Die Lage mit der herrlichen Aussicht ist unglaublich schön. In wenigen Minuten ist man in dem Örtchen Cushendall. Das Frühstück war äußerst liebevoll hergerichtet mit selbstgemachtem Brot, Smoothies, Obstsalat usw. Alles da, was das Herz begehrt, und noch ein bisschen mehr. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, auch wenn wir nur zwei Tage blieben.

We stayed with Olive and James beginning of August this summer. It was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. On arrival we enjoyed a warm welcome with a cup of tea and home made cakes which were delicious. Our room was beautiful, warm comfortable, beautifully furnished and very clean with a spectacular view of the sea, a fantastic location. Olive is well known locally and she was able to book us a table for dinner at Harry’s in Cushendall in the evening. The breakfast choice is amazing for a B&B, Olive and James love to feed their guests. Our stay with them greatly enhanced our holiday experience this year. I would highly recommend staying with them if you are in the vicinity. We will be back!

The minute we arrived we were so well looked after, we were served tea and homemade cake in the lounge, the room was immaculate. Breakfast was fantastic. Our hosts were so helpful, they couldn’t have done any more.

Er kwam helaas maar een miezerstraal water uit de douche en een luchtiger dekbed zou fijn zijn. Wij hadden een erg zware deken. En een iets breder bed zou ook net wat comfortabeler slapen.

The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The breakfast table was classically and very elegantly set. The hostess wanted to make all the guests as comfortable as possible. All the dishes were homemade and fresh.

We are a couple and wanted to put the single beds next to each other, but that wasn't possible.

Olive is a fantastic host. Homemade tea and cakes on arrival. Amazing scenery! Best stay we have had on our Northern Ireland tour by a country mile! Thank you!

Et helt igennem fantastisk B&B. Vi blev forkælet med hjemmebag og te, da vi ankom. Værelset var virkelig lækkert, og sengene var enormt behagelige. Vi delte badeværelse med 1 andet værelse, hvilket fungerede upåklageligt. Det var skønt at have håndvask på værelset.

Olive and James as hosts were the best part of our stay here. We were here 10 days and they made us feel like family! You’re 30-40 minutes from just about anything you’d like to visit. Olive makes amazing breakfasts! (Don’t eat a big dinner). Definitely talk to them about the area; don’t just google things - they’ll give you the best ideas! Rooms were small but beds were super comfortable! We stayed in the room adjacent to the sitting room and dining room and it was pretty quiet. In the bathroom, pull the chain to start shower hot water (on demand shower). Water pressure is low, but it’s super hot! A nice sitting room is available during the day. Olive will make you tea of coffee and bread (she’s a great baker!). Needless to say, you will have amazing views of the countryside and seashore!

We came from a rural part of the US, but this is pretty rural! Teeny tiny roads with no shoulder are tough to get used to. The road up to their place (Cloughs Rd) is the toughest road to navigate. That’s not their fault though, so I guess that shouldn’t be part of the review. But it’s just a caution - drive super duper slow up this road, and when you encounter someone coming the other way, pull off into one of the pull-offs and let them go by. Driving up at night is easier since you can see the headlights. But every road has tall hedges that prevent you from seeing around corners. Just be careful, that’s all. We drove on the Torr Head Road up the coast which was equally scary and did it just fine! The pay-off (view) beats the risk. Just rent the absolute smallest car you can find.

Very lovely host with thoughtful accommodations and delicious breakfast. We tried the full Irish and the bacon banana bread. Tasty, with lots of food - you will not be hungry! The rooms are cozy with nice beds. The shower is a wonderful steam shower, very relaxing after a long cold day. Spectacular host who takes care of her guests. We even came in late and the host was willing to heat up our dinners for us, despite the late hour. We would love to come back if we’re ever in the area again. You won’t regret this lovely little stay!

From the moment we walked in Olive looked after us so well. From the yummy homemade cakes, the offering of lifts into town and the epic breakfast. She even sourced some toothpaste for us as we forgot! We felt so welcome.

