Fabulous location, friendly staff who keep the whole hotel spotlessly clean. We had an amazing room over looking the sea. We spent a lot of time on the balcony just sitting watching the boats and from time to time the turtles swim round the bay

The breakfast area could be made a bit more welcoming..maybe some music and table cloths

We had a really nice stay at Hotel Aggelos and were very happy with our experience. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day, actually twice a day, which we really appreciated. The staff was also very nice and helpful. The location is great, right by the sea and only about a 5-minute walk from the main centre.

Our only comment would be about the breakfast. It was good overall, but it was the same every day, especially the boiled eggs every morning. It would be nice to have a little more variety during the week.

Hotelul foarte curat, locatie excelenta, personalul foarte amabil. Curatenie in camera de 2 ori pe zi nu am vazut nici la 5 stele.

Mic dejun desi bogat in cantitate, compus preponderent din dulciuri (baclava, croissante din comert, tot felul de prajiturele, dulceata, miere, crema de ciocolata ). Am avut cascaval feliat, sunca feliata si salam, rosii si castraveti oua fierte, omleta, bacon prajit. Branza lipseste, la fel ouale ochiuri, adica ce se mananca de obicei dimineata. Acelasi mic dejun zilnic, fara imaginatie. Acel mic dejun la care stai si te gandesti oare ce as putea manca....si nu te atrage mai nimic. O diversificare a micului dejun ar duce la punctaj maxim din partea mea.

The location is perfect, just a short walking distance to the center of Argostoli. The room was comfortable and lovely ( not with a sea view but ok ) and was cleaned twice a day which was something we really appreciated. The reception personnel ( especially the young girl ) were super friendly and helpful. We were lucky to find parking slot in front of the hotel everyday during our stay The breakfast was okay Overall experience made our stay very enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

More salty products at the breakfast , the choices are mostly sweety.

Great room, amazing views, perfect stay. Breakfast was nice and fresh, able to take to room balcony. Was given flowers and cake for my birthday, lovely surprise! Joanna at reception (hope I spelt it correctly) was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Hotel and room extremely clean and tidy.

Had an issue with our safe key on the last night. The man and woman on reception were not the best in the situation and made the last night a bit of a disappointment but he apologised the next morning, as we checked out. (we all have off days) Will still recommend this hotel and stay again without hesitation.

The view was amazing. Location perfect in a quiet part of town but a short walk to cafés, bars, shops and restaurants. The staff were lovely and helpful and made us very welcome. The room was small but clean with a cute little balcony. Our room was made up in the morning and before bedtime each day. Breakfast had a lot of choice of pastries and cakes, fruit, eggs, bread, cold meat, Yoghurt, Fruit juice and hot drinks.

The bathroom was quite small but that's ok. More sockets in the room would have been good but we were given an extension socket so it wasn't a problem.

La struttura non è dotata di ascensore. Inoltre la decantata colazione è di buona per gli standard greci ma non eccezionale (acqua di rubinetto in brocche e una volta finito lo yogurt, ad esempio, non veniva rimpiazzato)

Éjszakai pihenéshez a tengerre néző front kissé hangos. A reggelihez nekünk hiányoztak a zöldségek, a gyümölcsök és a sajt nem tűnt frissnek.

Doccia praticamente aperta quindi ogni volta che ci si lava si crea un lago d'acqua in bagno, solo due prese di corrente in stanza, stanza molto piccola e poco spazio per valigie e indumenti (dalle foto sembra più grande), colazione mediocre

Not very new room, we imagined it differently, also the air flowing to the bathroom was very unpleasant.

La posizione , la camera vista mare, la pulizia , la tranquillità.

L'hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla della città, ma a 5/10 minuti a piedi dalla piazza e dai negozi. Facile parcheggiare proprio fuori o nelle vicinanze. Ottimo hotel, vicino a tutti i servizi, tutto il personale è stato molto disponibile, sempre un sorriso di benvenuto da parte dei proprietari e del personale. Ogni sera, al rientro dalla cena, letto rifatto, bagno pulito, asciugamani cambiati. Camere pulite due volte al giorno e tutto è pulitissimo. L'aria condizionata era efficiente Le camere non sono grandi ma sono dotate di aria condizionata e frigorifero. La connessione Wi-Fi gratuita è disponibile per gli ospiti. La colazione a buffet era più che adeguata con cose diverse tra cui scegliere: dolci, uova, pancetta, frutta, succo di frutta, pane, yogurt, ecc. In sintesi, un piccolo hotel ideale per una vacanza rilassante.

Aggiungerei prese elettriche vicino ai comodini.

It is a very good location for walking to the shops and restaurants. Very clean and the sea view and small balcony was perfect.

The view of the cruise ship that moored up for a night and all day but obviously this wasn't the hotel's fault. Very good value for a couple of nights stay.

At end of waterfront stretch of Argostoli, this hotel was mostly quiet and very convenient to sightseeing. Being in summer season, the arrival of cruise ships was daily entertainment!

Beautiful location looking over Argostoli Bay, especially if you have a room overlooking the sea. Short walk to the main area that has the bars and restaurants.

