Great property. Location was close but quiet and the staff were very helpful!

Perfect sized family run hotel with lovely greek architecture all built around generous pool with mountains views. Decent size very clean rims with comfortable beds and good Aircon. Quiet, but welcoming fantastic patio area for incredible breakfasts with a wide range of food options, as well as midday and evening dining. Three minute walk to the beach and shops, 10 minute walk to town centre. Have their own cars for Car hire.

The owners and staff were wonderfully kind-nothing was too much trouble and we felt they would go out their way to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Best pool we’ve experienced. Comfiest beds! Location is great, at the end of the beach so quiet but we loved walking into town along the boardwalk. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Là colazione buona ma potrebbe essere più varia e meno ripetitiva. Prima dell’arrivo abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà a metterci in contatto con lo staff.

Nous étions dans une chambre rénovée mais petite. Nous devions passer par l'extérieur de l'hôtel pour aller prendre le petit déjeuner et aller à la piscine. Les chambres et services de l'hôtel ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur d'un hôtel 4 étoiles et du prix que nous avons payé. Pas de tasse disponible dans les chambres pour se faire thé ou café. Nous devions tous les jours aller en chercher. Peu de place pour s'installer au petit déjeuner si on ne veut pas être en plein soleil La piscine n'est ouverte que à 11h et ferme à 20h... Dommage. Peu de places dans les transat disponibles autour de la piscine.

The pool however it only opened at 11am which is ridiculous when you have kids. All because the outdoor breakfast area is by the pool so people may get splashed.

Check in - no info given about hotel or area. Had to go back and ask all questions myself. Room - Absolutly awful! Couldn’t open balcony doors properly due to how cramped it was. 4 beds crammed in meant no space anywhere. Beds - hard and felt like they’d break! Staff - some couldn’t understand us at all for example asked for chips and they gave us crisps. Hot tub - charged extra and wasn’t ready when we arrived. On day 3 the water was green and 24hrs after we checked out my son developed a skin bacterial infection linked to the water.m as co formed by a Greek pharmacist and doctor. Decor - stuck in the 80’s! Needs an upgrade

What a wonderful hotel, owned and run by such a kind and caring family. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the pool was absolutely perfect for our two children, aged 5 and 6. The food and drinks were always fresh and delicious. Eva, her son and daughter, along with the rest of the staff, were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They kindly helped us with travel suggestions, arranged excellent car hire, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The beach was only a lovely stroll - 3 mins - walk from the front door. Our top priority was finding a relaxing hotel, and this place exceeded all our expectations. We left feeling refreshed, well looked after, and extremely grateful for such a memorable experience. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special – we would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

We loved everything! The pool, the room, delicious breakfast. It’s a family operated hotel. Close to the beach and the port yet remote and very quiet. You can rent a car from the owner if needed, they will also guide you what to see. They are very nice, carrying people. We will miss this place on our future vacations.

The owner Eva and her family were amazing during our entire stay. The facility was clean and everyone was so helpful. The location is perfect as its very close to town and very close to the beaches. They also provide services like renting a car for a very reasonable fee. I would highly recommend Astir of Naxos to all.

The room was a bit tight for our family of 4 but our goal was to spend as much time out of the room so it really was not an issue.

Facilities great, pool gorgeous, staff helpful, breakfasts very good and area lovely.

The staff was amazing! The owner and her daughter were super helpful anytime we had questions about what to do, where to go to eat, to explore, etc. The breakfast was fresh and the morning staff were also great. Super friendly, quick on clean up, etc. The people made the experience a 10/10 and the property was very well maintained. Fresh paint, clean everything, pool was immaculate.

Not too much to improve on here…we truly loved the experience and our stay. If I could provide 1 constructive recommendation it would be to get a few new pieces of equipment in the gym. However, it’s not a big deal when you think about it…if you’re in an amazing place like Naxos literally a few steps from the beach….what was I doing in the gym anyway! Hahaha

Good location. Close to the beach, which is full of cats. Walking distance to town (15-20 mins) and the port (under 30 mins). Friendly and helpful owner.

Our rooms were not ready at 3pm. About 20 mins late. Our rooms were only made up after 3pm on the second day so we could not relax in them that afternoon. The beds are old. They did not restock water at all. 2 bottle for 3 nights per room. They did not restock coffee on the second day.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made our family feel like their own and couldn't do more for us. They went above and beyond to make my dad feel special for his 70th birthday. The breakfast was good and more than we expected, the hotel was spotless. Cleaned so well. The pool was huge too with plenty of sunbeds and very comfortable. Location wise brilliant, so close and just a 5 min walk to the beach and 15 yo the town.

