Great location in a lovely resort

Fantasic place, great pool. Pool access room was amazing, clean latge room. Bed very comfortable. Close to food and shops.

Arrived and was welcomed by the very friendly staff. I was early and they were able check me in and I was shown to my my suite. The landscape is tropical and lively. My room was spacious and exceeding my expectations. I stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The restaurant has delicious local food options as well as western choices if needed. Vegetarian is also available on the menu. The seafood is very fresh and delicious. I was sad to go, but my adventures took me further south. I will definitely stay again at L'esprit de Naiyang Beach Resort. Wonderful!

It’s worth hotel I stay in Thailand!!! stay away from this place!!! The pool look like a dirty river and their rooms with thousand of animals included 2 inch Ant!!! They not take responsibility of nothing and not answer. Any emails and phone calls.!!!

This resort is perfect— accommodating, friendly, and safe. The staff are wonderful and will help you out with whatever you need whether it’s getting a ride, advising on excursions, or even just a friendly smile. The food for breakfast and the restaurant is super tasty and affordable. They have many options from Thai to international cuisine. The pool area is beautiful, peaceful, and private. The beach, restaurants, and market is a short walk away. You can even walk down the beach to see planes fly in! The rooms itself are more than expected. The staff will clean your room and provide water and new towels daily. The bed is super comfortable and the AC works great. The staff EXCEEDS expectation throughout your stay as well. I will forever hold this experience in my heart, and when I return to Nai Yang one day this is where I will go.

Beautiful villas, great service, excellent food, close to the airport.

We have been coming to this hidden gem of a hotel for years now. The poo villas are so special, private yet you step from the lounge onto the veranda and straight into the pool. The villas are so spacious and homely, 2 minute walk to the beach and another couple of minutes into the main part of Nai Yang. The raft over the river is still there with the same lovely man operating it and if you want to return after 9pm reception will send someone down for you (add their whats app to your phone!) The grounds here are immaculate, staff work so hard and are the most friendly team you could meet. From the reception, to the restaurant, the gardeners and cleaning team and the fabulous cocktail maker at the pool bar! We could never get bored of coming here and it will always be such a special place for us. Nai Yang has always been a great escape from the madness of other areas in Phuket, sadly it is being rapidly overtaken by extremely rude visitors who think they own the place and are building huge tower blocks and hotels. They are ruining Nai Yang, but for now L'Esprit remains a peaceful haven just a short walk away from this!

The stay was amazing the view from the room close to the beach the staff where so nice and accommodating we were treated well thanks to everyone from all the departments excellent place for sure we will come back special thanks to the front desk staff 🙏🙏

The room was very nice and spacious but the remote for the TV did not work, the WiFi was spotty, the water in the shower was cold, and I could tell that the property was in need of maintenance. I only stayed for one night but I wouldn’t book this resort again. It’s also very far from the nightlife and any other activities in Phuket. Convenient for the commute to the airport but besides that, I would consider other options. Plus side is the staff is very welcoming and the property is very safe and beautiful.

Overal , a nice property, and conveniently located the one bedroom suite room we got was nicely arranged and the bed was comfortable, however it was not wheelchair accessible as I expected. The path to the room was rough and had several steps over which I couldn’t get un assisted.the hotel staff helped to get me in an out of the room but that was an inconvenience. Also the bathroom was difficult to get into in a wheelchair an there were no safety bars either by the toilet or in the shower.for that reason I can’t recommend it to people who are using a wheelchair and have difficulty walking . Otherwise it was a pretty nice, well appointed room that people without mobility issues would enjoy.

Such friendly, helpful staff, stunning rooms, stunning pool and beautiful surrounding gardens and trees. The breakfast buffet was a pretty decent price and mix of both western and Thai food. Located just 10 minutes from the airport, but no airport noise, so very convenient to get to after a long flight. It’s in a quiet area that’s got some restaurants, shops and cafes just accross the small river. The area is a bit far away from most attractions though, so I’d suggest staying there for half your trip then moving to a busier area if you’d like to be closer to the action. We had the pool access suite and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. The room was very affordable, beautiful and spacious. It was particularly glorious laying on the sunbeds on our little deck and slipping in and out of the pool whenever we pleased. We enjoyed it so much we went back on our final day. The rooms are very clean, the gardens are well maintained. My only criticism is that the pool needs a serious clean where the sunbeds in the pool are. There was thick, green algae on the steps and sunbeds. It was also very slippery and my partner fell over walking on it. The rest of the experience was flawless though which is why I’m still rating 5 stars overall. We had such an amazing experience and we hope to come back one day! Highly recommend!

Loved this property with excellent customer service and such a beautiful room!

