Die Villa an sich ist schon sensationell, die Lage überdies außergewöhnlich und die Freundlichkeit sowie der Service sind hervorragend. Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zu Port Launay! Wenn wir wieder nach Mahé kommen, dann werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder eine der Villas de Jardin buchen.

Es gab nicht die geringste Kleinigkeit auszusetzen.

La vue est superbe,, le logement est grand et décoré avec goût. La literie est bonne et le lit à l'extérieur est incroyable pour lire avec le bruit des vagues. La personne qui nous a accueilli est disponible et agréable. L'accès au Morne Seychellois est rapide en voiture.

Prix élevé selon nous. Certaines ampoules ne marchaient pas, le WiFi était défectueux, une plaque électrique également, l'éclairage de la piscine ne fonctionne pas non plus. Pour accéder côté ouest de l'île, il faut traverser l'île et on met facilement 30 à 40 minutes.

Вілли de Jardine розташовані на горі із видом на океан. Вони передають автентичну атмосферу острову, у інтерєрі присутній камінь та дерево. Панорамні вікна дають простір та неймовірні краєвиди. Кондиціонери полегшать сприйняття спеки. Ми проживали у віллах 6 та 7. Комфорт, чистота. Окремо виділю басейн, що приносив задоволення у вечірній час.

До вілл зауважень немає, вони - моє захоплення. Єдине це їх розташування у Port Glaud, де обмежена інфраструктура та нерозвинена берегова лінія. Тому ми брали на прокат автівку і обїжджали пляжі та трейлові стежки.

Ubytování je v krásných prostorných vilách na stráni s krásným výhledem na moře. Kuchyňka je velmi dobře vybavená a můžete zde uvařit cokoli Vás napadne. Všechny pokoje jsou velmi prostorné, včetně velké koupelny, zde nás velmi zaujala i doplňující venkovní sprcha, kdy se po návratu z pláže můžete venku osprchovat a přitom se díváte na palmy v zahradě nebo na moře v zálivu. Ohromila nás velká terasa s jídelním stolem a hlavně postelí, kde můžete přes den a nebo večer relaxovat ve dvou a sledovat třeba západ slunce. Za nás naprosto skvělé ubytování !!!

Es war so wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in dieser Unterkunft. Für uns waren die Abende auf unsere Terrasse ein Genuss. Wir waren auch jeden Morgen „unten“ am Strand um unser Bad zu nehmen. Ja der Weg war Steil aber die Seychellen sind nun mal bergig. Und es waren auch nur 10 Minuten Rückweg. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, und wir fühlten uns sehr gut Untergebracht. Wir kannten jedoch Port Glaud schon, von früheren Reisen. Vielen Dank an alle!

Beds are too hard.

Es war sehr sauber und jedes Paar hatte einen guten Rückzugsbereich.

Der „Strand“ direkt vor der Anlage war wg. der Beschaffenheit nicht nutzbar. War aber nicht wichtig, da man eh einen Wagen haben musste. Ohne kommt man da nicht oben zu Fuß zu den Appartements.

Die Bilder hatten uns angelockt und wir können nur sagen, dass es in Realität noch schöner ist. Wir hatten die Villa ganz oben auf dem Berg und sind schon mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf Port Glaud aufgewacht. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse lädt dann gleich weiter zum Staunen ein. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal für Wander-/Hiking Touren auf Mahe, da die meisten Trails in unmittelbarer Nähe liegen. Wer das Wasser sucht, der erreicht in wenigen Fahrminuten den schönen Strand von Port Launay. Und wer zudem die einspurige und etwas enge Straße hinter Port Launay nicht scheut, der kann zudem Cap Ternay besuchen. Der Strand ist fast menschenleer und gilt als Geheimtipp zum Schnorcheln.

Incredible views, comfy beds, very clean, good value for money, the manager Altezia was extremely friendly and helpful, always in touch.

The location is far from anything, except for one supermarket. You should have a car or take taxi every time you want to go somewhere (it’s normal for Mahe). Besides the way to each villa is steep with sharp turns, when it rains not all taxi agree to climb the hill. The nearest beach is not really nice, no infrastructure.

Lokalizacja. Niesamowity widok z fantastycznego tarasu. Villa jest naprawdę piękna i przestronna. Pani manager obiektu dbała o nas bardzo, pomogła w rezerwacji restauracji i zawsze była dostępna.

The balcony was to die for. Stunning view of the sea. We had a relaxing and very nice time at the villa. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were huge and beautiful.

The villas are located up high in the hill which makes it a bit difficult to reach the beach. Its also away from majority of attractions and restaurants.

