Absolutely stunning hotel with such a lovely staff!! View was amazing, prizes of food and drinks from a very affordable range... Great matrasses in the room.. only the seats on the balcony were terrible. Looked fine, sat terrible... but other then that...amazing!

Super location, fantastic view over the Mediterranean all the way to Corsica, nice room with spacious balcony and excellent breakfast buffet. So, you might think, why not a five star score. Well, two thing. 1) Personnel not all that friendly, and 2) service and quality of food in the restaurant disappointing. Personnel in the restaurant seemed to be in a hurry and was very pushy. Pushy to take orders, pushy to serve food, and in such a way that we really couldn’t enjoy our time in the restaurant. On top of that, the quality of the food was average. Not value for money. It seems you pay for the lovely view over the Castelsardo by, but not for the food…..The explanation to the pushy behavior of the personnel became evident later. There was a (dinner)party later that evening. Loud guests (not staying in the hotel). Yelling and screaming until way after midnight….disappointing, especially for a resort that advertises with their quiet and chill location. I could have given this resort a score of 5 out of 5, if it weren’t for the restaurant experience and the noise during the (Saturday) night of non-resident party guests.

Fantastiskt ställe med vackra omgivningar och panoramautsikt över havet. Här råder lugn och ro, och personalen är både varm och professionell. Restaurangen håller hög klass utan att kännas stel – en perfekt kombination av kvalitet och trivsel. Ett ställe man definitivt vill återvända till.

The resort was beautifully located. The facilities and the grounds exceeded expectations. The restaurant was a fine dining experience. All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Wandering around the grounds revealed numerous hot tubs and relaxation areas all with spectacular views. The rooms were modern and well equipped. Comfy beds!

We had a great stay at Bajaloglia Resort. The crew made our stay very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful. The food and drinks where wonderful. Great cooking and good complementary wine suggestions by the Sommelier.

Very nice location with magnificant views of Castelsardo village and castle. Extremely friendly and personalized service. Dinner experience in the hotel close to perfection, fantastic menu with variety of fish, seafood and other local dishes, large portions. Professional but relaxed service and nice somelier. We were upgraded to own private villa with fantastic views.

Great 9 night stay at the resort. The staff in particular were all very polite and helpful, responding very quickly when we had additional requests and making suggestions for when in the local town. The courtesy bus was very useful as we didn’t want to hire a car, the driver like all the staff was always on time and always very polite. The on site breakfast and restaurant were both very good, the restaurant was high end and had a fresh seafood focus like most in the area. The view was amazing from the rooms, pool and restaurant areas, would very much recommend at stay.

We read that Castelsardo was a must do when visiting Sardinia. As an aside to this review, we were completely confused as to why it was recommended, and only a quick consult with Google stopped us from missing this stunning citadel. The hotel was reached by quite a frightening, bumpy incline, but that was the worst part of our visit. Our room was very clean. A semi detached villa with a terrace and roof terrace. The pool area and gardens were well maintained. We ate in the restaurant, which was fabulous. The staff were outstanding. Especially the sommelier . Our meal was outstanding, paired with superb wine.

Goed restaurant

It is a beautiful property with good food. However they still seem to agrue and not take us seriously about the smell from the night stands in the White Villa. My husband looked up the tag and there is a warning about the wood stating in moist areas it will get formaldehyde. I open the drwaer and a gas came out making me sick. The shower makes a high pitch noise throughout the whole place. Theyreis not screen on most every thing. The bathroom if you open at night the windows bugs get in. There is cameras around this villa. I get the pool I guess but not the otherside. It wasn't a luxury private villa. They did move us finally the next night. Unfortunately only one person could take a shower in this villa they said they checked it but the second person was always cold. I appreciate what effort was made a free dinner but unfortunately we spent 2 half days dealing with all of this and moving that it just ruined seeing all we had planned.

Beautiful resort hotel on top of a hill overlooking the hill town of CASTELSARDO and the Mediterranean. The rooms are scattered around the hill with the reception, dining room and swimming pool on the top of the hill. It can be a bit of a steep walk up to the main building but a golf cart is available to pick you up. My room with sweeping views was not large but comfortable with an outdoor deck. Decor is simple but nice. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a good size walk in shower. There is wifi throughout once you fill in the online form asking far too much personal information. The TV had about 4 English language channels. There is a good breakfast with large array of hot & cold foods. And there is a cooked egg station. Dinner at the hotel is top class, the food was outstanding. Drinks from the bar were not overpriced. Staff were helpful & friendly. It’s a very nice place to stay.