Hotel is very near to the airport and very close to Nai Yang Beach. We also enjoyed our villa which has a pool access. Staffs were very welcoming and ready to help. Great food in the restaurant and loved their cocktails as well. I would recommend this Hotel for those who don’t want crowd and noisy surrounding this Hotel is perfect for you to relax and unwind. Kudos to All staff we had a great stay.

We came here for our honeymoon! The room was absolutely beautiful and we loved the pool. The food at the restaurant was also wonderful. We liked the breakfast buffet - great omelets, fruit, pastries etc. Everyone working at the hotel was kind and helpful. There is a little boat to get over to the beach, and then you walk through a forest to get to the town. I really liked the forest and the walk, it was beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Amazing! A very nice retreat from the huzzle and buzzle. Recommend it strongly, especially the pool villas.

I had booked this property for 6 night but due to medical concerns I couldn’t stay because there was no elevator. I checked out after only one night and was told that I forfeited my entire hotel cost because once you check in you have to stay the course. I think that policy is dumb because circumstances change. The Wi-Fi in the room was TERRIBLE. I moved 3 inches and Wi-Fi would disconnect. When I checked in there was a towel swan on the bed. I thought it was marvelous. I went to take a shower, there were no towels, when I called the front desk they said use the swan that’s your tower. Upon checking out they said if I needed a lower floor I could book a platinum room. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Service in the restaurant was amazing. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again based on hotel policy.

The staff were always helpful

The service was excellent. Stayed one night before our flight home. Rooms are very clean. The pool was one of the dirtiest I have ever seen at a hotel. Bugs and debris floating in it. Algae growing in it as well. There are half full little concrete ponds outside the room that did not work. Perfect for mosquitoes. Food was below average, but they did have a person making omelets. If the pool was cleaned up and the outdoor mats were cleaned it might be ok for 1 night stay.

It was a nice to start the night with pokies helpful staff and, my favorite part, a pretty extensive buffet, lots of options that were tasty. There's a pretty small gym, just your average, treadmills, multi purpose machines and set of dumbbells to 50 lbs, but there were cool walking paths and other areas to explore.

Property is quiet and you feel safe. You can actually come here to relax. You don’t have to worry about droves of people. Transportation isn’t provided at the hotel but grabgo reaches to it. Quick trip to the airport from hotel.

Lovely staff! But property needs some work. Bit odd that you have to get a raft to the beach! Villa dated and not like the photos, broken tiles in the pool and sofa needed replacing, but it was value for money.

This place wasn't the cleanest and our room had an unidentifiable odor (fart?) every time we entered, but the service, food and drinks were excellent. The pool area was nice. You definitely want to get a swim up room. The plunge pool in our room looked sad and dirty. We definitely were not getting in there.

We stayed here for 3 days before flying out and I wish this had been our total holiday destination! Very welcoming very clean the rooms are huge I had a room in the main building with a view right across the Hotel, my daughter and children had a pool access stand alone Room. Sadly my grandson & Daughter got extremely sick both requiring medical intervention and we didn’t get to relax as much as we should have. The breakfast was lovely everything you would need and very fresh, the food poolside is equally as nice there is no reason to leave to be honest. Hats of the who we referred to as the “ferryman” who pulls guests back n forth across the canal by hand such a lovely man. Our only concern would be the loose broken tiles in the pool where I cut my foot! Other than that if we ever come back to Thailand this is where we will stay.

Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. The property appears very unloved, from the unkempt and overgrown grounds, to the very tired villas. After being greeted with a flat stare at reception even though both of us offered a happy hello, to the endless laminated rules, regulations and fine/charges for damage, everything felt quite inhospitable. The aircon and bed in our grand pool villa were good but for the price this is not a great resort and other options in Naiyang are much better value for money.

Considering the price of this resort, the standard of this older establishment is low. The grounds look pretty unloved, with piles of rubbish and debris in between the villa's, near the foyer and general weeds and long grass throughout. When we checked in at reception and said hello, we were greeted with a silent flat stare, He then started to tell us about all the rules, regulations and prices for things if you damage them. The rooms are plastered with laminated rules, damage prices and disclaimers. All this feels very inhospitable. We stayed in a Grand Pool Villa, the decor was very tired and lots of repairs were needed, the lounges were dirty. and mosquitos got in through the gaps in the doors. The front of the villa is open to the footpath so no privacy at all, there was a lumpy piece of artificial turf out the front of the villa with a decaying table and chairs on it, that was the outdoor seating area(and this is their top price villa). The internet was mainly not working, the TV was not working and the sink was blocked. On the positive side, the bed was comfy and the AC worked. It seems like the management have either no eye for detail here or just don't care about the place anymore. If you want a nice place to stay in Naiyang, Proud Phuket or Dewa Resort and villas are much much better value for money. Unfortunately all the negative reviews about this place are right on the money, it's just not very nice and and it's pretty pricey comparatively.

