Friendly staff, very helpful and nice common areas

We have stayed in this hotel on a previous occasion and it is just a fabulous place to go to for R & R.

Nice but modest hotel, on the lower end of 4 stars.

Great stay.

A well kept property with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are well-appointed and parking is plentiful and free. But the breakfast.....That was a delicious surprise!

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at Booklane. They bring you complimentary Coffe or tea upon request!! We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Free parking at hotel as well. The staff is absolutely fantastic! The town a Kenmare is lovely with wonderful restaurants. Next I’ll stay longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brook Lane. The hotel is finished to a high standard and is a quick walk into the centre of Kenmare. Staff were excellent on all accounts, particularly at the breakfast service where all were proactive and friendly. The breakfast offerings were amongst the best hotel breakfasts I have had. The full Irish was a ndividuslly cooked and all ingredients were top class. Will definitely return when next down south.

Hotel was truly amazing. Staff could not do enough for you. Breakfastxwas amazing the sausages are so good. Dinner was great and there was a short cut into town which had some lovely bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend

The included breakfast was excellent as was the restaurant.

The property was beautifully done. They had great amenities, the breakfast was great, everyone was super helpful and nice, and the beds were comfortable. I know this may seem like an expectation, but the towels were soft and thick. Many places we stayed this trip did not have nice towels, so this was appreciated!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is lovely. Close to a walking trail into town and lots of parking. A little traffic noise but not bothersome at all.

Excellent hotel for the price, very high end. Not what we expected. Breakfast is included and was great, Una was our server and gave us a lot of great information about the surrounding area and went to see. Lucy at check-in walked us to our room and was awesome. Bed was comfortable surrounding area outside was quiet, shopping and a nice downtown area nearby. Very walkable from the hotel. Breakfast tastes great. I would definitely stay here again

An excellent hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. A lovely comfortable room, good car parking and a 5-10 minute walk into Kenmare. Only stayed the one night as travellling on further on the ring of Kerry but would stay again to Kenmare and the Beara penninsular next time

The room was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The restaurant provided us with probably the best meals and service we have received in two months away from home. A fantastic overall experience. Strongly recommend.

Staff was very helpful. It's a short walk into the historic area along a quiet path. Dinner at a great pub. Breakfast was great. Parking right outside in a lot. Very comfortable stay!

Thisnwas a beautiful hotel with some of the best blood sausage in Ireland. Super friendly and sweet staff.

The team was absolutely outstanding. The owner, Una, was a delight to meet. She was so hospitable.

We’re on holiday in Southern Ireland and this was our 6th hotel stay and by far the best, was a great pity we were only there for 1 night. Superb hotel and very nice staff especially Johnnie the barman/waiter nothing too much trouble for him. Also was served by a smashing waitress at breakfast unfortunately don’t know her name. Their food is beyond good, fantastic & all home made, you could certainly taste the difference. We would definitely stay there again. They put other hotels to shame.

Lovely hotel and food. Comfy beds and clean rooms.

After a long drive from Dublin, we were in need of some pampering. Entering our room, I was shocked in how large it was. In addition to the king bed, it had a love seat and chair and a large table. There was also a large closet for your coats and other items. The safe was a plesant surprise. The bathroom had a large tub and shower. Bath bombs are available for sale at the reception area if one should want to indulge. We had dinner and breakfast on property and both were incredible. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay at Brook Lane Hotel was fantastic. Mornings began perfectly with a pot of fresh coffee, setting a delightful tone for the day. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a wonderfully refreshing shower and a bath that was perfect for a relaxing soak with the seaweed bath product purchased in the lobby. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of fresh baked goods, an à la carte menu, and a well-stocked fruit and cereal bar. However, it was the hospitality of the staff that truly made our stay memorable. From Tom at check-in, to Marie, our gracious morning hostess in the dining room, and Uma, our friendly social director who helped plan our driving trips in the area, everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful. After a long day of exploring, Casey’s Bar, in the hotel, provided a delightful end to the day with its excellent menu of local favorites. Overall, Brook Lane Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

Perfectly located in the heart of Kenmare - easy access, parking, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

This was my second time to stay at the Brooklane Hotel. The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in walking distance from town. The restaurant food was excellent I highly recommend the Brooklane Hotel

I would stay at The Brook Lane again. Was a bit tough checking in & getting thru lobby on first day as there was a wedding & the guests weren't very friendly to other people passing thru lobby so we chose to head out to the city centre for the evening. Rooms are very nice—quiet, clean, updated. Breakfast was delicious and our server was awesome! A little walk to get to city centre, but we knew that going in & welcomed the walk. It’s quite lovely & picturesque by the river— only takes about 5-7 minutes to get to restaurants & shops. Will stay again!

