Magnifique en tout point !!!!

A localização é excelente praticamente dentro do centro comercial da cidade. Fácil acesso aos principais pontos turísticos e com dezenas de restaurantes e lojas ao redor. As instalações são novas e o quarto é muito bem equipado. Apesar de não ter estacionamento próprio tem muitos estacionamentos muito próximos ao hotel.

The warm welcome and excellent hospitality of Josef and Olivia. Beautiful room with really great a/c. The rooftop balcony terrace with the gorgeous view of the cathedral-mosque and cocktails served by Olivia! So close to the old town and Cordoba shopping. Highly recommended.

This is a 10 room former convent building with a lovely entrance patio, nice decor, and furnishings, and a small sitting area on the top floor with the best views of the nearby Mezquita. The room was ample size, the furnishings were comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean and pleasant. It is located in a great area for strolling the alleys and artist, shops and tapas bars and a nearby flamenco bar.

An absolutely beautiful stay in Cordoba - so much so that passersby kept stopping to take photos of the courtyard as they strolled around the city. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff was kind and attentive. If you’re traveling during the warmer months and run hot, this hotel also has great air conditioning to keep you cool. If all of that wasn’t enough, the rooftop terrace has the best views of the city and Mezquita — topped off with excellent bar service. Could not recommend this stay enough.

Location was excellent, was extremely close to the main attraction but still in a small alley where it felt very quiet and peaceful. The view was the best part it was phenomenal!

Fantastic stay the hotel is very special in fact it's a little piece of heaven. I would happily recommend it. The staff are warm and friendly the service excellent. The rooms are amazing we had our own little patio to sit in in the afternoon. With a G+T.

We had a wonderful stay at the gorgeous Balcon de Cordoba. It’s a really serene, lovely hideaway hidden in one of the tiny alleyways away from the searing heat of the summer. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the rooms were equally impressive. However, it was the charming, helpful gentleman that looked after us on reception that made our experience perfect. We were treated to welcome drinks, offered an upgrade and helped by Rafael who assured us our daughter who is a Coeliac would be catered for. For us it was actually Rafael who made our visit. We would return here without a doubt and whatever you do - don’t miss the sunset view on the roof terrace of the Mezquita, it’s truly magical.

Das liebevoll restaurierte historische Gebäude mit seinem wunderschönen andalusischen Innenhof, den stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmern und der traumhaften Dachterrasse macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das aufmerksame und herzliche Personal. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Für uns zählt das Balcón de Córdoba zu den schönsten Hotels, in denen wir bisher übernachtet haben. Sollten wir wieder nach Córdoba reisen, wäre dieses Hotel ohne jede Frage unsere erste Wahl.

Loved all of it! The location excellent. It’s an old building but completely refurnished interior. The entryway patio charming first impression that lead into the registration area that was air conditioned and stylistically designed. Customer service exceptional by staff. Room was so well appointed and supplied with slippers, hot water pot, sweet treats, waters. Bed and furnishings amazing.

This hotel is wonderful! From the moment you step through the iron gates into the gorgeous courtyard you feel yourself relax. Our room was so quiet and had the biggest bed I’ve ever slept in! Super comfortable! The roof top patio has beautiful views and the staff here were lovely. Very well situated just steps from the mezquita and a short walk to the river to cross the Roman bridge. Absolutely a 10!

The staff was very friendly. They even called to check on us when we din't arive from the parking structure right away. The propoery wa lovely and the food was exceptional.

Everything was amazing. We stayed in room 10 on the upper level, with not one but 2 private terraces and spectacular views. We dined at the hotel on the first night, eating in the small open air courtyard, sheltered by a huge orange tree. Breakfast was taken in the same spot and was equally good, simple but delicious and the roof top bar was a great addition for pre or post dinner drinks. The hotel location is unbeatable.

If I was being very picky, my first impression would have been 10/10 had we not been greeted by a staff member smoking outside the entrance and I think the breakfast staff could be a bit more welcoming.

Balcon de Cordoba is a nice boutique hotel of 10 rooms in a quiet location but very close to the stunning Mezquita. Rooms 10 and 6 are the best rooms with large outdoor spaces on which you will often find sleeping cats! A minimalist and disappointing breakfast was served in the peaceful inner courtyard but service was slow and surly.

