Lovely floating room with outdoor deck, loved sitting on the swing chair watching the boats go by. Bed was comfortable and had mosquito netting. Didn't see any insects given the rainy/windy weather but the shower area is not fully enclosed along the ceiling so there is potential for bugs. There were definitely mosquitoes on the riverbank, so use repellent before going for a walk! Food and massage was great.

Check the minibar when you enter - ours was missing 1 bottle of Evian water which we disputed on checking out as we had only used the complimentary water in the glass bottles, we were not charged. Also check private driver prices with other companies if you plan to go to Erawan Falls on the way back to Bangkok, the quote Floathouse gave us was much more expensive!

Fantastique. Le lieu est paradisiaque. Mon fils a adoré se baigner dans la rivière. tout était enchanteur. Nous serions bien resté une nuit de plus.

Locatie is fantastisch

Excursies zijn absurd duur, ontbijt prima, diner matig, koffie matig en het personeel aardig. Maar je merkt dat het van een grotere keten is. Er zit weinig liefde en aandacht in de service en het hele hotel.

The Float House ligt aan de rivier op een prachtige locatie. De huisjes zijn heel mooi en smaakvol ingericht. Het is echt een klein paradijsje. Ook fijn dat je fietsen kon lenen en gebruik kon maken van het zwembad van het Resotel. Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten. Mocht je uitstapjes willen maken, dan zou ik dat vanuit Kanchanaburi doen.

Het eten viel mij en mijn gezin erg tegen. Van onze rondreis tot nu toe staat deze echt onderaan ons lijstje en betaal je daar ook nog eens de hoofdprijs voor. Het personeel is wel super vriendelijk, daar ligt het zeker niet aan. Ben je er ook van bewust dat als je een massage boekt deze wordt gegeven aan het eind van de pier Je ziet dan alle blije en enthousiaste zwemmers voorbij komen. Dit biedt dan ook niet veel privacy en rust wat ik zelf bij een massage wel prettig vindt.

De locatie aan de rivier is echt fantastisch. Je kunt zo vanaf de vlonder de rivier in springen. De huisjes zijn ruim en comfortabel opgezet.

Restaurant wat duurder maar dat is niet gek. Activiteiten op de rivier spraken ons niet zo aan dus dan is 1 nacht verblijf voldoende.

Fantastische ligging, rustig en op wandelafstand van Mon dorp Ongelooflijk lekkere keuken!! Half pensioen is een must. Zeer lekkere cocktails ook! Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

We genoten van een mooie kamer met een schitterend uitzicht op de rivier. Op de rivier kan je ook heerlijk afdrijven, een erg leuke activiteit. Zowel het ontbijt als het restaurant waren uitstekend.

Dit is een erg mooi en goed onderhouden hotel. De bedden lagen heerlijk en het muggennet zorgde ervoor dat je geen last had van de insecten. Ook is het erg leuk om de rivier af te drijven.

De ligging is werkelijk prachtig.

Staff was superb. Friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Just a wonderful experience. We went with the half board that included dinner, the set menus were great, but way too much food. Next time we will go à la carte, and we are going back.

Our trip was too short. Otherwise, there was nothing to unlike.

Everything. Oh my goodness we loved our 2 nights here. I wish we had have made it 3 nights. From the beautiful floating rooms, delicious food, amazingly friendly and wonderful staff, to all the activities- tree zip lining, cave exploring , gorgeous souvenir shop next door, floating down the river and massages to end the day. Just dreamy. We will have to come back as there was still so much to do - the waterfall, the museum. We loved it. Thank you.

Such a beautiful place! Everything is built on pontoons and connected by walkways. In the centre is reception and a restaurant with bungalows stretching out on either side along the riverbank. Everything is done to a high standard, the room was beautiful and had its own porch and deck onto the riverbank. Air conditioning made our room an escape in the heat. Wifi was good making access to your Netflix, Prime, YouTube and email accounts possible. You can swim in the river or walk 500 metres to a sister hotels pool. The food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is also plenty to do, massages, boat trips, tours and cooking classes all available. I recommend this stay, we left feeling reinvigorated and serene after the craziness of Bangkok. Stayed for 2 nights, wish we’d booked longer, an experience not to be missed

Live your dreams! Dit was er een. Wat een fantastisch verblijf. Erg mooi, rustig en je hoeft alleen maar te genieten. Wel moet je je vertier zelf zoeken. Het restaurant sluit al om 10 uur en dan is er ook helemaal niets meer te doen. Een boek op de veranda rest. Ook wel eens lekker.

