Het zwembad was formidabel met zicht op de zee. Het personeel authentiek en op een informele manier waren ze zeer service gericht!

Beautiful location, looking over Alghero bay. Safe level walk into the town centre. Decent room, in the attic space, no views but we knew that in advance. Well appointed clean with good quality bedding. Great breakfast, plenty of high quality options. Freshly made coffees & option to order eggs & bacon. Great pool & hot tub. Always able to get a sun bed. We managed to easily park in an adjacent side street. We stayed 4 nights & didn’t use our car.

Steak at dinner was very tough

An oase in Alghero! Very friendly and helpfull staff. Spacious and very clean rooms. In the breakfast room there is a direct view on the sea. The infinity pool has a similar view. This pool is quite nice to relax at when you return from a walk through town or something similar. The venue is closed for public till 19:00, that' when the restaurant opens which gives you a lot of personal space at the pool. Breakfast is very good!!

Le manque de transat autour de la piscine car certaines personnes laissent sciament leur serviette toute la journee pour occuper le terrain. Le manque de transparence de la gestion de l hotel au sujet des soirees musicales ,si vous voulez du calme pour dormir....c est rate

TOUT ! L’emplacement est super, l’établissement en lui même… la piscine, la vue à couper le souffle… tout le personnel de l’hôtel, vraiment un endroit exceptionnel !

It’s a charming boutique hotel

We stayed during a very hot period. Air conditioning froze and stopped working in middle of the night which was very uncomfortable. It came on in the morning and it was told to me that set to 21c caused the machine to shut down - but it was 21 when we checked in and we didn’t change it. If we needed to have it set higher we should have been told. It should have been written on the remote. They offered to waive the parking fee and the bottle of water we drank. Thinking about it I should have insisted on not paying for the night. The staff were very nice. The room was nicely sound proofed but there was very loud music coming from a bar on the boardwalk below - had I not had earplugs I wouldn’t have slept that night. Bring earplugs and the problem Isn’t a problem. The restaurant was great - pricy but the quality was good.

La cocina no tiene cafetera y la vitro no tiene suficiente potencia para poder hervir agua. Tuvimos la mala suerte de que hubiese un evento abierto al publico y todos los asistentes pasaban por la puerta. Durante el evento mucho ruido y muy cerca de la habitación. Por el precio esperábamos no encontrarnos este tipo de cosas.

Prachtige locatie nabij Alghero en fantastisch zwembad.

Location is superb, just a few minutes walk to town. View is glorious, especially at sunset. Pool area is small but perfectly adequate, there aren't that many rooms so no fighting for loungers etc. During the day it felt that we had the whole property to ourselves, at night they open to the public for dinner and drinks which gives the place a good buzz. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Marco at the front desk and the ladies at breakfast. We arrived late on the first night but they were able to accommodate us for dinner which was very nice.

The property was immaculately clean but decor-wise it was a bit dated. The bones of the property are lovely but internally it could do with some character. The current decor is a little uninspired in that it is neither true to the original style of the period, nor fresh and modern. It could be stunning! The room was a good size and had a little terrace which was great, but again the decor let it down. It was comfortable to be fair, just a little bland which was a pity. The staff at breaksfast were lovely, smiling and helpful. The breakfast itself was nothing to get excited about, fairly standard. They don't do poolside lunch or snacks during the day, just drinks. None of the above would stop me from staying again, in general it was a very enjoyable stay. personally I just feel that it is lacking a few things that would make a truly 'boutique' stay.

Het ontbijt was geweldig. Erg uitgebreid en allemaal lekkere hapjes. Rosa was erg vriendelijk/lief, wist na 1 dag wat je bij het ontbijt dronk. Ook de receptionist met de blonde lokken (weet helaas zijn naam niet) was super vriendelijk en heeft ons veel tips gegeven om te bezoeken. We hebben 1 dag een fiets gehuurd, dat was écht top.

Het was jammer dat het restaurant in mei nog niet open was.

Location. Cleanliness. Size of room. Breakfast. The morning breakfast staff were wonderful - warm, friendly, professional.

The receptionist was not helpful when we arrived. Never offered to help with our luggage. Parking is an issue. We were put in a room attached to the main gate and on the main street at street level, so we heard lots of noise and has to close the shutters for privacy, so the room was always dark.

The grounds are pristine and the rooms are large and elegant with spectacular bathrooms. The view from the property is beautiful. It is within walking distance of the old town and many restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We absolutely LOVED the property, rooms and especially the AMAZING STAFF. The welcome on arrival was only the beginning to a stay that started as guests and ended as family. We will return as soon as possible.

Location and view from the pool area

The room was smaller than expected and the view was the laundry room. The outdoor pool wasn’t heated as advertised and that was a key reason for booking. Instead we were told they had a heated hot tub which was dirty. When we shared this they discovered it had a blockage and therefore emptied it as they had to wait for a part. Overall not great value compared to the other places we have stayed in during our trip to Sardinia

Perfect location, fantastic accommodation, beautiful gardens, amazing service, wonderful staff, yummy breakfast and so much more! We loved our stay at this amazing charming Villa overlooking the sea. Can’t wait to go back next year. Highly recommended !