Hotel is great with excellent staff, super helpful. Only issue is the "raft" across the river to get to the beach, this certainly lets the hotel down and needs to be fixed as its not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

This property was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. What I didn’t love is the pool was dirty and needed to be skimmed and they had no way to do that. Kinda ruined it a bit because the room was swim up and the pool and area so pretty. Other than that, it was wonderful.

It was fine but just in need of a little TLC. We have stayed there before and the staff are always lovely.

Quiet from the busy-ness of nai yang but still accessible to the main beach. The place is very good.

Short walk to the beach. Resort was lovely and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. It would be great if there was a bridge to cross over to the beach instead of the raft.

We booked the hotel at short notice and were greeted by staff so nicely and checked in immediately (20 minutes after booking online) our rooms were ready and stunning. Extremely clean. I highly recommend this hotel and the service we received was excellent.

Loved the L’esprit. A tucked away hidden gem. A little removed from the mainstream beach so peaceful. Only neg were no free coffee in lobby. In room was instant. Pool cleanliness was not the best. The “huckleberry raft” to get beach was an adventure. Had to take bolt at night because no lights on path back from town for safety sake But all in all loved it and even brought rest of family and some from wedding party there for last few days of stay. Stayed at this property many times and still love it. Great location just away from the main part of Nai Yang but over the little river on the raft and 2 minute walk into town. Staff are helpful and polite and so friendly, cannot do enough for you. Great villas and pool, excellent food and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!

Helpful staff but wasn't given the room we booked initially. We did swap rooms but still wasn't given the room we booked, but was ok with taking the new room. Very dated resort. Breakfast menu could have some more variety. Food was not kept warm but they did make great poached eggs. Beds were big and the water was hot. Our indoor pool was small but ok to use. Dated and could use some maintenance, but was excellent for cooling off in. Main pool was not maintained as well as what should have been, steps were slippery and algae was present. Lovely people and very pleasant. I would rate resort at a 5 out of 10.

This beautiful resort is tucked away from the beach yet only a short stroll away! We had been travelling for about 5 weeks and after a day here my husband told me I’d become so relaxed so quickly, I looked like a new woman! This place is paradise, the staff are wonderful really kind and considerate, the villas are fabulous and so private even though they open out onto the deck, it felt like we were on a very special holiday! The food was delicious both breakfast and evening meals! I would highly recommend and can’t wait to revisit!

The room was great and had lots of space, it was clean and comfortable. The area is very close to the beach and there is a quiet side where you can relax in peace and there are plenty of places to get food or drinks further up the beach but still within walking distance.

Hotel is not 4 star. Cons We stayed in deluxe pool view room and were very disappointed. Room is large but very tired, mould in shower and rust on shower. Shower not good To get to the beach you have to cross a piece of water on a raft!!! Which stops at 8pm Pro Restaurant was good although expensive Staff very attentive Airport transfer included in price

This resort is a hidden gem!! Very nice staff and very beautiful property

We had ultimate privacy and it was so beautiful it felt like a second honeymoon! The private pool was great, the surroundings are spectacular and just yards from the beach. There aren’t a lot of food options because it is a distance from civilization but the restaurant food was so good! The Thais are famous for their hospitality and Le’Spirit was no different.

The birds singing every morning. The unique raft crossing the can on walk to beach. the staff went out of their way to help with requests. I wanted to get my hair braided and they called the salon and made appt for me. Great stay!

We loved our stay at the pool swim up villa. Yes, the hotel is a little dated, but it is nicely remodeled and surrounded by the beautiful greenery. The villa is nicely updated, very clean and spacious. The bed could be a little more comfortable.

Complementary pickup at the airport did not go smoothly. But they did come eventually. Otherwise the hotel was great and I enjoyed the location.

The staff are definitely the best! No resquest is too much. We loved our stay here. The resort is lovely. We stayed in a private pool villa for the privacy.There's a spacious separate bedroom and lounge. A massive bath/jacuzzi with separate shower. It's a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, massage operators and shops. We took our laundry to get washed after breakfast, 80thb per kilo and it was ready later that evening when we returned for a feed at one of the many restaurants there by the beach. The only critique about our villa is that some things needs a bit of maintenance but overall we had the best time! It would be lovely to return with our kids & grandkids!

Loved the private pool villa. Room and pool were excellent. Beach was pretty dirty and not much to do outside of a very tiny village nearby. Was perfect for us as we landed late and didnt want to do the 1 hour drive into phuket after a long flight.

