L’appartement est très bien décoré, avec plusieurs niveaux, bien équipé (toutefois une poêle de taille moyenne serait mieux, il y en a une trop grande par rapport à la taille de la plaque chauffante). Il est bien placé à quelques mètres du centre.

La route qui passe le long de la chambre du premier est assez bruyante et ce dès le matin assez tôt, les fenêtres ne sont pas assez efficaces.

The location in the heart of Kenmare is wonderful. Communication was clear and helpful. We were also able to check out later than planned with the host’s approval. All in all, the apartment is highly recommended.

The stairs to the apartment from the entrance is quite steep. This was not a problem for us but might be for some.

The property comfortably accommodated our family party of 8, while allowing easy access to the center of Kenmare. Both apartments are cosy, well equipped and peaceful. Once we were inside, especially the basement apartment, you would not know that you were so close to the busy bars and cafes. I loved the interaction with the staff in the shop who were willing to take care of any needs. All in all, I highly recommend for a stay in Kenmare in the summer - the basement in particular was very cool even on the hottest day and upstairs is very airy at night. We very much enjoyed use of the well equipped kitchens for family catering. Thank you Cleo apartments for a wonderful stay in Kenmare.

Abbiamo viaggiato in 5 (due adulti e tre bambini) e abbiamo pernottato due notti. Abbiamo preso l’appartamento nel basement. La host Helen è stata chiara e disponibile dal primo contatto. Quando siamo arrivati lei non c’era, ma le sue amiche sono state gentilissime e ci hanno spiegato tutto. L’appartamento è grande, stanze spaziosissime e cucina super attrezzata! Letti molto comodi, librerie ricchissime e anche qualche gioco da tavolo a disposizione. Volendo c’è anche uno spazio esterno da noi non usato per il tempo un po inclemente (e perché siamo sempre stati via nel corso della giornata!) L’appartamento si trova in centro, con un alimentari a 5 minuti a piedi e due supermercati a 2 minuti di macchina. Parcheggio: noi siamo forse stati fortunati ma abbiamo sempre trovato posto vicinissimo!

Niente: la prima sera faceva un po’ freddo pur essendo luglio e Helen ha SUBITO acceso il riscaldamento!

Perfect spot in the town so easy walking distance to everything yet quiet at night so good sleep. Host was wonderful and helped in every way possible with a friendly smile. everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Would love to return.

Loved it all

A quirky and bright, first floor apartment, the location was perfect. Middle of the town, parking was close and free. We were lucky enough to get a spot on the street outside the door for packing up the car before departure. Restaurants/bars all in walking distance. Condiments were in the kitchen so no need to buy for a short stay. Beds and linens were lovely, and very comfortable

There is one bathroom which would need an ordered approach if there were 6 people staying, but we were 3 so not really a problem.

Apartament znajduje się w piwnicy, a wchodzi się do niego przez korytarz połączony z uroczym sklepem galerii, w którym można znaleźć piękne wyroby z irlandzkiej wełny. Nadaje to temu miejscu bardzo wyjątkowy, lokalny charakter. Kuchnia jest bardzo dobrze wyposażona i ma wszystko, czego potrzeba do komfortowego pobytu. Cały apartament ma niepowtarzalny klimat, trochę jak tradycyjna irlandzka izba, pełna uroku, charakteru i drobnych detali, które sprawiają, że różni się od standardowego apartamentu wakacyjnego. Są tam dwie sypialnie, salon z aneksem kuchennym oraz małe prywatne patio. Warto wspomnieć, że z okien nie ma widoków, a same sypialnie i kuchnia nie mają okien, więc może to być istotne dla osób, które potrzebują dużo światła dziennego. Dla nas było to częścią charakteru tego miejsca. Telewizor jest raczej mały i delikatnie zachęca gości do czytania książek, co właściwie bardzo pasuje do atmosfery apartamentu. Właścicielka, Helen, była bardzo miła, pomocna i troskliwa przez cały nasz pobyt. Mieliśmy również jedną bardzo nietypową wakacyjną historię związaną z czymś niespodziewanym, co pojawiło się z góry, ale na szczęście wszystko dobrze się skończyło. To zdecydowanie będzie jedna z tych historii, które będziemy opowiadać rodzinie przez lata. Podsumowując, jest to urocze, dobrze wyposażone i bardzo klimatyczne miejsce w świetnej lokalizacji. Polecamy je każdemu, kto szuka miejsca z prawdziwym irlandzkim charakterem, a nie nowoczesnego, standardowego apartamentu. EN: We spent a week at Cleo Gallery Apartments and it was a truly memorable stay. The apartment is located in the basement and you enter through a corridor connected to a lovely gallery shop with beautiful Irish wool products, which gives the place a very special and local character. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

