We loved our bright, clean, spacious suite with all the amenities. The property is well maintained and laid out with several pools. So close to the amazing Praia de Mos beach and walking/hiking on Fishermen’s trail. Nice coffee/cocktail bar. Very good fitness centre.

Es ist sauber, Zimmer sehr groß, ebenso die Balkone .Essen ist abwechslungsreich aber durchschnittlich Pool ist top, allerdings viel zu wenig Sonnenschirme. Personal freundlich, die Abläufe sehr gut . Parken ist auch prima möglich!

Für den Preis und 4 Sterne sollte dringend renoviert werden , hauptsächlich die Bäder und einige der Möbel und Türen

A spa resort whos spa doesnt work is well... our entire trip 2 of the 10 odd buttons in the spa didnt work, id read this in past reviews and hoped it was fixed, it wasnt. Would rate them a 10 if they had a working spa..

The hotel is amazing! The apartments are big, ours was 92 m2, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, the livingroom with a kitchen and the big terrase. The kitchen is fully equiped, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. The hotel is just 5 min walk from the beautifull, big beach. There is a grocery store just about 1km from the hotel. You can go to the city center by Uber just for 5 euro.

Check out at 10am is little bit early for my family, but we asked and they allowed us to check out at 10:30am.

Breakfast was exceptional, and my children especially loved the freshly squeezed juice. The dining area was immaculate, with tables cleared and cleaned regularly throughout service. The range of pools was a real highlight, particularly the adults only pool, which had a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We also spent time in the heated spa pool, which was a lovely addition. The staff were incredibly friendly, the views were beautiful, and the food portions were generous both at the poolside and at lunch. There is a small supermarket around a 10 minute walk away, which was very convenient for picking up water, juice, and bread. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered plenty of cupboard and drawer space, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was very cheap to visit Lagos Old Town, costing less than £4 by Uber The flavoured Water by reception was both delicious and hydrating, do try this.

Hmm everything was perfect. The only slight downside for me was that the outdoor pools were quite cold, although they did warm up a little in the afternoon. That said, this is just a personal preference and plenty of people seemed to enjoy the refreshing water

The Hotel is in need of maintenance, carpets, inside walls need a paint everything looks a little aged. There were not enough sun umbrella's at the pools. The Spa area needs an upgrade and maintenance. The Gym NEEDS an AC and new equipment.

L’établissement est vieux et très détérioré, une sérieuse rénovation est nécessaire. Par exemple, le miroir de la salle de bain était tout rouillé sur le tour, la barrière en bois du balcon était à deux doigt de tomber. Qualité/prix très mauvais, je ne recommande pas du tout.

The cleanliness of the apartments wasn’t great, there needs to be more maintenance of the whole resort but especially the apartments.

Le ampie piscine e la vicinanza ad una spiaggia splendida. Ottima anche la colazione. La struttura molto bella, soprattutto il ristorante.

Purtroppo alcune cose in spa non andavano ma mi hanno spiegato che faranno presto manutenzione (in bassa stagione). Nonostante questo, è stato comunque un ottimo soggiorno.

Al lado de la playa, con varias piscinas, apartamentos amplios, zona muy tranquila. Las instalaciones son preciosas. Aunque el resort es grande no hay sensación de multitud. Punta de Piedade queda muy cerca, se puede pasear hasta allì y recorrer los caminos de madera por la costa.

Pequeños detalles como que las sártenes estaban muy rayadas, imposible usarlas. La tostadora parecía como.oxidada en el interior.

The 2 bed apartment was huge and had great outside spaces and the hotel having 4 pools was brilliant! The food at the pool bars was also brilliant! Location on the beach was fabulous and only about 4-5 EURO uber to town

We booked the apartments type, although breakfast is not included, we were able to cook as their kitchen is well equipped. Rooms in the main building are spacious and modern. The lobby is very inviting and parking was free which was convenient. Theres about 5 different pools in the property and 5 minutes walk to the beach.

I didnt know there were different buildings in the property. Our group was separated but it wasnt much of a disadvantage. Its just great to know beforehand.

The views are wonderful. The restaurant has great buffet. Pool service is good.

The property is confusing. There are numerous pools but limited signage. It is very easy to get lost. This was a frustration the whole stay. The spa needs an upgrade. Pedicure chair is a must. Amenities for spa guests like robes and toiletries to shower and get ready after treatment are necessary. The services from Sara, Anna and Patricia were excellent.

This was our 5th time staying in Lagos but first time staying at the hotel. The 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment was perfect for our group.

