Staff and facilities. The pool spa facilities were great and the manger was first class. The reception staff and bar staff were grand.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. the breakfast was good and we ate in the hotel for lunch and the food was high quality and so tasty and good value.

We were very disappointed with the shower. We stayed in 419 and it was difficult to regulate the shower, it had very poor pressure and was not not hot. Given the very expensive cost to stay at the hotel , at a minimum it is expected to have a good shower. I did report this to the receptionist the following morning. Very disappointed too that there was no drinking water available in the room.

Stayed here on many occasions when over visiting my mother. Great location for a short walk into Carlow town. All the staff are fantastic. Can’t fault the place

The pool

The bed was comfortable and the showers were powerful and hot. The hotel and room were very clear.

There was confusion about my booking when I arrived to the hotel and I was told there was no booking eventhough I had phoned earlier to confirm. There was no reassurance that the problem would be sorted.

Fantastic staff, from front of house to bar, restaurant, housekeeping etc. Really enjoyed our stay., thank you.

Very homely like visiting your Grandparents. Best steak I've had in a long time melted in my mouth "Surf and Turf" All courses werel great and very competitively priced. Value for money.€137 including a bottle of red wine two starters, 2 x surf and turf steaks and 2 deserts, ..Wow!

A little dated

Een heel mooi, klassiek hotel. De kamers zijn netjes, schoon en ruim. Zwembad keurig. Het personeel was super! We waren rond 17.00 aangekomen voor 1 nacht. Mijn man had zijn rug verrekt in de middag, had veel pijn en viel hierop flauw net toen we om 18.30 in het restaurant waren. Er werd gelijk een ambulance gebeld, men bood aan op de kinderen te letten als we naar het ziekenhuis zouden moeten, sandwiches werden gesmeerd voor evt vertrek. Toen we toch niet weg hoefden, werd het gehele avondeten ons aangeboden. We hadden al genoeg meegemaakt zeiden ze. Grote dank aan Madelaine en John Paul!!! Super lief! Mijn man maakt het goed.

The staff was unbelievable. They couldn’t do enough next time we come back to Ireland we will be staying at the seven oaks hotel I would recommend it

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Very relaxed feeling in this Hotel small intimate and tranquil. Food was delicious and a nice menu. Would certainly recommend Seven Oaks Hotel . I would come back again.

Large bedroom, nice check in and got keys a bit earlier than check in time which was nice. Safe parking. Good fresh breakfast with great choice. Comfy beds and good showers

The hotel itself just needs updating. The gutters outside over window were dripping all nite

The bed in the room was not acceptable. It creaked with every movement which made it almost impossible to sleep. plus the bed was vey low down.

Yes the Hotel is very comfortable and lovely atmosphere. But for us it was the staff that made it perfect in every section of the Hotel . It was our 2nd time staying here . It was just as nice as the first visit.

It was close to our event, quite, lovely bar , perfect lovely food, very comfortable beds great showers iron and ironing board in cupboard and hair dryer in drawer

It was VERY warm we were melting now it was 26°C outside we had 2 windows open all night but it was very stuffy and hot 🥵

Everything was good. Met the expectations. The breakfast was quite good. The staff was friendly too and at the reception the ambience reminded us of the 70"s and hence quite nostalgic.

The hotel is extremley warm- the rooms lack working aircon although there was a fan.

Perfect location, breakfast lovely, great staff. Only negative there was a very large crowd from Dublin for a function and they were just shouting and screaming the whole weekend, we had to move to lobby because of noise in bar

It was in walking distance to the town, the bar, restaurant & staff were excellent

The room we stayed in had a wall outside our bedroom window & made the room very dark, we like to see out even if it’s a view to the car park or anywhere but not a wall

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Neither Good or bad reviews regarding the hotel.. found it awkward to find rooms as it was 2 lifts and walk the distance of the hotel to get to our rooms. Rooms was very dated, with cracked tiles in bathroom. TV never worked in our rooms. My daughter’s room it only had 3 channels working. Good excellent but the hotel needs some upgrades asap