Had a very peaceful stay in our villa. Minutes away from the beach. Easy trip across a small creek with help from resort staff. Tons of good eating with beach seating!

We had a great stay. Very friendly staff, good food in the restaurant including the breakfast. It is a cozy and relaxing Hotel, 5 min walk in to the small village. There is a river that runs just outside the Hotel and where there is a very simple wooden raft that is run by Hotel staff. The river is only 10 meters wide or so, so not a real problem. The only thing is that if you get back to the Hotel after 9 PM, you need to call the Hotel to send someone out to the raft to take you over the river. For us it was never a real issue since we were never out on the town very late anyway:-) Again, we can really recommend this Hotel.

On their website, L’esprit De Naiyang Beach Resort promises the following: To offer an intimate, private comfortable accommodation. The Resort is a perfect destination for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, or relaxation retreat from your busy world. This is false and deceptive advertising! The accommodations were not comfortable as they promised. The actual accommodations look different from the photos they have online. The hotel and the rooms are very old and outdated! Here are the reasons why you should not stay here: 1) You can't flush toilet paper down the toilet. So when you go to the bathroom, you have to wipe your butt and put the toilet paper in the waste basket, which will stink up the whole bathroom and room. 2) After you shower, the water and suds do not drain because the drain is clogged. It leaves a very musty smell. 3. The lack of privacy- they offer curtains in the room, but the curtains are sheer so you can see through to your neighbor's villa when the light is on. Our neighbors could look through our villa and see right into our bedroom because there are no curtains in the bedroom. 4. The bed sheets were stained and dirty. 5. The location is very far from Phuket Town and other areas. There is a lot of traffic now around the island. 6. You needed to take a raft to cross over to get to the very brown beach. After we expressed our frustrations and concerns to the front desk, they didn't do anything about it. They were apathetic and would not refund us after we canceled our reservation. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

I’ve been doing volunteer work for the past 8-weeks in Southeast Asia and was rather looking forward to my 3-day, 4-night stay at L’esprit for rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. The room was rather comfortable, the pool attached to the room was dirty with foliage but suitable for a little swim, the breakfast wasn’t anything special but had enough variety, and the staff was kind. However, because of my previous traveling, I was desperate for laundry! So I used the hotel laundry service… BIG mistake. The laundry service took almost 24 hours and my items came back either damaged or missing. I hadn’t traveled with much, and my one nice skirt I was hoping to wear that evening came back with a sizable rip in it. When I brought it up to the front desk, they did get right on it to send it for repair but I mentioned I wasn’t comfortable paying for the laundry service because of the damage and that concern wasn’t addressed. Then when I was packing, I realized another article of clothing was missing. I contacted the staff again and through a bit of frustrating communication, they were able to track it down. They said they’d bring it to my room that evening and I waited 3 hours before finally going to bed as I had an early flight the next morning. The clothing was finally returned to me in the morning but without communication from the staff the previous evening. I sent a message to the hotel service very kindly explaining my frustration and that I was uncomfortable paying for the service, as it was done very poorly… No response. When I was handed my bill at the front desk that morning, I attempted to explain to the front desk staff the situation and that again, I didn’t think it right to be charged for the service and would like it taken off the bill. Or at the very least to be understood in my frustration over the poor service… The front desk staff tried to handle it by making a call, which was short and didn’t seem to address my concern. He said he was unable to do anything about it and again handed me the full bill. As I had to catch my flight, I reluctantly paid the full bill and left the experience feeling stressed, disappointed, and defeated. All of this to say, the communication between staff seems very poor in regard to guest issues. And there does not seem to be anyone to speak with who can truly handle issues that arise. This is less of an issue but just paints the picture clearer of the poor communication… On top of the disappointing laundry service, I was also told I would be provided a breakfast box to go that morning, as it was included in my stay as a paid service. I was not provided this, thus I also paid for a service I wasn’t given. I’m left very disappointed with my stay and am frustrated to have paid for a quality stay and met with a poor one. I won’t be staying at L’esprit again and would be very hesitant to recommend it to anyone, at least when it comes to trusting your items to be dealt with care or your time to be free from frustration. I’m happy to see from other reviews that not everyone’s experience was as poor as mine… and hope that if you stay at L’esprit, that your stay goes without concern.

The room itself is clean and comfortable. Service is good. The hotel is kind of aged. Big pool but water looks dirty. Dont see anyone cleaning the pool during my stay there. The pool chair is dirty and old. There is only 1 restaurant and food is expensive and not tasty at all. The so call beach is dirty. You have to take a raft to cross a dirty ririver/canal and walk a short distance to get to the beach. Hotel is in a remote area and you definitely needs a car to stay here.

Not bad for a first night’s you want to be close to the airport. Breakfast was ordinary. Old resort.