We have visited Sardegna now 3 times cycling. Bike Tours Sardinia, an outstanding company I have used on numerous occasions booked us into this resort after I asked for “up scale” lodging. Now as a cyclist, I must say that the 2 km of 25% plus grade not their resort caused numerous 4-5 and 10 letter words. We had to push our bike to the top of the hill and were rewarded with the most Amazing view of Castelsardo!!! After catching our breath we totally loved the staff, the facilities and especially the dinner restaurant! AMAZING food and they did NOT step on the price of their wines to the extent that other resorts have evolved to. My offered to stay the next two weeks there while I continued cycling!!!🚴

This is a lovely property and deserves the 4 star status. The views from the property were stunning. Pool area and grounds are very nice. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

Absolutely stunning views from our Villa! It was truly breathtaking to wake up each morning, watching the sunrise while looking at Castel Doria in Castelsardo. Equally stunning was the opportunity to see the sunset each night. The staff were truly courteous, efficient and caring! We would definitely return to Bajalogia!!

Simply said a great place with great people! The Location of the hotel is simply superb with direct view to the see and the village of Castelsardo. The villa we had was amazing and offered all we were looking for. The Restaurant provides excellent Service and the food is very good for both seafood lover and meat lovers. Most impressed we have been about the entire staff, even if it is end of season where in many places its not anymore so good, not in Bajaloglia these people always work with their heart and try to get everything perfect, also the friendliness was amazing and always with a mile. Thanks to the entire Bajaloglia team for making our 1 week holiday so beautiful and memorable.

Dejligt ophold på et rigtigt spændende og anderledes ressort. Super lækkert morgenmad med alt hvad hjertet begære. Som næsten alt på Sardinien, så består menukortet mest af fisk og skaldyr.

this hotel is small (only 25 ish rooms) and very comfortable. the rooms are spacious and modern. the beds are very comfy. the pool area is lovely and the pool, bar, rooms and restaurant all have a great view looking over the town and castle. the staff are very friendly and welcoming. the bar is a nice place to get lunch and have a drink. it is so nice to have such a great restaurant at the hotel. we had 2 dinners there and both times everyone enjoyed the food. the location is great, as you can easily access the town from the hotel (by car, unless you like walking up steep hills!). the breakfast is also very tasty with fresh cooked eggs available along with fresh pastries and fruit.

Very relaxing, great team people and food. We would recommend this hotel as a base for a week in the Castelsardo area. The restaurant is excellent if you love really good fish and local dishes. The views and sunsets were stunning - I would never get tired of them. The reception team are all fonts of knowledge about what to do and see in northern Sardinia.

Fantastic location, facility & employees!! The dinner on our last night was the best we've ever had! Having spent a week in Castlesardo, there were NO other hotels where we would rather have stayed. The views & proximity to Castlesardo made it the perfect place! We extended our stay from 5 nights to 7!

We absolutely loved this gorgeous property off the beaten path. The hotel staff was exceptional in hospitality and the room, views, pool and restaurant were top notch. We ended up staying 2 extra days because we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend this resort.

We hadden het geluk een upgrade te krijgen naar een villa, hier hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad met een fantastisch uitzicht over Castelsardo.

What a fantastic place! The 180 degree views over the sea and Castelsardo were incredible, the villa was immaculate, and the staff and food were wonderful. Our family of five with teens had a great stay. So happy we found this place. Thank you to everyone there!

We really enjoyed our stay - too bad it was only one night! The view is fantastic and the food in the restaurant is amazing. One of our favourite hotels in Sardinia!

