The Beachcroft Hotel, BW Signature Collection

We travelled to the area for a wake at the hotel and this was very well organised by the hotel staff. Reception staff are helpful and friendly.

On arrival we were allocated Room 58. I think we were allocated this room as we had requested a walk-in shower which it had. However, the room itself was so old fashioned, dark, small and to be honest drab. We were totally shocked. Shannon at Reception was exceedingly helpful in allocating us another room which was so much better - like staying in a different hotel. Many issues need to be addressed regarding the breakfast service. Totally unorganised and unprofessional on both mornings. The guests in our party were all having cooked breakfasts but I wanted just toast as my breakfast. The cooked breakfasts took such a long time to be served and all I wanted was my toast. After enquiring so many times (both mornings) it was getting ridiculous.

Area information, the leaflets are not exposed by the reception,we only discovered them on the corner while passing to the toilet! Perhaps people don't look at them anymore? I gues our gen still do,and that many guests were that age

Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, very attentive staff, can’t praise all the staff from cleaners to reception enough. I hurt my knee and they managed to find me a walking stick.

I can walk up my stairs at home, so I thought I would be ok with a room two floors up but I was wrong, I think more warning that they get steeper. A lift would be a good idea!

Was a bit too expensive for what it was. We arrived slightly early and our room was ready, but we're told we'd need to pay an early check in fee. Bit annoying as we were going straight out to a party which meant we then had to call a number to check in post-10pm.

The food and service at the Beachcroft are exceptional. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. the location is perfect and I would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel isn’t very accessible in that there is no lift but for people with mobility difficulties there are a couple of ground floor rooms

The room was a good size & lovely sea view. It was great to listen to the sea lapping whilst lying in bed. The water pressure was really good even though I was on the 2nd floor. The staff were friendly & helpful & the breakfast was lovely.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The evening meal in the restaurant was very good. The bar was well stocked. Parking availability was good.

The outside seating was very uncomfortable. The room furnishings were old and tired with rotting and torn curtain linings which were badly stained. The bath leaked and did not have hot water having to use the shower to fill the bath.

Das Frühstück muss komplett bestellt werden, nur Säfte und Obst als „Bufett“. Das bestellte Frühstückt war lecker (Porridge, Toast mit Ei, Croissant, gemischtes Toast). Der Ausblick auf die See war toll! Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche modern und schön. Zimmer(chen) mit Etagenbett recht klein und ohne Fenster.

Parkplätze begrenzt und sehr eng (keine wirkliche Wendemöglichkeit). Schwimmbad hätte sauberer sein können. Etwas befremdlich - Balkon durfte nach 22 h nicht mehr genutzt werden (Schild mit Hinweis an jedem Balkon) - auch nicht, wenn man leise ist.

Liked it all. Especially the breakfast service and the pool. It was hot during our visit, but that's not controlled by the hotel. Appreciated the car parking.

Gute Lage zum Meer und Kieselstrand, allerdings ist die nähere Umgebung sehr ruhig und mehr ältere Leute im Hotel. Es ist sehr schön dort, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und bemüht. Den Pool kann man nach einer Reservierung für sich privat nutzen. Für uns zur Durchreise ein schöner, ruhiger Stopp. Die Pizza auf der Sonnenterasse mit Meerblick am Abend war auch lecker. Nach unserem kurzen Stopp würden wir allerdings nicht dort den ganzen Urlaub verbringen, sondern es eher als Ruhebasis zur Durchfahrt oder Standort für Ausflüge nutzen. Super süß waren die Geschenke für die Kinder auf dem Zimmer. Auch ein kleiner Balkon mit Meerblick ist an das Familienzimmer angeschlossen.

An dem Hotel selbst gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Etwas zu teuer im Preis Leistungsverhältnis durch die ruhige Umgebung.

Today me and my husband popped down to the beach terrace for a couple of drinks and was served by Keira who was very lovely and looked after us and most importantly the dog !

breakfast was included in the price we paid and was excellent. free parking. we have stayed here before and love the location and and local village cafes and pubs.

we wanted to eat at the hotel, but unfortunately it was fully booked in the evening. It would have been nice to know that residents need to book for dinner before we arrived.

