It was the first hotel in Japan we stayed in after 6 weeks travel where the staff seemed ambivalent- no real friendly greeting and the reception area smelled of cigarette smoke.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026The service provided by the staff was excellent always wanting to cater to our every question or concern regarding places to visit and bow to get to where we want to go. The location was great since it was adjacent to two covered malls and close to Kochi Castle, the Sunday Market and Hirome's Market. Also being along the main street and intersection we could easily get back to the JR station or make it out to Ryoma's Museum at Katsurahama. The beloved tram is also right out front on the two crossing streets on which the hotel sits.
One thing we had to adjust to was that this hotel seems to be a popular hotel for tour groups. This said you should not go down for early breakfast as the buffet breakfast would be crowded affecting the ambiance of the place quite a bit from a quiet breakfast to one that is rushed and noisy. It's not every day but it happened once during our 3-day stay there. We suggest going down after 8 am to miss the rush of the tour groups. Also, we would suggest that the management upgrade the layout and furniture of the buffet breakfast. Currently, although the selection of food is actually very good, the overall presentation/ambiance of the breakfast buffet feels like a school cafeteria. This would really help the hotel get a higher rating if more attention was paid to the interior design and furnishing and utensils of the buffet breakfast. Otherwise, the hotel would have an overall excellent rating.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2025シングルルームに2名で利用。 1名で泊まる予定が2名になったが、追加料金2000円を払うことで快く対応してくれた。 駐車場は1泊1000円？1500円？かかり、ホテル真横の立体駐車場に停められる。立体ゆえ、入出庫にはかなり時間がかかりそうなので、急ぎの方は徒歩5分圏内に夜間最大400円、120分100円のコインパーキングが結構あるので、そちらを選ぶと良いと思う。 高知駅からも近く、利便性は高い。受験での利用も多いようで、ロビーには受験校までの行き方や空港までのバス案内など、情報が充実していた。

Reviewed Jan 4, 2025はりまや橋のたもとにあり、繁華街の近くで便利なロケーション。ロビーも明るくてスタッフの教育も行き届いている感じ。清掃もきちんとされており、オフシーズンもあって事前にお願いしていた通りのお部屋を用意していただきました。 朝食の新鮮なカツオを好きなだけいただけたり、自分で新しい削り節を作って食べられるのは良かったです。おかずも高知の食材を使ったもののレパートリー、地元野菜のサラダ(特にプチトマト)をたいへん美味しくいただきました。 ただし。。炊飯器内のご飯が日を越えたものなのか、少しにおいがしたのがマイナス1ポイントです。。連泊したのですが2日ともご飯がちょっと残念でした。 ご飯は保温で日をまたがないのがベストです。においの予防として、たとえば家庭用なら炊くときに味がわからない程度に梅酢を入れると、梅酢の殺菌効果で保温が多少長時間になってもにおいがしにくくなるという手もあります。 宿泊施設の場合は、朝食利用客数を前日にほぼホテルが把握できるので、大きな炊飯器で炊いた日に余りそうな場合は、保温で持ち越しさせず、出来れば炊き上がったあとに数人分の分量を1つにまとめて業務用ラップなどで小分けして密閉して冷凍し、翌朝の提供時にその日の朝食券発行枚数から人数を読んで、その人数プラスアルファぐらいをチンして炊飯器に戻して提供すれば、においも防げるし、フードロスにもなりにくいと思います。あるいは、閑散期は予約を見て、翌朝の利用者が少なそうであればより小さめの炊飯器で炊いて出すとか。 閑散期は日々の利用客数が読めないので、炊飯器に多く炊いても残るため、フードロスにならないためだとは思いますが、やはり他のサービスが行き届いていても、楽しみにしていた朝食の印象は強く残ってしまいます。 それでも次を期待して、また高知市で宿泊するときは、こちらのホテルを利用したいです。

The wifi was poor. The location is great but obviously being in a big street it was a little noisy, not to the point of it being too bad but just to consider. The breakfast was OK but a bit pricy and not that tasty compared to what I've experienced

Reviewed May 8, 2024立地がよく便利なので、高知へ行く時はよく利用させていただいてます。今回は２階の部屋へ宿泊したのですが、夕食時やチェックアウト時はエレベーターが混雑していて、5分ぐらい待たされる事が多く、とても苦痛でした。階段が使えないのが不便なので、せめて低層階の人は階段が使えるようにして欲しい。もしくは、エレベーターを低層と上層階と分けて欲しい。

They could give better information about their restaurant services. It was too sparse for us to decide to eat there.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2023高知の観光名所、はりまや橋に隣接していて何処に行くにもアクセスはとても良い。朝食のバイキングのお茶漬けは他のホテルには無く、出汁の味もいいのですが、1,500円は少々高いと思いました。
