First time staying here at recommendation of a friend. Everything was good. Check-in was done in good English and explained clearly. Room was huge (ours at La Rozario superior double) with 2-seater sofa, coffee table, workdesk & chair, bathtub, separate shower and toilet, long vanity top with 2 mirrors (but only 1 washbasin). Breakfast had a good spread with cereal, bread, pastries, local food, egg station, fruits, salad and dessert. Activities like pickleball or tennis, kayaking or pedal boating offered. Otherwise, just walking around the resort and its lake in cool temperatures is very relaxing and good for the soul

 Food quality was not great at the restaurant but service was excellent. Although the resort does not have any other amenity in its immediate vicinity, it's easy to get a Grab car to the nearby cafes or eating places (about 15 mins away). Going into town (25-30 mins) gives even more options for food and shopping.

The resort is beautiful and tranquil. The view from the villa was breathtaking. The staff was nice and friendly.

I didn't get a good night's sleep because I couldn't turn off the porch light, and the blinds didn't block all the light. The food was good but the service at the restaurant was slow.

The location is amazing

They were not AC in the room, no mosquito net around the bed so we were bothered a lot during the night by mosquito.

We booked a lake view room, but there was no view—obstructed by bushes.Our main door lock came off 4-5 times during our short stay; they didn't do anything to compensate.The room heater stopped working late at night; they provided a portable one, but it was not a great experience, and we didn't feel we got the worth of the money we paid.

La piscine et jacuzzi à l’eau froide c’est vraiment très moyen et l’espace faisait un peu à l’abandon , le jacuzzi n’était même pas en fonction à moitié plein et froid . Alors non ce n’est pas une exception ce n’est jamais chauffé . Et le personnel pas très avenant, à l’exception du chauffeur et de la réceptionniste du soir . Premier hôtel depuis plus d’un mois au Vietnam qui n’a pas été en mesure de nous procurer un scooter ! Ni même un fer à repasser . Ni même nous donner des pistes pour optimiser nos visites.

Breakfast

Pool was cold ( although advertised as warm) , rooms were old and the door wouldn't lock. There was no where to get drinking water except an extortionate vending machine in the lobby that sold tiny waters for High prices. Too far from town and room service was poor quality and very expensive. The building had fixtures missing everywhere and wires dangling out of the walls.

Beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by trees and the lake. Well maintained garden and flowers. Great place for enjoying a slow holiday.

Receptionists are unhelpful and not 5-star quality standards. Receptionist lied that the hotel was full and was not willing to change our room despite our willingness to pay for an upgrade and having available rooms. They finally accepted after insisting. Receptionist also told us that the kayaks were not available because they were all reserved which wasn’t true as we were able to reserve one on the spot through a different staff member when we went to the quay. Overall, the reception staff is unfriendly, not smiling and does not provide the level of care and service expected for a 5-star stay. On another note, the quality of the food at the restaurant does not match the expectations for a 5-star establishment.

I am writing this to warn fellow travelers about the unprofessionalism and deceptive practices at Dalat Edensee. We stayed in Room 164 (Feb 19-20), and it was a 5-star disaster. Here is the truth behind their "luxury" facade: 1. Lies & Privacy Issues: The Front Office Manager lied, claiming they sent staff to pack our bags without our consent. We returned to find nothing was touched. Why lie about entering a guest's room? 2. Operational Chaos: They failed to call our mobile number regarding checkout. They booked us a 2 PM shuttle but provided NO details on where to board, causing us to miss it and pay for a private taxi. 3. Incompetent Advice: They gave wrong walking times to "Happy Hill" and were "clueless" about holiday crowds. Total lack of local professional knowledge. 4. Extorting Fees: Despite waiting 20+ mins for their own buggy (which caused our delay), they forced us to pay a late checkout fee. They admitted it was their error but refused to refund us—absolutely absurd. 5. TAX FRAUD? Most shockingly, the Rooms Operations Manager tried to deceive us by claiming "Vietnam does not issue VAT invoices to individuals." Only after we confronted them did they admit they were "wrong." 6. Missing Invoice: It has been days, and despite their "promises," the legal VAT invoice (Hóa đơn đỏ) has still not been sent to my email. To the General Manager of Dalat Edensee: I am still waiting for a full refund of the unfair charges and my legal invoice. I have already prepared reports for the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) and the Tax Department.