We didn’t enjoy the breakfast, plenty of availability, but not to our liking, we preferred some of the cafe bars opposite the main area, for healthy options. No lounge area as such, so either balcony or bed for seating.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and much more spacious than we expected based on the photos. Housekeeping did an excellent job, cleaning the room twice a day and keeping everything in perfect condition throughout our stay. One of the absolute highlights was the view from our balcony. We were lucky enough to see both dolphins and sea turtles from our room, which made our stay even more special and unforgettable. Another standout feature was the shower. After many trips to Greece, we can honestly say this was the best shower we have ever had in a Greek hotel – excellent water pressure and a modern, comfortable bathroom. We would also like to thank the hotel owner for recommending a car rental company. The entire rental process went smoothly, the service was excellent, and it made exploring the island very easy. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Excellent accommodation, outstanding service, and unforgettable views. We would gladly stay here again! With kind regards, Tom and Daphne

Kedves személyzet. Nagyon jó elhelyezkedés a város szélén. Nyugodt, ugyanakkor közel a városközpont. A szobát napi kétszer takarítják és rendet tesznek, mindig rendkívüli tisztaság fogadott minket.

A reggeli lehetne változatosabb, több zöldséget és húst tartalmazhatna a sok péksütemény és édesség helyett.

Location was good. Walk right and you are within main town within 10 minutes. Walk left and there is a nice walk to the sinkhole, lighthouse and beyond that a nice nature trail. Breakfast can be taken up to the room where there is a good view of mountains, sea and cruise ship. Staff were very helpful.

Only a minor point. The shower was not enclosed so the room becomes very wet.

It's a family-run hotel. Very friendly staff and Spyros is doing a great job running it. For me it was love at first sight looking at the pictures when booking. And for just a little bit more i got myself a room looking over the bay. Great value ! My little balcony was a favorite. And location. It's in a quiet corner of the boulevard with everything in walking distance. Breakfast had a lot to choose from and set me up for my adventures just great. If i go back to Argostoli, i will choose Aggelos as my base again. It felt like home after 2 days. In May, there's enough space in the parkinglot just a little walk away.

It wasn't easy to keep the bathroom from getting soaked. Which made me a bit angry at myself, every morning. I mentioned that to the owner, by the way. That's it. I love Aggelos.

The view on the bay was amazing from the room. The staff were great, they made up the room even in the evening if we went out to dinner, the were so helpful if we asked anything. Great hotel for good price 5 min walk from city center with all the restaurants and shops. I would recommend it.

Lovely Receptionist, who always gave a warm greeting and was very helpful. Excellent cleaning lady, room was spotless. They should put a hanging hook behind the bathroom door, as space there is rather limited. Good breakfast. The old man who was there every day, was often sleeping in reception...NOT a good look for a professional establishment. Very grumpy looking, as you came down for breakfast, not the best start to a person's day. Kefalonia was just beautiful.

Die Lage top! Blick auf den Hafen. Traumhaft. Modernes Zimmer, sauber und für Kurzaufenthalt völlig ausreichend von der Größe und Stauraum her. Wir konnten zudem über zwei Stunden früher einchecken und das Zimmer nutzen. Das war sehr nett. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig. Da war für jeden etwas dabei.

Das Bad ist winzig, keine Ablagefläche. Für eine Nacht ging es, doch bei längerem Aufenthalt könnte es eine logistische Herausforderung werden. Der Frühstücksraum im Keller ist etwas ungemütlich. Außerdem wurde nicht umsichtig abgeräumt. Nachkommende Gäste mussten sich an vollgestellte Tische setzen. Und auch dann wurde nicht abgeräumt….

Friendly staff and excellent location..

…when the cruise ships aren’t in, check the calendar. We went to bed with a glorious sea view, backed by mountains & woke up to a naff looking boat on the water completely blocking our view, both days. Breakfast was vast but not great. Pastries tasted stale. It would make more sense to do less amounts well.

Sa situation sur le port, proche des restaurants et du centre ville mais suffisamment à l’écart pour sa tranquillité. Chambre confortable, propre, service et petit déjeuner très satisfaisants.

Pas grand chose, peut-être la salle d’eau toujours un peut petite dans cette catégorie d’hôtel.

Great view of the sea from our balcony. Room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Good breakfast selection. Staff friendly and helpful as always.

The location, security, building, room cleanliness and breakfast were very good. The management went out of their way to meet our needs, which we appreciated. There were only 2 areas which could be improved in our opinion. The internet in our room was unreliable so we had to go the reception area to use our phones and all available television programs were in Greek.

Location was perfect, by the sea and the town. The room had a balcony, comfy bed, fridge with bottles of water. After going out for the evening we came back to find a little package of biscuits. Breakfast had everything. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The view over the bay was stunning. Easy access to restaurants and bars. Parking not too difficult if you’re happy to park a 5 minutes walk away away from the hotel. Pretty quiet, as the hotel is on the edge of the town centre. Room extremely clean. Air conditioning and essential mozzie screens in place.

Only one plug socket in room. Made charging more than one phone and a camera difficult. No cupboard or drawers, so lived out of suitcases for a week (suitcases had to lay on floor). Very small room for two people. No lift, so hiking heavy suitcases up and downstairs was not fun; those who struggled with walking or had prams/wheelchairs would have a terrible time. Cleaners came into the rooms very early (before 10). If you missed their visit, the hotel was very insistent that they were able to access the room again that day. Female staff were lovely. Man was taciturn and monosyllabic throughout our stay.

The room was too small and the bathroom had a door that scraped along the floor which made a loud noise and so did the bedroom door. Limited space to put things in the bathroom.
