Naiyang Park Resort

Naiyang Park Resort is currently a construction site with noisey power tools going all day. Stayed here in 2024 and came back in 2025 because it used to be good - a lot can change in 12 months! Booked a deluxe bungalow months in advance and was given a standard room 13. Senior reception staff were dismissive and disrespectful. Ironically they can afford to renovate, but can’t be bothered to replace their rag stained towels. Weak wifi keeps dropping off. The place is infested with mosquitoes. Don’t rely on historical outdated positive reviews - such a shame they’ve destroyed what used to be a delightful place 😱

The resort was a little outdated, which made it quirky in a way. However, there was a lot of building work in progress and early in the morning it was quite noisy. The staff were amazing though. The housekeeping was a bit haphazard and my towels had holes in them. The park it was situated in was anazing abd donoeaceful. The airport shuttle only operated between 07:00 - 19:00, do I had to make my own way to the resort. The the whole though, I would go back.

I’ve stayed at this resort a few times, and it never seems to disappoint. Quiet, wonderful facilities close to the beach and very comfortable. I will definitely return again.

Absolutely loved this place, so much so that we came back 3 times during our trip to Thailand. We used it as our base to travel to and from Krabi and enjoy day trips to phi phi. It’s right near the airport so we stayed on first night, in the middle and last night. The staff were so welcoming every time we turned up and couldn’t have done enough for us. The location is amazing and the bungalows are built in the jungle area. Beautiful swimming pool and beach just in front. I’d recommend staying here and we’ve told many people on our travels about this little gem.

Just a one night stay, but

Not much night life around or any activity really around the area. They could not find my booking at first but that was resolved within 15 minutes. The area seemed to be under construction, some trees were cut down. Overall an okay place to spend the night, not my favorite place in Thailand. I’d recommend staying at a different location altogether.

Close to the shore

Fantastic location on the beach. Would recommend and stay again, very local feel with nice big clean rooms and great bed and amenities

Overall staff was pleasant. Is not convenient to tourist type activities or shopping. Breakfast choices were limited but doable for the cost. Very poor air-conditioning. Liked the 'cabana like' setting for the rooms. very private. Room was nice except for the aforementioned air-condition. Failed at promised airport transfer. Had to pay a taxi 400 baht and the hotel did nothing. Very upsetting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Naiyang Park Resort. The staff was friendly. The property was beautiful, as was the room. The food was delicious. And the location can't be beat!

This resort really impressed us. Firstly they upgraded us to a bigger room for free without us asking which was very generous of them. The resort rooms are beautiful and appear to be recently renovated. This is a fantastic place for families as they have a great pool and nice restaurant while being close to the airport and walking distance from a very fun beach (5 minute walk). The beach has tons of restaurants, exchanges, shopping marts, and a nightclub. The only possible complaint I could come up with is their billiards table is in desperate need of an update. Other than that the people were extremely kind and even gave us a free transfer to our next hotel. We definitely will be staying here next time as the price value is one of the best in Phuket! Also their food is delicious and they have room service which was fantastic. Could not recommend this resort or the people more!

Good location

The property was lovely. The beach area was not as clean as some of the other Thailand beaches. Staff at the property were amazing and the breakfast had a great variety.

‼️READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING – BED BUGS! ‼️ If it were possible to give zero stars, we would. We were excited to stay at this resort, but upon arrival, we discovered bed bugs crawling on the pillow, mattress, and bed sheets in our first room. We immediately reported this to reception. After inspecting the room, they agreed to move us to another one. Unfortunately, the second room also showed clear signs of a bed bug infestation, including eggs attached to the mattress seams. We reported this again, but the staff showed no real concern or apology. Their only response was that the hotel was fully booked. We requested a refund, but the hotel refused and told us to take it up with the booking partner — who, in turn, has not intervened. What should have been a wonderful trip to Thailand turned into a nightmare. The staff showed no empathy or effort to resolve the situation. Moreover, this resort claims to be certified under SHA Extra Plus, which guarantees top quality and safety standards. Based on our experience, this certification appears to be a complete scam. Please! Check your rooms, beds, curtains when staying here, unless you want to take home a lovely souvenir. 🪳

We had a booking for 2 nights before flying home. When we turned up to check in we were told that our reservation was cancelled by a rather rude male. He first said we cancelled it. No we didn't. Then he said Bookings did. No they didn't. We found on our phone that the hotel did. No comment from the male except that they were fully booked out. That proved later to be a complete lie. Apparently our ccv needed to be updated so they sent us an email when we were at 35000 ft on our way to Thailand and gave us 6 hours to fix. Needless to say that was impossible. Can we update it now? No reply except to say we are fully booked. If you're thinking of visiting Naiyang Beach I would thoroughly recommend you stay any where else but this place. We walked next door, received great friendly service and had a better room within 15 min. That's after spending 2 hrs looking at a non responsive, unhelpful waste of space that should not be in a job like that. PLEASE read the other honest reviews and don't make the same mistake that we did. No raised voices, but we were still ignored and lied to.

