Close to location

Not maintained , bed was making noises, toilet flush was leaking , fan was taking it’s last breathe, window view is construction site, lots of noise spent whole day outside to skip the noise . Was having too much luggage otherwise i would have left the place. Owner wasn’t friendly felt like staying at hostel with warden.

The place is so beautiful with the garden outside, perfect for doing Yoga or stretching. There’s a quiet park 3 min walk from the property and the lake also. On top of that, the owner is super nice and welcoming, we became friends and he will look after you for anything you need. I really recommend this place!

De host, de locatie en de kamers. Een oase van rust, je kan de bergen zien vanaf het dak en de plek creëert gewoon meteen zo’n echt thuisgevoel. Ik genoot van elke dag daar. Ik werd met alles geholpen door mijn host ook. Hij stond altijd paraat! Als ik ooit terugkom naar Pokhara, verblijf ik hier ongetwijfeld weer. Dankje🙏

Me gustó absolutamente todo. Y muy buen detalle colocar junto al hervidor de agua, bolsitas de té y azucar!! El propietario hace todo lo posible para que el huesped se sienta cómodo. Realmente muy buen hotel.

El sr. Mahendra (propietario) fue muy amable. Muy buena situación en el lago. La habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia. El personal cuida muy bien del Hotel y de los jardines. Me encantó el balcón con vistas al Fishtail. Ver amanecer fue fantástico. 200 % recomendable.

Очень комфортное проживание! Номер был большой, просторный. Хорошая ванная комната с горячей водой. Есть электрочайник, мыло, туалетная бумага, полотенце, тапочки. Махиндра (владелец) был очень дружелюбным и гостеприимным. В лоджии очень красивый сад, где много птиц. Вид с крыши лоджии отличный! Расположение лоджии тоже хорошее: не очень далеко от основной улицы, но и достаточно в отделении, чтобы ночью не было шумно. Я определённо рекомендую это место!

The room is spacious and comfy. The garden is pretty and you can look the snow mountain on the rooftop :D (if the weather is good) most importantly the owner here is so helpful and nice, although his face always look grumpy, but his heart is nice! whenever I arrive hotel, he would come to greet me and offer help for me! 10/10 here!

ポカラのメインの中心街からは少し離れているが、トレッキングの前後に立ち寄っただけでポカラに目的のない私はむしろバスターミナルや空港が近いこの立地は便利でしたし、静かでよかったです。観光客向けではないローカルの店が近いのも利点でした。 オーナーさんが気さくです。帰りが遅くなるときは心配させてしまうので、遅くなる旨を伝えましょう。 雨季でオフシーズンなのもあり誰も他に客がいなかったので、とても快適でした。トレッキング中の荷物を10日間預かってもらったが、特に帰ってからの宿の予約をしなくてもずっと預かってくれ、保管も問題なかった。結局トレッキングから戻ってきても宿泊した。

部屋に戻るとカビ臭い。コンセントにつなげるタイプの防臭剤は用意してくれている。

良 ・オーナーが優しい雰囲気。 ・シャワーは及第レベル。少し待ったらお湯がでる。そこそこの勢い、 ・部屋の照明が明るい。エアコンはないがファンがあるので8月でも暑くはなかった ・トイレはふつうに水を流すことができる。ネパールではけっこう感動します。 ・洗濯物干し、シャンプー、スリッパ、Wifi，電気ケトル、ティーバッグなどほしいものは一式揃っていた ・バスターミナルから徒歩15分程度で近い。スーツケースだと少ししんどいと思う。 ・近くにスーパーやレストランもある。スーパーはdragon martという名前で、大通りには面していない。

・設備は少し古いかもしれない。 ・部屋が一階でした。フロント通らず敷地に入れそうでセキュリティは少し心配。オーナーからは、寝る時マストで鍵を閉めるように言われました。 ・停電するとコンセントやファンは止まる。照明は半分生きていた。停電時はレストランでも明かりが点かないので仕方ないのかもしれない。 値段はそこそこ安くてそれでいて特に不満はなく良いホテルでした。

Warm welcoming family, great mountain view from the window and the roof top. R00m is modest and clean. Perfect location if you depart or arrive to Tourist bus station, it is just about 10 minutes walk, close to the lake as well and the main street. Keep in mind,need to be at place before 10 pm.

The owner and their family was really welcoming, i felt really comfortable. And they were very accommodating to my plans and needs. Breakfast was delicious. And they were really kind. Cannot recommend them enough.

The owner was a grumpy unfriendly guy. It was hot in Pokhara and it didn't help that the ceiling fan wouldn't work properly - even the highest speed was just insufficient... The owner showed a couple more rooms but all of them had the same problem. Had a sleepless night thanks to this issue

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Also this time the facilities and comfort were very good.

