Pool war nicht so gut für die Gaut

Resort semplicemente magnifico! Avevamo il primo bungalow (numero 15) fronte mare, una posizione a dir poco perfetta, dalle finestre vedevamo il mare e di notte sentivamo le onde; accanto ad esso c'è un'uscita direttamente sulla stradina retrostante che conduce nel cuore del paesino. Stanza bella e confortevole nonostante qualche "ospite" inatteso ma data la posizione nella natura lussureggiante è comprensibile. Doccia immensa a sfioro in muratura. Colazione top in riva al mare con ampia scelta dolce e salata. Accappatoi per la doccia, parei, borse e stuoine per andare in spiaggia. Piscina da lasciare senza fiato, più che stupefacente. Bellissima spiaggia davanti al bungalow. Comodo il trasporto gratuito da e per il porto.

Staff poco caloroso, quando ho chiesto un phon in più (essendo in 4 persone) me l'hanno rifiutato senza venire incontro alle esigenze della famiglia. Bagno della stanza un po' buio.

Mooie plek, prachtige huisjes, goede locatie, vriendelijk personeel. Wij hadden 2 huisjes aan elkaar, perfect als gezin. Je zit aan het einde van een baai. Je kan lopend via het strand, of een klein straatje naar de drukte toe lopen. Veel leuke strandtentjes in de buurt voor een cocktail. Je kan scooters huren bij de accommodatie, zou ik zeker doen.

Dit waren echt de hardste bedden waar ik ooit op heb geslapen. En aangezien dit hotel in meerdere reisblogs staat, zorgt het voor veel (Nederlandse-) gezinnen met kids. Dat viel ons iets tegen (maar dat is persoonlijk). Verder was het ontbijtbuffet best heel druk.

Die Lage vom Bungalow war sensationell. Hatten den Romantik Bungalow gebucht. Würden wir wieder so machen. Personal sehr freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter vom Restaurant sind besonders hervorzuheben.

Der Schiffsverkehr. Ab morgens war ordentlich was los. Ein paar Sonnenschirme am Strand hätte nicht geschadet.

Las camas eran bastante incómodas. Demasiado duras y colchón muy delgadl.

Het bed was wat hard. Er werd niets gedaan aan niet gasten op het strand die wiet aan het roken waren. Wij hebben er zelf iets van moeten zeggen.

mooie huisjes, dicht bij het strand, dicht bij het dorpje, alles goed te doen te voet, mooi en ruim ontbijtbuffet.

als landschapsarchitect zou ik nog meer beplanten rond de palen van de huisjes, dat zou stijvoller zijn. Nu vallen vooral die palen van die huisjes erg goed op. Dan kan je ook niet onder de huisjes kijken en zitten de buizen allemaal goed weggestopt, maar dat is meer een estetische opmerking. Voor de rest is alles mooi verzorgd.

Need to be aware some of the bungalows had a lot of stairs to get up to your room.

The trail was a bit steep down to reception from the rooms and some huts had very steep staircases!!!

C’est grand, très vert et la piscine est bien.

Les chambres sont un peu vétustes. Ne correspond pas à un tarif de 130 euros par nuit surtout en Thaïlande.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Shuttle-service hat immer guet funktioniert. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen und hatte viele Auswahl.

Della struttura mi è piaciuta molto la posizione, comodissima e affacciata su una spiaggia meravigliosa, dove con una semplice maschera a pochi metri dalla riva si possono ammirare dei pesci sorprenditi. Mi è piaciuta molto la stanza in legno scuro e il patio esterno con salottino e lettini a 10 secondi a piedi dalla piscina. Probabilmente la cosa che ho apprezzato di più è la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale, sempre attento e premuroso.

Heel erg lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Personeel extreem behulpzaam en vriendelijk, echt super! Oude houten huisjes die sfeervol zijn. Grote badkamer. Het zwembad was heerlijk en heel leuk voor de kinderen. Vlak voor het resort ligt er een gezonken schip waar je mooi kan snorkelen.

Je zit vlakbij de pier dus veel bootverkeer maar dat is ook wel leuk om te zien.

Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, man müsste alles mal renovieren, Frühstück wurde nach 3 Tagen langweilig, Personal am Pool könnte den Poolbereich aufräumen und die Gäste fragen ob sie was trinken oder essen wollen, statt ins Handy zu gucken.

Bel hôtel confortable avec de jolis bungalows sur pilotis. Très belle et grande piscine. Bon restaurant vue mer et très bon petit déjeuner. La plage au pied de l'hôtel est plutôt jolie, aménagée avec des transats. Possibilité de massages sur place et location de scooters.

La proximité du port, et le personnel de la réception pas très aimable. Le prix des taxis très cher.

De huisjes zijn uitmuntend. Zo mooi en luxe. Van alles voorzien. Zwembaden zijn heerlijk. Strand voor de deur is fijn en mooi snorkelen! Kunt makkelijk lopend naar centrum. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Kortom echt heel fijn gehad.

Was onze duurste accommodatie van de hele reis maar dat merk je in kwaliteit.

Rustige locatie net buiten de echte drukte maar op loopafstand van de winkels en restaurants. Mooie zwembaden. Prima restaurant op een mooie locatie.

Aanvullend aan onze eerdere review; We moesten wisselen van kamer en zouden de tweede keer uitzicht op de tuin krijgen. We kregen echter een nog mooier uitzicht op zee!

Heerlijke huisjes, fijn zwembad, goed restaurant met veel keuze, heel vriendelijk personeel. We arriveerden heel vroeg met de nachtboot en konden na het ontbijt direct (om 8 uur) in onze kamers.

10 uur uit checken is erg vroeg, maar we konden de rest van de dag gebruik maken van het zwembad, douches handdoeken.

Mooie kamers

Our room looked over the sea which was amazing. Good location just a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants of Mae Haad. Excellent food at the hotel’s restaurant.

The shower was very poor - a trickle most of the time and cold. The hotel looked a little bit run down - a bit of renovation is needed.

Good position to relax

Aircon was a challenge in a warm environment...to call guys 12 o click at night not nice...twice

- Sauber, Frühstück gut, Pool gut, Strand am Nachmittag gut, Lage super. Auch ohne Roller zu fahren, alles wichtige zu Fuß zu erreichen. Anlage sehr sauber und alles schön in die Natur integriert.

- Personal unfreundlicher als für Thailand gewöhnlich. Im Restaurant eher aufdringlich, Rezeption zu wenig aufmerksam. Auf die Bitte für Abholung am Pier bei Anreise, kam bis heute keine Antwort. - Aufenthalt war angenehm. Gegen die Mücken müsste etwas unternommen werden.

Heerlijk zwembad, stille airco. Toen we aankwamen was de airco helemaal niet cool maar deze werd meteen gemaakt en heeft het de hele tijd goed gedaan!

De deur van ons huisje kon niet op slot alleen middels een hangslot. Geen deurklink niets. Als we binnen waren moest er een schuifje op de deur en andersom… niet handig! Verder ligt het resort in de baai waar de ferry’s aankomen. Dit start al om 6 uur ‘s morgens. Toeterende boten en ronkende motoren. Houdt hier rekening mee. En als laatste het personeel bij het restaurant. Ze waren ontzettend vriendelijk maar het was bijna ongemakkelijk. Stonden soms met vier man om onze tafel heen om op te ruimen of bij te vullen.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Het hotel is gelegen aan een klein rif, je kan dus vanuit je hotel meteen gaan snorkelen. We deden de snorkeltour met de boot van het hotel en het was fantastisch!

De douche is echt heel triest. Wij verwachten voor een hotel in deze prijsklasse toch betere sanitaire voorzieningen. Het ontbijt is goed, maar wel elke ochtend hetzelfde.

Rigtig hyggelige hytter. Skøn pool. Virkelig god beliggenhed - vi gik ind til havnen/ byen på 5 minutter langs stranden. Dejlig morgenmad. Stranden er smuk og der er god snorkelling, men ikke så god til at bade pga lavvande og sten/ koraler i vandet. Men man kan bade med sko.