The bungalows are basic but good and the staff are very delightful.

The property itself is simple but so cozy. Delicious food. The beach is just across the street. Wonderful experience.

The accommodation was lovely, however we did leave early as we wanted to be closer to the main town. The beach by the accommodation was appalling, so much rubbish and filth. Very disappointed by the beach but not the accommodations fault.

Great little hidden gem just 5 minutes from the airport in Naiyang national park. Even though it's so close to the airport you cannot hear the planes. Situation on a quiet bay with beachside bars and restaurants - like Bang Tao beach was 20 years ago - its a great relaxed vibe. Two convenience stores a 5 minute walk away and with restaurant, pool, and bar onside along with a small gym it has everything. Rooms are spacious with a large bathroom and small seated balcony / outside space. Boss bar has great cocktails. Would definitely stay again.

It was such an amazing place just to relax

Great location within very short drive from phuket airport made this hotel perfect for our 4 nights. Breakfast was great especially freshly cooked omelet i requested every morning. Pool temperature was great too. Towels for pool and rooms could have done with an upgrade as they were looking abit shabby. Air-conditioning unit was rather noisy during the night however these few things wouldn't stop me from returning. The bonus was airport pickup. People were friendly too. Rooms were bungalow style which was lovely. Happy to recommend.

A tired, run down property with a lot of areas in need of an update.

I was only at the resort 1 night, but it was a lovely place to rest before kicking off my Thai tour. It is very close and convenient to the Phuket airport.

Quiet resort , Love the gardens surrounding this hotel, rooms great size, bathroom great size shower was fantastic , very basic decor needs refresh , pool was big mostly we liked this place how ever it is in need off a good tart up and new gym equipment or at minimum a repair on most items stayed for 6 days

This was the perfect way to end our trip to Thailand. The resort is peaceful and beautiful. The beach with amazing sunsets is only a few steps away. I will absolutely stay again.

We loved the natural feel of our hut with the greenery around all windows. Very accessible walk to the beach through the shady trees and just far enough from the bustling activity to feel more relaxed.

Generally a great place to stay after a long flight. I arrived wanting a shower only to have to contend with no hot water. I hate complaining because Thai people do their best to accommodate their tourists but it was disappointing to have to ask for hot!

Everything you expect and nothing you don't

The experience was satisfactory. However, it would be appreciated if the pillowcase and bedsheet were changed during room cleaning, as the current bedsheet has stains. Additionally, the recycled bottle water had mildew. A toilet upgrade would also be beneficial, as the current one emits a strong urine odor, which is unpleasant. Furthermore, the entrance area has a potent sewage smell.

This is our 4th stay at this resort. We find the beds very comfortable, rooms clean and spacious. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Pool area clean and tidy, bar is not always maned but you can walk to main bar to place order. Boss bar good food, drink and band playing every night. Location is good beach is across the road, shops and restaurants a short walk down road. Over all it’s quite lovely greenery and relaxing - just what we wanted.

Close to 711. The location is unique as it gives gives you the vibe you’re in a jungle.

We had an excellent stay at this resort for 4 days. The staff are very kind, responsive and will do anything possible to make your stay pleasant. Large size rooms, kept clean every day. Good breakfast with lots of choices both western and Asian food. We used the pool a few times and it was mostly quiet and clean. The whole resort is in general in a very quiet location, although within a 5-10 minute walk from lots of street food options. Overal I totally recommend this place.

I had to wait over an hour and a half to get the hotel transportation, which had not arrived. I then had to get a taxi to get to the property. It was their misunderstanding. They did apologize.

Nai Yang Park Resort is a 5 minute drive from Phuket airport and the perfect place to relax and unwind after a very long flight. Make this place your first stop before exploring Phuket. Traditional bungalows surrounded by lush tropical gardens, great pool, good restaurant, and less than 100 meters from the beautiful beach. The rooms are clean with very comfortable linen and beds. We loved the ability to login to Netflix and watch all of our favourite shows. The only drawback is no usb ports in the rooms for your phone so make sure you bring your own charger.