The hotel is in a fantastic position, just a 5 minute stroll to the beach, and from there a further 10 minutes along a charming boardwalk to the main town and Marina. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great. Evagelia and her lovely family were very welcoming and friendly and Eva even offered to give us a lift to the Port when our transfer didn't turn up! Absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The best service ever! Very helpful staff and the lobby and pool areas were great to meet with friends we were travelling with. The front desk and manager was amazing! We left a jacket in our room and boarded the boat to Santorini. The hotel packed the jacket and sent it over to Santorini by boat the next day at no charge! Great location as well with a short walk to beach and town.

Hosts were lovely and informative on places to go and see. Beautiful resort, very clean, highly recommend.

Absolutamente todo. La atención del personal es de 10. Te facilitan de todo para tu estancia incluso para el exterior (toallas para la playa, que está a escasos 3 minutos andando), además de informarte a tu llegada de todo lo que puedes hacer en la isla. Las instalaciones son magníficas (habitaciones, piscina, etc) y la zona está lo suficientemente lejos para no afectar a tu descanso el ruido del pueblo principal. Recomendable 100%

Close to George’s beach. Peaceful with an excellent spacious pool area. Staff friendly. Great balcony although rooms a little dated and breakfast could be better.

I’m curious as to why the hotel has been open decades and only has 300 reviews. The most dated hotel I’ve stayed in since the 90’s when I booked teletext holidays for £99 and took my chances with being allocated on arrival. I don’t understand the positive reviews or the star rating. It’s the weirdest incongruous mix of ancient & modern. The positives are the location to the beach, the lovely family who run the hotel, the blackout curtains and comfortable beds. The Wi-Fi and air con were effective. A door key to physically lock the door, yet a fob for electricity. A flat screen tv, placed in front of the only mirror obscuring its view. A modern bathroom (in some but not all rooms) but ancient built in bedroom furniture that was scuffed and stale and ill fitting. Air freshener in wardrobes to disguise smell which was very off putting. Didn’t unpack as didn’t want clothes to smell like the furniture. The aircon gave off a smell of vinegar when it started up. This is not a 4 star hotel and the website and photos and claims of what it offers are misleading. Hairs on bedding, sheets and towels. Small stains on bedding and towel. Safe key attached to electricity fob so you can’t open the safe and have the light on at the same time. Very limited drinks supplies in room. One single teabag. 2 Nescafé pouches. No milk or teaspoons. The website states a minibar. No information about hotel or anything in room. Sun-beds were really grubby. The poolside shower was very grubby too. I didn’t get in the pool (although it looks nice on photos) and I only took coffee (nice, from machine) and fruit at breakfast because it was unappealing. A light bulb exploded (glass shattering across room) when I turned the bedside light on, the hairdryer bracket (located over the sink) fell apart when I picked it up. I didn’t see a smoke detector in room. I’m sorry for this review but I couldn’t wait to leave this hotel. It was my first visit to the very beautiful Naxos. There must be more refreshed and relaxing places to stay.

Everything was very nice

I loved this hotel, the staff are so lovely and helpful. On arrival the room config just wasn’t the best for us and with any problem the man showered us another room that was available that was perfect. The breakfast is made with love and it changed every day. A great mix of classics and Greek specialties. The lady who works on breakfast is such an asset to this hotel. Honestly, you could tell that she takes great pride in her service.

This is a wonderful family run hotel. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful. You feel welcome all the time and you really feel like you are at home. It is close to centre (walk on the beach) but in a quiet area.

What a wonderful hotel. We had a lovely stay. The pool is large and also had a small children’s section. Everything is so clean. Had a nice big room just off from the pool. They also have their own car hire and we hired a car for 3 days. Ava couldn’t have been more helpful. Loved everything about this hotel and was made to feel so welcome. Location is only a short walk to St George beach with great restaurants along boardwalk. Very close to Chora and old town area. Breakfast great and also ate at restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend and definitely would stay again. Thanks for making us feel like part of the family for our 5 night stay

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and the pool was a hit with the kids with how deep it was! The breakfast had a good variety. The room was fine for us staying for 2 nights however I don’t think we would have been very comfortable as it didn’t have a lot of space for 4 people in the room. The hotel was nice and close to the beach, multiple supermarkets and the centre too!

Think some areas are in need of updating/ fixing up a little bit!