In our lifetime of travelling across the world we have never found a better B&B than this. Olive and James are incredibly welcoming, and entertaining. They put themselves out for us to make our stay even better. Their recommendations of where to visit is extensive thanks to their long experience of the area. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the sitting room , where tea and cake is served, is very comfortable. The breakfast is truly unbelievable- an array of home made baking and a great variety of cooked meals - Olive’s cooking is 5*. Cushendall also has an impressive restaurant in Harry’s Bar.

Beautiful view looking across the countryside and down to the bay.Peaceful setting and lovely lounge for guests to relax in.Bedroom was tastefully decorated and en-suite shower room very clean. Olive is very dedicated to making her guests comfortable and greeting you with tea and home baking. Breakfast is a wonderful experience all fresh produce and you must try her homemade bread.

The location is up a steep lane about 5 kilometres from the village. Not ideal for elderly persons, or those who find walking uphill difficult.

Cullentra House is one of the B&B places we have ever stayed. Olive and James are fantastic hosts. We felt so welcome. The room is comfortable and spotless. Olive was kind enough to book and drop us off in town for a drink with our meals. The full Irish breakfast was to die for. We were so impressed with the attention to details Olive and James put into to ensure that we looked after, and that they did so with genuine love at what they do. We highly recommended the experience and would certainly consider coming back again next time we are in Northern Ireland. Thank You Olive and James.

A lovely guest house in a beautiful location. The hosts were so welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very homely. An amazing breakfast with homemade breads, granola and a full Irish breakfast. Highly recommend this little gem in the stunning Glens of County Antrim.

We had a wonderful stay at Cullentra House, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Olive and James made us feel completely at home. They are fantastic hosts, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Their genuine care and attention to detail made our stay truly special. Breakfast was an absolute banquet and more than enough to set you up for the day ahead. A lovely extra touch was Olive’s delicious homemade cakes. If you couldn’t manage it after such a fantastic breakfast, you could take a slice away for lunch! Our room was spotless, very comfortable, well equipped, and cleaned beautifully every day. The location is perfect too – around a mile from the village, in a peaceful and beautiful setting where you can simply sit back and enjoy the stunning views. If you’re looking for a B&B where you’re treated like family and it genuinely feels like a home away from home, then Cullentra House is an absolute must. From the moment we arrived Olive was there to greet us with an offer of tea coffee and homemade fruit cake. After showing us to our room she offered to ring the local restaurant to book a table for us but not only that she insisted that she dropped us off and picked us up! I can honestly say I have never come across this sort of service. Such a kind and helpful lady. The piece de la resistance was the amazing breakfast including many homemade delights. Comfortable elegance. Lovely stay in the Irish countryside. Our host Olive was an absolute delight and so helpful. Tea waiting for us when we arrived and the breakfasts were amazing.

Getting to the B&B was relatively easy, the roads are good, it's situated in a place of outstanding natural beauty with a back drop of the stunning Glens of Antrim. It is well sign posted and there is ample place for parking. The host James greeted us on arrival and showed us around their home and our room. He was very friendly and courteous, he offered us coffee/tea on arrival and kindly gave us a plate of cakes/biscuits and made us feel very welcome. The entire home was spotless clean throughout and offers a calm, peaceful atmosphere, it is tastefully decorated. The ensuite family triple room was very comfortable and a decent size for 3 guests. It offers a beautiful view of Glenariff. The room came equipped with a mini fridge filled with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available to purchase which was very convenient. The bed has a memory foam matress and is very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, towels, toiletries and a hairdryer were provided. The breakfast the following morning was absolutely amazing, I'll leave it as a surprise as it was so well presented and tasted delicious. Olive and James really take excellent care of their guests, they go over and beyond to make sure each and every guest is catered to and made feel special. I would highly recommend to stay here, it's in a prime location within an hour's drive of an array of interesting places and stunning scenery on the North East coast of Northern Ireland. I booked this charming B&B through Revolut stays, the rev points you collect can be used towards the cost of stays which made it very good value for money.