There was mold on the flap of the shower and the shower was leaking. We told the front desk and they sent someone to take care of it the next day. We appreciated the quick fix, but it was disappointing upon arrival. The spa facilities are great but many of the buttons in the spa pool don't work so I was mainly just a warm pool. We enjoyed the Turkish bath and sauna but would have liked to use all the rest of the facilities. The adults only pool is amazing but needs significantly more loungers for the high volume of guests during the summer months.

We were beyond pleased with our experience at the Belmar. We loved our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment- it was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff is kind, attentive, accomodating and responsive. The location of the hotel was perfect for us- walking distance to the beach, and a short taxi ride to the Lagos City Centre. It was super easy to get a ride with Bolt. The pools were nice - the pool bar had good options for food and drinks. We didn't have time to use any of the Spa services, but the Spa staff was very gratious in helping us get clean beach towels each day. We highly recommend the Belmar.

We had the buffet dinner at the restaurant. It was very good overall, but some of the offerings fell short.

Lovely location, short walk to the beach and the pool offers a relaxing environment. Easy to get into town. Our room was on the main floor, close to the lobby but it was very quiet.

Our biggest disappointment was the lack of knowledge regarding common allergens in the foods offered at the restaurant and the response of staff when we asked questions. Our son has an anaphylactic nut allergy. Several of the staff seemed irritated with the questions about the food and rather than try to find any answers, just dismissed us, telling us that it is just better if he doesn't eat the food in question. It was very disappointing. We understand there is almost always a risk of cross contamination but that was not what we were asking. We have stayed at other resorts in Europe and received far more support around ensuring our son's safety. The safety of guests should be a priority and that includes ensuring that guests of all ages with a serious food allergy have the information they need to comfortably enjoy the foods on offer. This didn't ruin our trip but would be a reason to consider other options in the future.

Del alojamiento me gusta absolutamente todo, es mi 7ª vez en el hotel y vengo todos los veranos, pero el motivo de la puntuación es que el tema de la piscina familiar no se ha arreglado nada, me explico, dejé un comentario en Google acerca de que la piscina familiar no tenía control sobre las personas, niños saltando y molestando a las demás personas mientras padres pasan de sus hijos, suciedad derivada de que esa gente no es cívica, balones que te dan y golpean…y todo porque no hay una persona controlando al igual que la hay en la zona de piscina de adultos que en cuanto accedes con un menor ya te dicen que no se puede pasar. Para mí es un punto muy negativo pues quizá el precio que pagas es alto precisamente para que tu experiencia sea buena y puedas relajarte dentro de lo que es una zona familiar donde sin embargo si hay gente que cumple con las normas cívicas elementales. Creo que no es bueno decir a un cliente que harán lo que puedan para solucionarlo y luego no hacer absolutamente nada.

The location is fantastic 2 minutes walk from a beautiful beach and only 5 -7 minutes drive to Lagos . It was quiet and not overly busy the staff were wonderful , always answering our questions and doing their very best to help . Breakfast was very nice with a really good selection . The atmosphere in the resort is relaxed with a lovely vibe .definitely recommend it highly .

If you don't have a meal plan with the resort, the price for dining at the buffet is completely ridiculous. The food is good but it's much too expensive.

Not the cleanest - we had daily ant infestations both in the room and on the balcony, and the toilet seat was loose. Seemed a lack of staff - waited over half an hour to be served in the lobby bar, and the upstairs/rooftop bar looked lovely but wasn't open once while we were there. There was also limited sunbeds around the pool, and the two pools/all downstairs areas weren't well connected- lots of stairs and disjointed areas. It's a good job the hotel isn't far from town as the food choices in the hotel were very limited, and the one bar in the lobby with 4 sofas were often full meaning you couldn't relax in the hotel. In general, ok, but disappointing in areas and a shame as the hotel has great bones.

We stayed in an apartment and loved how spacious it was. Great and comfortable beds! We enjoyed sitting on the balconies in the evening with a glass of wine. It was great to have two bathrooms. We loved the pool in front of the apartment. We didn’t use any of the other pools. We also went to the beach, which is a very nice beach and literally five minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

We didn’t like the architecture of the resort - you have to walk through the parking garage to get to the pool and to get to your apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Very spacious apartments. The kitchen is well equipped and they clean the apartment every day. We felt like royalty. Lovely staff!

