هذه ملاحظات مهمه لتطوير المكان وليست انتقادا لا يوجد تنوع في الافطار . لا يوجد خصوصية في غرفة السويت ( الصاله مفتوحه للجميع ) النوافذ مابين ما لايمكن فتحها من الاساس ومابين التي تحتاج الى صراع كي تُفتح. فوطة الاستحمام مليئة بالبقع . الغرفة العلوية ( penthouse ) تفتقر للأمان حيث يمكن فتح القفل يدوياً من الخارج ولايوجد باب قابل للقفل للغرفة . - لايوجد مكواه في كل غرفة وعلى مايبدو ان المكواة التي تم توفيرها بعد الطلب واحده ولجميع القاطنين ( تم استعادتها لاحقاً ) . - المسبح ليس به خصوصيه رغم انه مذكور خاص بالسويت ولكن كنا نتفاجأ بوجود اشخاص لانعرفهم جالسين على مقاعدة - يتم تسليم مجموعة كبيرة من المفاتيح للنزيل وبعض الغرف مفاتيحها لا تحتوي على الباب الرئيسي ..

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and clean, the bedsheets were fresh every day. The atmosphere was cosy and sophisticated. The staff were professional and polite, and very informative. The fact that there were free books, towels for swimming and body boards made it so much nicer, and easy access to the beach.
Our room’s toilet leaked the whole time so it periodically would refill and that gets annoying after a while.

If it wasn't for Jay I would have asked for a refund as the property owners did some upgrades to the building and wifi. There were drilling noises and vibrations on the walls. If I knew there would be upgrades I would've gone somewhere else. Again, thanks to Jay as he managed this extremely well!

Wir haben von Jay sogar ein Upgrade bekommen, weil die Gärtner vor unserem gebuchten Zimmer gearbeitet haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Während dem leckeren Frühstück konnten wir vorbeischwimmende Delfine beobachten 😍

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Die Lage ist ein Traum. Wir hatten das Appartment im Penthouse. Sehr schön groß und gut aufgeteilt. Zudem eine große Terrasse mit Esstisch, Grill, Loungesofa und zwei Liegen mit Sonnenschirm. Leider konnten wir die aufgrund von viel Regen nicht oft nutzen. Sehr nett war, dass wir unser Frühstück ins Appartment gebracht bekommen haben, da meine Frau wegen einem Knöchelbruch nicht sehr mobil war und der Frühstücksraum zwei Etagen über Treppen unter uns lag. Das Frühstück war für uns okay, es gab jeden Tag einen bunten Obstsalat und Eier wurden frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet, Da auch das Penthouse über eine Treppe vom Eingang erreichbar ist, fanden wir es sehr nett, dass uns die Koffer nach oben und am Ende wieder nach unten gebracht wurden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und auch die Dusche ist toll. Aber am besten ist die Aussicht von der Terrasse wo man den Strand und das Meer vor der Nase hat. Es stimmt, dass man am Mobilar Abnutzung feststellen kann, das kommt viel vom Salzwasser, aber die Renovierung ist bereits im Gang. Es kann danach wieder richtig toll werden.
Die Treppe ist recht steil und man kann sich im Haus nur über Treppen bewegen, da es am Hang gebaut ist. Schwierig, wenn man mit Krücken unterwegs ist. Die Küche sieht auf den ersten Blick gut aus, ist jedoch nicht gut ausgestattet um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Es gibt keinen Topf, nur Pfannen, keine Kochlöffel und wenige stumpfe Messer. Die Mikrowelle lässt sich schwer bis garnicht einstellen und auch der Backofen funktioniert nicht so gut. In der Toilette hat mich besonders die Toilettenbürste gestört, die war schmutzig und wurde nicht getauscht.

Reviewed Jan 24, 2026Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Strand mit privaten Zugang und die Möglichkeit zu Fuß am Strand entlang zum Restaurant zu laufen. Die Villa wunderschön und gut aufgeteilt.
Leider roch es im Zimmer muffig durch die Feuchtigkeit (trotz Entfeuchtergerät im Zimmer) und es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch das Personal beim Frühstück war nicht besonders motiviert und auch nicht herzlich.

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025The location of the Ocean View Guesthouse is brilliant, and Jay the Guesthouse Manager tried really his best. He was very kind and let us check in early.
As we come back in the early afternoon the room unfortunately smelled like sewage as they had the sewage tanks cleaned on that day. The bedsheets were dirty and the blanket / duvet as well. Jay knew about the problem, and that there will be a change of ownership and the current owner does not want to put any further money into the property. Also, the chairs are getting rusty and the house is fallen apart as the owner does not want to invest into it any more With such an amazing property right an the beach you have to maintain it as a lot of salt is in the air.

Leider hatte der nette Besitzer selber Gäste welche eine durchaus laute Party gefeiert haben - das war in dem sehr hellhörigen Haus doch etwas nervig. Insgesamt aber doch eine tolle Unterkunft mit Potential zu kosmetischen Verbesserungen.

Reviewed Dec 7, 2025Prachtige locatie, aan de kust met directe toegang tot het strand. Moderne, strakke villa. Auto is nodig. Fantastische bedden met heerlijk bedlinnen !! Fijne douche. Geluid van de oceaan ‘s nachts was heerlijk. Wij verbleven er 2 nachten en dat was voor ons prima.
Gedoe met slecht passende sleutels van kamer en alle hekken/ deuren.

Zentral gelegen zum nächsten Flughafen in George, nach Knysna, Oudtshoorn und Plettenberg. Einfach toll. Der Chef hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, alles super erklärt und gezeigt.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2025Die Lage direkt am Strand und der wunderschöne Ausblick sind wirklich außergewöhnlich und bleiben das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts.
Leider konnten wir die vielen sehr guten Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Der Sauberkeitsstandard war deutlich unter dem, was wir normalerweise erwarten. Im Zimmer lag ein unangenehmer Geruch – eine Mischung aus Schweiß und starkem Raumspray – der die Nacht sehr unangenehm machte. Auch optisch wirkte die Unterkunft nicht gut gepflegt: Schuhabdrücke auf dem Boden, nicht sauber gereinigte Glasflächen und generell ein Eindruck von Vernachlässigung. Das ist schade, denn das Gebäude hätte wirklich großes Potenzial. Unpraktisch fanden wir zudem, dass man mehrere Schlüssel und Türen passieren musste, um zum Zimmer zu gelangen. Auch der Pool wirkte nicht besonders einladend, da während unseres Aufenthalts ein Reinigungsschlauch quer darüber hing. Die Strandtücher waren ebenfalls schon ziemlich abgenutzt. Beim Frühstück sind wir schließlich nicht geblieben – unter anderem waren die Croissants einzeln in Plastik verpackt, was nicht besonders ansprechend wirkte.

Accessing the room requires going through multiple gates and doors. This requires keeping track of a number of keys and locks. This relay need to be made simpler with a remote or keycard. WiFi was not great had issues trying to stream on my phone or work with a VPN