Seemed to be a hotel room rather than a B&b. Breakfast was great.

Welcomed into a spacious room, not even a suite but huge! The bed was plush with an inviting comforter and lotsa pillows. The huge tub beckoned and they sold bath balms in the lobby! Restaurant and bar service top notch with a scrumptious morning buffet included. Best of all when ready to leave the owner/hostess dropped us at the bus station, which was within walking but the big bag luggage was alot. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was only one night as we were travelling in Ireland. If we had known how very comfortable and hospitable this hotel a staff were, we would have planned to spend longer. The staff was so friendly and the rooms clean and quiet and cozy. Would definitely recommend to friends!

This is a great location in the Kenmare area. We arrived late one evening but the staff made sure we hot out dining request in before the kitchen closed. That was very thoughtful on the team.

Our stay at Brook Lane was, sadly, only 1 night - would gladly return to this lovely hotel! The staff were gracious and helpful, even to providing us with tea by the fire in the sitting area rather than in our room. We had dinner in the attached restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful - lots of variety, and all exceptional. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable - all in all, a wonderful stay.

Great property with well appointed, good sized rooms and the best included breakfast on our trip. The attention to retail in everything at this property was top tier.

This was a perfect hotel for our family (one child). The room we stayed in was exceptionally large and spacious--something that wasn't true in other "family rooms" in other hotels. The entire hotel and our room was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Compliments to the staff who were both friendly and helpful. Our young daughter became ill and the breakfast staff were so accommodating. They helped prepare a breakfast tray that our daughter could eat in our room. Check-in and check-out were very easy and the front desk staff was helpful and friendly. This is a wonderful hotel for anyone staying in Kenmare and a great hotel if you are traveling with small children.

We enjoyed our stay very much. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Food of very good quality. Although tea and/or coffee could be ordered and delivered to the room, we would have liked to see tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Particularly for "on waking".

Absolutely fantastic hotel , our first time staying in this hotel , could not find one fault with the hotel , food , service & staff was top notch , bedroom were as good as we have seen in all our travels . Highly recommend & definitely will be back ( can not praise it highly enough .

We were very pleasantly surprised at how well Una & staff took care of us during our stay. It is rare when visiting the country that the hotel ends up being such a wonderful and inviting experience. The daily breakfast was very good and something we looked forward to each day. We loved our room, our very comfy bed, the exhilarating shower, and the heated bathroom floors. Everything was spotlessly clean and well cared for. We highly recommend Brook Lane Hotel to home base out of for many excursions and they are very on point with all their recommendations.

The Brook Lane Hotel is conveniently located near the beginning of the Ring of Kerry road trip. The included breakfast begins at 8am and the dinner we had was nicely prepared. However, service in the dining room was a bit slow, mold was visible in the bathroom, and we could hear the person next door each time they went to the bathroom.

Tea and coffee were available but you had to ring for it and have it delivered to your room, would of been nice if there was in room facilities. As a “boutique hotel” did not match my expectations.

Lovely hotel! Extremely comfortable and quiet. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and the morning's breakfast was superb! The staff was super friendly and nice and the property was very clean and nicely maintained! Would stay here again, overall excellent place to stay!

Staff were absolutely lovely. Even going so far as to make us a sandwich far after the kitchen had shut.

Front clerk was willing to assist us with dinner reservations and provided local tips.

The Brook Lane Hotel is a wonderful, warm, welcoming, stylish boutique hotel with wonderful staff and proximity to the Kenmare city center and the Ring of Kerry. We arrived and were upgraded to a spacious suite. We were treated like family. The decor is art deco with a delightful twist. The information on local trails and activities and suggested tours on the Ring is extensive and helpful. The hotel's restaurant served some of the best, most delicious and tasty food on our trip. They have local entertainment in the restaurant every night. The whole stay was--as the Irish say, "grand." We recommend the Brook Lane whole heartedly.

Fabulous everything! From the moment we met Pat at checkin nothing could have been better. It was sad to leave after only two nights. What a lovely place and location. I hope to be back.

The Brook Lane Hotel was my favorite hotel yet on our 11 day trek across Ireland. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. The service was exquisite, the rooms beautiful and clean and modern. The breakfast was delicious. And we loved enjoying a complimentary pot of tea and cookies by the fireplace. More than anything, the owner was gracious and warm and welcoming and I wish we had more time to get to know her. Thank you for a lovely stay!