The beach is too near the main pier full of speed boats. Also the sea is not clean due to the pollution of the boat The staff in the restaurant did not understand English very well. This can sometimes lead to confusion and misunderstanding when ordering food

Sensi paradise is a lovely resort. It is a bit rustic but considering it’s on a small island it has that island charm. The rooms/bungalows are very clean and they have a great pool area. It’s fairly close to a small town which has basic facilities. The main town of Sairee beach is about a 15 bike/scooter ride which is where we ate dinner most nights. Breakfast was a bit average but not bad. It is a small island so you can expect too much. It was a great place to stay and would stay again.

The showers were challenging. Not much pressure and not much heat. I know it’s hot in Thailand and sometimes a cold shower is great but I still enjoy a warm shower but it wasn’t a huge issue.

Location was good

It is quite primitive, the showers are terrible and there are a lot of mosquitoes due to still water. The restaurant staff were very good.

The location of property is very convenient close to town yet far enough away to not get caught up in the chaos. There is also good snorkeling off the beach. The lower level pool was also good Rooms are rustic taking the traveler back to a time when wooden huts were the standard for Thailand beach accommodation- except it now comes with air conditioning and warmish shower !

Property could do with some maintenance. For example upper level pool floor the Peebles are coming loose. Also with breakfast the larger Bain-Marie’s do not keep food warm - need to decrease the size or put additional burners under these - stone cold eggs not ideal even in a warm environment

Poolområdet var helt underbart Hotellerummet (familjerum) var så mysigt och coolt! Både vuxna och barn var så nöjda! När till allt! Fri transfer till båten. Vi fick se stora och små ödlor som bor på hotellet (häftigt) och hade massor med söta ekorrar överallt!

De saknar brandlarm Stranden är smutsig (ta istället taxibåt eller taxi till andra stränder som är otrolig fina) Hotellet är slitet och skulle behöva renoveras. Men på skala 1-10 så är boende ändå 9 av 10.

The grounds of the restort were very beautiful and very well maintained. The location was great, by the beach and close to town but far enough to enjoy peace at the resort. The breakfast was simple but very good. The best thing about the resort was the staff, very helping and attending, especially at the restaurant. It was a great choice for us a family of 4 with kids aged 9 and 11 who really enjoyed the adventures on the beach and the staff was very warm and good to the kids.

Staff was excellent. Polite and always greeted you with a smile. Even offered their taxi service for me to get my last rabies shot. Breakfast was good at the restaurant, but sack breakfast was not. Place was clean and pools were awesome. Had a nice beach to walk and swim at. Close to pier for diving days.

Mattress was horrible, even with a topper pad. It just conformed to the saggy mattress. Also WiFi did not work three days out of the four days. No storms to blame it on. For the price we paid for the seaview honeymoon suite and have a used up mattress, is ridiculous. I expected a nice luxury mattress. So disappointing!!! Never again. Can’t recommend.

De locatie is echt perfect van de accommodatie. Direct aan een prachtig strand en lekker rustig. Maar toch 5 minuten lopen tot aan winkels en restaurants. Ook het zwembad is mega mooi! En het personeel is zo ontzettend vriendelijk!!

Ik vond de bedden een beetje hard. De onze was nog redelijk, maar van de kinderen was best hard. En we hadden we airco op onze kamer, die je wel nodig hebt. Deze hadden een beetje kuren, en gingen soms plots uit zichzelf uit. Of deden rare dingen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Ruhige Lage und doch nicht weit weg vom Trubel.

Spacious and pleasant room with a large terrace with a double daybed to dream away in the afternoon. The swimming pool has definitely been the highlight for our kids. It's large and has multiple levels and a wall/waterfall to jump from.

What to complain about while sitting next to the pool with a fresh fruitjuice watching the kids having the time of their lives? But it's good to know that the breakfast is a little poor compared to other hotels in this price range. Also, the staff is trying to be professional in a Western way which makes the service rather awkward. Lot's of waiters roaming around our table, hardly speaking English, having no clue what to do, smiling away... We never swam in the sea in front of the hotel. It feels a bit too much like a harbor. Having a scooter is a must to see other (really, really) pretty bays, but you need to be a bit courageous dealing with heavy traffic and steep roads.