PL: Jedyną drobną niedogodnością był dość wąski korytarz oraz wąskie schody prowadzące w dół do apartamentu. Stopnie są dosyć wysokie, więc dla osób starszych lub mających problemy z poruszaniem się może to być trochę uciążliwe. Nie było to jednak dla nas dużym problemem, raczej coś, o czym warto wiedzieć przed przyjazdem. EN: The only small inconvenience was the rather narrow corridor and the narrow stairs leading down to the apartment. The steps are quite high, so for elderly guests or people with mobility issues it may be a little inconvenient. It was not a big problem for us, but it is something worth knowing before arrival.

Die Eigentümer sind wunderbar herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und der Wohnraum ist sehr gemütlich. Für uns 5 Personen war mehr als ausreichend Platz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Kinder liebten den kleinen Innenhof.Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, sodass man Kenmare gut erkunden kann.

Es gibt im Bad keine Lüftungsmöglichkeit und auch ein Schlafzimmer hat kein direktes Fenster nach außen. Beim nächsten Mal probieren wir die Wohnung im 1. Stock aus.

Cleo Gallery upstairs apartment is fantastic! Quaint, clean and very close to Kenmare town amenities, but still very quiet.

I can’t speak highly enough about the Cleo apartment and Helen, the host. My wife Nikki and I loved every moment we spent here. The apartment was beautiful, located right in the center of town, above Helen’s amazing artisanal wool crafts/clothing and accessories shop. She provided us with everything we would need for everyday living along with extras that made our stay special. Helen is a treasure and we are all the better for her conversation and friendship. Also, the views from the bedrooms are as picturesque as they get. Absolutely breathtaking. As we were leaving, we keep saying how lucky we were to not have stayed at another hotel located in the area. Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay at the Cleo Apartment because you will miss out on something truly special. Also, get yourself a scarf because they are sooo soft and lovely!

Cleo was absolutely fantastic, the apartment was so cosy and warm for our January trip to Kenmare. The generously stocked pantry and library were a lovely extra touch. Helen was beyond lovely, and the shop above the apartment is well worth a look through. 10/10

it was clean, tidy, and close to everything we wanted to do.

It would be good to have hooks on the back of the bathroom door for our towels. Also, the espresso machine was not working, but the french presses were a good backup.

The apartment was lovely, everything exactly as in the pictures. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive and flexible. Will definitely come back

.The lan̈dlady runs the wool and knitwear shop downstairs. She offers some quite superb pieces, which You won't find in the other shops.

Beautiful quirky dog friendly apartment that was very comfortable and provided everything we needed in a great location right in the centre of the town but away from any noisey nigt time areas. Parking was handy between the spaces outside and close proximity to a town carpark. Our host Helen provided lots of local information on good places to visit.

Loved the location right in the town with access to the shops and restaurants. We large kitchen and living areas, comfy sofas and very quaint decor.

We were not aware the place is not really accessible for people with mobility issues. Steep stairs from the entrance with limited handrail. Two of the three bedrooms are then up further steep stairs. This was an issue for us as we invited a relative who uses crutches. The double attic bed also needs replacing as it feels like it will collapse every time you roll over! Very comfy but creaky.

