The fireplace is spectacular, the hotel was well maintained, comfortable, warm, extremely quiet (we didn’t a single noise whilst in our room!) and very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really cosy and comfy, absolutely spotless and like a home from home. The free breakfast was very tasty, with lots of different options to choose from and great views from the restaurant

Parking was very expensive and a walk away from the hotel albeit it was safe and spacious. The sauna was off on the one occasion we went to use it so we had to call reception for them to turn it on and took about an hour to warm up by which time we had to move one, this was a little disappointing as it was in the middle of the day and sauna opening hours.

Pyszne śniadania, z widokiem na zatokę i port. Sauna z dojściem do morza i analogicznym widokiem. Lobby robi super wrażenie z kominkiem przez wszystkie piętra.

Hotel is centrally located, good for walking around town. Lobby has a nice large fireplace where people relax. Breakfast was very good and has windows overlooking the water. Room was clean and spacious.

Je n’ai pas aimé la suite junior que l hôtel a donné aux clients booking après discussion j’ai pu profiter un surclassement dans une suite magnifique sous les toits. Ma demande a été très bien prise en compte. L hôtel a le charme du bois, poutres apparentes et solives en bois et il se trouve dans le port. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, expérience agréable et relaxante

Le dîner offert au restaurant de l hôtel reste très sommaire sinon tout était bien

Poutre basse dans la chambre (pas très grande), pas besoin de faire 1,95 pour se cogner. Appareil oublié dans la chambre à notre départ, pas de retour de l'établissement malgré des relances. Décevant pour un hôtel de ce niveau

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Brosundet. Everything was perfect — the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, full of character and charm, and the location is amazing. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful throughout our stay — warm, welcoming and attentive. It is honestly one of those hotels that makes the destination even more special. Such a beautiful experience from beginning to end, and definitely a hotel I would love to return to. Highly recommended! ❤️

Nice room, good gym, good location, good common areas.

I mailed in advance about parking stating clearly the size of campervan and asking about parking and was told it was too large for their parking. I sent another mail querying their response as our van is smaller than many cars- no response. I asked again on check in for parking for our campervanand they said no again. I asked what size their parking was as our van was the same size as many cars but a little higher. They agreed to look at the vehicle and agreed it would fit and gave us a space. It should not be this difficult and they should have read my mail properly. Also we booked a room with sea view and were assigned a corner room with one small window overlooking the sea. I asked if they had a better room and they gave me one with more windows and a better view. Again I should not have had to ask.

Fantastic location in the town with our room looking the water watching the fish and jellyfish floating past. Wonderful wooden inside of the hotel with amazing fireplace. Even in mid-summer, the fire was lit and lovely and cosy. Great breakfast.

Room was on the small size but made up for it by the view over the water.

Excellent loct

The hotel is in an architectural landmark building, you can recognize it by the yellow color. The room was very convenient for a solo traveller like me, the breakfast was exceptional with a full variety of food and nice coffee.

Well, for a 4 start hotel, I was disappointed not to have a refrigerator in the room. Also, the bed was too soft and not optimal for back pain.

Pretty building. Nicely furnished. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Close to good restaurants and activities. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice location , short walking distance to tourist spot, we had early check in, there also have private car parking for guest in a short walking, anyway, there is parking close to hotel that was cheaper. There are too variety of Brosundet view rooms, so ask for big windows room for nice views. Breakfast was ok ,

Too much variety of room with Brosundet view that sometimes caused under expectations, I need to ask for big window room. Too salty foods at restaurant no.5.

Geniale Unterkunft direkt im Altstadt Bereich von Alesund. City Center, Aksla und Hafen in Laufnähe. Fantastisches Frühstücksbuffet, sehr netter Empfang und Service. Parkplatz gegen Gebühr verfügbar.

Comfortable room that looked and felt pretty cozy. Windows open. Nice size bathroom. Staff is great.

The bed was squeaking with every move. It was a little odd that the empty tissue box and low amount of toilet paper wasnt replaced when the room got cleaned. I had to ask for it at reception.

It’s an amazing building. The common areas are very nice. The staff were helpful.

It was a bit complicated being in the other building. It felt a bit too expensive to me for the quality of the experience. Some confusion about whether the restaurant was open or not

Great location , close to the waterfront , restaurants and local shops

The room was extremely small, and a long way from reception in a second building. The parking whilst secure is remote from the hotel. The noise from the local bars around the Harbour goes on till 0400, not good for a restful stay. Not good for Motorcycle travel, and overpriced, paying for location only.

The location was great, the restaurant and communal areas were lovely, the food was lovely.

Staying at Hotel Brosundet was an unforgettable experience. The amenities are top‑notch: a fantastic breakfast, extremely friendly staff, and a restaurant with a stunning waterfront view. I enjoyed every moment — from biking around the charming surroundings to relaxing in the sauna, working out in the gym, and soaking in the outdoor bathtubs under the open sky.
