Very grand looking manor style house, extremely comfortable bed, spacious with well appointed interior. Plenty of parking!

Needed some R&M with chipped paint, worn carpet and minor items needed some TLC that caught the eye

This is such a fantastic place. The hosts have thought of everything - there’s nothing missing. Super comfy good sized room with lovely bathroom, fridge and other details. The shared kitchen and lounge are huge with lots of cosy nooks. It makes you feel totally at home. There’s a big patio and garden and even laundry facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean. Hosts go above and beyond to make sure guests feel looked after. There are tons of lovely details. Even a fridge with food and wine available to help yourself.

It was excellent for us, quiet and private. Great parking and a bonus was being pet friendly. Our flight got cancelled and they accommodated us at short notice without any problem, travelling with pets is stressful but Jennifer made it easy and stress free.

It was a delightful change from the ordinary hotel. The room was more than adequate but it also offered excellent communal lounge and catering/breakfast facilities for just a handful of guests. The result was a very sociable atmosphere which you could take or leave. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening. They went above and beyond to forward a jacket I stupidly left hanging in a wardrobe. No fuss and no fee! That’s real customer care and personal service which is what they are all about. The grounds are delightful too.

Clean and spacious with great laundry facilities and plenty of car parking. A huge house.

The residents of the house changed constantly so it could all seem a bit impersonal.

Die Lodge liegt zwischen Queenstown und Arrowton, an der Autobahn aber die ist etwas zurückgesetzt auf einem großen, schönen Grundstück, so dass kein Autolärm zu hören war. (Unser Zimmer ging allerdings auch nach hinten raus). Die Lodge ist sehr gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet mit einer großzügigen Gemeinschaftsküche. Sehr atmosphärisch und elegant, erinnert sie an ein englisches Landhaus. Essen und Einkaufen kann man im nahegelegenen Flughafenviertel "Frankton". Das ist eine etwas sterile Neubausiedlung um den Flughafen von Queenstown aber man findet nette Restaurants und Supermärkte und kann sich gut versorgen.

Eine - sonst übliche - Besuchermappe mit Informationen über Möglichkeiten, Essen zu gehen und Einzukaufen oder Aktivitäten in der Umgebung zu machen, wäre schön gewesen. Obwohl die Logde wirklich schön ist und definitiv über dem üblichen Standard liegt, fanden wir sie doch sehr teuer.

Beautiful location, really lovely lodge type property. Really quiet area, warm room.

I think we had an average room and I think there are nicer ones. Photos are a bit limited on the website. We liked it overall but there was some weird things that were annoying… the kettle that has to be used in a little wardrobe, there’s no dresser or a mirror in the bedroom (we did get a wine barrel?!) -plenty of empty space in the room but o useful furniture to put stuff on, heat pump sits right above the bed - had to turn it off at 1am due to noise. No actual tv with Freeview channels, there was a tv in the room but you had to stream from your device, you couldn’t just put on tv to catch the news for example without a heaps of phaff. For the price I would have expected those things.

Breakfast was there to help yourself too, also snacks and wine. Fully equipped kitchen and lounge, dinning and snug with library. Very quiet warm rooms, heater was on, fudge beside the bed. Nice and secluded and private. Lovely welcoming host Jennifer. The bonus for me was able to bring our dog as my Husband was in Hospital and it was nice to have him with me instead of in the car most of the time.

The location is perfectly just out of the busy town areas making it perfect for a quiet relaxing stay, the kitchen was stocked with so many goodies even though I was happy with a hot coffee each morning, couldn't have been better we loved everything

I was happy with everything but if I were to dislike something I would say just having instant coffee would be nice as I'm not very tech savvy with the nespresso machines but I figured it out!

We loved our two-night stay here! The rooms were quiet, spacious and clean and the common areas were lovely. The hot tub was a highlight on a chilly night! Our host, Jennifer, was very responsive and made sure we had all we needed. Perfect location to explore the region around Arrowtown. Would definitely stay here again!

We had booked one room and then added another night that made us move a room. The first room was absolute amazing. Bath, great place and a lot of room for a couple without feeling claustrophobic. Shower was amazing, high pressure and great water. In both rooms the beds were very comfy Second room had great views to the mountains which adds a lot in the morning There is a shared kitchen and living room for all the rooms together, laundry was great, hot tub as well! Thank you so much for everything!