After a polished stay at Constance Mahé, we traded turndown service for tropical independence with six nights at Villas de Jardin in Port Glaud—and we weren’t disappointed. Nestled in lush hills with sweeping views of the bay, our Villa #1 served as a peaceful, private retreat with just the right balance of comfort and autonomy. The villa is spacious and well-equipped for self-catering, though you'll want to plan grocery runs wisely—this isn’t exactly next door to a Carrefour. Still, once stocked, the kitchen handles everything from morning eggs to sunset apéros. And speaking of sunsets: the view from our terrace was easily worth a few minor logistical compromises. The pool is small but elegant—ideal for a refreshing dip after a beach outing or simply lounging with a book in hand. No crowds, no noise, no competing for sunbeds: a rare Seychelles luxury in itself. While it doesn’t compete with a 5-star hotel on service or dining, that’s not the point. Villas de Jardin offers something rarer: space, peace, and the feeling of actually living in paradise for a while—not just visiting it. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who appreciates independence with a view.

Great location and large rooms. Ulrike was excellent and looked after us very well.

Magic view ! Fresh villa ( nr 6 ) close to the pool, magnificent amazing terrace, not at the top but then not so far to climb :) when coming home from restaurants ! Lovely Rieke, always with a smile fixing everything ! The cutest dogs down at the reception ! Also great contacts with drivers - the one we had both to the villas and to our next place were very friendly !

We stayed in a lovely two bedroom villa with an amazing ocean view, exactly as per the photo on Booking. The house was clean, well equipped, with modern and useful facilities and equipment. The team was helpful and responsive. The only thing we did not appreciate was the level of security of the property and the safety of the guests. The villas are quite secluded, embedded on a hill covered with beautiful and quite thick vegetation, and there is no physical barrier for anyone to be able to access the villa garden or the balcony. Lately, theft levels in the Seychelles have been increasing, as a consequence of a rising drug addiction problem among the local population. The villas management clearly informed us that we need to lock the house and turn on the security system when we are out and as well at night while we are inside sleeping. Taking precautions is always a good things, we did not mind and readily followed the instructions, however the problem for us came when we realized that: 1. The house security alarm system is not in fact connected to anybody - not the police, not a security company, so basically, burglars can come, the alarm will sound, if someone hears it and comes to help - good, if not, we are on our own. 2. There is nobody around - the reception is only populated a few hours during the day, and the rest of the time there is nobody around - no security guard on duty or at least someone who can hear if the alarm sounds and call the police. Indeed, we were instructed how to lock and turn the alarm on, and we were given the number of the local police department, yet I did not feel safe, particularly at night, while us and the kids were sleeping in the house, thinking that someone can break in…

Unbelievable panoramic view, the generous deck, spacious rooms, very comfortable bed all set in beautiful gardens with the infinity pool which if perfect for cooling-off.

It’s a steep drive up to the apartment but you soon get the hang of it. They do need to provide more adequate lighting by the bed if you want to read…

The outdoor shower is a great addition to the villa, so you can wash off the sand after returning from the beach. Everything was perfect ( Service, kitchen , terrace view , sea view , swimming pool , outdoor shower , WiFi, hot water, cold ac , clean ) nearby to super market and some restaurants Special thanks to the hotel manager ( Tereza ) for the great service. She was helping us with restaurants reservations and car rental and also she surprised us with room decoration after my wedding . We will visit there again

Everything! Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the whole stay. From the hospitality of the staff, cleanliness, fresh free coconuts anytime, the view, the villa, the beach and the cutie tortoises + puppies!

The manager was very nice and helpful, and the villa itself is good.

The self-catering villa implies that you can buy food or go to the restaurants nearby. Well, for the food it was difficult since only one grocery store is nearby, but you can’t find there good quality food. As for the restaurants, a very pricy Del Place restaurant is a 10 min walk from the villa, but it seems to be the only option since the hotel restaurants wouldn’t accept non-residents.

Views were amazing. Stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and it was beautiful with a huge balcony.

Can’t be avoided for the views but the hill is quite steep. Again, for the stellar views you can’t expect anything less than having to make the climb.

The villa was beautiful, even better than in the pictures. The view was amazing and sunset from the terrace was breathtaking. The service was great and the host very kind and helpful. We would definetely come back.

The biggest advantage of this place (villa nr 8 at the very top) is nice view and spacious terrace with comfortable seating. It’s very clean and surroundings are well maintained, property manager is friendly and flexible.

Air conditioning is only in bedroom and can be switched on only when you are home. This was not well described and I would not rent this place if I knew it in the first place as the apartment gets very hot incl. everything what is inside. Water kettle is very old and used with burned bottom, should be exchanged.

We loved the house, very clean and comfy; Pemma was amazing, takes really good care of the guests! Even let us have fruit from the property. Super friendly staff, thank you Lindy and Robin.

I travelled solo to the Seychelles and stayed at the Villas de Jardins. Pemma was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and helped to arrange transport for me if needed, around the island. She also purchased cupcakes and chocolate for all of the guests in celebration of Christmas day, which was very sweet! I will say that having a car is Definetly needed to get to the beach, which is 5 minutes away, or any other areas. I loved the villa and the property surrounding it and I look forward to staying here again when I return in a few months. I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the Seychelles.

