Solo la posizione, eravamo stati qua qualche anno prima ed era un buon albergo, adesso sembra abbandonato. Non ho mai messo un punteggio così basso, ma davvero non è corretto pagare per una struttura di questo tipo. La pulizia prima di tutto.

La stanza puzzava di stantio e fumo, c'erano formiche in bagno, mobili deteriorati.

The biggest advantages of this hotel are its location and, for Los Angeles, the reasonable price - or I thought so. Now I realized that the room rates dropped almost 50 %! I paid almost 650 Euros, now tooms are available for the same time for much less... The $10 overnight parking fee also seemed fair.

However, our overall experience was disappointing. We arrived about 50 minutes before the official check-in time, and although our room was already ready, we were asked to pay an additional $10 early check-in fee. I understand that policies exist, but charging for less than an hour when the room is available felt unnecessary and not very welcoming. The property is also clearly showing its age. While the swimming pool was open, the spa/hot tub was closed and, judging by its condition, it looked like it had been out of service for quite some time. Another disappointment was the "breakfast." It consisted of a few granola bars, two types of juice, and coffee. Calling this breakfast is, in my opinion, quite misleading and does not meet the expectations most travelers would have. Overall, the hotel is acceptable if you are mainly looking for an affordable place to sleep in a convenient location. However, don't expect the amenities or breakfast to match what is advertised or what you would normally associate with a hotel stay.

We have stayed at Mikado many times over.20+ years. The rooms were clean and fresh. Breakfast was included. Parking was free. All the facilities worked. Not any more. It's been a steady decline except for the price. Sadly, we won't be coming back.8

The room was very clean, sanitary. Comfortable beds and pillows. Excellent WIFI. Pool. The trees in the garden where there used to be koi fish and the red bridge over the pond. I liked that there was a piano in the lobby. There is a theme here and potential to be something special and quaint but the condition of some parts of this place need improvement. The price of the room is significantly less expensive than most if not all of the other hotel/motels near the area.

I would not have complained about anything if there had not been an issue with our sleeping arrangements, but since I am being honest.......When we booked a room for 5 people; 2 adults and 3children ages 11, 13, and 15, we expected to get a room with beds that would accommodate 5 people. The 2 beds in our room were both only doublesized, barely big enough to sleep 2 people comfortably. So we had one person with no place to sleep and no extra bedding to even make a pallet on the floor. So the kids ended up having to lay across the bed horizontally with their legs hanging over the edge on one side of the mattress. Also, having to pay an extra $20 each night to park on the property seems a bit grimey, parking on the property should be included with the price of the room because it is just an open to the public parking lot without any security or valet so I do not understand how they justify charging extra money to park when they provide no special services and warn that they will not be held responsible for any of your belongings if they are lost or stolen. Nobody plays the piano in the lobby. The hot tub was taped off and not working. Tiles, water and fish missing from the Koi pond. I think this hotel is more like a motel that was enchanting when it was new but time has taken its toll on the place and many things need repairs and maintenance to bring back the charm.

Lack of facilities in the room. No coffee maker to boil water gor a tea or coffee. The TV lost streaming signal 2 minutes into any shiw that you wanted to watch. The upstairs room seemed to have a herd of ekephants that was not resolved.

jacuzzi did not work, front desk told me it was my responsibility to re-notify them about late check out when I asked the night shift and said he would leave a note, I ordered a room with a patio or balcony and did not receive that

Posizione ottima. Struttura accogliente e pulita. Sarebbe stata cosa gradita il parcheggio incluso nel prezzo, ed invece era a pagamento (10$al giorno). In generale ci siamo trovati bene, quindi lo consiglio.

there was an older indian lady at the desk that completely lied to me about how long i could stay at the hotel and threatened to kick me out when i asked to speak with her manager.

It was reasonably priced. The double bed was big. The room had a fridge. The room was cleaned every day. There was a shop 20 min walk away which opened at 5AM. Free coffee was available after 7AM.

It was far away from the Metro. The room smelled horribly. I asked if it had been a smoking room but was told that it wasn’t.

I didn't like the fact that one person told me I had to pay for their parking, and that I would be towed away if I parked on the street. I knew this was not true, and was confused the person tried to sell me a parking pass, which had doubled in price since my last stay.

This is my 3 time I have stayed I will return in future very quiet

The staff is great here. Everything is awesome. The price is good. The only thing is the hot tub wasn’t working twice now in a six month span and that’s part of the reason why I would book this place so advertising that it has a hot tub when it’s actually broke down is not good.

The hotel is cute. Charge for parking now but in LA very reasonable. many restaurants close & fry close also. The Hotel is very old & needs a refurbish but with that said the staff & cleaning people work hard to keep it up to standards. Needs new Carpet. Would recommend this hotel for a few days as a in expensive stop for la travels.

The internet might as well have not existed, it was appauling. Toom quite outdated and in need of some TLC. There was nothing close by either, not many restaraunts or shops. Short uber to Universal though.

It was a great experience, and I would definitely stay there again. I wish they had a bigger breakfast but the grab and go was good.

The tv was not working. We asked to change rooms but the desk lady said ALL the rooms had bad tv’s and that they did not have any other rooms available. She was very rude and unhelpful.

Room smelled like urine and mold. Was attached to a bar so there was a shady guy hanging around in the parking lot asking my daughter n I a bunch of questions. The guy at the front desk would not accommodate my request for an upgrade that night so I checked out and I will not be going back.
