Cashew Nut Grove Chalets

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Cashew Nut Grove Chalets. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und idyllisch inmitten tropischer Natur und ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um Mahé zu erkunden. Besonders gefallen haben uns die wunderschöne Anlage, der tolle Pool und die Ruhe. Alles war sauber und gepflegt und wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Am Ankunftstag war sogar der Kühlschrank gefüllt! Eine klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Very nice, quiet place in the jungle. Very well maintence garden around and swimming pool. There are around 7 chalets with nice, big tarrace. Feels very prive and close to nature. At the arrival we receive a complimentary food for breakfest in our fridge which was very kind. Highly recommended if you look for a quiet place and like nature.

Die herzliche Begrüssung durch Alexandra, der Kühlschrank ist bereits gefüllt mit allen wichtigen Lebensmitteln für das Frühstück. Der Pool war sehr schön gelegen, man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Die Terrasse war ebenfalls sehr schön und einladend. Wir können diese Unterkunft bestens weiter empfehlen.

Wir hatten ein Häuschen umgeben von Blumen und Pflanzen ganz für uns allein. Helle freundliche sehr saubere Wohnung, liebevoll gestaltet. Sehr freundliche Begrüssung von der Vermieterin. Die Lage ist ausgesprochen günstig, wenn man im Nationalpark wandern möchten. Der große Strand Grand Ansehen ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und kaum besucht.

Es hat uns alles gefallen! Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Ein traumhafter Ort um zu relaxen und die Natur zu geniessen. Alexandra ist als Gastgeberin sehr unterstützend und hilfsbereit. Der Pool und die Unterkunft ist gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Danke.

Excellent séjour dans ce lieu à la fois paisible et luxuriant. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le professionnalisme d’Alexandra et Jerry, dont l’accueil a été remarquable. Ayant choisi de nous déplacer en bus, nous avons bénéficié d’un accès très facile, à seulement cinq minutes à pied. Dès notre arrivée, Alexandra s’est montrée absolument formidable en nous proposant spontanément de nous conduire à la supérette : une attention des plus appréciables. Alexandra et Jerry ont su nous renseigner avec beaucoup de bienveillance et d’efficacité tout au long de notre séjour. Nous recommandons vivement ce chalet confortable, impeccablement propre, et idéal pour un séjour des plus agréables.

We really loved this little paradise in the jungle, but few minutes of driving to wonderful beaches At the arrival we found little food and complimentary things things for breackfast, really unexpected and very appreciated after log trip. The experience, exceed our expectation, thank you Alexandra !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour ! Le logement est spacieux et très bien équipé, Alexandra est extrêmement gentille et serviable, le site est calme et à proximité de villages et lieux que nous avons trouvés très authentiques par rapport à d'autres endroits de l'île de Mahé.

Une petite déception avec la taille du lit (qui était un 120). Mais nous avons constaté que d'autres logements de l'établissement avaient un très grand lit. Il reste donc à Alexandra à changer le lit du logement où nous avons séjourné !

It was beautiful. Well maintained. A great maintained pool. Alexandra the owner was extremely helpful. She gave us quite a few starter kitchen supplies too. She allowed us a little late check out as well.

It was 30 minutes drive from the main city. This property is difficult to access without personal transport. The mattress was a bit old. Rest everything was perfectly maintained

In der Nähe vom Grand Anse, 25 min von Victoria entfernt liegt dieses Hidden Gem. Es erwartet die Gäste jeweils eine geräumige, Wohnung mit großzügigen Balkon und Blick in den Garten und auf den Pool - absolutes Dschungelfeeling. Alles ist sehr sauber, in dem großen Bett lässt es sich wunderbar schlafen und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alexandra bestückt den Frühstück bei der Ankunft mit einer Grundausstattung. Das ist super! Die Kommunikation mit Alexandra über den booking-Messanger und später WhatsApp lief tadellos. Absolute Empfehlung!

Very nice place. Comfortable house with a swimming pool in the jungle. The house has a full equipped kitchen: big fridge, oven, microwave, electric stove, dishes, washmachine. Clean and cozy. Large tarace. The owner Alexandra is very nice and helpful. There is a bus stop near the house. In Cashew Nut Grove Chalets. we spent two weeks. We recommend this place7

Un très beau hébergement en pleine nature et avec une jolie piscine. On regrette le manque d'insonorisation (voisins et chiens) et le manque de rideaux opaques. C'est 2 choses ne viennent pas ternir la superbe qualité de ce logement. Merci

Beautiful setting, very nice chalets, terraces at the level of tree tops and welcoming hosts. The place is even better than you can see on the pictures. A very nice touch - you get some supplies in the fridge to get you going even though breakfasts are not included.