Without a doubt the nicest hotel staff I have ever come across. The girls on reception were exceptional! We stayed in the penthouse and which was fab lots of space and very comfortable. Right on the beach great view from the balcony.

Great staff (I mean genuinely nice proper people), parking was easy too and the location is second to none

Rooms are a bit tired. Cleaning could be improved and the sound insulation wasn’t great. My main point of gripe is my room seemed to be above a staff smoking area or kitchen smoking area and thusly there was a lot of noise and cigarette smoke at about 2200 or 2300.

What a lovely find, we were on route to Brighton and another hotel cancelled on us last minute. This little gem of a place thankfully had a room. Possibly the nicest staff we hav ever come across and we stay in a lot of hotels,,,, each and every one of them went above and beyond to make us and our two small children feel welcome!

Spur of the moment decision as see a dog friendly hotel close to beach - was very positively surprised - it’s just next to the beach and very friendly staff. Beach bar offered simple food, we have not tried restaurant as that was one of the areas not accessible with dog but looked good as well. Note not all room are dog friendly - only those with terrace on ground floor; you also need to pay extra £27 for dog but you get dog kit and dog breakfast. We had a dinghy and SUP so location next to the almost empty beach was great.

We recently stayed in one of the modern, beautifully designed beach huts to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for a wonderfully relaxing few days. The thoughtful welcome touches made the occasion even more special, with roses and rose petals, towels beautifully arranged into hearts on the bed, cake waiting for us, and complimentary drinks chilled in the fridge. We were fortunate to enjoy glorious weather during our stay, and the recently installed air conditioning was a fantastic addition. The bi-fold doors opened onto the private patio, which we kept open whenever we were in the beach hut, allowing us to enjoy the warm sunshine and the calming sound of the waves throughout the day. Watching both the sunrise and sunset from our accommodation was simply unforgettable. Although the beach hut is situated close to the promenade, we actually enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, with early morning joggers and dog walkers often stopping to say hello or exchange a few words. Having a continental breakfast delivered directly to the hut each morning made for a wonderfully relaxed start to the day. We also made full use of the complimentary bicycles, cycling from one end of the beachfront to the other. The private swimming pool booking system was another excellent feature, allowing guests to reserve the pool for exclusive half-hour sessions, making the experience feel even more luxurious. Dinner in the hotel each evening was excellent, and throughout our stay nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. We would especially like to thank Carla, who was incredibly helpful and informative from our very first enquiry through to booking our stay. Ellie was wonderful in arranging our swimming and dinner reservations, and Maisey/Laicee ensured our beach hut was beautifully prepared and so welcoming on arrival. Their attention to detail and exceptional customer service made our anniversary celebration truly memorable. Our stay was exactly what we needed to escape our busy work schedules, and we left feeling completely refreshed. We stayed at the beach huts which we were upgraded to from the normal hotels which delighted us. From the lovely complimentary cookies to the beautiful seafront which had a majestic sunsets and sunrises. The rooms were very clean which was up to our satisfaction and the atmosphere were was very calm and peaceful with no noise or disturbance whatsoever. We had booked a night at the Beachcroft Hotel, as a last stay during our visit to South England, but were pleasantly surprised when we were told by the friendly hosts of the Beachcroft Hotel that we had received a free upgrade to one of their Beach Huts. The Beach Hut was simply amazing. Clean, well equipped and decorated, and with a terrace with a view of the beach and the surrounding area. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely visit again.

Fabulous location and accommodation…. I would highly recommend. Luxury beach hut, lots of room and amenities. Extra bonus being part of the hotel, so lots of benefits there also. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - couldn’t fault them. We will be back!

I have stayed here a few times on business and will never stay again - I booked a room for £185. Paid in full and tried to cancel with a 6 days notice - they refused to give me any refund. I understand is it was 50% or 75% refund - but to refuse a full refund of almost £200 with almost a weeks notice is plain robbery!! BE WARNED !!!

Breakfast, there was a very good choice. Everything cooked perfect and hot, also great choice of fruit, juices etc.