Beautiful lush property in national park

Good: We generally liked our stay at Nai Yang park resort. It was quiet and peaceful. My family loved the swimming pool facilities and the breakfast option was good. Bad: However, our pleasant stay had a disappointing leave during the checkout when the front desk lady showed attitude and charged us 100 bahts for one missing small spoon (have a picture of the charges). Watch out: As a vegetarian, our breakfast options in the resort were quite limited. I appreciate the gesture where the restaurant prepared a bowl of vegetable fried rice to help us out.

Beautiful setting near beach and park trails. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. Very pleasant and capable staff.

The pool is great, but the receptionist we dealt with during the stay was rude. - Room smelt musty and mouldy. - We charged drinks to our room while at the pool during happy hour, and were not provided with the happy hour price. Nui said this is policy for items charged to rooms. - We booked a room for our final night, as we had to be at the airport by 8pm. We arrived at 2pm to check in for our 5 hour stay, and were told we would need to pay an additional THB1,000 (aud $50 approx) to allow the third person in our party to put her suitcase in our room. Nui said the cost the leave the suitcase in the lobby would be THB500. Each interaction with her was frustrating and disappointing, making the musty room and worn-out hotel so unwelcoming that I would strongly recommend against staying here.

Had a wonderful stay….

As others have said, I also arranged to be collected from the airport but they weren’t there… seems a common theme with them to not bother showing up. The rooms were large but very dingy and dark. No natural lighting at all. If the air con was off, the water runs down the walls and everything is damp and wet. I made the mistake of getting clothes washed by the hotel thinking that they would charge similar to all the others in the area .. NO THEY ABSOLUTELY RIP YOU OFF AND DONT CARE WHEN YOU QUESTION IT. I’m talking ridiculous prices. Owner just said ‘hotel price’ as if this made it ok. I would never stay here again. Just out to make as much money out of you as possible. So many other nicer places to stay in Naiyang. Also, the bottled water they supplied, had mould on the caps.

Nice airport hotel - we stayed one night before flying from Pucket airport - could have stayed 2 nights - small town nearby and beach. Bungalows were nice all made of wood raised above the ground. Resort on boardwalks. Bar on sight where live music was played. Rooms comfortable but showers very temperamental and we struggled to get them hot which was a real problem. Would not have wanted to stay more than a couple of nights.

This is a (not so) hidden gem!!

This is a wonderful resort located very close to the airport. It’s across from a beautiful beach but there is a lot of litter around. You can keep walking to several more nice spots though. The pool was very nice! We liked this resort because its away from the very touristy places.

Nice leafy property across from the beach. Very close to the airport but still feels very quiet. Many beach restaurants and stalls a 10 min walk at the other end of the beach.

Calm and clean

Nice room, beautiful gardens, lovely pool. Great cleaning service. The only negative thing was that the free airport shuttle didn’t turn up as pre arranged, which was pretty annoying after an overnight flight. We sent messages on Bookings while we were waiting but no one answered. Had to get a taxi instead.

Nice place to stay before your flight. Beautiful clean and spacious rooms. An easy walk to other restaurants and street food. Walk out the front entrance and turn left. Everything you could need only 500 meters away. The beach is across the road. Nice pool big enough to do laps. While we were there they had live music in the restaurant

We stayed here for 1 night before flying from Phuket airport, and were very happy , convenient if you’re flying the next day as it’s very close to airport and the hotel even offer a free service to the airport! Rooms,pool and gym were lovely. Nice big spacious shower and bathroom! Only thing that stopped it being 5* was the restaurant as the food wasn’t great,although I reccomend the vanilla milkshake!!

Beautiful surprise. Booked here 1 night to be close for my early flight - as soon as I arrived I wished I had come earlier. Quiet beach Great pool The restaurant staff were great! Bed was a little hard - if I was there longer I would’ve asked for something to soften the mattress. Only downside - not a massive issue just annoying when you’re travelling - no powers outlets by the bed and no outlets adapted for international plugs Lucky I always carry one however just a little bit of feedback The venue is gorgeous!

We had a short stay as this property is very convenient to the airport. The hotel shuttle service was easy and reliable. We did enjoy the pool and the beach which was located accross the street.

The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The pool and surrounds were a big feature and the beach was across the road which was convenient. The staff could have been more cooperative when I needed to shower and change after using the pool after check out. The change room had no air condiining or a powerpoint for a hairdryer which made it uncomfortable when preparing for my flight.

This is a lovely resort set in a tropical garden very thai style with lots of wood and greenery. The pool is a great size and you can sit on the sunbeds and relax. There is a massage area and what looks like a very well planned gym. The room is a great size, comfy with a large modrern impressive bathroom. Theres a pool bar and also 'Boss Bar' with a sunset view and lovely cold beers at a good price. All the staff were very welcoming. We stayed 2 nights, 2 rooms and found a secret door between both our balconies ! We were so impressed with everything at a very reasonable price. Location is fantastic and we will be back.

