Beadnell Towers Hotel

As a luxury hotel it has everything right other than the size and cost of the "cosy" rooms which are ridiculously small. I didn't know I was booking a cosy room and if i had known they were so small I would have certainly looked at the cost of upgrading to a larger room. Very expensive for the cosy option.

Everything was excellent other than the room size. I couldn't get over the feeling of being slightly cheated with the price i paid and the accomodation I was given. It needs making very clear that the cosy rooms are tiny.

Great location. Staff were very friendly and polite. Excellent breakfast.

Even prior to arrival, the friendly courteously call from Leah was really appreciated, and we were glad we booked dinner in advance, it was definitely worth it. Such a warm and friendly reception when we first arrived from Maria, Jaydeine and Chloe. Throughout our stay we felt so at home and the hotel had a warm but relaxed feel , the touches in the reception areas, the interior and stone walls complement a busy but not chaotic vibe. The food and execution of friendly service in the restaurant was really impressive and props to Theo and Joe as well. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of variety and choice, service really well run and a good ambience. The cleanliness throughout especially in the food service area was outstanding and a credit to all the staff. breakfast was a very enjoyable experience as was dinner in the restaurant. A very bustling and popular spot for food with locals, residents and tourists alike and despite being constantly busy, the teamwork that the staff demonstrated was impressively consistent and seamlessly executed with friendly and professional panache coupled with a very human touch which created a positive buzz that we loved. … Seemed like it would take a lot to ruffle a well run and effective group. We were celebrating a special event and the staff helped make our experience very memorable and fun. The hotel had a great atmosphere and a sense that other guests were really enjoying staying here too.

Loved the location, property was beautiful and the room very clean. Bed was a bittle soft but lovely hotel. Breakfast was yummy and dinner too.

it got very hot as no air conditioning and couldn't really get much fresh air through the tiny window openings. Didn't help that we found out that the under floor heating in the bathroom had been left on. Once that got switched off it improved.

Staff socialising / drinking in bar. Restaurant is not a “restaurant” it’s an extension of the bar. Library / quiet area dirty: tables stained and sticky. Dirt and rubbish under coffee table ( domino’s, tissue, balls of dust. Straw) clearly not been moved to clean for several weeks! Restaurant food v average and service amateur. Final straw was being charged service charge in a packet of crisps in the bar! Nice place, over priced, under trained staff - specifically restaurant.

Little short on parking and just be clear with the kitchen when someone has an allergy.

This boutique hotel wasn't cheap, but our room was a good size, with a large shower and an outdoor patio. The bed was large and very comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, though there are tables in the bar area and several people had dogs. The menu was seafood heavy, naturally as we were on the coast and the food was nice. The breakfast had a good continental selection and the hot selection was freshly cooked and catered for my gluten free needs. The hotel was in a quiet location and a 10 minute walk to the fabulous beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms a very good size, furnishings are tasteful, a lovely representation of Northumberland. The en-suite bathroom was spacious with plenty of towels, and good size soap and shampoo supplied. Bathrobes and slippers also provided. Everything needed for your stay is provided in the room from hairdryer to kettle with tea and coffee. Restaurant is very good with an excellent menu, extensive breakfast selection from cereals, continental,menu of cooked options and everything in between.

We have visited this property on several occasions and had dinner there too. We stay with our dog and have always enjoyed our experience hence being returning customers.

On our last visit we mentioned when leaving that there had been a lot of noise above us during the night and also we had a leaky radiator. We booked through booking.com so had already paid for our room and we paid for our drinks and a meal as we had them. The following week I noticed £175 has been taken from my bank account. I rang and was told that was unlikely as they don’t ask for card details, but we had been asked on arrival. I explained everything and was told I would get a call back once it had been looked into. I did call back a further 2 times over the following days to repeat my story on each occasion. Eventually I was left a voicemail explaining that my card must have been charged for the guests the following week in error and that the money would be reimbursed. It duly was the following day. So for a few days this money was out of my account and a concern as my card was used and I didn’t use it to pay for the room with the hotel anyway. I sent an email to the hotel expressing my disappointment but I never received a reply.. sadly we won’t be returning but it’s a shame as we enjoyed staying there on previous occasions. So no fault with the stay as such but wasn’t happy with the customer service.

Poor functionality. Very warm room, and despite the efforts of 2 members of staff, the only window wouldn’t open more than 6 inches. The TVs many Apps were NON-accessible despite x2 staff spending30 min trying. 24hr (?) desk-I was locked out after 11pm. 15min to gain entrance. No instructions or light even at main entrance! Not even mentioned at check-in ! Beware!

A lovely one night stay at this excellent hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and nice touches like the Noble Isle toiletries. We had Dinner and Breakfast and both were great quality and tasty. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Maria on Reception in particular was very welcoming and made sure that our wedding anniversary was celebrated with a glass of fizz with Dinner.