Cold shower and terrible smell of sewage in our room. The pool was cloudy and felt dirty (bottom pool cleaner than the top pool) the resort is on steep hills (request a room not on a hill if you have mobility issues) the whole place felt neglected and very over priced for what it is

The staff were so cute, always greeting with a smile, especially the restaurant staff ...it's low season and the place is very quiet so the staff have a lot of down time in the restaurant. It was lovely to see them chatting, laughing and enjoying themselves. The location is away from the busy areas but still a short walk without being a passthrough for non-guests.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay in paradise with my two kids. We loved everything about this place — the beautiful views, spacious rooms, breakfast, location, swimming pool, friendly staff, and the beach. We stayed in a bungalow with two separate rooms and a large terrace. The kids especially enjoyed having their own room. The area is quite unique, with some steep paths, but for us it added a bit of adventure and was fun every time we returned to our bungalow.

הייתה בעיה בכספת, לא עבדה. והייתי צריך להחליף חדר היה מאוד חם ולא היה ניתן להדליק קירור מראש לפני הגעה לחדר המקלחת הייתה מאוד מאוד לא נוחה, הצינור קצר ולא הייתה מחיצה

L accueil à la réception un peu froid

L’hôtel est très beau, notre bungalow était très confortable. Par contre il faut savoir que les bungalows proches de la mer sont très bruyants à cause de la proximité du port. La piscine est super avec suffisamment de transat et beaucoup d’ombre grâce aux nombreux arbres. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Il y avait peu de monde car basse saison et c’était très agréable.

La plage n’est pas incroyable surtout à cause des bateaux. Le petit déjeuner est ok mais le café filtre n’est pas à la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel. Le bacon n’était pas très bon et après quelque jours sur place on a vite fait le tour. Le personnel ne parle pas super bien l’anglais, on est jamais sûre d’avoir été bien compris lorsqu’on commande quelque chose.

Impossible de dormir avant 3h du matin et réveille à 6h .Je sais pas si c'est une boîte de nuit qui est juste a côté mais il y avait de la musique à fond tous les soirs et les scooter tous les matin qui passe juste a côté. Dans la chambre il y a 1 lit et une table rien d'autre même pas 1 petite armoire pour mettre ses vêtements et au prix de la nuit c'est un peu abusé...comme le taxi de l'hôtel qui nous à ris 800bt pour 10 minutes de trajet.

Les chambres très confortables, la localisation près de tous les commerces et commodités, la piscine très sympa, le cadre, le petit déjeuner, le personnel très gentil.

Complexe avec très peu de monde sur la période où nous étions, personnels très agréables et disponibles. A noter que pour 4 nous avions 2 chambres distinctes reliées par les terrasses. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet au bord de la plage. Accès direct à la plage et à 25 minutes à pied de sairee beach par un chemin agréable et faisable avec des enfants.

We enjoyed the pools and the restaurant was good quality (except the free breakfast which was not nice at all).

Everything was overpriced, and customer service was non existent. We arrived to a sweat lodge for a room, no one turned on the AC for our arrival. We spent our first day at the resort waiting for repairs to our shower, toilet, A/C, and to get a sheet for our day bed and a couple pillows. The staff is largely from Burma…they speak very little Thai and English…and, no German, Spanish, or French. Simple communication with staff (away from front desk) was very difficult and tedious. People found large snakes in their rooms, and, the beachfront cabins don’t have an easy way to access the rocky beach, which is not comfortable for swimming without shoes…our room seemed to never cool down, even after they cleaned tons of dirt out of the filters… They are quite petty to charge extra for a latte or cappuccino after paying over $250 USD a night for a wooden fort on concrete stilts. Upon arrival they alert you to their no refund policy, in case you choose to leave early…after seeing their rooms and lack of service. They need to do a major overhaul of the entire place to earn the prices they are charging…and for over $200 per night in Thailand, they should make you a Cappuccino, serve it in English…and, with a smile.

Très bon emplacement à proximité du port, dans un quartier très calme. Les piscines sont bien. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment super avec un personnel très gentille et serviable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'extérieur du bungalow. La chambre/salle de bain était très bien.

La climatisation était bruyante (indispensable pour dormir).

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la piscine est très agréable et une superbe belle vue pour le petit déjeuner, le personnel est très gentil et souriant, adorable!