Ik vond het eten wat minder intens van smaak dan dat ik daarvoor in Thailand heb gehad. Maar dat is smaak.

Tolle Zimmer in außergewöhnlicher Lage, direkt auf dem Fluss. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet - mit für ein Hotel dieser Qualität moderaten Preisen.

Das Frühstück war nicht außergewöhnlich, aber völlig zufriedenstellend.

Beautiful unique hotel on the river. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. Dinner was lovely and special thanks to Au, one of the waiters who was so friendly.

Clear instructions or information not given that the resort is 100m downhill from the parking spot in case someone chooses to park there. The walk through the stairs was difficult for aged people.

Wow , ruddy amazing , if you are thinking of booking , do it .. we did dinner b&b which was great. btw you can use facilities of sister hotel including swimming pool.

De unieke locatie, met de longboat naar de huisjes. Verblijf was fantastische ervaring.

It was incredible. From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well. Our room was perfect, so large and luxurious. The bed was huge and so comfy. The decking outside our room was just amazing and we would sit out and watch the boats go past. The indoor outdoor shower was lovely. The massages were to die for. The food was delicious and we jumped off the pontoon and into the river.

Bugs but this can’t be helped and we expected it due to the location. But this wouldn’t put us off staying again and there were nets.

Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen. Super nettes Personal. Sicher ein Highlight unserer Reise. Wir haben einen Ausflug gemacht zu den Hot Springs (15 heiße Quellen) und wurden dort mit Boot hingebracht und wieder abgeholt. Es passte einfach alles.

property is very well designed. Views are amazing - The cliffs and the river itself. Food was great and prices were very fair. The staff were very attentive with helping me to book activities. The inland premises are gorgeous for a stroll as well - You can rent a bike (included) and go ride to a fruit garden, forest roads, and Lawa Cave. Outdoor shower was very nice and comfy, and was super fitting for the room's vibe. Staff really were amazing and accommodating - Caring for every need, interested if booked activities were good, and helping me schedule the boat transfer logistics in & out of the resort

Not didn't like as much as it's obvious - But given it's a floating villa on a river, insects were aplenty - Especially after it rained. That said, the bed has a bug net around it - But they still roam the room. As mentioned before - Boat traffic slowly tugs the room - Not the main space as much, but the toilet attached & balcony swerved a bit more. Nothign drastic but noticeable. Had a slight misunderstanding when a certain minibar item went missing during cleaning, so upon returning & finding out I explicitly let the staff know so I won't be charged and they assured me it's all fine - But then that very same item appeared on the final bill. Was a bit unpleasant, but ended up settling for the best.

La floating house était très charmante et confortable. Le service est très bien et la cuisine est très bonne. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Le lieu est propre est accueillant. Les activités proposés sont bien organisées et qualitatives mais le prix est élevé.

La floating a des fenêtres sous le toit pour lesquels il n’y a pas de rideaux, on est donc réveillé tôt si on est sensible à la lumière. Les bateaux qui passent dès 4 du matin sont bruyants. L’hôtel est loin de tout et nous sommes un peu dépendant des services de l’hôtel qui sont à des tarifs très élevés. Les prix du restaurant sont également élevés.

Superbe hôtel avec un personnel aux petits soins, un cadre magique, des bungalows très beaux, confortables et bien équipés. Très bon restaurant et très bons massages.

Het vakantiegevoel begint al bij de pier. De boottocht naar het verblijf is prachtig en eenmaal aangekomen kom je terecht in een oase van rust. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, de vlonders hebben uitzicht op de mooie natuur. (Ook de nabijgelegen lawa cave is een aanrader!!). Perfect om een paar dagen tot rust te komen en volledig te onthaasten. De massages op locatie waren hiervoor perfect. De inbegrepen dinner-menus en het ontbijt waren zeer compleet en gevarieerd!