Their views are amazing overlooking the sea and town of castelsarda. The beds were very comfortable. However, as an interior designer, the whole property needs an overhaul. Paint colors, furniture, all out dated. Reception, bar and dining area cluttered, mismatched and disorganized. Pool and patio furniture mismatched and shabby. All needs to be replaced and updated. In our room much the same. Garish yellow paint in the bathroom, mauve walls (1980s much??) and red leather and curtains in the bedroom. Bathrobes and towels were almost threadbare. However the Bedding was amazing as was the bed. The bathrooms also felt cheap—our shower drain didn’t drain fast enough so we were standing in an inch or more of water while showering. The grounds are incredible but all the other details need to be improved to make this place feel luxurious not like a cheap Las Vegas hotel. Restaurant was pretentious and not all that great in spite of their Michelin rating. That being said, the view from our patio and the serenity watching sunrise and super moon rise made everything of no importance. This property is one of a kind. It could perfect.

Es hat ein excellentes Restaurant, besonders der Sommelier mit seinem Wissen und seiner Leidenschaft für Wein hat uns beeindruckt. Sehr feines und vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet, sehr freundliches Personal - einfach perfekt!

Rigtig fint hotel lige indtil min kone trådte igennem et terassebræt og fik benet i klemme og under dækket var 4-5 m ned til fast grund. Dette var naturligvis et chock for min kone og som kompensation fik hun en gratis øl. Det mener vi dog var lige lovligt fedtet ;-)

Verre de Prosecco offert à l'arrivée très apprécié ! Permet d'apprécier la vue superbe sur la piscine de l'hôtel et sur la ville de Castelsardo depuis la terrasse. Petit déjeuner très complet avec large choix mais nous avons dû demander à 3 reprises pour un cappuccino, seule note négative.

Fantastisk hotel med den flotteste udsigt til Castelsardo og over havet og bjerge. Virkelig skønt hotel med virkelig god morgenmad, kaffe og ikke mindst en fremragende restaurant til aftensmad. Kan kun anbefale!

Gorgeous hotel with a stunning view and lovely poolside beds. Strong focus on cleanliness and sanitation that made us feel safe. Breakfast included with lovely welcome drinks! Our only critical feedback is the drinks and food service poolside left a lot to be desired - it took a long time to even get a menu and our dirty dishes were never cleared.

Flott hotell, nydelig utsikt! Rommene var fine og rene, bassengområdet var supert og servicen helt fantastisk. Vi hadde ikke bil, og var nødt til å komme oss til butikken. Vi spurte om resepsjonen kunne skaffe oss taxi, men de kjørte oss til butikken selv, begge gangene. God mat på hotellet, du finner noe som passer et vanlig kosthold, barn, og gravide. Gode engelskkunnskaper. Bor gjerne her igjen!

Traumhafte Lage in den Hügeln oberhalb Lu Bagnus mit Blick auf Castelsardo. Schöner Pool, absolute Ruhe, perfekte Erholung. Sehr ordentliches Frühstücksbuffet und ein wirklich erstklassiges Restaurant. Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit der kompletten Anlage und der Zimmer sowie die Freundlichkeit sämtlicher Mitarbeiter. Einzige Abzüge gibt es für etwas hellhörige Zimmer und ein sehr dünnes WLAN. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und erholt.

The hotel is in an excellent location up on a hill across from Castelsardo. The room was large with a wonderful bathroom and very clean. We highly recommend the restaurant. The food and service were exceptional. We must visit them again soon!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf Castelsardo und das Meer. Man benötigt aber ein Auto um in die Unterkunft zu gelangen. Der nächstgelegene Badestrand von Lu Bagnu ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und alles frisch zubereitet, inkl. Kaffee von Kolbenmaschine. Das Restaurant ist etwas teurer aber von guter Qualität. Seher freundliches Personal.

Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Anlage liegt toll und hat einen wunderbaren Blick. Der Poolbereich ist auch wirklich toll und es gibt genug Parkplätze. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und hat sogar die harten Matratzen für uns mit weicheren überzogen. Im anliegenden Ort gibt es einige Restaurants und auch eine kleine Burg zu besichtigen. Leider hat es in unserem Zimmer etwas komisch gerochen und es war nachts teilweise sehr laut (wir haben nicht herausgefunden was diese Geräusche hervorgerufen hat, Abluft, Klimaanlage,...?). Das Restaurant ist auch sehr schön angelegt, für unseren Geschmack hat das Personal aber eine Hektik verbreitet und war recht unkoordiniert, obwohl garnicht so viel los war. Das war sehr schade und wir haben uns da nicht gut abgeholt gefühlt.

