Mida De Sea Hua Hin - SHA PLUS

Erittäin hyvä ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Vaikka joitan ongelmia oli, niihin löytyi apua ja halua korjata asia. Huone oli suuri ja siisti. Parveke meren suuntaan. Tämä on paikka vähän sivummalla missä on maataloutta ja täällä todella herää kukon laulun aikaan. Muutama sata metriä 7/11 ja ruokapaikkoihin. Myös iltatori lähistöllä. Boltilla pääsee Hua Hin keskustaan sopivasti eikä maksa paljoa.

Hotellilta on kuljetus Hua Hin keskustaan. Ok, pääsimme keskustaan mutta kuljettaja ei koskaan tullut hakemaan takaisin vaikka oli sovittu tietty aika. Otimme sitten Boltin ja hotelli korvasi matkan hinnan. Suihkun vedenpaine välillä heikko eikä kuumaa vettä tullut. Johtaja kertoi että jotain ongelmaa veden pumpussa. Mutta tämäkin hyvin normaalia Thaimaassa.

Pool was lovely, clean. Room was very well equipped. Bed was soooo comfortable with very nice sheets and pillows. Very happy with it. Would highly recommend.

It’s a little far from the center of town and not on the beach but it was great as advertised.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. As it was last time, our stay was as exceptional and outstanding as it was last time. The employees throughout the hotel all are wonderful and strive to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. The facilities are spotless, rooms large and breakfast outstanding. If you endeavour to have an enjoyable weekend or holiday, Mida de Sea, Hua Hin is a MUST try. I look forward to the next time I visit this hotel and their outstanding staff. I have travelled and worked all over the world before retiring, and can honestly say this might be the best hotel I have ever stayed at!! Bob J.

Nice hospitality and great service!

A mixed bag. On the positive side, the room and the pool were fantastic. hats off to them for using glass bottles for water in rooms. On the downside. With one or 2 exceptions (Nok in the restaurant) the staff were not well trained in hospitality. Almost appearing disinterested in guests. Restaurant food was average and to get to alternative eating places was a 15 minute ride in a van, that needed to be pre booked.

This is our second time in this hotel. The staff are nice and super helpful, the room is big and nice, and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not on the beach, but they have a shuttle that can take you anytime to a near beach with their own sun beds. The sun beds are around 10-15 and we always managed to find two sun beds to enjoy the beach. They also have shuttle to take you from/to the town (which is about 10-15 minutes) for free and available every two hours. I find this service so valuable, especially that the hotel’s location is considered a bit far from the town and night market and transportation can be costly or difficult. The price is affordable and the services are quite good. The breakfast has variety options of acceptable quality. The swimming pool is a bit narrow, but nice, and I noticed that many guests enjoyed it more than the beach- so it depends if you are a pool person or a beach person. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel to people who do not mind distance to town, looking for affordable options, and aiming to have relaxing and chilling retreats/vacation away from loud and quick paced city life.

Exellent value for money and vacation. Quiet and peaceful enviroment with easy access to the beach where they have few own sunbeds at the beach. Friendly staff who arranged thai cooking course for our family at the hotel restaurant.

No opening windows in room

Just arrived in Norway after 3 weeks on Mida De sea. Exellent hotel with breakfast buffet with all you need. Great friendly staff on all levels. The staff seams to have fun at work, which tells me that the management take good care of the staff! Highly recomended. Good location. 5 minuts from the beach. Free personal sunbeds belonging to the hotel. 13 km from Hua Hin city, with free shuttel many times a day.

สถานที่ ห้องพัก ค่อนข้างเก่า มีสเต็ป-ยกพื้น ที่เรียบไม่เท่ากัน หน้าประตูห้อง และบริเวณก่อนออกระเบียง 3704 บานประตูกระจกระเบียงกว้างใหญ่ สวย วิวดี แต่บานประตูติดขัด เปิดไม่ได้ ยังดีที่ทางโรงแรมส่งช่างมาซ่อมให้จนใช้การได้ โทรศัพท์ภายใน ห้อง 1601 เสียงเบาแทบไม่ได้ยินว่าอีกฝ่ายพูดอะไร (คุยกับพนักงานของโรงแรม) แจ้งเสริมเตียงตอนเที่ยงๆ จนเกือบสามทุ่ม ยังไม่ไปทำให้ ลูกค้าต้องตามเอง เหมือนเวรกลางคืนไม่รู้เรื่องใดๆ เสียดายที่อยู่ห่างทะเล ต้องนั่งรถบั๊กกี้ไปแล้วเดินต่ออีกหน่อย แขกที่สูงอายุหรือใช้วีลแชร์ จะไม่ค่อยสะดวกเท่าไหร่