Wunderbares Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern mit perfekter Lage!

Frühstück ist nicht empfehlenswert! Man kann sich aus mehreren Frühstücken eines aussuchen, das serviert wird und es gibt zusätzlich ein „Frühstücksmenü“, das allerdings nur aus einem Fertigmüsli, Milch, Yoghurt, Saft, Marmelade und Honig besteht! Dazu gibt es Kekse - kein Brot o.ä.! Kaffe und Tee wird an den Tisch serviert!

Booked 4 nights at the end of May based on the great reviews from previous guests on Tripadvisor and another online platform. Lovely property, beautifully appointed, lovely room. Located in the Old Town just 30 yards from the Mezquita. An oasis of peace and tranquility.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The location is amazing, within walking distance of the Cordoba main streets. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the view was absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful quiet location near Mezquita. Room full of character; aircon easy to operate. Over bath shower somewhat complicated. Generally the service was excellent BUT the evening dining service was haphazard & tardy. Dishes came at different time slots, bread was not offered. We would stay there again because the hotel & courtyard are so charming & unnusual.

This hotel is amazing- a true gem. From the minute I was greeted be Emilio until the minute I left I loved every minute. First of all, the location is fabulous- two minutes from the Mezquita and right in the center. Yet it is on a very quiet street. The room was lovely- good size with a seating area. Decorated in a warm way. The bathroom was equally nice with tons of products. And so quiet. The air conditioning worked extremely well. All the staff was lovely and I apologize for forgetting the other gentleman’s name but he was great as well! There is a beautiful rooftop with lovely views of Cordoba. I cannot recommend this hotel enough

Location is fantastic, very central but set back so it's also quiet. Loved the roof terrace for drinks and the central courtyard.

The room had literally no external view - I realise that's because it is in a tight street in the old quarter but it made the room feel quite claustrophobic.

My husband and I stayed in the Maryam / Royal Junior Suite and we absolutely loved it. It's our favourite stay of all time. We would come back to Cordoba just to stay here again. The room was extremely comfortable, the hotel is gorgeous, and the amenities were excellent. We loved relaxing in the courtyard with drinks, watching the sunset from the rooftop, eating in the restaurant, and the fantastic location. The staff were extremely helpful and always available. Absolutely 10/10, this was our idea of heaven.

Very nice small hotel with only 10 rooms, formerly a convent. Nice courtyard to enter, and welcome drink offered. Lovely knowledgable staff. Small room, with all necessary amenities, including safe and mini fridge, kettle etc. welcome drink also provided in the room. Small bathroom with shower over bath. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Lovely balcony overlooking the city on the top floor where you can sit out with a drink. Breakfast was included in our booking. Cold choices were limited. Small amount of hot choices offered. Hotel is adjacent to the Mezquita Cathedral, and is also a good location for walking around town. We parked at the Le Mezquita car park - very busy but got a space. Would not recommend trying to drive in old Cordoba. Would recommend patio tour as these are quite amazing small spaces. Would happily stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel, just a few rooms but all very nicely done. Perfect location, just a short walk from the Cathedral. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, even gave us a picnic breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

Location is so close to the mosque/cathedral … the hotel has 10 rooms with no room numbers but names. I felt i was in a house ! They have a nice roof top bar with a lovely view . Because the hotel is small i assume sound proof rooms are not possible . So be prepared to hear noises from other rooms . That made me feel more at home lol although i am usually picky . No sun light enters my room in the morning because there is the option of wooden windows which is essential to me . Highly recommend this hotel if you want an authentic experience and sound proof is not an issue for you

This is a beautiful hotel, and despite having lots of rain during our visit we were able to appreciate the rooftop terrace and other patios. I know we would have spent more time there if the weather had been better. The staff was very warm and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee and sweets.

A really beautiful hotel right in the middle of Cordoba. You step into its courtyard and you’re immediately in a haven of tranquility in what can be a very busy city. We had two beautiful rooms, one of which had a roof terrace. The whole place is beautifully designed and is a very relaxing place to stay. The food is excellent and the service really great.

Der Balcón de Córdoba ist ein wunderschönes, bis ins Detail durchdachtes Hotel in perfekter Lage mit sehr schönen individuellen 10 Zimmern (wir hatten mit Nr. 9 das wohl schönste) und einer traumhaften kleinen Dachterrasse zum Geniessen des Sonnenuntergangs. wir waren Ende März hier und hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt, betört vom Duft der Orangenblüten. Großartig und immer wieder!