My husband and I recently spent four wonderful nights at Cullentra House Bed & Breakfast in Cushendall, in the beautiful Glens of Antrim, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Our room was beautifully decorated, with an incredibly comfortable bed and stunning views from the bedroom window. It was the perfect place to relax. Breakfast each morning was exceptional, with an extensive menu offering something for everyone. My husband said it was the poshest and nicest breakfast he has ever had! Every meal was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The hosts, Olive and James, were simply fantastic. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with tea and delicious homemade cakes in their lovely sitting room, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. As we didn't have a car, Olive and James couldn't have been more helpful. They were always happy to give us lifts into the village whenever we wanted to go out, and they also kindly drove us into Ballymena. Their generosity and kindness went far beyond what we expected and made our holiday so much easier and more enjoyable. Their warmth, friendliness and genuine hospitality made our stay truly special. It was the best ever accommodation we have stayed at. The best part is the lady who is in charge. Not only the fact that she makes you feel welcome with scones, tea, she also gives helpful tips. The breakfast she offers is simply breathtaking. Great choices of warm breakfast go along with homemade baked goods as well as fresh fruit and great coffee. The view from the location is simply stunning. We can’t wait to go back!

Auf unseren bisherigen Reisen durften wir schon viele wundervolle Unterkünfte kennenlernen, aber das Culletra House B&B war schon etwas ganz Besonderes. Unser Zimmer war zwar nicht groß, aber liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön mit weitem Blick über die grüne Landschaft bis zum Meer hinab. Ein absolutes Highlight hier ist das Frühstück. Man bekommt täglich eine Speisekarte für den nächsten Morgen, wo man dann aus verschiedenen Variationen selbstgebackener Scones, Eierspeisen, Pancakes und Joghurtspezialitäten etwas Passendes aussuchen kann. Wir waren 3 Tage hier und konnten so jeden Morgen etwas Neues probieren. Alles kommt dann sehr liebevoll mit Früchten dekoriert auf den Tisch. Olive kümmert sich sehr emsig um alle Gäste und gab uns viele hilfreiche Tipps für die nähere Umgebung. Auch eine kurzfristige Dinner-Reservierung in „Harry`s Inn“ konnte sie für uns arrangieren. Kostenfreies WiFi und Parken gehören ebenso zum Service. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und wünschen Olive und James noch viele nette Gäste. We have experienced many wonderful places to stay on our travels so far, but Culletra House B&B was truly special. Although our room wasn't large, it was lovingly furnished. The location is stunning, offering sweeping views across the green landscape all the way down to the sea. A real highlight here is the breakfast. Each day you receive a menu for the following morning, allowing you to choose from a variety of options including homemade scones, egg dishes, pancakes and yogurt specialties. We stayed for three days here and so we were able to try something new each morning. Everything is served beautifully presented and garnished with fresh fruits. Olive takes great care of all her guests and gave us plenty of helpful tips for the local area. She even managed to arrange a last-minute dinner reservation for us at "Harry's Inn." Free Wi-Fi and parking are also included.

When we arrived at Cullentra house after a tiring day in the car we were immediately swept into the wonderful hospitality of Olive the owner. We were offered tea and superb home made cake in the very comfortable lounge. It was our first night of an Irish holiday and the best introduction to the friendliness of the people. The bedroom was sumptuous. Breakfast the next morning was something to behold. No wonder Olive has won outstanding prizes as the best B&B. As all the other reviewers have testified it’s spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Could not be improved!

From our very late arrival Olive was generous, warm and helpful. She cooked an amazing breakfast and the homemade baking was a real hit. The view from the breakfast room was incredible and there was a spacious living room to relax in if we had had the time.

Todo cuidado y limpio. La cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas. La ubicación está en un entorno natural precioso. Muy recomendable.

Olive & James who look after you, are so friendly & can not do enough for you. The moment you arrive, the smell of Olives baking greets you as you walk through the front door. The house is spotlessly clean, the rooms comfortable & well presented. The views from the property of the Antrim coastline are amazing & the location for visiting and exploring a lot of the tourist attractions is perfect. Olive goes above & beyond when it comes to breakfast. With an amazing selection on her menu, you won't be disappointed. You won't leave her house hungry in the morning. It's our go to place now when we visit family in Northern Ireland.

