La posizione dell’hotel è buona perché un po’ decentrata dalla zona in cui si trova la gran parte dei ristoranti/negozi e per questo è tranquilla; comunque in dieci minuti a piedi si arriva nella parte più “viva” della città’. La vista dalle finestre è molto bella, mare e promontorio sull’altra riva. La doccia fa parte della nota negativa della recensione, perché il bagno della nostra camera ci ha molto deluso: minuscolo, senza finestra, soffitto basso con rischio continuo di battere la testa sulle travi in legno (nell’insieme soffocante).

Le dimensioni della camera, compreso il bagno. Tutto troppo piccolo, abbiamo inciampato sempre nel letto. Anche in camera il soffitto è troppo basso.

As a solo traveller the hotel was in a location for access to Kefalonia bus routes, Ferries, excursions and Argostoli Square for fantastic shopping. The staff and owners were great and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! Even though we had a mix up in communication, my request for a sea view room was missed, but it turned out for the best! The room was super quiet which was needed. Very thing happens for a reason.

La struttura si trova in posizione centrale con affaccio sul porto, è raggiungibile tutto a piedi sia per il passeggio sul corso principale sia sul lungomare. Di fronte c'è un ampio parcheggio e la fermata dei bus. La stanza ampia con vista sul mare, pulizia impeccabile. Letto alto e comodo. C'è il frigo ma vuoto. Vengono lasciati in omaggio due bottiglie d'acqua e la macchina del caffè con due cialde. Personale molto gentile. La colazione è servita nel portico all'ingresso, viene fornito al tavolo dove ci si siede yogurt, miele, marmellata, pane, cornettino, a richiesta una bevanda calda e qualcosa di salato come uova strapazzate. L'ultimo giorno siamo andati via prima dell'apertura della colazione a causa del volo presto e ci è stata preparata la sera prima una colazione da asporto. Nonostante fosse in posizione centrale, la zona è appena fuori al chiasso dei locali e bar quindi si dorme tranquilli.

Ottima struttura in una posizione comoda per raggiungere il centro e, proprio davanti al mare. Stanza pulita e colazione molto buona e varia, ma soprattutto uno staff super gentile e disponibile.

Albergo di fronte al mare attaccato al centro di Argostoli, ottimo punto di appoggio per muoversi e visitare l’isola. Camera pulitissima e ragazze all’ingresso super disponibili (ombrellone per le spiagge libere da prendere gratuitamente in prestito in albergo!). Rapporto qualità/prezzo straordinario

Our room had an amazing view. We could sit on the balcony overlooking the sea in Argostoli and enjoy the sunset, which was one of the highlights of our stay - very pretty! I believe some rooms face the sea while others are located on the other side of the building, so we felt quite lucky to have one with such a beautiful view. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of useful tips about the city, bus timetables, and even tips about small festivals and events taking place during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent: it is less than a five-minute walk from the central square and the turtle-viewing area, only one or two minutes from the Lixouri ferry departure point, and around two to three minutes from the bus station, which also has connections to the airport. The room itself was quite small, but very cozy, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We also booked breakfast one morning, which was very nice. They brought us coffee, bread, pancakes, and various other items after asking what we would like. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again :)

La struttura ci è piaciuta per la posizione, davvero comoda e strategica, e per la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff. Un punto di forza è sicuramente anche il panorama dalla camera, davvero molto bello.

La camera, pur essendo pulita e curata non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Gli spazi erano piuttosto ridotti e il letto era piccolo e poco comodo, rendendo il riposo abbastanza difficoltoso. Purtroppo, abbiamo dormito male durante il soggiorno. Per il prezzo pagato ci aspettavamo una camera più spaziosa e soprattutto un letto più confortevole.