Caitlin at the front desk went out of her way to make our experience comfortable and enjoyable. She's wonderful. All the staff were very accommodating even though they were very busy. We gave up our room for an older gentleman who needed a ground floor room and we were able to move into a more expensive room without breaking the bank entirely. I left an item behind and they found it and sent it back to me very promptly. Angus in the bar is lovely too.

The beach view 'cabins' are overpriced for what they are but our experience was wonderful and the view is great.

This was our 4th stay this year and, as usual, we had a fabulous time at the hotel which has amazing sea views and a lovely indoor pool. The staff are so friendly and very good at what they do whether it’s reception, restaurant/bar or housekeeping. They made a huge fuss of our dog which was kind of them and provided a sausage daily for her at breakfast! The human breakfasts are plentiful, lots to choose from and endless teas/coffees. We also enjoyed pizzas on the outdoor terrace one evening as well as lazy coffees during the day. Our room was great for our dog as it had a cool terrace. Special mention to Kate & Laia in the restaurant and Ellie & Shannon at reception who all provided excellent service to us. Thanks very much.

We loved that the hotel was beside the beach The Polish chef was FANTASTIC. We dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent. He made a Vegan Wellington dish wish was top class. My husband had ribs and he said they were the best he'd ever tasted. Our Bathroom was Clean Hotel had Free Car park You got to have POOL all to yourself

When we walked into our King size , sea view room (no balcony) it smelt terrible & it was so hot. We opened window which helped. There was no aircon, but they did have 2 fans in the room. A used Avian Bottle of Water was left on the dressing table half drank and there was tissue paper on floor beside the bin. It was my birthday & hotel kindly left a card & slice of cake, uncovered on a slate on the table in our room- but we couldn't understand why they didn't simple leave a fork/spoon, plates, few napkins, so we cud eat it?? I didn't eat the cake as it was left out uncovered in a very hot room. The clothes railing in one of the cupboards was on the floor , which we simple hooked back on the screw. WE only could book the pool for 30minutes no longer. Our room was definitely not worth the £201 we paid for the night, but the fantastic food and staff were very kind /helpful.

We were a party of 11 and a half! Celebrating my very good friends 98th birthday.. I rarely write reviews but I am doing so on this occasion because I thought our waiter, Alex was exceptional. It makes a pleasant change to meet such a personable young man, who was willing to interact with everyone in our party. No mean feat with ages ranging from 2 to 98 years! I did commend him personally before we left. I would rate the food at 6 out of 10 and the service 10 out of 10.. although the garden peas were sublime...

I was in room 26 - the people in the next room had their tv on to watch the World Cup - Scotland game. I heard all the goals at 2am even though I did not wish to listen to the football and wanted to sleep. . The walls between rooms need soundproofing. I appreciate that food prices are increasing BUT £9.00 for desserts in the restaurant is excessive. £9.00 for two small scoops of ice cream is frankly a disgrace. Even 5* restaurants in London do not charge those prices. (I am from London). Also £20.00 for a thick sliced sandwich on the terrace is excessive. The bread was far too thick like a door stop. I appreciate that the location of the Beachcroft is its biggest selling point as are the staff but but the above issues need improving.

It was convenient to where we wanted to be

It is quite old now and although it appeared to have had a small makeover since our last stay the flooring was quite precarious in places. The breakfast was absolutely awful. I ordered poached eggs and I was very suspicious when it arrived in super quick time. This was because it had not been cooked to order, the toast was cold and hard and the eggs were lukewarm and hard. Obviously previously cooked and kept waiting for someone to order.

I would say everything. The location was next to the beach . And the view from the beach view was so stunning. Hearing the beach sound was so calming

I went to the beachfront for a drink and I had a lovely waitress called Kate who was very friendly. Went into the hotel to use the facilities and got lost but was then greeted by maisie g who directed me to the toilets and was very positive and polite 5 star rating for them both good job girls thankyou

Stayed in one of the beach houses with my 2 sisters. Beautifully furnished and very clean. Fabulous location on the sea front. Great private pool session, fab restaurant and indoor and outdoor bars at attached hotel. Enjoyed the Free cycle hire. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Shannon, Carla and Philip on the front desk were so welcoming and gave lots of imformation and tips for our stay. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel, which has free parking for residents, is right by the beach. Lovely location, can't fault it. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. No lift, so if you have mobility issues, ask for a ground floor room. It is not easy getting into the bath to have a shower either, so ask about this before booking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a very quiet fan if needed. You need to use Google maps to find this hotel!