This is the second time staying at this resort. The rooms are very large, comfortable, quiet and set among nice landscaping and property. Right across from the beach, and on-site restaurant. I definitely will come back again.

The property has been upgraded very well. It still needs areas of improvement such as the decking but its a beautiful hotel. Outside the hotel contains far too much rubbish and wouldnt take much to make ngaiyang a much prettier area. The rubbish near the road to town is shocking and brings down the rating, its just a depressing walk to nearby shops.

Convenient to the beach and airport. Aircon didn’t work well though. Good airport shuttle. Good value.

lots of little cottages the one in the pic looks like our room. its very dated but the facilities are very good gym swimming pool and restaurent. bit lacking in veg but I thought it was ok. and the staff were very nice. down the road in pearl village there is a old grumpy lady that sells ginger cmoothy have that its very yummy. Thai people are generally very very nice. and the market round the corner and the little bakery shop I thought was very nice

Lovely Hotel close to the beach with some great Restaurants within easy walking

Very large and comfortable rooms with excellent staff. It has breakfast buffet and restaurant on site. Really nice pool area, wonderful property and gardens.

Lovely quiet and peaceful

Rooms are spacious and clean. Set among the lush gardens. Seats & table outside on verandah. Aircon worked well. Bathroom & shower is huge and well stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was great - a mixture of Thai style dishes and western options. Bacon, egg station, sausages, baked beans, toast, dim sum, croissants, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, waffles, salad, yoghurt, fruit salad + about 8 Thai options per day (pad Thai, curries, rice, stir fries). Best coffee of the trip too! Pool is large enough for everyone, it has a spa and a fenced off shallow area for smaller children. Plenty of day beds and shade. Bar in pool area and can order food from restaurant. 7am-7pm access Gym is well equipped and all in working condition. 7am-7pm access Onsite day spa was great. Would recommend. Beach directly opposite is very clean and much quieter as there's less accommodation in the national park. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Some have better English than others but didn't have any problems with communication. Onsite bar and restaurant. Live music at night. Very quiet, no airport noise. Main walking street approx 4 minute walk away. Beach style dining, restaurants, bars, massages, convenience store etc. Showers were cold on occasion but not an issue in the heat. 2 room keys would be appreciated.

While in the spa having a massage, there’s blaring music just outside that began midway through my massage, also on my last day there’s no water in the resort. I came from long day of island hoping and desperately needed a shower, but no water. I made do with bottle to wash all the bare necessities.

Close to the Phuket airport yet has a secluded resort feel. Steps to the beach. Great restaurant selection and market within walking distance. They provide a convenient shuttle to the airport too.

The staff were extremely rude and abrupt. On leaving they summoned us like criminals about slippers that were never present in the room. I was most disappointed with the treatment and let it be know how upset they made us feel. Never I. My life have I been accused of stealing let alone a pair of hotel slippers which are reused no less!

Definitely the service wasn’t up to the Thai standards, but not even to the acceptable levels, especially upon checking out. The arrival was quite ok. Nothing special to say. We got a very far away room, with no view. We stayed one night so it was ok. The room was overall good, it had everything we needed. The resort itself was very nice, full of green and trees. We had the first issue during the evening: after we went to sleep we heard a strong sound. We couldn’t locate it at first, so we called the reception at 23:15 to explain the problem and basically she didn’t care. I thought someone was coming to check but as 10 minutes passed, I called again. And told her that this time we managed to locate the source of the sound which was the smoke detector (probably low on batteries). She asked me 2 times if we smoked (I never smoked and this wasn’t a good question to ask as the sound was clearly not after a smoke detection). Anteater this time a guy came and with w ladder removed the smoke detector. All this process took around 40 minutes. The only person who apologized for the inconvenience was the guy with the ladder. The breakfast was ok, passable but nothing special. But a special note goes to the lady of the check out who didn’t smile once, didn’t ask us how we stayed but most surprising she didn’t even say “goodbye”. The good thing was the free pick up for the airport and the guy who brought us there was very nice. Suggestion: improve the customer service at the reception.

Great location and yet still feels secluded

Great location if you want to enjoy Phuket and avoid the Phuket traffic at the same time. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Mediocre. Airport shuttle stops at 7:00pm / 19:00. Made it a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was below par. Room was nice. Big shower. Ac worked. Stingy with water.

This place is beautiful and right in front of the ocean is very safe and quiet, the staff was very friendly. 💯 recommended. there are many restaurant and stores very close within 5 minutes walk. Definitely will stay here again.
