Simon and Vanessa were the perfect hosts.Attention to detail.Very understanding and kind in their approach. I felt heard and at ease. The breakfast was plentiful and the full english option was cooked to perfection. Communication was relevant and acted on when necessary.My needs were anticipated and this exceeded expectations.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was perfect, comfortable bed. Lovely, hot shower. Great breakfast and really wonderful hosts. We will undoubtedly be back.

Staying at the Angove was an all round great experience. Lovely warm welcome from the hosts. Beautiful sea view, comfy bed, my favourite expensive biscuits next to the kettle which I was thrilled about! So many options for breakfast and the full english was so delicious my husband was raving about the sausages!! I was very envious of all of the gorgeous vintage furniture in the tea room and landing areas. Absolutely stunning. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again

Beautiful building right on the sea front. Lovely clean rooms and public areas all decorated in keeping with the lovely building. Excellent location for beach, town centre and railway station. Hosts amazing. Lovely breakfast with good quality ingredients.

They were very accommodating to me. I have had a bad bad accident on my arm which they cut up my breakfast for me which I was very pleased about very lovely couple

The location was great as we travelled by train, just a short walk. Access to the buses and the town. Our sea view was great. We didn’t have time to use it but we thought the honesty was a great idea and great value. The shower was good. The welcome text was nice and being able to check in a little early was helpful as was being able to leave our cases on the last day before our train left. Good selection of teas and good to have a fridge in the room. Plenty of electrical points.

The bed was descrived as extra large but seemed not to be? We found the matress uncomfortable as it had a bump in the middle (dips either side.. it was like Chessil beach was in the middle of the bed🙂) We would have liked more hooks or shelves for toiletries in the bathroom. We thought 45 mins was a short breakfast window.

Fantastic location. Beautifully decorated property, very tasteful. Excellent breakfast, Vanessa & Simon were excellent hosts offering friendly & relaxed service - nothing was too much trouble. Very quiet at night (room at the back) and good soundproofing.

The hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options for dietary preferences/allergies. We booked a room on the top floor with a shared bathroom and received emails to confirm that the number of stairs and shared bathroom were what we expected before our arrival.

Stayed here a few years ago when it was called the premier, you wouldn't recognise it now. Excellent place and the owners are lovely. One of the best breakfasts I have had anywhere.

We had a lovely stay at The Angove - Vanessa and Simon were wonderful hosts. We had a room upgrade when we arrived as a bigger room was available which was a great bonus! The location was excellent and directly opposite the beach. Breakfast was great too and we would highly recommend the property.

The location; very close to the beach, train station and all amenities. The hosts; very welcoming, kind, gentle and make you feel like home. The premise: elegantly decorated not too much. You feel like you are living in your own home, not like a hotel. Breakfast: simple but sufficient and delicious. Cleanliness: 10/10 Definitely coming back if ever visit Weymouth again.

Owners friendly, great location , clean BnB, just right for a getaway.

We thought we had booked a sea view in fact we are sure about it, but were given a strange and discomforting room (5) a back facing small room but with very high ceiling , with furniture from Grannys' Attic. Thinking on it alarm bells should have rung when Booking.com said after booking and paying that the BNB isnt confirmed until we contacted the owners and i didnt think to ask for confirmation we were getting a sea facing room.

Location

Very central, very nice to interact with the owners. They allow you a great deal of freedom and are there if you need any help or information. The added bonus is that the hotel is right in the middle of the promenade but not super central - this preserves it from any noise, especially in summer time. It is also right in front of the sea - I had great walks.

My bad: it was a super hot day and I didn't check before that the facility didn't have any air conditioning. Unfortunately, the fan they provided was not enough to have a good night sleep as my room's window was facing an internal tight courtyard and there wasn't enough air passing through. As a result my bed was boiling hot and most of the night was uncomfortable. I am sure that on an average British weather, my experience would have been even better.

Location is excellent, just a few minutes' pleasant stroll into the centre of town. And, of course, right on the SW Coast Path. Breakfast freshly cooked and smashing with plenty of choice. Room was fairly small but clean and had everything I needed for my one night stay. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, they operate a very well-run establishment. I booked close to my stay and, given that the weather was lovely, I count myself pretty fortunate to have found a vacancy here. I probably paid top dollar for the room but it was certainly worth it; I'd come again and recommend it to any other SW Coast Path walkers.

Extremely nice guesthouse in a superb location. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. They coped with me needing gluten-free and had a choice of white or brown gf toast. Nice touches, including snacks and soft drinks in an 'honesty' bar. Lovely place to stay.

A great location. Quick and easy check-in and prompt communications prior to arrival. The owners were really friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room with comfortable beds, a large bathroom, with bath and shower and everything was very clean. The rate included a lovely breakfast with beautiful views. It was also such a bonus to have a parking permit for a nearby car park. Will definitely return and have recommended to friends.

The friendly greeting on arrival .we booked to stay 1 night as we were heading further along the coast .we are going to book to stay for a longer stay in September as we enjoyed it that much.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit bowl was a bonus. Bed was very comfy. Room had everything we needed. Hosts were helpful, friendly and took time to talk to us and other guests.

We could hear the man next door using his toilet. View from our room was of poop stained rooftops.

The location is great, it's near the train station and the beach is right across the road. Breakfast was wonderful and the bedroom was cozy.

A lot of stairs to the attic room but we were pre warned at the booking stage ensuring we were fully informed before our visit.

Petit déjeuner (avec beaucoup de choix) parfait. Fruit frais fournis par l'hôte à chaque petit-déjeuner. Aucune restriction si nous voulions un supplément. Idéalement situé pour visiter la vielle ville. Parking à 500m mais gratuit pour les clients.

Being close to the sea, in general very clean / tidy like being home from home.

We stayed during a heat wave room was very hot ( not their fault) we were given extra fan which helped a lot 😊..

The hotel was very clean. Because the weather was extremely hot and the only form of cooling was an electric fan. The nights were very hot, would have spent more evening in room if there was better cooling like air con! Breakfast was brilliant and hosts very accommodating.

The location was perfect and we had a mini fridge in the room and the hosts supplied fresh milk for tea and coffee. The breakfast was lovely and we were offered a fresh fruit salad before our full English which was a nice touch. They also advised on the best carpark for our stay which made it less stressful looking for parking.

The location was perfect, the room was comfortable and ideal for myself and my mum. Simon & Vanessa were super friendly and really helpful, from providing crispy bacon at breakfast to plasters for my mum following her dive into some brambles. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Weymouth and look forward to watching Four in a Bed next week!

I didn’t get the room that I saw on there website,what was advertised on the website was not what we got,you couldn’t open a window as you would have to move the bed,there was less than a foot either side of the bed to get room,you kept catching your toes on the metal legs of the bed,the shower wasn’t very clean and there wasn’t much room to sit on the toilet and not much room near the sink.

I honestly can say this is one of the best b&b we've stayed in at Weymouth, Simon and Vanessa was so welcoming. The view from our room was amazing and so was the breakfast. You can see the effort they put in to make your stay a comfortable as possible and it was clean and tidy all through
