Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Ondanks dat het niet druk was, werd er ruim voldoende klaargezet, zodat er keuze te over was. De persoonlijke aandacht/berichten bij aankomst en bij vertrek waren heel lief.
Eigenlijk niets! Alles was netjes, schoon en heel. Kamer had misschien een beetje groter gekund. Maar alles was er netjes in weggewerkt.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel entrance until the moment you leave, you get the feeling that you are the most welcome guest. Everything is handled there in a personal way, they pay attention to the smallest details and it is felt everywhere. Pleasant, quiet and warm, you get a great feeling there. They are happy to help with anything and always willingly and with a smile. The breakfast is great and very varied and the table reserved for you does not have a room number but your name. The room is nice and comfortable and the hotel is a short distance from Stadthalle and Obertraun They have a fantastic restaurant whose chef is the father and it is 200 meters from the hotel. We highly recommend this place, without a doubt VFM

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Hotel Kerschbaumer is a wonderful family hotel located in the heart of the beautiful Salzkammergut. It's a great place to take a star-shaped trip in the area, both in winter and in summer. My girlfriend and I arrived almost at midnight, and we still received a warm welcome at the hotel. The view from the window in the morning was breathtaking, coupled with the rustling of water in the nearby stream, and the nights we stayed were calm and romantic. The breakfast was great with an amazingly tasty bread, butter, and jam (among other things).
I really did like everything. It's not a 5-star hotel in a top location, but maybe that's exactly its charm.

A decent breakfast and the highest quality local spring water in the room. We really appreciated the sauna, which we had to ourselves with a beautiful view and a chance to chill out outside.
A kettle in the room would have been appreciated.

Dobrá silná presso káva pri raňajkách, veľmi zlatí personál a v deň odchodu pri raňajkách na stole nás čakal poďakovací odkaz s dvoma čokoládkami za to, že sme boli hosťami. Bolo to veľmi milé od nich,za čo aj touto cestou ďakujeme! Vrelo odporúčam, nebudete sklamaní!

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Sehr schönes, großes und gepflegtes Zimmer. Wir waren im 3. Stock, der mit dem Lift leicht erreichbar war. Auch das Badezimmer und die Dusche waren groß und top sauber. Die Hotelbesitzer waren sehr zuvorkommend und engagiert. Das Frühstück hatte alles was wir gerne essen. Unsere Räder konnten wir im Skiraum verstauen und dort auch aufladen. Alles liebevoll dekoriert und viele Vorschläge für Ausflüge. Gratis Badeteich in der Nähe.
Der Ausgangspunkt für Radausflüge ist weniger optimal, da von dort nicht direkt ein Radweg ist.

Bei Fragen standen zu Ausflugstipps stand die Familie zur Verfügung. Hervorragende Weine und in der Weinstube ist das Essen ausgezeichnet! Das Hotel wurde schon an Freunden empfohlen! Dlouho jsem nezažil, abych s personálu cítil to, že jsou rádi, že jsme u nich ubytování. Hned po příjezdu nás čekal Welcome drink jejich vlastní pálenky. Na pokoji voda, čokoláda na posteli. Krasně uklizený a voňavý pokoj!

Každého hosta jmenovitě vítají na tabuli před hotelem a při odjezdu se zas loučí ručně napsanym vzkazem u snídaně. V dnešní době velmi milé, jde vidět, že si hostů váží. Ubytování čisté, pohodlné. Snídaně vynikající, hostům dělají čerstvá vejce nebo uzeninu na přání. Nádherný wellness, kde jsme v sauně byli i jednou sami. Za nás se určitě rádi vrátíme. 👌👍

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Hotel je hezký, ale je to hotel jako ubytovací zařízení, nemá mnoho dalších služeb, i když se snaží některé nevýhody kompenzovat. Například jsme dostali k dispozici skříňku na lyže na nástupce lanovky, ale nejsou tam sušiče bot. Na hotelu se podávala snídaně, která byla standardní, veřeře nám byly nabídnuty v hotelu v dochozí vzdálenosti. Přímo u hotelu je zastávka skibusu, ten nejezdí příliš často, ale není přeplněný. Pěšky je to na lanovku asi 12 minut chůze. V hotelu je odpoledne k dispozici kavárna. Byla nám nabídnutá i sauna, ale tu jsme nevyužili. Lyžařské středisko je pěkné, to jsme si užili. Přímo v městečku není žádný supermarket, ale kousek od hotelu je krámek se smíšeným zbožím, kde si nakoupíte, co potřebujete. Cenově byl pobyt také přiměřený.
Nedá se říct, že by se nám něco úplně nelíbilo, majitelé se snaží, aby hosté byli spokojeni a nabízí řešení k vylepšení komfortu hostů. Trochu se nám nechtělo chodit na večeři ven z hotelu, ale jinak pobyt hodnotíme kladně.

I am being quite picky, but I always like a coffee machine in a hotel room. However, I haven't seen this in the hotels in Russbach so I wasn't expecting it! I like to get up early and go running before breakfast starts (I did this three times during our stay) and it would have been lovely to have had a coffee beforehand.