Perfect place on the lake shore with great gardens with a lot of peacocks. Wonderful interiors. One of the hotels you will remember for sure!

Style, class, overall standards of furnishings and balance with nature. The buildings look and feel part of the surroundings. Lovely subtle colours of the properties.

Nothing, even the peacocks noise just added to the ambience of this unique place in the lakeside setting.

Location and room were great

The spa was expensive however service was very poorly delivered and did not feel relaxing at all. I had to keep on telling the staff to be more gentle as she was very rough with the massage and the hair wash.

We were at January, so it's off season. A little bit cold in the rooms, but there was heaters. Also a big humidity in rooms, and smell of high humidity. The restaurant no music. Very strange feeling there. Also to cold to sit. Prices I would say overpriced at restaurant.

Very idyllic, luxurious and stylishly blended with nature. Outstanding views. Absolute peace and quiet surrounded by nature. There is so much within the hotel grounds that you don’t even need to leave the property.

Definitely not suitable for people with sleep problems. I liked the peacocks, though there are quite a lot of them. They sing 24/7. Air conditioning with a heating function would have been appreciated

Gorgeous location not too far from town. There’s a shuttle service to the city and the staff will arrange transportation to other locations for you too. The staff is very friendly and the whole atmosphere is relaxing. The outdoor activities like kayaking and archery were a lot of fun too. They also had the best breakfast. Our flight left earlier than the breakfast buffet opened so the staff prepared a breakfast for us to take out.

The room was empty and looked incomplete. It wasn’t tidy and was not worth a 5 star rating. The pool should be heated and while amenities and activities are great, the location of the hotel is not suitable for people wanting easy commute to the city. Staff are inconsistent in their service. Could put more energy into the customer experience than making the landscape pretty.

Always a pleasant experience staying here. Have stayed 4-5 times over the last few years with family. Traveled with young child, under 6. Check-in is pleasant and friendly. Always stayed in the Junior Suite - Lake View. Room is very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the lake. All room have a gas fireplace, including the bathroom. This is the only source of heat during the colder seasons. Separate living and bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Peacocks are always around and fun to watch, especially for young children. Breakfast is good and provides multiple selections and cuisines. Some days the selection is limited based on how bus the hotel is. Indoor/outdoor options for seating. Room service is reasonable and efficient for the evenings you plan to stay in the room. Hotel "buggies" are great for the transportation around the resort. They have a lot of outdoor activities, but unfortunately we have not taken advantage of them due to weather conditions (Tennis, pickle ball, playground, water sports, etc) The grounds are beautifully decorated and enhanced during major holidays with decorations. They offer a shuttle to the city. The staff is always pleasant and makes our stay as enjoyable as possible.

The breakfast is delicious and diverse, with attentive service. This is truly a great experience!

Beautiful surroundings, spaciousness and clean air! Edensee is excellent value for money whilst still maintaining a luxurious experience.

The hotel staff were very nice.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel. Le paysage est magnifique. L'entretien du domaine remarquable. Le personnel est très bien : attentionné, serviable, poli, et toujours prêt à rendre service avec un sourire en prime.

Dommage qu'il y a la fuite des lavabos dans une chambre. Et ce depuis déjà quelques temps. Le gestionnaire en est conscient. Mais doit attendre pour réparer, car la réparation coûte chère.

В описании отеля была услуга няни, к сожалению, персонал не подтвердил такую услугу. Мы рассчитывали на нее, чтобы посетить спа, поэтому отсутствие такой возможности немного нарушило наши планы. Но не сильно.

Would like to say the beautiful resort in dalat was so relaxing with quiet beautiful views all around us. The staff was so warm and accommodating which made our stay very enjoyable . Would like to compliment , Ms.Yen from Reservations who made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing and extending all amenities of the resort to us. Shuttle service to / from Dalat are offered and included in your stay. Breakfasts are delicious and the lunch and dinners plus high teas were great. Highly recommend if you’re seeking a quiet , lake view resort for your stay in the Dalat Mountains.

Dalat Edensee is such a peaceful and beautiful place! The view of the lake is stunning, and the fresh air is a big plus. We really enjoyed the outdoor activities — canoeing, kayaking, archery, and swan pedal were all so much fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for both couples and families!