Second room had some problems with the shower, we couldn't get hot water although in the sink we had.. In addition the a/c for all rooms is connected to the living room a/c as it is one unit, and we were sweaty in the night and wanted a cold air, we couldn't get any cause the a/c in the living room was on heat...

The lodge is absolutely stunning, fantastic location, wonderful facilities and host was exceptional. Must stay!

They have us a high chair and cot for the baby for a cost 75$ NZ. They had yogurt and tea. The kitchen and common living area was comfortable.

Advertised as bed and breakfast but was not. It was hot. No AC. Hot tub had a huge hair ball. Not great walking paths on a busy road.

Jennifer met us on arrival after a hasty booking on our behalf. Extremely friendly & helpful. A lovely home with grounds to roam. Good facilities in room as well as communal kitchen & longe areas. Quiet area between Queenstown & Arrowtown which is worth the visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended

The facilities to make your own breakfast were fantastic.

Lovely location, out of the noise of Queenstown. Great concept having hotel like rooms and shared kitchen, communal lounge and gardens. Was a lovely surprise to have breakfast and goodies like snacks , herbs for cooking and wine to help yourself to.With a fully stocked kitchen too. Plus a TV room. Really loved the concept and bumping into people in the kitchen also cooking and talking to them about their travels

Jennifer is a very welcoming host, & we were very fortunate to be able to extend our stay. It's a stunning setting, away from the crowds & the location was perfect for our needs. The room was lovely & the bed really comfy!

We loved the setting, easy and safe parking, and the facilities provided in the lodge were all you could wish for. As well as having a spacious tastefully decorated private bedroom/lounge/bathroom (separate shower and huge bath), the extensive communal areas within in the lodge lodge provided several areas where you could relax in peace reading a book, watching TV or just soaking up the sun. These areas lead into an equally spacious and well appointed dining room / kitchen, fully equipped and stocked with all items found in your own homes kitchen drawers. The country-like location just on the outskirts of Queenstown was peaceful and, depending on where you were travelling, negated the queues of slow moving traffic found closer to Queenstown. Jennifer was a great hostess and added her own touch that made you feel welcome, e.g, chocolates on the bedside table, fresh flowers, etc.

Great location … could only stay one night … good for a group … to enjoy all the facilities … large house so hard to keep cosy and warm … next time hope to stay longer and light fire !!

Room did not have a patio as described, it opened to the driveway and carport so curtains cannot be opened so you can’t enjoy the view. Our bathroom had not been cleaned from the last guests unfortunately and owner didn’t reply to our messages about the situation.

Location of the accommodation is beautiful and common areas like Lounge, Kitchen dining etc were very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and supplies for breakfast was a bonus.

The room which we got could have been bigger and side lamps a bit more stable.

This property is kept in perfect condition. Jennifer the host made us feel welcomed and like we were at home. I can’t wait to get back to stay at this beautiful lodge in this serene setting again! Excellent stay at the country lodge! We had the whole house to ourselves and it was so nice to enjoy big full kitchen and make yourself fresh eggs for breakfast, enjoy big luxurious living room, lots of room for our baby to crawl around and explore. We also saw friendly sheep in the morning and it was lovely! Also location is great, especially if you, like us , continue next morning to Aoraki Mountain (Mt.Cook).

Very clean and beautiful property

The owner was lovely and the view and the gardens were spectacular. Breakfast and snacks were provided and there was a comfortable lounge to relax in. Just what I was looking for after a long drive. Short drive into Queenstown or Arrowtown and far enough removed that you enjoy the peace and quiet. Definitely worth a stay.

We have spent time in georgeous places but this one is the absolute best! Not only is the place stunning comfortable, the privacy and accommodation are flawless! This is our favorite place and we intend to stay every time we holiday.

Very expensive for what it is. The Remarkables room had a loud whirring noise (sounded like a water pump) that ran every 5 minutes for 10 seconds. Or sometimes even more frequently. Wouldn’t be surprised if this could be heard in other rooms too. Made sleeping almost impossible so we had to get earplugs. It also didn’t make relaxing in the room enjoyable either. The room was also at the front of the house - which is the driveway - so we felt very exposed when people were coming and going. There was no formal check in - luckily we caught the host’s partner on their way out otherwise we would have been a little lost on what room we had etc. This also meant that payment wasn’t taken and had to be organised after we left which proved difficult to resolve.

Everything was amazing, and perfect to the last detail.