Tijdens ons verblijf had de kamer last van binnendringende vliegende mieren. Het personeel heeft er veel aan gedaan om van die insecten af te komen, maar zelf moesten we daar 's-avonds ook een forse bijdrage in leveren. Per saldo was dat voor ons geen aanleiding om onze zeer positieve beoordeling te wijzigen. Het is min of meer een overmachtsituatie voor de staf van het hotel geweest. Dit soort plagen zijn moeilijk te voorkomen.

Lage ist absolut TOP. Gestaltung des Poolbereichs ist auch sehr gelungen. Sauberkeit und Zustand der Ausstattung könnte noch etwas nachgearbeitet werden.

Alles gut. Leider kein deutscher Fernsehkanal, obwohl viele deutsche Gäste dort waren. Auf Anfragen: zu teuer, ein deutscher Kanal!

Excelente hotel, com ótimo serviço e com vistas fantásticas da cidade de Castelsardo, do mar e das montanhas. Tem um restaurante muito bom, o L'Incantu.

Hôtel fabuleux rien ne manque dans les chambres le moindre détail et pour le confort des occupants nous avons eu un accueil des plus chaleureux un personnel très compétent, très agréable et aux petits soin pour les clients De plus une vue magnifique , des chambres spacieuses je recommande vivement cet hôtel

Fabulous hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle into town and to local beaches. Nice clean pool area with sunbeds and cabanas always available. Drinks and food great and reasonably priced. We will definitely return on day. Probably not ideal for those with limited mobility as slopes and steps around the resort from most rooms to the main areas, but fine for most unless you are lazy.

Upealla paikalla, kukkulan päällä, oleva hotellialue, josta avautui upea näköala Välimerelle ja Castelsardon kaupunkiin. Hotellin ympäristössä laajempi liikkuminen edellyttää jonkin verran kuntoa, sillä korkeuserot ovat huomattavia. Meren rantaan kävely - tai ainakin palaaminen - nostaa kyllä hien pintaan. Hotelli tarjoaa kyllä kyydin rannalle ja takaisin.

Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit tollem Blick. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Ebenso ein gutes Frühstück mit inbegriffen. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist etwas teurer, dafür aber sehr gut.

Einfachf toll. Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb auf einem "Berg" mit tollem Blick auf Castelsardo. Das >Personal war sehr freundlich und gut geschult. Zimmer und Bad sauber, aber etwas klein. Das Essen (sowohl abends im ausgezeichneten Restaurant wie auch das für italienische Verhältnisse sehr üppige Frühstück) waren sehr gut

We enjoyed our stay very much. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner and had good meals. The portions were very generous and the views of the sunset were stunning. The breakfast buffet was varied but not completely ready when we had an early start on our last day. The pool area was very clean with nice sunbeds but we felt that in peak season more umbrellas and sunbeds would be needed.

We arrived in at the Bajaloglia Resort after after 4 nights in Capo D'Orso, after 2 attemps at getting up the hill to the hotel on our fiat 500, we were simply stunned by the amazing nearly 360 degree vista / panamoric views overlooking Castelsardo and also in land with all the vineyards and mountains, from our room (number 2), we enjoyed an amazing view once again, the sun set was amazing. The lady at reception was very welcoming, and very approachable / had lots of tips for sights and restaurants, checking in andout very efficient, she also organised at short notice a free shuttle into town in the evening which is only a 5 minute drive, and she also orderes a cab to pick us up once we'd had dinner in town and walked around stunning "Castello" / old town. Overall a real pleasure and from there we have travelles to Alghero, next Bosa, and then across to Cala Ganone completing our tour of the north.

We stayed here for two nights, and had a great stay. The service was great, the breakfast buffet was really good, and the restaurant for Dinner was excellent! The only complaint that we had would be the beds. The beds are not comfortable at all, for such a nice place they did not fit in with the grand scheme of things. Would recommend due to the service that we received.

Paid for a junior suite, which was disappointing as it was very small. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are well furnished. The bed was very hard. Our issue was the location, the hotel is at the top of a hill with nothing surrounding it, you have to have a car! It feels very isolated but this might suit some people! Overall, nice hotel if not amazing.

Lovely setting, beautiful restaurant, clean & modern rooms and a lovely pool area. Service good, just missing that certain something to be excellent.
