The room was very comfortable with lots of nice touches like the water heater and the soaps in the bathroom. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very high quality and a tasty full English. The location is perfect for anyone going to BRNC Dartmouth for an event, which is what I was doing.

A very friendly and warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. The room was very pleasant and the bed comfortable, the facilities in the room were excellent everything you needed. Also an excellent view from the room window. The breakfast was superb, a pot of fresh yoghurt and fruit on the table every morning, before you had a choice of freshly cooked items. A selection of pastries was also available and some of the best toast we have had. Although there was a public bar down stairs, because of its limited opening it wasn't a problem. We were very well looked after by Jude and Sandra throughout our stay, nothing was too much for them.

Nothing that could have been done better but be aware that the stairs access to the rooms, with it being an old building, are winding so if you have limited mobility it could be a problem. However our cases were carried too and from our rooms for us, which was most appreciated.

There was nothing about the Ship in dock inn we didn’t like. All the staff were super friendly. The place was super clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was amazing and the price for all this was very very reasonable!! Can’t wait to go back again!! Thank you very very much.

Quirky building - rooms have been done up very nicely, bathroom was excellent. Great views from both windows.

Parking is tricky - but we had been advised in advance, so we managed to park close and for free, but you need to check parking signs.

What a lovely place to stay, everything was perfect. Upon arrival we were made to feel most welcome. Our room was delightful, spotlessly clean, comfortable and we had a view of the river Dart. We said we had to leave very early on the Sunday and the owner put herself out so we could have breakfast before we left. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a wonderful stay. We would thoroughly recommend this gem of an Inn.

We loved everything about this little pub bed and breakfast. The lovely landlady was so helpful and friendly, as were the staff behind the bar and the lady who served the breakfast. The decor in the room was beautiful. The added little touches that made us feel like we were staying in a 5* boutique hotel. The complimentary snacks and well stocked fridge. The breakfast was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.

There was nothing negative about staying in this lovely B&B.

The staff were very cheerful and helpful. The excellent shower was very welcome at end of a hot day. The breakfast was very good. It was the perfect location as we wanted to be near the yacht pontoon.

Our room was small but perfectly adequate and good value for a short stay.

Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De zeep en handdoeken roken lekker. De badkamer was heel mooi en evenwichtig van (retro) stijl. De staf was zeer behulpzaam en iemand bekende dat het hotel hun baby was. Dat kon ik merken. Ook het ontbijt was grandioos.

I swam the Dart 10k and it was very close to the start and finish. The staff made up special breakfasts for me as I had really early starts. This was really considerate and helpful. The cooked breakfast on my last day was also delicious. The staff were really kind and helpful

The sash window wasn’t working properly but there was a nice note in the room to apologise and provide wedges to keep the window open.

Great location, really clean, very welcoming and easy to park. The room was lovely, and although we didn’t use it the mini bar and snacks were a great addition to the room. We really really appreciated the fan that we could use as it was a very hot weekend and also all the teas/ coffee ( with a cafetière) and the usb charger points. Really really lovely place and the breakfast was delicious and a great selection. Would definitely recommend

The road could be fairly noisy but we personally didn’t mind that and it was only during the day. If the windows were shut then I don’t think it would be a problem but ours were wide open due to the hot weather. It certainly didn’t disturb our sleep!

Ein sauberes Zimmer über dem Pub Nichts vom Pub gehört. 👍🏼 Abends noch ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Pub Inhaber beim Bier geführt. Wir haben das Hotel als Zwischenstopp auf der Rückreise nach London genutzt. Frühstück war top

Perfect location for getting around Dartmouth, catching the ferries and close to amenities. Traditional west country pub, staff all very friendly, excellent breakfast, it was obvious that thought had been put into making the rooms as comfortable as possible.

We were fortunate to visit Darmouth in April which allowed us to park on the road close to rhe accommodation. However from May to October, parking could be an issue.

The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful and so were some of the regulars from the pub too and very welcoming. The room was supplied with large bath sheets - brilliant. All the rooms have a very good view over the Dart river. Location was very good with a very short stroll into the centre of Dartmouth. Breakfast was very good with many options to suit. Would stop there again and recommend to others

Everything was good. The welcome was warm and friendly. Room and bathroom were both very good, very clean and very comfortable. Facilities were excellent. All staff were friendly, approachable and attentive. WiFi and SmartTV were both excellent. Mini fridge in room was well equipped. Breakfast was good. The stay exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again

Friendly staff who provided excellent service and really cared about whether we had everything we needed. Our room was warm and comfortable, and the tea/coffee tray was well supplied. There was even fresh milk in the small fridge. The excellent breakfasts were cooked to order and were delicious.

Attention to detail. Everything was spot on. Tea and coffee making facilities even had scissors to cut open tea bags and a tea bag squeezer. Ground coffee and a cafetière available as well. Lovely warm room.

Only a minor niggle. Too many hangers in the small wardrobe and we had to take some out to get our clothes in They were those ones that leave behind the top section so was still too tight.

Dejligt sted med stor personlighed. Gammel charmerende bygning, men velholdt. God beliggenhed i forhold til byen. Dejlig udsigt fra vinduerne. Værelserne er udstyret med alt, hvad man har brug for og TV og wi-fi fungerer perfekt. Morgenmaden indtages i en hyggelig spisestue. Udvalget er begrænset, men det der er, er i orden.

Desværre var der et stort vej- og gravearbejde i gang lige rundt om bygningen. Det både støjede og gav anledning til lidt besvær med adgangen. Det er mere ligesom et bed and breakfast sted. Der er ikke personale tilstede andet end om morgenen. Der er en pub i stueetagen, men det virker ikke som om de har noget med værelserne at gøre.