The apartment was well located, decorated, very clean and the staff were lovely.

The entrance stairs’ handrail is obscured by the doggy/baby door. It feels unsafe when using that part of the stairs.

The apartment was tastefully furnished and felt like a proper home. We had a friendly welcome from Helene and Gaelle and the location was perfect in the town centre.

One bedroom was upstairs in the roof and was very warm at night with the only bathroom down the stairs. The shower is over the bath, fine, but the bath was very narrow and felt a little unsafe.

Would be user friendly for anyone with any mobility issues re all stairwells in the property very steep & no walk in shower so access to shower in the bath would be tricky.

Helen is a wonderful host with plenty of ideas and advice about exploring the best that Kerry has to offer. The flat is a welcome alternative to a boring standardized hotel room with plenty of beautiful features and loads of space. The beds are extremely comfortable and the flat was well heated. The apartment is ideally located in the center of town just a minutes walk from all the restaurants, cafes and shops. We will definitely be booking the apartment again whenever we return to Kenmare.

The proximity was fantastic, it is a perfect little village with beautiful pubs, cafes and restaurants. Helen was very helpful and friendly.

So cosy, very well equipped kitchen and even little items like shampoo in shower was so lovely. The beds were very comfy and the apartment was very quiet, very easy to relax.

Loved it all, but if anyone was unsure of footing I would not recommend due to original floor being un level which isnt unusual for original floor.

Heating was awaiting some repairs. Not particularly a problem, but could be as the winter rolls in. I have no doubt that the proprietor was on the job. I was in the basement apartment. Not a problem for me, but could be for older people or those suffering from arthritis.

It was a wonderful place to stay. It was so comfortable and felt like home right away. The weather slowed down our adventurous plans, but that was totally fine with us, as we thoroughly enjoyed a day in just relaxing. We played games at the kitchen table, read on the comfy couches, and cooked a nice meal in the big kitchen. Thank you for offering such a sweet spot.

Given it is very old building, the stairs are very steep, not suitable if travelling with elderly or with limited mobility, and only 1 bathroom for 7 people.

I had a safety incident with a window that could’ve been prevented, but Helen was very gracious and kind, and handled it quickly.

It has really interesting decor with a well-stocked kitchen and interesting architecture. It's also in a great location.

There was only one bathroom (in a three bedroom apartment). This complicated showering a bit for two couples who wanted to maximize their time visiting the area. I don't believe the advertisement made this clear. (We were surprised.). Also, one of the bedrooms has minimal privacy from the street. (I had to stand in the window sill to close the blinds.)

Dear Cleo Gallery, I hope this email finds you well. Our group of five stayed at your accommodation on April 30th-May 1st. On May 1st, the day we checked out, my uncle found 19 bed bug bites across his legs and arms. For reference, he slept in the room next to the bathroom. We are quite frustrated by this turn of events, as well as concerned for future guests. Especially considering the sizable cleaning fee, we would expect for the unit to be adequately cleaned. I insist to receive some refund for the inconvenience this experience has caused. If we can’t reach an agreement regarding the compensation then I’ll reach out to booking.com for mediation. I attached some photos. Please look into and resolve this issue. If you do not take action, I will report this matter to BBB (The Better Business Bureau). Thank you for your attention to this matter. We love the vintage theme. The house has all the things we needed. The house was cleaned, the honour is really nice and gives a lot of tips about the place to visit and she is always ready to help

Old timber windows and I'd imagine no insulation so bit chilly. Road noise in front bedroom. Upper attic room was a bit stale smelling but easily sorted by opening the velux in the evening. Very steep stairs.

The apartment was lovely cosy and clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and was well set up for self catering with family. We had a highchair and cot set up for us when we arrived which was so appreciated. Loads of space in the bedrooms too. The welcome was typically Irish and friendly. Kenmare is such a lovely town also. Great stay, thank you!