We were kindly greeted by Olive with tea and cake which we enjoyed outside with the beautiful view. The family room (sleeping 2 adults 2 children) was spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and enjoyed a fantastic view. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening for a drink chatting to other guests. The breakfast was a particular highlight - delicious food and beautifully presented. I wish I could have eaten it all! We had an appetizer of granola, fresh fruit and a homemade smoothie. Olive then presented a cake stand of cakes and pastries and toast. The full Irish breakfast we had ordered the night before was excellent and the children enjoyed their freshly made pancakes. A lovely stay, ideal for exploring the Glens of Antrim area. We enjoyed the cushendall beach, rock pooling at the harbour and doing the waterfall walk at Glenariff forest. We would recommend Harry's in Cushendall for an evening meal

Cullentra House è un b&b straordinario, gestito da una signora gentilissima. Ci è capitato un ritardo con il volo e siamo dunque arrivati oltre l'orario di check-in, ma ci ha aspettati senza farsi alcun problema, anzi una volta arrivati ci ha tenuto a presentare la struttura, i servizi e prendere le ordinazioni per la straordinaria colazione della mattina dopo. Camera pulitissima e molto bella, vista fantastica delle campagne irlandesi, posizione eccellente se dovete visitare i Glens of Antrim, eventualmente scendendo fino al Gobbins.

Hard to put into words just how good this place is. Easily 5 ⭐ The accommodation, pristine and very comfortable. The location and views are spectacular. The food, just wow! And Olive goes well beyond the 2nd mile to ensure everything is as good as it possibly can be. Excellent on every level. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I stayed whilst on a bike trip with my son. We had a great welcome (including coffee and homemade carrot cake), personal service (including a lift into the village for our evening meal), a comfortable and clean room and an incredible breakfast the next morning.

Just returned from another wonderful staycation with Olive and James at Cullentra House . This was the seventh time and we have already booked again for August. Olive and James are the perfect hosts who go above and beyond to make All their guests feel welcome . Olive's cooking is as good as you would get in any 5* hotel .

It was one of the most amazing stays we have had. The breakfast and cakes were extremely delicious. Leona, The host is the most loveliest lady we’ve met. She made sure we were properly fed and well taken care of while we were there. She serves big pots of tea and coffee with a variety of cakes. She didn’t even bill us for it! The rooms were well kept, spotless and cleaned every day. The B&B is also an all Ireland B&B award winner The view from the property is lovely and is situated in a very peaceful area. We loved every bit of our stay here. Definitely recommend this B&B.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. I’ve stayed here three times before and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. I visit annually for the Northwest 200 bike races, and Olive and James are always exceptional hosts who make you feel completely at home. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower is nice hot. The entire B&B is spotless, with rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels provided, and tea and coffee topped up without fail. Breakfast deserves a special mention — you will not leave hungry. It’s always served on time, cooked perfectly, and there’s plenty of it. Fresh coffee or tea is offered just the way you like it. A consistently outstanding stay, every single time.

Cullentra House in a great location not far from the coast with stunning 360 views around the property. The rooms are very well appointed with everything thing we needed and spotless clean. The atmosphere is lovely with the hosts offering tea and cake on arrival and always at hand to meet all our needs. This is a very quite property to relax in and great value. We will definitely be going back for the 5th time soon💚

We had a 3 night stay in Cullantra House- 5 star hospitality from the moment we arrived- fantastic choice for breakfast - spotlessly clean room & the owners, Olive & James were super hosts - couldn't do enough for us. We would certainly love to make a trip back to Cullentra House - Thank you Olive & James.

Nothing to dislike.

We've just spent 3 nights at Cullintra House. We had 5☆ hospitality from the moment we arrived. From the fantastic views to the cleanliness of the house and of course the fantastic breakfasts that Olive & James provided every morning. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area and would hope to return again. Sean & Trish.

Olive was amazing! So accommodating and helpful. We ended up not being able to get a taxi sorted for the wedding we were attending and she went out of her way to drop us down. The room was lovely, plenty of room for the three of us and en-suite. The breakfast was also exceptional - really good value for money. Had a lovely time - really recommend Cullentra House!!