Location is the best asset of this hotel. Close to everything - Mezquita-Cathedral down the street, the roman bridge, less than 10 minutes away, gardens, great restaurants, shopping -- literally couldn't have selected a better hotel. I also have to say that due to a train wreck and horrible flooding, we had to cancel our stay initially; however, instead of making us eat the considerable amount we would have lost, they agreed to credit it to us since we planned to come again the following month when the weather and the trains were deemed safe. That was very generous.

The breakfast was part buffet with 3 main breakfasts. It was unremarkable. And the main server, at least at 0800 was not very friendly nor helpful. Which considering how amazing every single other employee was, especially Emilio, the server was the only negative. Also, my husband and I are seniors and it took us a good fifteen minutes to get the shower on with hot water. It would be nice if they could show you when you check in how to work it or post instructions in English and Spanish.

El aroma ,mikado, de la habitación un poco fuerte, hubiera puesto una funda nordica tanto al edredón de la cama cómo al del armario.

Great place to stay to explore Córdoba

One of the best hotels we’ve ever visited. We had to take the “small double “ room as it was the only one available but it was quite a reasonable size — not cramped or oppressive in any way. The courtyard and reception area are exceptional in their decor and layout. The dining room and roof terrace equally beautiful. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the food is imaginative and delicious. Cordoba is probably the kind of city that most people only visit once, so if you’re heading there, treat yourself to a stay at this hotel.

Such a lovely hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Literally a few meters from the Cathedral and only a short walk into the town centre. Fabulous service, lovely comfortable rooms and an amazing roof top terrace to enjoy a drink and views over the old town.

Sin lugar a dudas el mejor hotel en el que nos hemos alojado en nuestra travesía por Andalucía. Tanto así que nos terminamos quedando más tiempo en Córdoba para aprovechar la estadía. Ubicado a pocos metros de la mezquita catedral, nos permitía frenar en medio de nuestros paseos para recargar energía. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, limpias, y perfectamente equipadas. La terraza es uno de los secretos mejor guardados de toda Córdoba, alucinante para beber algo al atardecer viendo la ciudad. Mención aparte la atención de los empleados, excelentes del primero al último.

Lovely hotel In beautiful building a short walk to the Cathedral and historic centre of Cordoba. Beautiful roof top bar for relaxing with a drink. We had a free upgrade to wonderful suite.

We loved the modern, cottage, country-side look and feel of the hotel and at the same time, we enjoyed the contrast of this with local historic design. The room was spacious, with awesome views of the tower and mesquite-cathedral. Stunning! At the same time, the location was absolutely premium and convenient. Javier was helpful, accomodating and genuinely willing to offer tips and recommendations which we highly appreciated.

We didn't enjoy the food offer at the restaurant, it needs some more creativity, better food and passion.

We loved every minute at this wonderful boutique hotel. Such a perfect location with everything within a few minutes walk. The view from the terrace over the Mezquita was perfect, with the sunset to adorn the evening. With only 10 rooms we chose room 10 at the top, a suite full of character. Wonderful quirks and touches throughout. 2 balonies with rooftop views, one to welcome the dawn, another to rest on the shaded divan or bask in the sun. Small shuttered windows to match any mood. The rooftop eirie rest room. The sumptuous bed. The whole hotel, which used to be a convent, had the same character. The truly perfect courtyard entrance and restful patio shaded by an ancient orange tree. A back entrance straight into the street of flowers. All of the staff were welcoming, kind and happy. A welcome contrast to all those large flash all mod cons statement hotels without any of the charm and character we all crave.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, the room was very comfortable and breakfast was well done. The staff went out of their way to help us. We would love to stay here again

Wonderful boutique hotel, very well situated. Beautiful design with three atmospheric courtyards. Javier at reception gave us a great welcome and description of the local area, and later helped us with restaurant bookings. Our room was high quality with an upper deck. Breakfast excellent with great service. One tip for anyone arriving in car, arrange with hotel to bring it to bottom of lane where hotel is located, then drop luggage before parking; otherwise will be dragging suitcases along cobbled streets…