Struttura super centrale ma fuori dal caos delle vie principali che comunque sono proprio dietro l’angolo per quando la sera si vuole fare una passeggiata. Le camere sono contenute ma dotate di tutto il necessario, pulitissime e davvero curate con dei graziosi balconcini da cui godere di una bellissima vista dal porto di Argostoli. Di fronte la struttura è anche presente un grande parcheggio gratuito dove poter lasciare la macchina. Cambio asciugamani ogni giorno e ragazze dello staff tutte gentilissime e davvero disponibili. Era un piacere la sera tornare in una camera come quella!

La posizione è ottima, da alcune stanze è possibile vedere l'alba sul porto direttamente dal balconcino. Lo staff disponibile e cordiale.

Nonostante la modernità delle stanze, la prima cosa che si nota sono le dimensioni ridotte e la mancanza di un vero e proprio armadio dove poter sistemare le proprie cose, anche perché è impossibile lasciare la valigia aperta a terra senza che essa sia di intralcio. Shower had no screen so got a bit flooded and you could hear quite a lot from the hallway. Breakfast was also mostly sweeter food.

Lovely staff (as always in Greece) with that genuin way, also gave us much needed recommendations, etc. Breakfast served at the table, still hade not gotten tired of it after 10 days! You get to choose from different ways the eggs are to be made, warm bread, fruits, anything you can ask for. Great room overlooking the water, really comfortable beds (I am a little picky when it comes to that). Easy to get parking despite being that close to town. Overall, really great experience.

Doors shutting can be heard into the room, they should put some sound reduction on the doors. Takes a few minutes to get to the start of the shopping streets and where most of the restaurants are. Dont really have much negative to say on the whole.

The hotel is very comfortable and stylish .The staff are welcoming , helpful and friendly .although our room was a,title small it as fine for a short stay and the ensuite was very modern with an excellent shower . The bed was also very comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep .Also enjoyed the breakfast which as a great start to our day

La camera non aveva alcun punto di appoggio, solamente una piccola mensola, neanche un appendiabiti. La colazione ripetitiva e rapporto qualità prezzo non adatto. Ambiente freddo non ospitale, le ragazze gentili ma non attente, come se avessero la testa fra le nuvole. Forse bisognerebbe cambiare canzone… tutto il giorno la stessa canzone è veramente da pazzi. Un signore di una certa età , seduto tutto il giorno nella hall non accennava mai un saluto. Posto strano.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt.

Das Badezimmer war leider sehr klein und etwas eng. Außerdem wurden die Treppen im Gang vermutlich gerade gereinigt und der Boden war sehr rutschig. Es gab jedoch kein Warnschild, sodass ich ausgerutscht und hingefallen bin. Hier wäre ein Hinweis wie „Achtung, Rutschgefahr“ sinnvoll gewesen. Ansonsten habe ich nichts weiter zu beanstanden.

Very much noise all the time, doors did not isolate at all, noise coming from reception after 12 am. Slept very poorly because of the noises..would not come back here again. Air conditioning had a weird smell, probably was not cleaned.

This was our best stay in Greece. The hotel is perfect, well located, the staff made us feel like home, delicious breakfast and the room was very comfortable.

Ho soggiornato all’Hotel King A e posso dire con certezza che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. Mi sono sentita accolta e a mio agio fin dal primo momento: il personale è stato incredibilmente gentile, disponibile e caloroso, tanto da farmi sentire come a casa. Viaggiando da sola, per me è stato ancora più importante trovare un ambiente sicuro e familiare, e qui mi sono sentita completamente tranquilla e coccolata. La posizione dell’hotel è perfetta: molto comoda, ma allo stesso tempo in una zona silenziosa e rilassante, ideale per riposarsi dopo le giornate in giro. È uno di quei posti in cui si percepisce davvero la cura per l’ospite. Lo consiglierei senza esitazione e ci tornerei volentieri.

The location was ideal. The view from the balcony is perfect. The decor was simple but pristine (possibly redecorated in time for the new season).

The hot water took a little while to come through, but we weren't in a hurry. There was a Nespresso coffee machine, but no pods provided, however it was a short walk to a small supermarket which had pods on sale.

