Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway

La vue depuis la chambre est époustouflante. Tout au sud de l'île, ce qui signifie tranquillité et paysage authentique. Cependant, le hameau possède restaurant et épicerie de base. Beaucoup de familles occidentales dans ce Mercure parfaitement sûr. Personnel attentionné. Petit déjeuner d'excellente qualité.

La connexion wifi est mauvaise, mais c'est sans doute dû à la localisation excentrée de l'hôtel. L'établissement ne semble pas être parfaitement entretenu, c'est-à-dire que des peintures ou de faux gazons mériteraient un rafraîchissement, mais cela donne un côté "hors saison" presque délicieux.

Super schönes Hotel. Der Ausblick auf Pool und Meer war grandios!

Die Zimmer haben hier und da schon ein paar Macken. Man merkt das dass Hotel schon etwas älter ist. Aber es war sauber und das ist ja dann wieder die Hauptsache! Außerhalb vom Hotel gibt es aber so gut wie nichts. Eine kleine Straße mit ein paar Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aber auch nur sehr bedingt. Wir waren jeden Tag bei nanny essen, da war es sehr lecker und günstig. Im Hotel selber sind die Preise etwas höher genauso wenn du die ein Transportmittel dir buchen möchtest. Ist dies auch wieder etwas teurer.

Der Ort ist wunderbar, sehr ruhig und abgelegen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Wunderbares Zimmer. Schön gepflegte, grüne Anlage. Tolle, nette Menschen, die immer hilfsbereit zur Stelle sind.

Wir waren mit Kindern unterwegs. Der Boden im Pool war sehr aufgerauht, so dass einige Kinder über wunde Füße klagten. Der Pool könnte generell eine Generalüberholung vertragen.

Hotel is for 5 stars and the food is really good in case if you are looking for the European food as well, the service team is is so pleasant and the cleaner lady clean very good! great pool as a bonus. Really recommend!

A beautiful property in a stunning location, with very friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast selection is extensive and excellent, and the Starbucks coffee bar by the beach is a lovely feature. The surrounding nature makes the property even more special.

We did not experience any disadvantages during our stay. The property was excellent in terms of location, facilities, service, and overall atmosphere.

This is hotel… wow! We will be back next year. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much especially the security staff on the front and the concierge just in the reception but I can’t say we experienced any staff who didn’t smile and greet us. The swim up rooms were amazing and the food was also great. Do yourself a favour and try the Thai cooking class, we absolutely loved it. The beach is amazing! The little cove is so private and the staff are always on hand to help.

The only thing bad was that we had to leave!

The staff were endlessly helpful and the resort was private, well maintained and the breakfast very well stocked with variety and of good quality

Beware the sand flies on the beach at night. I was badly bitten all over, bring plenty of insect repellent. My one main complaint with the management of the resort was they were renovating the pool villa next to ours and had to call reception to ask them to stop drilling next door at past 10pm.

Friendly and proper elegant staffs. Great value for what we paid. Comfortable big size room. The hotel is under renovations and since it is low season there were more workers than guests. Very Natural surroundings. We have our own car so with large parking at front of hotel it was convenient. I like the designs of the hotel and with freshening it up it is classic beauty.

There were dozens of gardeners working the next morning and all Day to clear up trees and all so they were around swimming pool area and did not give the sense of privacy. We didn’t use the pool at all. But no complaints Aa for what we paid for the room type with big balcony and beach front view on the 3 rd floor room for 2 nights and under 4000b was a great deal including breakfast.

We also received lovely complimentary treats from the hotel, and these thoughtful gestures made us feel truly valued as guests. What impressed us the most was the incredible staff. Every single team member was friendly, professional, and always smiling. Their attention to detail was beyond anything we have experienced before. For example, I asked for mosquito spray only twice because I was getting bitten. After that, every time we came to our usual table, mosquito spray was already waiting for us without us even asking. It's such a small detail, but it perfectly shows how attentive and caring the staff are. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Everyone remembered us, greeted us warmly every day, and always made sure we had everything we needed. You can really feel that the staff care about their guests and take pride in making every stay special. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally clean. Our room was spotless every day, and the housekeeping team did an amazing job. The gardens are well maintained, the pools are clean, and the entire property has a relaxing atmosphere. The location is also fantastic if you're looking for a quiet escape while still being close enough to explore Koh Chang. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and unwind. Breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food, and dining by the sea made every morning even more enjoyable. We went in the low season so you had all the amenities and very low on other people.. Best time to go is now.

Nothing to complain about. We loved it. Oh there is no Elevator so if your on the top floor your walking which is fine for most. We had a car so no issues but... it is a fair way from the pier.. The west side of the island is great. Which the Mecure hotel is and to the south West..