There are a group of hotels up just north of Hua Hin - technically at Cha Am - and Mida de Sea is one of these... all are good. Slightly brutalist but functional dedign in blocks of seven storeys. Direct line-of-sight out to the beach and the sea. Good checkin, comfortable night of sleep and breakfadt Adian buffet style - very palatable. Its 104 baht on Grab down to the shopping centres in Hua Hin... or about $3. You'll save 10x that by staying out on this side of town and avoid all the business in Hua Hin, especially in December. Thai families come to this area rather than into town and they know their own country (hint).

I have travelled all over the world and can honestly say this is one of the Best hotels I have ever visited. You can immediately tell that the customer is their most important asset. From top to bottom their friendliness , professional attitude and desire to make your stay a truly enjoyable experience is immediately noticeable at Mida de Sea. From the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and porters and courtesy drivers all with the same attitude and smile. The amenities, cleanliness and location are excellent. They even went out of their way to have a little breakfast celebration for my 75th birthday. I am looking forward to my next visit to Mida de Sea.

Location very bad, in the middle of nowhere. 2 Bedroom Suite is actually 1 very small bedroom with only 1 queen size bed (Not even side table or wardrobe) and 1 king size bed at living room. Very basic breakfast.

The staff provided excellent service. I was very surprised that the staff could speak Japanese. Ms.Pingpong took great care of me. We were waiting for a taxi at 7-Eleven during the rain. We met her around the 7-Eleven, and I thought she was on her way home. We were stuck in the rain, and she went back to her car to selflessly give me her umbrella. We’ve already returned to Bangkok and didn’t get the chance to return the umbrella to her. I’m truly grateful. The room was clean. There was a bit of dust left, but it wasn’t a big deal. At least it was spacious and smelled nice.

This hotel was great for a great price! The location was easy to get to the beach and the staff were very kind and helpful. The room was well taken care of and had a beautiful view. I would stay again and will recommend it to friends! Thanks for a great experience!

Friendly staff. Great location. We were on the 5th floor with a view of the ocean. A little distance to the beach. 12 minutes drive to downtown. The swimming pool was nice and not crowded. Breakfast was good for the price.

The bed was not as comfortable. The bathroom water system was difficult to adjust between hot and cold showers.

The staff here is very kind and helpfull. they helped us with are luggage when we arrived and when we left. They clean our Room EVERY day, they Even fold our clothes. The rooms Are very Big and nice. The workout senter and pool area is also very nice. This has been the best hotel experience I have had. Love mida de sea hua hun.

Me and my friends had a great experience at mida de sea, very friendly and helpful staff. They accommodated for one of my friends deadly nut allergy with a specially made breakfast every morning. The hotel room was clean and spacious. There was a restaurant right at the hotel with delicious food and low prices. All around very satisfied with our stay.

This hotel is not far from the beach, and you can enjoy a sea view from your room. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. A golf cart service is available for transportation to the beach and the nearby 7-Eleven. The swimming pool is perfect for taking beautiful photos. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The hotel also offers a fitness center and a sauna. The staff are polite, professional, and very attentive. The breakfast buffet is diverse and delicious. If I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel. Big spacious bedroom and bathroom. Both shower and bath. Balcony overlooking the sea with a comfortable sofa. About 10 min walk to the sea but could also a small electrical buggy available. Free transport to town and back. Staff extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast plenty of choices. Pool narrow but long so easy to have a proper swim. Not a lot do outside of the hotel.

Utrolig lækkert hotel med dejlig ren pool. Værelserne er virkelig lækre. Det er dog et stort minus, at der ikke er sol nogen steder i poolen efter kl. 13. der er ej heller en solstol eller en lille plads i solen efter kl 13.

Nice an clean and cozy hotel. The staff is very friendly and respectful. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The pool was in the process of being cleaned, but it was not a problem as there were more than one pool. We loved having a fortnight here and our kids too.

