden 2 kamer geboekt, beide kamer dezelfde prijs. De ene kamer was modern, schoon, goed werkende airco en pas opgeknapt, nieuwe badkamer, daar waren we heel blij mee. De ander kamer was precies het tegenovergestelde, airco die heel veel herrie maakte, afgebladderde verf, niet goed onderhouden, badkamer met gebreken, niet het geld waard wat we hebben betaald vergeleken met de andere kamer.

L’accueil du personnel.

Installé dans une chambre équipée handicap alors que je n’avais rien demandé et que je n’étais pas informé. Sol sale. Mauvaise odeur. Pommeau de douche cassé. Sèche cheveux HS. Matelas très mou et alèse en plastique bruyante. L’une des pire chambre en 30 ans de séjours hôteliers.

La chambre est moderne, la literie est confortable, le design épuré. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et la salle de repas agréable. L'accueil et le personnel est souriant, disponible et chaleureux.

La chambre n'était pas impeccable (miroir, paroi de douche, poussière). Les taies d'oreiller étaient propres mais non repassées ce qui donne une sensation de négligé. L'isolation n'est pas optimum (portes qui claquent, conversations dans les chambres adjacentes, bruit de l'eau qui coule) Le rideau bien qu'occultant, ne parvient pas à masquer la lumière rouge de l'enseigne.

notre chambre donnait sur l'entrée de l'hotel et face à une route très passante on n'a pas dormi de la nuit, traffic incessant des camions !

Only quarter a roll of toilet roll in the bathroom, 1 towel although room was for 2 people. Cold shower the night we arrived and still freezing cold the following day. Not just our room and reception seemed suprised which I found strange. Drinks seemed quite expensive and only pizza available to eat.

Staff were so lovely and helpful. Hotel super clean, we found this location many,many years ago and continue to return.

Not the fault of the staff obviously but a coach load of people meant there were long queues at breakfast and they required the attention of the staff at dinner. The staff did their best but maybe more staff needed?

Personale molto giovane e gentile, camera sufficientemente grande, parcheggio privato, prezzo conveniente, ma solo a patto di non fare colazione in hotel.

Bagno davvero ‘mignon’, posizione della struttura lontana dal centro storico e in una zona della città popolata solo da centri commerciali e grandi catene di di fast food, pulizia e qualità complessive al di sotto dei normali standard Ibis. Colazione abbastanza ricca, ma più costosa della media.

Breakfast was a muddle, clearly understaffed and arguing between manager and staff in front of customers, not a good look.

Location was perfect for a stop on our journey

Due to a large party we were unable to eat in the restaurant, but we went to the pizza restaurant across the road and had an excellent evening meal

The eating area was better than many such hotels. Although tiny, the bathroom equipment was good. There was plenty of parking outside. The breakfast was simple but good. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The evening meal , which we had booked for convenience because the centre of Laon is a 10 minute drive or an unpleasant half hour walk away, was disappointing because the choices were pizzas (3 of which were unavailable) or two different salads.

Jammer dat men geen plattegrond had van Laib. Het ons geholpen bij het zoeken naar een parkeerplaats om Laon te bezoeken

Many items had run out at breakfast. The coffee machine broke down and was located in the middle of the foot items making awkward to fill your cup.

Breakfast bar poorly set up resulting in chaos between getting food and hot drinks. Needs revision. Despite knowing coach party booked understaffed and ran out of some key items such as butter and tea bags

Excellent location. Spacious room with particularly comfortable beds. Responsive to our needs as one of us had just come out of hospital. Very pleased.

The only thing was that we thought that the ground floor rooms needed some sort of thin curtain in addition to the heavy curtains to allow natural light in.

Next door is an excellent though unpromisingly looking pizzeria, where I had the best pizza I can remember. The following night I sampled the couscous with equal satisfaction. There's a bakery and Aldi 200 m away and a Carrefour about 1 km. 300 m to the bus stop for the old town, which is essential in 38 degree heat as the pedestrian climb is not for the faint hearted!

It had a restaurant for evening meals. Air con was good, it was needed due to very hot weather. They accepted dogs.

Dat er op zaterdagavond niets geregeld is voor gasten om te eten. Zelfs een pizza serveren was niet mogelijk vanwege problemen met leveringen. Echter, we logeren vaker in dit hotel en horen dit jaar elke keer. Dit is dus onze laatste keer in Ibis Laon geweest. Voortaan gaan we naar een ander hotel in Laon wanneer we op doortocht zijn.