Hoewel de omgeving prachtig is, worden de kamers wel vroeg licht. Uitslapen zit er niet in dus ;). (Is overigens geen straf).

A very special stay on the River Kwai.. the rooms were lovely, bed comfortable, stunning scenery and had such fun jumping in the river! Being able to cycle to the sister hotel to use their pool was a bonus. Also had some of the best food we had for the whole of our stay

The price of some of the trips were expensive, but we arranged through an alternative driver to visit Erawan falls so didn’t affect us.

Wunderbare Lage am bzw. im Fluß. Ein tatsächlich schwimmendes Hotel mit großen Einheiten samt Terrasse zum Fluß. Beste Aussicht, auch vom Restaurant aus, das erstklassiges Essen serviert. Überraschenderweise gibt es in den romantisch ausgestatteten Zimmern sogar AC - hätte ich nicht erwartet.

Das Hotel liegt naturgemäß abseits, ist mit dem Auto zwar erreichbar, wird aber zumeist mit longtail-boats vom zentralen Pier aus bedient. Daher ist eine gewisse Gelenkigkeit von Vorteil. Die Anlegestellen sind nämlich beiderseits so gar nicht für ältere Europäer ausgestattet. Das freundliche Personal schafft zwar jeden ins und aus dem Boot, aber manchmal wirkt's etwas peinlich.

Prachtig aangelegd resort op de rivier. Huisjes zagen er top uit. Personeel was erg vriendelijk.

La villa n’a qu’un lit double et un lit simple, nous avions fait une réservation pour 4 personnes ( 2 adultes et 2 enfants)… trop juste au niveau des lits pour nous tous…

The breakfast was ok but not up to the same standard as lunch and dinner offerings. As is the norm in many thai hotels, the sausages and ham were poor quality and sitting in water which looked very unappealing

Fantastic for a relaxing getaway. The rooms had everything we needed, clean, comfortable and loveley decorated in a traditional Thai style. Waking up to sit and see the early morning mist over the river was something I'll remember for a long time. On top of all this was the staff, the customer service was 5 stars, everyone friendly and attending every need with a smile making every customer feel special.

Loved every moment there.

The Float House was just fabulous from start to end. The staff were all fantastic, went above and beyond. The room was huge, the beds super comfy. The view is breathtaking. Room Air-Con on was great. Food and drink were excellent and reasonable priced for the middle of nowhere. The set menu each night changed and there was a veggie menu. The trips on offer, were well throughout, and we thought a little at first but were excellent value. There were alsp large mosi nets for the beds.

That we should have stayed at least one night longer!

I know it’s a river but there was a constant run of long tail boats ferrying luggage and tourists up and down the river causing the room and it’s seating area outside to violently rock around from the wash so impossible to relax

Beautiful unique property that you just can’t beleive until you are there.. we were so relaxed! The villas rock just slightly and you can sit in the deck and feel like you are away from the whole world

Das Frühstück war ziemlich eintönig. Jeweils drei Sorten Gemüse und Obst. Beim Brot gab es zwei verschiedene Sorten an Toastbrot. Eier wurden in verschiedenen Variationen frisch vorbereitet. Nach zwei Tagen hat man sich sattgesehen. Beim Abendessen hätten wir uns mehr thailändische Vielfalt gewünscht.

I loved everything about The Floathouse. My sister experienced delays arriving in Thailand due to weather and they let us move our stay to the next night. That was very much appreciated. It was so comfortable and a fun experience. We walked over to the sister property and used the pool then took the boat back and saw monkeys along the way. Very relaxing stay. One night is not enough. Next time I will stay 2 to 3 nights.

Zeer ruime kamers 89m2 groot, heerlijk terras waar je een schitterend uitzicht hebt over de River Kwai. Ontbijt en diner gewoon goed en voor een cocktail in de middag TOP Je kan hier uitstekend tot rust komen.

Pessima la cena per chi vi soggiorna con un menù fisso senza particolari pretese ma , visto il costo elevatissimo del soggiorno rispetto agli standard thailandesi , sicuramente ci si deve aspettare di più e con una maggiore cura verso il cliente !!
