It’s a very comfortable and scrupulously clean guest house, run by the lovely Josie, the warmest of hosts and her wonderfully friendly husband and daughter. Breakfast both mornings was fresh and delicious especially Josie’s homemade brown bread and fruit loaf. We very much hope to go back soon!

A wide selection of cereals and some home made breads were just a part of the lovely breakfast. This was the least paid for any of our stays in the Emerald isle and we would have happily paid more in comparison to our other stays.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Oh, everything! The choice of breakfasts, including Josie's homemade wheaten bread, the tranquillity, the views, the local walks and things to see and do. This is one of the most comfortable and peaceful places I've ever stayed, and the hosts, Josie and Gerrard, are wonderful. I spent 12 mights here, sometimes writing and sometimes just looking at things I haven't seen since I was a child, and my partner joined me for the last five. As we left, she said 'We MUST come back here.' I agree. Excellent in every way.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Wonderful host family (mother, father, daughter) who were always very nice, funny, and accommodating. The breakfast was exceptional with a full menu to order off of plus a table set out with fruit, fresh baked breads, juices, etc. the room was excellent with a nice bathroom attached. All in all, a very nice stay here.
The only complaints I have, while not big, are both smell related. First, there was a bit of an overabundant use of fragrances throughout the house and room. Between potpourri, oils, toilet bowl cleansers, and the fragrance used in the wash, it was a bit overwhelming upon arrival giving us a bit of a headache. The host put our pillowcases through the wash without any fragrance which helped somewhat as did having the windows open. The other smell related complaint, which forced us to close the windows a couple of times each evening, was the smoking place was right below our window and would blow in when people were smoking down there. Other than these two small concerns however the place was great!

We met the lovely Josie, her husband Gérard and their daughter Kerry who own and run Garron View, they were so welcoming and nothing was a bother at all. They were so friendly and the atmosphere was so nice. We'll definitely be back and we'll stay longer...

Le petit-déjeuner était incroyable (beaucoup de choix et préparé le matin même). C'était mieux qu'un hôtel classique ! Un vrai sens de l'accueil et du terme "bed&breakfast". Maison dans la campagne proche de Cushendall où se trouve un petit supermarché Spar. A proximité de Glenariff Forest Park où il faut absolument aller randonner pour la beauté du paysage. A réserver en confiance.

We would’ve liked a spot where we could sit outside or inside and have a glass of wine. Minor inconvenience… But I thought I would mention it.