Terrible stay – wouldn’t recommend We stayed for two nights, and it was a complete disaster. The hot water was completely unreliable – it would run for only about two minutes, then turn ice cold, and we’d have to wait several minutes before any hot water came back. Because of this, my husband ended up with a fever. Cleanliness was very poor. There were dead ants in the sink, and the drainage was extremely slow. The soundproofing was awful – we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and the hallway. The pillows and mattress were far too soft, offering no support at all. We both woke up with back and neck pain. Overall, a miserable experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

I booked 4 rooms in total. There were a lot of mosquitoes in every room, but I accepted it because it's close to nature. I knew this before booking. I don't understand why almost every room had an aromatherapy diffuser but no essential oils were used. I had to ask for them. Pool Villa 1611: The jacuzzi was very noisy, like it was about to break at any moment, making me hesitant to use it for fear of a short circuit. There was no aromatherapy diffuser provided. Pool-access rooms 1203-1204: The first room had musty-smelling pillows. The second room had a slight odor, and before bed, when I looked up at the ceiling, there were many dark, mold-like marks.The beds in the room were different; one was soft and the other was firm.The hairdryer is very small, unlike the one in the other room. If you have long or thick hair, it might take up to 30 minutes. The sea-view room 1523: didn't have any problems. Sehr schönes Hotel in sehr schöner, ruhiger Lage. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Beim Frühstück war stets für jeden etwas dabei und auch am Strand konnte man super relaxen. Vor der Tür gibt es super Restaurants und einen Roller Verleih (Soda) mit bestem Service.

Leider muss ich einen Punkt abziehen, weil wir einige Male Morgens bis Nachmittags recht lange unterwegs waren und hatten den "Make up room"-Schalter eingeschaltet, dennoch war das Zimmer nicht gemacht, wenn wir zurück kamen. Das lag offenbar daran, dass das grüne Lämpchen vor der Tür nicht funktionierte. Dieses wurde mehrfach erfolglos versucht zu reparieren. Man könnte aber auch klopfen und rein schauen, wenn das rote Lämpchen (do not disturb), welches funktionierte, ausgeschaltet war.

Die ruhige Lage in einem kleinen Ort. Tolle Anlage und schön eingerichtete Zimmer, tolles Frühstück und sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Leider war das Zimmer in der Nacht nicht ganz dunkel. Es drang Licht durch die Badezimmerfenster und die sehr schöne Buntglas-Trennwand in den Schlafraum.

L'hôtel est vraiment magnifique. La piscine est très grande, chaude, et il y a des endroits moins profond pour les enfants. Le personnel est vraiment adorable et la plage est très belle lorsque c'est marée haute. Magnifique couché de soleil de la plage.

Very nice property stayed in a pool villa which was a big room very clean and the pool was great also had a spa bath would recommend this room. Staff were also great and breakfast had a good enough variety.

Wir hatten die Poolvilla, Zimmer und Bad vollkommen ok und sauber. Außerhalb der Anlage gibt es einige Restaurants und ein paar Mini Markts

Leider wurde unser Pool nicht gereinigt und der Filter war entweder defekt oder wurde nicht eingeschaltet. Bei unserem fünftägigen Aufenthalt wurde das Wasser immer trüber und viele Insekten trieben an der Oberfläche. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht besucht da unserer Meinung nach ziemlich überteuert. Auch die Getränke an der Beach Bar sehr teuer.

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Eine traumhafte Bucht.

Heineken Bier mit abgelaufenen Haltbarkeitsdatum wurde serviert. Abscheulicher Geschmack. Noch schlimmer war die Tatsache, dass das Personal mir weismachen wollte, das es sich um das Produktionsdatum handelte. Das Bier war aber gemäß dem best before end Date um 6 Monate abgelaufen. Am nächsten Tag passierte das gleiche nochmal. Das Problem hatte ich in der Zwischenzeit auch der Rezeption geschildert, scheinbar ohne Erfolg. Ferner gibt es keinen Laundryservice und auch keine Minibar. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca.7 Minuten per Motorrad zu erreichen, immerhin werden 2 Flaschen Wasser bereitgestellt. Zum guten Schluss wurden aufgrund falscher Rechnungslegung mir noch rd. 400 Baht zu viel berechnet, die mit meinem Deposit verrechnet wurden. Leider ist mir das erst im Taxi aufgefallen.

Direkt am Strand, weder das Hotel noch der Strand sind überlaufen (wir waren Ende Februar dort). Nettes Cafe direkt am Strand, den ganzen Tag und auch am Abend offen.

L'emplacement est idyllique contrairement aux avis que j’avais lu, j’étais septique et quand nous sommes arrivés , quelle belle surprise ! Une plage de sable fin où la tranquillité règne, une piscine très agréable . L'endroit est magnifique et nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Quand je pense que je faillis ne pas réserver dû aux mauvais avis !!!! Comme quoi... Merci à l’hotel et juste si nous avions une critique à faire, les canoës dommage de faire payer aux résidents de l’hotel !

Unser Zimmer war etwas abgeschottet, mit Blick auf eine Bettonwand. Vom Gefühl her war es eher ein Plattenbau in Birmingham und nicht Urlaub in Thailand mit Ausblick.