Perfect location, just a short distance from the best beach on the island. A car is needed. Very quiet — you wake up to the sound of birds singing. It feels like living in the jungle. Everything is clean and fully equipped with all you need. Alexandra is very kind and even bought us fruits on request. Thank you! We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Bardzo piękny widok z tarasu usytuowanego w pokoju z widokiem na basen. Mozna było poczuć się jak w dżungli. Codziennie można było obserwować różne ptaki, których nie widziałam w innych częściach Mahe.

Es war genau nach meinem Geschmack. Die Chalets waren komplett für Selbstversorger ausgestattet. Sogar eine Waschmaschine gab es. Der große Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft schon gefüllt. Es gab einen Backofen, Eine Mikrowelle sowie ein 4 Platten Kochfeld und Spüle. Geschirr ,Pfanne und Kochtöpfe usw. Klimaanlage, eine riesige Terrasse, einen Pool. Und vor allen Dingen einen wunderschönen Garten. Die Gastgeberin hat mich sogar gefahren und wunderschöne Orte gezeigt. Es war eine tolle Zeit der Erholung.

Die Behördliche Einreise Kontrolle mit der Bedingung auf Festlegung einer Unterkunft während des gesamten Aufenthalt.

Wunderbar gelegen in einem Urwald mit komfortablen Bungalows, die ein Maximum an Komfort gewährleisten. Die grossen Schiebetüren mit Blick ins Grüne sind ein Highlight. Alexandra ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin und wir möchten wieder zurückkommen, so schön war es da.

Ohne Auto ist man etwas aufgeschmissen, Alexandra hat uns äusserst freundlich unterstützt und dafür gesorgt, dass wir einkaufen und schnorcheln konnten. Für längere Aufenthalte empfiehlt sich aber ein Auto, dann kann die Gegend besser erkundet werden.

Chalet bellissimo, spazioso, pulito e con tutto il necessario. Qualsiasi nostra richiesta è stata prontamente esaudita. Apprezzatissimo il frigo pieno (free of charge) con il necessario per fare colazione e molto di più. Ottima anche la presenza della lavatrice in bagno.

La strada per arrivare non è bellissima, un po' stretta ed in salita ma viene totalmente ripagata dagli chalet immersi nella tranquillità e nella giungla.

Die Lage in der Natur inmitten eines tropischen Waldes mit schönen Pflanzen und Blumen. Die Villen sind gut ausgestattet, wunderbarer Balkon mit Esstisch und Liegestühlen. Von dort aus haben wir so viele Vögel gehört und gesehen wie nirgendwo sonst auf den Seychellen. Gutes WLAN, Fernseher mit einigen ausländischen Programmen, unter anderem ZDF. Der gepflegte, jederzeit zugängliche Pool ist ein Pluspunkt. Empfehlenswert ist die Buchung der Chalets mit Poolblick. Mit dem öffentlichen Bus erreichbar, der letzte fährt allerdings schon ca.19 Uhr. Die Haltestelle befindet sich an der nahegelegenen Hauptstraße, etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Mitnahme größerer Gepäckstücke wird vom Busfahrer evtl. nicht akzeptiert. Falls man nicht sowieso einen Mietwagen hat sollte für die An- und Abreise deshalb ein Taxi oder Transfer gebucht werden. Zum Flughafen kostet dies ca. 32 €. Sehr freundliches und immerzu hilfsbereites Personal. Sollte in den Chalets doch mal etwas fehlen, z.B. in Bezug auf Küchenausstattung kann es Alexandra sicherlich zur Verfügung stellen, sie wohnt nebenan. Ein neu eröffneter Supermarkt mit gutem Sortiment befindet sich an der Hauptstraße vor Port Glaud, er ist in vielen Routenplanern noch nicht erfasst. Strandempfehlung : Port Launay Beach mit guten Schnorchelmöglichkeiten. Dieser grenzt an ein Resort, ist aber frei zugänglich. Er ist ebenfalls per Bus zu erreichen, in ca. 10 Minuten. .

Vistas increíbles, trato inmejorable y un sitio muy cómodo para parejas o grupos pequeños. Nos dejaron desayuno en la nevera para varios días e incluso nos esperaron porque llegamos varias horas mas tarde de la hora del check-in.