Absolutely stunning place to stay if you're looking for a naturally beautiful place to relax, unwind and enjoy some stunning vistas. The 3 weeks spent there will never be forgotten! thank you to all the staff who were amazingly friendly, helpful and for inviting us to share an evening with you for the Kreol festival which was fantastic (amazing food, drink, entertainment and company!). A tip for diners, Del Place is fantastic nearby and you can also eat in any of the restaurants at Constance Ophelia as a non staying guest. I could not possibly recommend the place any higher!

The view & terrace are hard to beat here. Beds were comfortable, and the power shower superb after a days exploring. Apartment’s manager put on a soirée one evening with local food, a Seychellois band. It was nice to meet others staying in the villas & hear some local music ☺️ Small but lovely infinity pool with a view- very nice at the end of the day. The ladies cleaned the apartment daily. Beautifully clean with fresh beach towels supplied every day.

No washing machine or iron/ironing board in room. You can take it to reception and they will do a load or two for you for a small fee. A couple of extra pillows would have been useful.

Villas de Jardin was our third and last location on the island and literally saying it was the cherry on the top! The view from the terrace was absolutely stunning. The stuff is very friendly and hospitable, we felt like at home. Everything was totally clean! Air-condition was working properly. The bathroom is very big and comfortable , with the ocean view. We'd recommend the most delicious restaurant nearby ( 5 min by car) Pricy, but it's worth trying it!!! Del Place

The cleaning staff sometimes came before 11:00 and were reluctant to return at a later time.

Very cozy villas with a stunning view over the Indian Ocean coast - the terrace is a real treasure, several nice beaches (including Theresa island) and a waterfall are located nearby and great host - Pemma!

You need to cross the road to access the beach, but it’s relatively quiet

I think this Location is one of the most beautiful ones of Mahé. We stayed here two weeks for our Honeymoon and we hat an incredible time. The view was unbelievable. We coudn‘t imagine a better view. And also the service was more than great. We would recommend everyone who visits the Seychelles to stay here for even a day. We also got a nice suprise for our Honeymoon. And the receptionist Pemma made our stay more special. She was always there when we needed any tips and she also organized our daytrips. Her service was outstanding. We loved how she took care of all her guests with her heartwarming and kind behaviour. We will definitely come back and stay at Villas de Jardin for our next Trip and hope to see Pemma again.

We had an amazing experience at Villa de Jardin. The pool is amazing and has a stunning view. The host was really helpfull and reacts quickly!

You need to walk up stairs to come at the villa. Its not that big of a deal for me, but for other people it might be a problem. You can ofcourse rent a car to drive up the hill in stead of walking.

The staff were very friendly, location is convinient, one very good restaurant nearby. The villa was smartly build, everything works, beautiful views

Warm reception and explanatory tour on arrival, superb accomodation with lots of space and jaw dropping views from the huge balcony. And finally the internet connection via WiFi. Was very good

The price of the view is the need to drive / walk a seriously steep hill to the villa. I was uncomfortable driving this and embraced walking up as part of my fitness program. The hugely helpful accommodation manager drove my wife up several times (we are both 75). All this turned a potential negative into a strong positive.

Villas are clean and spacious. Each villa provides an amazing view. The sounds of the waves at night is something I'll never forget. Great powerful and warm shower Location is unique and off the beaten track (can be positive and negative, as staying here demands hiring a car) wifi was great - I read a lot of negative comments about slow wifi, but it was actually fine!

The nearby restaurants offer average food and are insanely overpriced (even by Seychelles standards) Special mention to the Island Cafe who seem to be charging locals different prices than tourists. Visiting this cafe was the low point of my trip Lack of well equipped supermarkets nearby - which limits self catering options

Les plus : Vue sur l’océan époustouflante, très bel hébergement , piscine à débordement très agréable. Les moins : Qualité du Ménage quotidien très moyenne.Vous décidez une grasse matinée, pas de ménage : A partir de 11 heures, c’est terminé. Aucun service le dimanche non plus. Dommage pour une location à un tel prix . Les nuits ne sont pas calmes : les chiens en contrebas des locations font des vocalises du coucher au lever du soleil. Cet hébergement sur Mahé, contrairement à nos deux autres hébergements sur Praslin et la digue, ne nous laisse pas un souvenir impérissable, autant sur le plan logistique qu’humain.

Beautiful and very spacious villa uphills in the west coast of Mahé. Well furnished villa with style (beddings, living rooms, balcony with many trendy wooden items) and confortable for 2 or even 4. We enjoyed our stay facilitated by Ulrike despite few rainy days. Very easy communication with host who arranged our car rental as well directly at the villa. The villa is surrounded by a garden and wild palm trees.

The location make the car rental a must! it’s located a bit far away from any other attractions or beaches (need to count 30min at least to reach a lively place, south, east or north). the drive to reach there is very scenically however a bit unpleasant at night (lack of public lighting on the park). Also lack of near by options for breakfast (you’ll have to cook your eggs yourself 😀)