Vi hade ett toppenläge på vår bungalow med hela havet framför oss. Underbart med dagbädden i skuggan på terassen. Lungt och stilla för det mesta.Service med transfer till och från båten utan kostnad, Vi hade nära till restaurang, stranden och poolområdet. Bra mat i restaurangen. OK frukost, Vänlig personal. Hotellet ligger lite vid sidan om vilket vi verkligen uppskattade.

Språkkunskaperna bland den unga personalen skulle kunna förbättras.

Die ganze Anlage, mitten in der Natur, das war herrlich. Nettes hilfsbereites Personal, bequeme Betten. Das Frühstück mit wechselnden Thai Gerichten. Der Shuttle Service und das ab und zu Zickadenkonzert, fanden wir toll

Nichts, es war super bei Sensi Paradise. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und man konnte die Boote am Pier hören aber uns hat es nicht gestört.

L’emplacement est de premier ordre, proche de la petite ville mais suffisamment loin pour ne pas en avoir les nuisances sonores. Plage intimiste très agréable et plusieurs piscines complètent me tout. Superbe restaurant.

Besonders gut hat uns die großzügige Terrasse vor dem Zimmer mit Meerblick gefallen.

Leider wurde der Meerblick vom recht hohen Verkehrsaufkommen alter und lauter Schiffsmotoren getrübt. Das Hotel liegt zu nah am sehr stark befahrenen Pier

Die Betten waren zu hart. Könnte man eventuell ändern.

This was our favourite stay; a very authentic resort, the bungalows were well equipped and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We had connecting bungalows which were spacious, one was more modern than the other but the was both very comfortable. The snorkelling bays were great, we saw a lot of fish right on our doorstep, the pool was good, very quiet, always plenty of sun loungers, and a bar for snacks and drinks which was good. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner multiple times, the Thai food was very good. The fried rice was the best we’d tasted. Location was perfect, we found Sairee beach too busy so just wondered into Mae haad every night which had plenty of restaurants and bars. Sairee was a bit of walk so we got a taxi back for 500 baht. Sunsets were amazing from both beaches.

The mozzies are rife, the mozzy nets were good at night though. We invested in 95% deet repellent which did the trick in the evenings.

Sehr nettes Personal besonders im Restaurant. Resort liegt Stadtnah aber sehr ruhig.

Un hôtel très bien placé dans le centre. Le confort respecte les standards de la Thaïlande, l'insonorisation est assez douce et le petit-déjeuner est à l'image du pays : un buffet simple avec des spécialités locales.

La salle de bain devrait s'offrir une petite remise en beauté.

Das Areal ist sehr schön gestaltet, insbesondere die Poolanlagen. Auch das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit

Es wurde nirgendwo erwähnt, wie laut die ein- und auslaufenden Schiffe des Hafens sind. Wir hatten ein Haus in 2.reihe und konnten in der Regel nicht länger als bis halb 7/um 7 schlafen.

Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Kostenloser Shuttle zum und vom Fähranleger. Das Frühstück war bis auf den Kaffee gut. Der Pool war in Ordnung und nutzbar.

Die Anlage wirkt lieblos und nicht allzu gut gepflegt Hier fehlt in der kompletten Anlagd die Liebe zum Detail.. Die Dusche im Badezimmer ist einfach nur furchtbar ekelig und es hat kaum Wasserdruck. Im Badezimmer hatten wir wiederkehrend Kakerlaken. Eine Info an der Reception änderte daran nichts. Auch in der Anlage sichteten wir auf dem Gehweg welche. Wir haben uns überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten wenig Schlaf, weil man abends noch lange den Krach vom Hafen hört. Um 6.15h waren wir wach, weil uns die Motoren der Boote weckten. Die Lage ist zwar nah am Trubel fussläufig., aber wir fanden hier kaum ansprechende Bars und Gastro. Der Strand ist nicht schön. Man kann dort weder schwimmen gehen, noch Kinder im Wasser spielen lassen. Es ist der Strand unweit vom Fähranlege und dementsprechend sehr dreckig. Auch von der Frühstücksterrasse hatte man keine schöne Aussicht. Wir hatten auf unserer Reise 5 Unterkünfte und diese war die einzige, die wirklich nicht zum Wohlfühlen war. Wir waren froh nach 3 Nächten abreisen zu können.