Mr Mahendra and his wife were kind enough to serve us some excellent Rajma and roti in the morning since we dont take eggs and bread would suffice for a heavy day ahead Rooms ambience and view was superb. Mr Mahendra was always available and very impressive with omnipresence. Very neat and clean

We didn't realize the difference bw normal and deluxe. For the price we paid high end toiletries was unfair so better to carry your toiletries

Hotel very well located. Close to the center and the lake. Very quiet, nice inner garden. in the room. Maybe only clothes hangers were missing. The owner helped us with booking transport at a good price.

Stayed 4 days the first time and stayed a week the second time. The place is very peaceful and the garden is beautiful. Room is clean and spacious. The owner is very kind, helpful and friendly. We will stay again if we are in Pokhara in future. Highly recommended

This was our third visit to this hotel. Our first stay was 10 years ago. Mahindra and his wife are so kind and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They serve a delicious breakfast daily in their beautiful courtyard. They are happy to arrange excursions and taxis for guests. We look forward to our next visit!

The property owner is helpful and co-operative. The shower, including warm water, is good. All amenities are functional, too. Value for money!

The spouse of the male owner is, in my eyes, less customer friendly than the owner himself. All accommodations calculate a surcharge* of approximately 3.5% on the Rupee amount after converting the US Dollar amount indicated in the booking. *costs of the Nepali bank

A more than perfect hotel ! It is super well located in relation to the main street and the tourist bus parking lot. A quiet and charming place. The managers are super nice and helpful. The breakfast is incredible !

There was no hot water but as it was very hot it didn't matter.

I stayed for 1 night but extended another night and booked the King Studio room. The highlight of the room was a comfortable bed and a full-size western bathtub with ample hot water. After a day of trekking, soaking in the bathtub was blissful. The proprietor Mahendra and his wife were humble, attentive, and caring. Mahendra helped me with info about hiking trails and even gave me a lift on his scooter to the tourist bus station when I was heading for the next leg of my journey. The location is a bit further off than the main Lakeside section of town, but I chose the location for a more peaceful and quiet area anyway. I recommend his place if you want a quiet location with a full bathtub and a nice comfy bed. Plus, Mahendra has a lot of good knowledge, so he can help you plan for your Pokhara stay.

We loved everything. Warm welcoming, the owner of the hotel is doing a great job and makes your stay comfortable, helps with Tipps. The room was very nice, especially the blankets. The bathroom also very clean. Top view from the roof of the hotel, where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning by watching to the mountains. Just few minutes to the city centre.

Very good price for a large room. The location was good, near to the main lakeside road.

Shower was a bit cold and came out in one stream, but the bathroom itself was still very nice and the power of the shower was good.

It's a home stay in a nice quiet street away from the main areas. Place is run by a family. They are pleasant people. It is clean, quiet, secure, well kept, has a nice garden and flowers. It's good value for money.

The area has frequent power cuts. Room was clean but basic with no TV. Gate closes at 11 so you can't really do night outs. There are mosquitos. They do provide mosquito repellent but you will get bitten. Terrace was disappointing.

overall state of the room was not great. lights were very dim, and room could have been cleaner. the bathroom was in a poor condition, owner was not informed about the state of the broken shower, and had to organize a plumber. breakfast was very basic.

The New Pokhara Lodge is a wonderful place. It is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The rooms are minimalistic but with everything you need (e.g. hotwater/tea), the bathroom is big and like the other room very clean. Wifi works in the room. The garden is perfect to do some exercise or reading a book. And there is the stunning view from the rooftop. And all that for reasonable prices. Mahindra is great host aswell. So all in all a 10/10. I will come again.

First of all, I think it´s important to mention that I stayed for 5 nights, while most of the visitors stay for 1 or 2 nights before trekking. New Pokhara Lodge is a very cozy and welcoming hotel, with extremely polite and warm owners - they were interested in asking how I was when I felt sick, bringing me water and making themselves available to help. The hotel is located at the edge of the lakeside, making it quiet and ideal for a nice sleep, whilst being only a few minutes away from the lake and the central part of the area. It also has a well-kept garden. The breakfast offered was eggs (in any of the usual forms), which is typical in Nepali budget hotels, along with coffee, juice and a banana.

New Pokhara Lodge is a great place to stay in Pokhara. It's quiet, comfortable has a great view of the Annapurna Range from the roof and is just off the main drag. I have stayed twice now and the staff are very kind and helpful and are keen to help with tours, guides and any onward travel. You Can't go wrong here, it's ideal prior to and after a trek
