Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Ontzettend aardige eigenaar, was zelfs bereid ons op te halen in Monchique wanneer we geen taxi terug konden krijgen. Dacht altijd met ons mee zelfs op de dag van vertrek. Nog nooit zo een schoon hotel gehad. Geen zandkorrel te vinden, of stofjes, zelfs het douche gordijn wordt verschoond. Heerlijk rustige plek, groot zwembad waar altijd bedden beschikbaar zijn.

In general cazarea arata mai bine decat in poze. Baia nu are mucegai si este foarte curata. Patul este confortabil, pernele nu au fost excelente, dar este o parere personala. Am avut o camera pozitionata mai in spate, de unde puteai iesi direct in curtea interioara cu piscina. A fost liniste, desi daca ai o camera cu privelistea la drumul principal este posibil sa se auda masinile care trec. Cazarea are o parcare generoasa, iar personalul a fost amabil. Recomand!

The swimming pool area was beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds available. We also appreciated having glasses, mugs, plates, and cutlery in the room, as well as a refrigerator. There was also plenty of parking available. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend it.

Location was a long walk into the centre and uphill back! Rooms a bit basic and not facilities and more like an series of apartments. No bar or food on site and no breakfast

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Tolles Hotel mit einem wunderschönen Pool mit vielen Liegestühlen, im Schatten, in der Sonne....alles dabei und dabei supersauber. Das Zimmer war mit Kühlschrank und Wäscheständer ausgestattet, dazu Gläser und Besteck. Am Morgen wurde Kaffee angeboten, den konnten wir im Freien genießen. Das Zentrum von Luz mit vielen Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und dem Strand ist in ca. 12-15 min zu Fuß erreicht, eine Pizzeria sogar nur in 8-10 min. Auf dem Fishermanstrail ist dies eine tolle Auszeit zwischen den beiden letzten, nicht so weiten Etappen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Det ligger lidt i udkanten af byen i et villakvarter ud til en vej med en smule trafik støj, men ellers meget fredeligt og roligt. Kan anbefales at have bil for at kunne køre ind til byen og stranden.

Reviewed Oct 15, 2025Wir haben 6 Nächte im Aurora Sol übernachtet und waren rundum zufrieden. Von der Kontaktaufnahme, zum persönlichen check in lief bereits alles bestens. Die Sauberkeit dieses kleinen Hotels ist herausragend. Die täglich gereinigten Zimmer, sowie der Pool und alles rundherum. Es gibt kein Apeisenangebot vor Ort dennoch haben wir jeden Morgen auf dem Balkon ein Frühstück genossen, denn: - es wird morgens in der Lobby Kaffee angeboten - die Zimmer haben einen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und sogar Teller, Tassen, Gläser und Besteck Nach Luz hinein gibt es mehrere Wege zu laufen, die ca. 20 - 25 Min dauern. Ein Auto ist trotzdem empfehlenswert, denn an der Küste entlang gibt es viel zu entdecken. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für den gelungenen Urlaubsstart und den erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Not too many tourist, just 11 minutes drive from Lagos. The entire area was great if you're looking for relaxation but also if you want to do sport and seek entertainment. Reviewed Oct 10, 2025Allt var helt perfekt! Väldigt fina rum och poolområdet var trevligt med massor av solstolar och mysigt lounge område. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och service minded. Närmsta byn med massor av restauranger var max 15 minuters promenad ifrån vilket var super. Det fanns även en väldigt trevlig pizzeria med annat mat bara 5 minuter ifrån. Finns absolut ingenting att klaga på!! Rekommenderar starkt det här boendet :).

The host was incredibly kind and approachable—so sweet that he got up immediately to help us with our very heavy luggage! The women who cleaned the rooms were also very lovely. The garden was very pleasant, although the pool water was a bit cold—but we were there in October, so maybe that’s why. Apart from that, I had a really wonderful time here. Thank you!

Prachtig zwembad met ligbedden in de zon en een lounge deel in de schaduw. Ook zwembad area is mega schoon. Ontzettend aardige beheerder die tips geeft over de omgeving. Elke dag wordt de kamer schoongemaakt en alles keurig neergelegd. De lokatie is top. Op een kwartier loopafstand diverse restaurants en het strand. Met de auto talloze andere stranden en plaatsen aan te doen. Het voelen ons hier helemaal thuis. Graag tot volgend jaar!
Bij het zwembad hoor je de weg een beetje maar op de kamers niet.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2025The pool was great, even though we only used it once. The staff are very helpful. Coffee in the morning was a nice touch. A/C worked well, very clean, house keeping everyday. Close to Luz/Lagos and beaches for all your needs. Nice to have parking as well. Also the Bed was awesome.
Could have used an iron for clothes.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025Super Zimmer, mit Kühlschrank und etwas Geschirr. Morgens gab es gratis Kaffee. Am Pool hat man immer eine freie Liege gefunden. Die Anlage war allgemein sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Die angrenzende Straße war relativ stark befahren.