You do not necessarily stay in the villa but in little bungalows of the area around - that should be stated. Quite expensive

Kaum belebt und das Anwesen könnte für mehr genutzt werden. Keine Sitzkissen a den zum Bungalow gehörenden Sitzmöbeln.

Geweldig uitzicht over zee. Ontbijt was verzorgd, op verzoek een ei-variatie. Melden via intercom bij de gesloten poort=veilig. Mooie tuin en terras. Vriendelijkheid van personeel.

Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal, perfekt läge med fantastisk utsikt och solnedgång. Rena, fräscha rum och smakfull inredning. Det var riktigt fint att äta frukost på den stora terrassen helt utan trängsel. Det finns ingen hiss och rummen på andra våningen hade en ganska brant trappa, men personalen hjälpte oss med väskorna. Vi njöt verkligen av boendet och det var härligt att ligga vid poolen på eftermiddagen och njuta av utsikten. Många kom dit och tog en drink och betraktade solnedgången. Väl tilltagna portioner i restaurangen och fina råvaror. Vi fick även bra rekommendationer till andra restauranger i närheten. Ett mycket trevligt boende som vi varmt kan rekommendera till andra!

Luogo meraviglioso e ben tenuto. Posizione strategica perchè non troppo in centro città, ma comodo per andarci anche a piedi. Staff molto disponibile e premuroso. Stanze pulite e spaziose.

The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk along the waterfront to the historic town. The property was an oasis, with gorgeous vistas and great service.

- Im Gebäude hat es keinen Lift. Wenn man im Dachstock sein Zimmer hat, muss man eine kleine, steile Treppe überwinden - Beim Nachtessen im Restaurant des Gasthauses stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Uns wurden Vorspeisen und Hauptgang gleichzeitig serviert. Ausserdem wurde der Fisch des Hauptgangs anders zubereitet, als wir es bestellt haben. Die Restaurants in der Nähe bieten ein ähnlich schönes Ambiente zu einem deutlich besseren Preis.

Loved the location and the gardens, pool and hot tub. The house, bar and breakfast room was also beautiful as was the breakfast. Our Studio was very comfortable (a little exposed with being right next to the main entrance to the property)

Villa Mosca is a high end small hotel. It is spotlessly clean with big high ceiling rooms and lovely bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was delicious with coffee served at the table. The pool is delightful looking over the sea swim in the day and have an aperitif and watch the sunset in the evening. The hotel also has a car park ( extra charge) which kept the hire car off the streets.

As it is an expensive treat, it would have been good to have some complimentary water in the room. However we walked to the co-op and bought a bottle.

It’s beautiful, perfectly located, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the pool - with a view - was to die for.

Stairs! Don’t stay above the first floor. Sounds big but the sloping ceiling tightens the room.

Or shower leaked no matter what we did to try to prevent it. I understand that tree roots were making the floor uneven and that it is going to be repaired soon. I bellowing that is what contributed to an overall moldy smell in the room. Also the manager/ owner and wife hung out each evening in the main lounge area which made us feel uncomfortable stopping in for a glass of wine. They didn’t engage just did their work despite the fact that staff was there to operate.

The breakfast was perfectly adequate. Good selection but not particularly remarkable.

This is a really charming hotel on a beautiful piece of property. Wonderful staff and a great location.

Old beautiful italian villa, big garden, perfect ocean side location, amazing breakfast, no kitsch at all in any aspect, very good stay.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the heart of old town with its many shops and restaurants. The room we had was an amazing corner room on the 1st floor with the best views over the ocean and old town. The outdoor area and pool were fabulous and the team at the front desk, thanks in particular to Marco were extremely helpful. The breakfast was great and we were extremely pleased we could secure an off-street car park adjacent to the entry gate. All in all....a wonderful hotel.

Absolutely stunning views for the coastline and lovely garden. Hotel’s staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful (thank you!) Small house we stayed in was very comfortable, we apprieciated small kitchenette, I loved it had a cute little terrace to enjoy the outdoors with more privacy. Breakfast is very good.

Finding a parking spot may (or may not) take few minutes. On the other hand - it’s because it’s very close to centre, just on its quiet side!

Great location near town- a perfect stroll to restaurants and shopping.

The best experience for a Bed and Breakfast my first and let me tell you no one does it better than la Mosca

The villa is perfectly located just outside the old city walls with a fabulous view over the sea. The villa rooms are outside the main house but are bigger and more comfortable. Fabulous dinner at La Saletta restaurant which has collaboration with the villa.

Evening front desk could have been more helpful in suggesting sights to visit in Alghero.

fantastic location, a view to die for. Such an intimate place you nearly felt you were in your own villa. We stayed in a studio which was ideal with our own garden area with a lovely garden view and you could see the sea too!