The Hotel is located far from the city center, but they provide a shuttle service to the clock tower, which is very convenient. However, seating on the shuttle is limited, so it’s recommended to make a reservation. There is also a golf cart service that takes you to the beach, though the beach isn’t particularly special, but it's very peaceful. The service was excellent. Ms. Pingpong was very helpful and took great care of my family. On the other hand, the other staff members seemed uninterested in talking and avoided me. We booked without breakfast included, but it was fine because Ms. Pingpong helped me and consulted with her supervisor. We were offered a great deal—half-price breakfast—but we didn’t end up using it since we checked out early the next day. She also recommended a restaurant in the city center, for which I am really grateful as it made me nostalgic for the food from my hometown. The room was fairly clean, and the air conditioning was very cold, which I loved. My family and I will definitely come back because I live in Thailand.

Excellent rooms, amenities, and staff service! Ms Pingpong at the reception was very helpful in booking trains, buses, and taxis. Rooms were big and cozy. Breakfast spread was balanced and varied. The rooms were complete with balcony, kitchen, and large bathrooms. Great value!

Room was not clean. Actually we stayed two different rooms there and neither was clean. There was black hairs everywhere. I’m blonde myself so not mine.And also pool was not clean.

On their web-site they mentioned that they run shuttle to and from the town centre. Only when I asked about the schedule of the shuttle that I found that it was basically run on on-call basis. But when I tried to call the shuttle when I was at the town centre, I was told that it was fully booked. That made my plan of my trips in Hua Hin a bit chaotic.

Great location between Cha-Am and Hua Hin. Especially weekdays not to crowded and overall few western tourists. Very friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Unfortunally hotel is close to be up to a refurbishment. E.g. shower head loose, furniture partially run-down. Nonetheless, overall it‘s an absolute recommendation if you‘re looking for a nice and calm retreat close to the beach.

We had such a terrible experience that we left after the first night and forfeited the entire booking amount (which was for 4 nights). 1. The place doesn’t look it is advertised. It comes across as a shabby motel, with a bad a restaurant and a bad pool 2. We specifically warned the staff about my wife’s allergies and they sent food that made my wife quite sick. The food also tasted really bad 3. We booked a 3 bedroom hotel suite but the bedrooms were small and claustrophobic 4. The bathroom fittings were bad - the shower leaked all over the place 5. It was about 10 mins walk from the beach and there were no good shops or restaurants nearby I would advise against going to this place. It’s better to pay a few extra quids rather than destroy your entire holiday.

The staff was super friendly and always available. I had an injury while at the beach and the staff helped me immediately and supported me, at no extra cost. Moreover, the room I was given had a wonderful view, on the very last floor, it was spacious and very clean, at a budget price. Definitely value for money.

The gym space is quite old and feels moldy, I think they could refurbished it. The pool is relatively small. I am not sure there is anything else to dislike, everything else was perfect.

The hotel is off center thus will cost you approximate 400-500 bath each way. Even the hotel provide free shuttle to town but there are only 3 times a day. The room is dirty when checked in with item from previous guest left in the fridge. The room is nice but only in clean condition on the last day after my checked-in review is posted and the management read it. My recommendation is rather be consistent than reactive to guest's review. The nearby beach is not good for swimming. Lack of English seem to be the communication with staff. There seem to be only one front desk staff at the time who can serve you in English as the result the other seem to try to avoid you as much as they can. Facilities seem to be very limited, for example, only 1 toilet roll is provided for the room of 3 people per day, tissue box are not refilled, my son had sprained wrist and asked for an ice bag ended up to pay 70 baths for the bucket of ice. The hotplate provided in the room photo are non-functional and we were told that it is for decoration only. Overall unless the housekeeping standard is improving together with the quality of the facilities I would not recommend this hotel

The hotel is quite old. The hot water for shower is not consistence, getting cold and hot when taking shower. And my rooms shower part door is not fit and always make annoying sounds if we didn’t close very very slowly.

1. Operator called to my room at 1 am while we were deep sleep asking that whether I turned on TV because it interrupted the room next to me. Actually, all of my family went to bed at 10 pm, but she still asked my kids room. I thought hotel man has to come to investigate the TV noise in front of each neighbor room door instead of calling to every room. After ten minutes, I called back to operator telling her that it was not polite to wake up guests like this because I took one more hour trying to sleep again. 2. The cleaning crew came to clean my room at 6:00 pm while I have kept calling operator to clean 3 times.