Nah am Zentrum und großer, kostenloser Parkplatz direkt gegenüber. Toller Ausblick und recht geräumiger Balkon. Personal bzw. Familie wirklich sehr herzlich!!

Frühstück war mehr als einfach und es gab keinerlei Auswahlmöglichkeit außer beim Ei. Uns hat ein Schrank oder ein größeres Regal gefehlt. Man war irgendwie gezwungen aus dem Koffer zu leben. Bad sehr klein und beim Duschen wird der gesamte Raum Nass.

I can't say enough great things about this place. I seriously want to come back to Kefalonia just so that I can stay here again. It's a family run place and they are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ended up just chatting with Amalia and her family for about an hour. My room was great - clean, very comfortable bed - the balcony faced directly onto the waterfront and was big enough to enjoy easily. It's easy walking to everything in Argostoli. My stay included breakfast. The breakfast is amazing in its simplicity. Scrambled eggs with a couple of cucumber slices on the side. Amazing yogurt with fresh fruit. And when I send away the bread she comes back with some rice pudding they've just made. It's lightly topped with cinnamon that hits just perfectly.

Lovely small hotel with a great location overlooking the water. It was very clean and staff were all excellent. Fridge and kettle in room. I didn’t include breakfast as I wanted to eat out.

Great little Boutique Hotel just off the centre of Argostoli overlooking the rowing club by the harbour. We spent one night in Argostoli, and this little Hotel was perfect. We had a harbour view room which was lovely and had everything we needed, the side rooms have the benefit of afternoon/evening sunshine on their balconies. We were not expecting great things for breakfast, but the offering was amazing: fresh orange juice, Greek yogurt with honey, apple, granola, raspberry compote, followed by fresh bread and croissants and a choice of eggs. I’m sure other reviewers will mention breakfast! If you are looking for a clean, hospitable, friendly little bolthole in Argostoli this is perfect. We will return!

The property was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, especially in the morning. The location was peaceful yet close to everything we needed. We had a wonderful time in this little boutique hotel. Staff is very kind and attentive, anything we needed they handled with a smile. Towels for the beach, they even gave us a free umbrella. Location is excellent, walking distance to town. It seems that they renovated it recently with a minimal decor which we love. We had the sea view room on the second floor, it was a gem. Breakfast was delicious, made fresh on the spot. We are so happy to have discovered this spot as we travel every year to Kefalonia and will certainly add it for our future travels.

το δωμάτιο όχι απλά δεν αξίζει τα λεφτά αυτά, αλλά θα έπρεπε να σε πληρώνουν για να μείνεις. Το δωμάτιο είναι τόσο στενό, που με το ζόρι χωράει ένα άτομο να κυκλοφορήσει γύρω από το κρεβάτι. Η ηχομόνωση είναι ανύπαρκτη, ακούς και το ροχαλητό όλων όσων κοιμούνται στον όροφο, δεν συζητάμε για πόρτες, μπαλκονόπορτες, παράθυρα που ακούγονται. Το τραγικότερο όλων είναι το μπάνιο. Η υποτιθέμενη ντουζιέρα είναι ένα τζάμι που χωρίζει τη βρύση του ντουζ από την τουαλέτα. Ο χώρος γίνεται μούσκεμα για να κάνει κάποιος μπάνιο, το νερό δεν έχει πίεση και το καλύτερο το καλώδιο του ντουζ είναι τόσο κοντό που φτάνει για να πλυθεί ένα μωρό. Η πόρτα του μπάνιου δεν έκλεινε, τη δεύτερη μέρα που το είπαμε θεωρητικά την έφτιαξαν…αλλά πάλι δεν έκλεινε. Άρα πληρώνεις 100 ευρώ τη βραδιά για να μην μπορείς να πλυθείς, να κοιμηθείς και να ησυχάσεις. Στο χώρο του πρωινού υπήρχε σκυλάκι ελεύθερο, χωρίς να σκέφτεται κανείς πιθανές αλλεργίες και κανόνες υγιεινής σε χώρο εστίασης.