Nothing to not like and we will definitely stay again in the future.

Exceptional staff and nice room.We were in the Coach House no.1.The main building cosy and well maintained.

For a 5 star hotel suprised not to have a room safe, nor an internal telephone connected to the hotel system. Also limited wardrobe facilities (Had to request extra hangers) consisting of a hanging frame and one shelf.

We had a meal there but it wasn’t up to what we expected I returned my food as cold then got a new meal that was so dry I couldn’t eat it I also noticed while sitting in dinning area that someone had written in the dust on one of the hanging pans. They could do with a good dust, all of them.

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel an der Norostküste Englands. Für den Besuch der Puffins war es ein geradezu perfekter Ausgangspunkt.

Stunning hotel! The decor and the location was really good! A short walk away from the beach and local pubs.

Not a lot, our room had a creaky bathroom door and the floor squeaked a bit. One suggestion would be to have a fridge in the room for the complementary water, especially as is gets warmer.

The room. Bed was comfy. Bath & powerful shower. Warm & comfy.

Wait for food. Breakfast was not up to the standards I would expect. Waited 30 minutes for porridge!!!! English breakfast disappointing. Bacon over cooked!! The courses at dinner came out too quickly , never got chance to let the starter go down & dinner was put in front of you. For a Michelin key hotel, disappointed.

Not keen on the open showers in the bathrooms as water goes all over the floor. The duvets are rather warm for the time of the year.

Sympathetically and beautifully furnished hotel with superb staff: especially Maria and Mick but all waiting on and cleaning staff. We loved our room which had a sumptuously comfortable bed. The bar and restaurant was full of atmosphere with a very wide selection of beers, wines and cocktails. The food at breakfast was good too.

Nothing we didn’t like but the Sunday lunch wasn’t very hot, but perfectly tasty. It was a bank holiday and they were extremely busy.

We booked a junior suite (Sheil) which was long and narrow and lacked a view, a bath and storage space. A bit noisy too

Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice on food and drinks. Including a smoothie which was a nice touch. The hotel decor was very eloquent and fitting with the old building. Very clean and all staff were well presented and very friendly, making us feel welcome.

The location was excellent,close to the beach for dog walks. The food was excellent, plenty of choice and good produce. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff were friendly and efficient.

We stay here quite often as it's our favourite place. The rooms are always spotless and the sparkling water and chocolate are always a lovely touch. Breakfast is very tasty too.

This sounds so trivial but having fresh cheese rather than individually packaged portions at breakfast would be more ideal!

We were awoke by a loud noise in the middle of the night on the Saturday , it sounded like a generator or industrial noise , it went on for what felt like an hour and woke us up and then kept us up , didn’t want to make a fuss the next day as we love the place .

Property has a brilliant location for lovely walk on the beach and surrounding areas.

The hotel was very clean but the most outstanding thing about this property is the staff. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful they made our doggies feel so welcome too.

Beautiful room, although it was very hot, especially during the night, even though the weather was freezing outside. We found the fan in the wardrobe the next day, so we were happy on the 2nd night.

Craas Nest was the best room - beautiful copper bath, huge comfy bed, great shower, lovely views. Wonderful friendly staff, particularly Cameron and Chloe in the bar. Thank you for a great stay!

We came here on New Year’s Day, and it was very relaxing, really enjoyed our night. Beautiful building and decor, lovely and clean and most of all dog friendly ☺️

The only thing I would say is you could have problems getting parked as there isn’t a huge car park area, unless there is other parking available. We were fortunate to get a space straight away on our stay.

One chief found it impossible to cook tuna stake to my request even though the lovely service staff explained in three different ways. The same chief served cold par- boiled egg with liquid cold yolks with the raw tuna. One morning, the toaster didn't work. The same chief appeared to find it difficult to make toast for the few guests down for breakfast and kept them waiting. Other chiefs' food was excellent.

Both were excellent. Room was perfect and better than we expected. Staff were brilliant and helpful. Bar area was well laid out. Cocktails and barman very good Meals were lovely.

Thought the cost for the dog was expensive. £25 for 1 night. We have a very small dog. I did expect a cost but thought it was included in the booking.

Lovely place to stay in Beadnell, we would go back again. Really nice decor, warm and very comfortable. Cosy bar area with cocktails and a lovely ambience. Food in the restaurant was excellent for lunch and dinner. Staff were friendly (if a bit rushed off their feet at times!). Walking distance to other restaurants and the beach.

It's very dog friendly which can be nice but is not always ideal if you're not a dog owner and have dogs close when you're having a drink, eating etc. I'd add there are pet free rooms so that was a good thing.