Friendly welcome from good English speaking receptionist. The bar lounge area has now been brought back. Last year it was part of the dining area and there was nowhere to sit and have a drink.

The hotel was seriously understaffed. They had a large dinner party coming that evening, so my friends and I were asked to make our dinner menu choices by 6.30pm from a cut-down main menu. Which we did comply with this and our food was delivered and coooked OK. There were only two people to serve meals, clear tables, make drinks at the bar, etc. They could not give us the level of service that we paid for and that they wished to deliver. The email I sent some months in advance to reserve our dinner table, to which I had had an acknowledgment, there was was no knowledge of this at reception and our table was not reserved. The outside of the hotel needs a really good tidy up, broken neon sigs, hedges overgrown, grass uncut, no umberellas on the outside tables, are just some of the things that gave a poor first impression.

La réceptionniste à qui nous avons demandé des adresses à grifonné deux deux noms sur un papier : un seul établissement figurait dans les pages jaunes : elle n’ y connaissait rien. Nous nous sommes débrouillés tout seuls et avons opté pour le Buffalo Grill, sans surprise. Elle était plus préoccupée à plaisanter avec un client qu’ à nous renseigner. Dommage

Despite the book in time our room wasn’t ready for an hour and a qtr. we were hot and tired and needed a shower and didn’t appreciate the extra wait

La restauration pourrait être améliorée car l'établissement part d'en bas La carte propose peu de plats et desserts. Pour couronner le tout, la serveuse nous a annoncé que la plupart d'entre eux n'était plus disponibles. Le samedi soir en l'absence du chef, nous avons du faire un choix entre 2 pizzas quand au dessert c'était glace ou glace.

Spazi veramente angusti anche se non mancava nulla di essenziale. La prima colazione non era di prima qualità.

Comfortable, clean room. Not very big, but fine for a one night stay. Big car park. Good breakfast. Lovely friendly staff. Good location for a walk into Laon, although it is a steep uphill walk! There is a large German cemetery nearby which we passed on our walk into Laon. Worth finding.

Ontbijt dat s'morgens om 8.30 uur al volledig op is ???? Geen kaas, geen fruitsap, fransbrood. Niets meer. Als je een grote groep hebt die bleef slapen, zorg je er als manager voor dat er genoeg voorraad is.

Air conditioning hotel bed comfortable room and breakfast very good but on our last day you had a large coach load of people in, and the Staff couldn’t cope. Seriously undermanned so much so that we had to help clear up after the coach people left. The coffee machine had run out of milk Not enough dishes, cutlery cups trays to accommodate the rest of the guests. 3days were very good which indicated that that last day was not the normal. Manager should have arranged extra staff to be on duty for breakfast.

Access from motorway / parking good

Breakfast was diabolical!! Very poor offering ! Very short staffed and the one member was trying her best but very frustrated as couldn’t keep up with demand ! Bake off bread still frozen in the middle of loaf when cut ! Conversations with other guests about quality of eggs (floating in water) overall worst breakfast ever !!!

Close to Laon, which is a lovely city to visit. We stayed in the renovated part of the hotel. Everything was clean and convenient. Don’t expect large spaces, but worth for your money. Very nice breakfast.

Entrance into the car park wasn’t obvious … a no entry sign stops entrance but is badly positioned and doesn’t apply.

Very convenient for an onward journey from the UK. Staff were excellent. Very polite and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were good - particularly breakfast. Best feature for us in this occasion was an air conditioned room during heatwave - giving us a comfortable night sleep. Cleanliness was of a very high standard.

Für eine Zwischenübernachtung völlig in Ordnung, das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich reichhaltig und vielfältig.

Poor value for money, narrow beds, very small room in which one can't walk 2 people abreast, only 2 towels provided for a couple, one would normally get 2 hand and 2 bath/shower towels for a couple. No drinks making facilities/kettle. Functional for 1 person, a squeeze for 2 people and very tight for a couple with a dog.

A fuir. Personnel pas sérieux. On m'a proposé un geste commercial en me remboursant les petits déjeuner, j attend toujours le remboursement. Réveillée à 1h30 du matin car quelqu un essayé de rentrer dans notre chambre. Restaurant à fuir, les tarifs sont exorbitant pour ce qu il y a dans l'assiette. L'hôtel est en cours de rénovation mais malheureusement nous avons eu une ancienne chambre. Le rapport qualité/prix n est pas présent. Il n'y a même pas de brosse wc dans les toilettes.