Está lejos del centro y si no llevas coche es difícil llegar

Отдельные бунгало в горах. Один общий бассейн, рабочий, чистый. Ухоженная территория, вся в зелени. В домике: кухня, гостиная, спальня и с/у. Есть стиральная машина, кондиционер, печка+ СВЧ на кухне. В холодильнике -заботливо приготовленный Александрой набор на первый Завтрак: молоко/кофе/яйца,хлеб/масло/сыр. С учётом удаленности от магазина- это большой плюс. Чистое постельное бельё+полотенца. Есть сейф. Кто-то ранее в отзывах писал про неудобные матрасы: на мой взгляд,наоборот,очень удобные (да,они мягкие, но я прям как в облако ложилась ☺️)

Учитывайте удаленность от магазинов и мест готовой пищи. И да-на авто приоритетнее добираться. Пожелание к Александре: на всех табличках-указателях стрелочку покрасьте в белый цвет (а то она сливается на темном фоне).

Alexandra at Cashew Nut Grove is offering great support and is always helping on every request above and beyond expectations. Our chalet was perfect and also with an amazing terrace.

The room is clean and comfortable, the kitchenette is well equipped and the bathroom is spacious with nice hot water in the shower and a washing machine! The balcony is so lovely. It’s quiet and peaceful and easy to access great beaches if you have a rental car. Highly recommend, we loved our stay here!

Las casitas son comodísimas, puestas con gusto y al detalle. La zona de la piscina preciosa. El trato con Alexandra y Jerry ha sido como estar en casa, muy amables y atentos en todo momento. Zona súper tranquila para desconectar!

Everything was absolutely perfect! I would like to thank Alexandra and Jerry for their warm welcome, their kindness and their availability. The chalet is sublime, the view of the rainforest is incredible. I'm sorry I didn't stay longer, it's a real corner of paradise here. The facilities are of a very high standard and the pool is very pleasant. You can really enjoy nature here. Port Launay beach is nearby, as is the magnificent Morne Seychellois hike. I advise you to stay as long as possible in this establishment 😉

I’ve stayed in many self catering places both in the Seychelles and elsewhere in the world. This is simply the best. I was made most welcome by Alexandra. The chalet was wonderful and in a very quiet location a short drive to my favourite snorkelling spots - Port Launay and Baie Ternay

Very clean and spacy own house with amazing view on the own jungle and pool which is daily maintained by the team. Host was very flexible with check in and check out. I highly recommend this chalet!

I liked everything about this place, the chalets are supernice, they were surrounded by a beautifull plants and trees from the garden and they have a very cool terras that overlooks the garden and the realy nice pool where you can cool down on a hot day and chill! I liked the fact that you could see the local wildlife in the garden, from the pool or from your terras! The airconditioning on the room was also a plus it gets the chalet nice and cool. And ofcourse the owner and her team, Alexandra and Jerry, where aboslutely fantastic and really helpfull! I could recommend this place to everyone if you like peace and quiet because it is located on the calm and beautifull side of Mahé but you can get everywhere very easy by car!

The steep driveway to the property but you get used to it pretty fast!

Excellent location to stay for a couple of days. Very beautiful and quite place surrounded by trees and flowers.There was nothing missing, the chalets are very cosy and comfortable and Alexandra, the host is also wonderful. I recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic little chalet with everything you need, even some food and little wine in the fridge. We were very happy we stayed here. Of course you need a car, but you need this at Mahe anyway if you want to see something from the island and not only stay at the beach.

Great host, very welcoming. All is new and very clean. Quiet location with view of the foliage - nice that no trees have been cut down for the property. We loved the fridge already stocked with the basics and some niceties.

Quiet in a nice secluded area, nested in a well maintained luxurious garden

The hotel is new and all the equipment was new and well working. The garden is marvellous. The position is vert good closed to Port Launey and Grand Anse village. The owner Mrs. Alexandra was very polite and welcoming. At the arrival you are provided with food and snacks for a couple of days. Really great and well thought

The beds are not really cosy. The washing machine door continuasly went broken, but fantastic Jerry repaired it all the times.

This place was perfect for what I needed: a quiet, clean, beautiful place with excellent air conditioning and WiFi that worked pretty well considering the property is in the forest. I actually booked this place as a "rest" day and computer work day (after multiple very active hiking days) and it was wonderful for that. I also really appreciated the food that was in the fridge on arrival - and the washing machine. And the quiet.

Excellent host Mr.Mike and his wife were really kind and great and helped us in everything we need from places to visit, taxi , bus routes. Room was fabulous with very good furniture and all utensils. On arrival the host suprised with free bread, fruits, cheese, jam and milk stocked up in fridge.. Location was so awesome on the hills in between jungle.. morning wake was from the birds chirping.. 10 min drive to the best beach in Mahe port launey

Hidden inside a beautifully groomed garden (actually tropical 🌴 forest would do it more justice) Big advantage is the cooling effect of the nearby forest - temperature drop about 5°C compared to open terrain.

A bit too much IKEA for my taste - but that’s whining on a very high level 😅