Location waa fantastic and unbeatable

The shower was very poor for this level of hotel and cost.It wss over a bath and had hardly any power . The windiw had venetian blinds omky and the light came through the slats as there was no other windiw coverings like curtsins or blavl out blinds so you were wokem early by the light

Room was very comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day which was nice! Didn't sample the breakfast as when we arrived we were told I hadn't booked it! It wasn't a problem as there is an excellent cafe next door!

We really liked everything about the hotel. Just one minor niggle was the shower which had very low water pressure and poor temperature control. By our last morning the water was stone cold. But as we were staying in the heatwave it wasn't a problem at all! But wouldn't have liked it in cooler temperatures!

Location was perfect, just by the beach. Reception staff was efficient and welcoming. The room were a decent size, we had sea view and you could her the sea from wherever you were in the room. Kids share a room downstairs with a small terrace. For both rooms it was nice to be able to open the windows and have fresh air. We enjoyed the long walk along the sea, and having our feet in the clear water and the sand.

We would not recommend the restaurant attached to the hotel. The white wine was warm, the pork was too salty, the salmon overcooked, the broccoli under cooked, the cheese cake not set, the grattin dauphinois overpowered with mustard, left no place for the truffle sauce if it was present. We paid London prices which we were ok with and got a low standard food. It felt like an inconvenience to come fro breakfast, staff is stressed, and for some reason my daughter wanted simply the croissant and not hot food was not right. The eggs were advertised, but the scrambled arrived pale so washed out and tasteless. Very disappointed.

So happy to have found this wonderful ‘hidden gem’ of a hotel on the south coast. Situated right on the beach with sea views and the chance of beach walks and with amenities nearby. Beachcroft is also made extra special by its kind and dedicated staff look out for Cade in the restaurant, Shannon on reception and Sarah in housekeeping who cleans the rooms with loving care. This is not a hotel I would usually stay in, the rooms felt tired, BUT the staff were exceptional and it was situated right on the seafront. The girl on reception was amazing and so friendly. Also I have to mention Cade and also Angus who made me feel like nothing was too much trouble! Credit to the team here.

Montys Bar was not open as advertised on the Great Western website and has always been open on.previous visits. The bar in the hotel is only open in the evening now whereas before it was open in the afternoon which was handy on a wet day..

I arranged a golf trip for 16 guys and we used this hotel as our base. Despite it being a brilliant location by the sea, the thing that makes this hotel so good is its staff. Everyone is so helpful and can not do enough to make your trip is comfortable and easy. With the group we were very much time dependant in order to get to the golf courses and this sometimes meant that normal meal times had to be adjusted and that was exactly what the staff did for us, enabling our trip to run smoothly. All members of staff were excellent but a special mention to our waitress Katie who excelled at all of our requests. So thanks to Phil the manager and his team, your support was very much appreciated. John

Great location, you can't beat the sea view from the Terrace. Really helpful staff. comfortable and clean rooms, generous breakfast cooked to order and convenient car parking.

At this time of the year the terrace bar is only open at weekends but really its little effort to collect the drinks from the really near and well stocked inside bar.

We had a lovely stay as a family of 3. The family room was clean and had everything we required. The staff (especially Shannon) were so welcoming and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect and the room had a lovely view of the sea.

I’ve not visited Bognor Regis now for at least 40 years and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Simply put our stay at the Beechcroft Beach hut was above and beyond anything I had imagined for this part of England. The room itself or I should say beach hut was absolutely glorious and perfection. The view was spectacular and everything about it just screamed premium deluxe Service. Particular thanks goes to Lucas, Carla and Shannon for their incredible help during our stay. So amazing was our experience with these lovely people that are one night visit was extended two because we simply didn’t want to leave! We look forward to coming back and seeing you all very soon. PS the menu, the restaurant, spectacular just spectacular!

Rooms were very dated. Bed, pillows and duvet were very uncomfortable, didn't get a good night sleep. Definitely need some improvement on updating rooms.