We absolutely loved our stay at Belmar Resort & Spa and would happily return. The location was fantastic—peaceful and relaxing, with easy access to the beautiful beaches that make the Algarve so special. The entire resort had such a calm, peaceful atmosphere. It really felt like a place where you could slow down and enjoy being in the Algarve. We also loved being close enough to Lagos to enjoy the Old Town while still feeling removed from the busier areas and the time at Ponte Piedade- just a walk away was INCREDIBLE! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Having the extra space and amenities made it feel like much more than a typical hotel room and made our stay especially comfortable. We definitely felt like it was excellent value for the price. Considering the location, quality of the accommodations, resort amenities, and level of service, we felt Belmar offered a lot for what we paid. Everything throughout the resort felt very clean and well maintained, including our room and the common areas. Despite being a full resort, it never felt loud or chaotic. The peaceful environment was a huge part of what we enjoyed about staying here. The service and amenities were exceptional. The pools, spa, beautiful grounds, and overall resort setup made it easy to enjoy time at the property rather than feeling like we always needed to be out sightseeing. Belmar was a wonderful home base for our time in the Algarve. Between the peaceful atmosphere, spacious accommodations, beautiful location, excellent amenities, and exceptional service, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We would absolutely stay here again.

*It’s modern, comfortable & very clean. *Staff were mostly friendly & helpful.

*Reception is not 24/7. *Indoor pool & spa (most of the activation buttons were broken for the duration of the stay. *No possibility of access to drinking water after 12am unless you have cash for an old vending machine. *Balcony furniture was oversized thus accessibility was very restricted & made it uncomfortable. *Wardrobe door was broken for duration of stay. *Entire lounge & bar on level 1 is never utilised leaving only a very small area on ground floor for use as a lounge & bar.

We had the 2BR apt with rooftop terrace. Apt. Was very clean with plenty of space. Main BR with attached bathroom with shower. 2d BR had separate bathroom with tub/shower etc. and a bidet. Beds very comfortable. Large closets in each room. Kitchen well-equipped and with wash machine. Folding drying rack on the balcony attached to the kitchen. Rooftop terrace very spacious with loungers (somewhat older looking but likely due to being in the sun all the time). Steps up to the rooftop are very steep… go slow and use handrail (not suitable for smaller children). 4 outdoor pools and 1 heated indoor pool with jacuzzi area. We used the large, quiet and very nice adult pool and always found plenty of free loungers before 11:00. Also shady areas as well. Pool/beach towels can be changed 1x a day. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Something for everyone. Fresh orange juice was very tasty. Personal were super friendly and quite efficient at clearing away used dishes and cleaning tables. All facilities and the grounds were exceptionally well maintained. The walk to the beach takes only 5 minutes and there are two good restaurants there that also rent loungers. Walking to town would take a good 25-30 minutes. We drove and managed to find free parking or used one of the parking garages (not expensive).

Nothing. Everything was great. Initially the WLAN/WiFi in the apartment was very weak. I reported this to the front desk and they managed to fix it within a very short time!!!

Apartments are spacious and very well equipped, had everything we needed, one of the best we have stayed in. Beds were very large and so comfortable. Location is amazing, just a short drive or a 20minutes walk into the centre but right beside the beach. Plenty of loungers available around the pool we were using (there are 4 outdoor pools and one indoor). Resort is very clean. A really gorgeous place overall

These are small things which would not put me off going again, only mentioning for feedback purposes. Our apartment had a roof terrace which was beautiful however there was no shade available at all so it was impossible to use during the day and then I n the evening, there is not sufficient lighting to sit up there. Although plenty of sun loungers by the pool they were quite uncomfortable and the umbrellas around the pool are not secure in the bases so we had several incidents on the being blown out by the wind and even going over the hedge which is quite dangerous.

Reception area, foyer, bar were all lovely. Loved the room with kitchenette - really handy especially as the buffet breakfast is imho overpriced. Staff were lovely.

Pool areas were fine but a little tired. As was the gym. Check-in is not the quickest - could do with a second person on in the evening to help check guests in.

Hotellet ligger i ett trevligt område nära en av de bästa stränderna i Lagos. Det finns trevliga restauranger i området men lite avsides vad gäller att handla livsmedel då vi ville laga vår egen frukost och lunch.

Ett skäl varför vi bokade på just detta ställe var tillgången till gym - och det var välutrustat för att vara ett hotell-gym. Tyvärr var inte AC påslagen så det var en utmaning att orka träna.

Sobre todo destaco el personal, y debo nombrar a Diana, a Stephanie y a Romina. Nos dedicaron una atención desinteresada ejemplar, atentas a nuestros deseos y con una sonrisa siempre por delante.

En general estamos muy contentos con la estancia, echamos un poco de menos ambiente nocturno en el hotel para no tener que coger el coche e ir al centro (aunque es poco tiempo no se hace pensando en cómo aparcar en Lagos) . Alguna actuación o zonas de espectáculos nocturno, tampoco hasta muy tarde, sobre las doce o la una, sería de agradecer. Al menos para nosotros que nos gusta un rato de entretenimiento antes de ir a dormir.