Very peaceful setting next to the lake, free return shuttle bus in to town 3 times per day (or 15-20 minutes by taxi in to town for about £5), complimentary afternoon tea, lots of hotel activities if you have time (we stayed 2 nights, but could have stayed an extra night to use the hotel tennis courts, kayaking, electric boat ride, fishing, etc). Although the hotel was built in 2011 it's got a nice period style & furnishings.

The indoor pool was cold water, I don't think that's clear in the description.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting. There is a lot to do on sight including tennis, ping pong, swimming and walking. We had a huge family room with four double beds and two bathrooms. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was good. Breakfast was also great. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They could not be more friendly or helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at Dalat Edensee and it was a truly relaxing experience. The resort is surrounded by pine trees and beautiful Tuyen Lam lake which gave it a very peaceful and romantic atmosphere — perfect for a short escape from the hustle and bustle city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed, i will definitely come back soon.

This is a really great hotel and I enjoy the location and interior very much. We had a spacious room with very high sealings. The grounds and area are wonderful. The service is very good overall, but our dinner was not very enjoyable. It took far too long for the food to arrive and the quality wasn't the best. The pizza was terrible. I hope that they will improve their dinner service as it was not up to par with the rest of the experience. I would like to thank Ms. Thanh Nguyen for her kindness to me and my family. She left a very touching handmade card.

The place is magical, flowery, with many panoramic views, a high-class lobby, a great breakfast that gives the opportunity to taste local specialties and especially quiet. It fits perfectly for a quiet getaway with family Located in Tuyen Lam Lake, 20 mins from noisy city center.

Ok so here's the deal. The staff is excellent, very helpful and supportive. The common areas are beautiful. The shuttle is great. Here are the BUTS: 1). Beds are AWFUL. I literally have bruises on my hips because how the slats can be felt through the mattress. 2). Food is sub par and INSANELY overpriced, especially for what it is. Breakfasts are ok, but the fruit selection is basic - not regional offerings or tasty. 3). Our room had water stains in the ceiling and a mantle that was missing the fireplace. For the price, not worth it. Unless you want to get away in the nature and that's beautiful.

Our Villa was huge so enough space for 5 people. The spa was great and the service very good.

It's a bit remote. We did not realize beforehand that we shared the kitchen and living room with other people in the Villa.

The garden and surrounding area are very well kept and the lake view is amazing. Breakfast has local delicacies.. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Don't book the Deluxe Garden and Pine hill room - it faces the parking area and the windows point to the nearby accommodations. Hotel is busy with groups and they are very noisy - rooms are not noise isolated and you can hear everything from the room below or next door, Double beds are 2 beds zipped together and there is an uncomfortable ridge in the middle.

Tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Our family having a suit with the lake views, the suit is spacious & comfortable and we absolutely love it. There is children place area which my 18 months toddler enjoyed ( even though we think it needs a-bit of an upgrade) Staff is so friendly and helpful. Another plus with the food so delicious from breakfast (offers around the region specialty), lunch & dinner with nice family dishes like chicken hotpot and the award winning is the coconut ice cream We're all in for next time!!!

There's isn't anything that we disliked besides recommending the resort to offers more frequent shuttle bus service to town.

Overall our stay was so so. We had a lot of issues during our stay. On our first night stay the water heater is not working and it took them an hour to figured out what's wrong. Then we encountered the same problem on our third night. No one is answering 555 hotline. We need to call "0" before we can connect to their restaurant. It also took them 40 mins for a fresh springrolls and a pizza. Upon check in our tour guide told us that if we soiled their towels we will be fined for them cleaning it. I find it silly and first time i've ever encountered this rule. Playroom is very dusty causing our toddlers have a running nose. We're having a evening drink in our room and on the last night we forgot to return all the wine glass in each respective room. In the morning when we're checking out they want to charge us for missing wine glass. Which of course absurd since we're mostly locate in one area and dont they noticed that one room has plenty of glasses. The lady manager/general manager also dont know how to speak english. For a 5 star hotel I personally think that she should know how to speak english even a little. When we had a problem in our check out she just stepped out of the counter. What kind of a manager is that?! Rooms are good. Wifi speed is decent. Everyday breakfast buffet is the same which makes it boring after staying 3 days or more. Huge thumbs up to bell boys they are very attentive. New Year's Eve gala dinner buffet was excellent! We enjoyed the food options. With all the issues we've encountered I personally dont think they deserved to be a 5 hotel but rather a 4 hotel.
