In a word…amazing. Got some of the best sleep of the trip here. Very kind and generous staff, delicious food, and stunning surroundings. Make sure to walk the short distance to the waterfall and take a dip.

I really liked the place. It feels like in the movies about jungles. The place is good, stuff is amazing and I feel grateful to the team, they really care about guests. Room was good, with everything needed, the breakfast has a lot of different options, so we liked it. Also, they have a lot of options of activities, like tour to national park, or boat trip on the river, etc.

The museum feels a bit abandoned, would be good if photos could be updated there.

We loved the remote feel to this hotel. Surrounded by lush vegetation and fantastic views. Saw water monitor lizards a d many butterflies. Great range of activities for older children who enjoyed the tree top zip lines, free kayaks and d pedal boats. The pool and hot springs were a highlight. Also nearby walk to Mon village. Near to hellfire pass. Helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings.

Some of the dishes were far too spicy in the restaurant even though we asked for a little spice. We couldn’t eat two of the dishes as far too hot. If you do order food and do not like spice ask for no spice. A few other customers also commented on this during our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A hotel with large beautifully kept ground. The pool and hot springs were amazing. The highlight was seeing monitor lizards swimming in the lake and being in the hot spring at night surrounded by lush vegetation. Clean rooms with air con and fan. The staff should be praised for their upkeep of the grounds. The children enjoyed the kayaking and pedals which were free to use. They also had great fun on the zip line. Nice walk to the Mon village and floating hotel. We would come back.

Je merkt dat het personeel niet meer met liefde en toewijding in het park werkt. Ze hadden niet de Thaise gastvrijheid welke wij gewend waren in Thailand. Ze spraken en begrepen ook slecht Engels. Hierdoor was onze ontbijtbox niet gereed toen wij vroeg moesten vertrekken. Het eten in de accommodatie is ook niet aan te raden.

Very comfortable stay in the mountains. Easy to find and great parking at property available. Lots of room in the bedroom and there was room service everyday If you wanted. Activities included, we enjoyed the kayak. Peaceful location, some mosquitos in the room however it can only be prevented so much. The umbrellas were very helpful. Great breakfast selection .

Hot water wasn't always available and water pressure wasn't the best however it's understandable for location.

Lovely rooms and very comfortable beds in a beautiful setting. Lovely breakfast and the staff were kind. This was a relaxing change of pace after 4 days in Bangkok. The hotsprings is soooo lovely and relaxing. Tree top adventure was great even in the rain.

The decking around the pool area needs updating, its old and very slippery and nore loungers are needed in better repair also you could not always get towels. You need to stock up on snacks and drinks before you come here, as it is so far from anywhere. The Restaurant service is a little slow but the food is fine.

Breakfast could have been better. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't call it good either. Low to medium average.

De plek van ons appartement met de hotspring. Echt rust en uitzicht op de rivier en jungle met vlinders en vogels. Kamer fijn met balkon. Prima ontbijt en avondeten. Mooi terras. Grappig dat je gratis kan waterfietsen, treetop met tokkelen, zwembad. Uitzicht op de rivier.

Het resort ligt erg geïsoleerd. Daardoor bleven wij vooral daar. Maar bij langer verblijf kan je naar het olifanten opvang eiland, boottochtje of vlot ondernemen. Zwembad vrij vol met veel gasten. Wel vrij aan de prijs voor Thaise begrippen.

Отель не расчитан на постоянных жителей, он расчитан на группы которые заезжают и уезжают каждый день в связи с этим странное обслуживание в ресторане, шейки в ресторане днем не купить, тк льда нет, еда на завтрак однообразная, но вкусная. Это единственный минус но если вы останавливаетесь так же как и мы не ра одну ночь.

Prachtig in de natuur

Het restaurant was redelijk tot goed.

Het is een prachtig groen resort, iets van de weg af waardoor je weinig hoort. De olifanten zitten aan de andere kant van de rivier en Hellfire pass is 10 minuten rijden.

De accommodatie is heel fijn om even op adem te komen na bijvoorbeeld een aantal drukke dagen (Bangkok). Het zwembad met aansluitend de hot pool is enorm fijn en echt heel relaxed. De Tree Top Adventure is leuk om te doen. Het park heeft veel ruimte en je waant je midden in de jungle. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam met alle vragen die je hebt. Bereid je voor op veel muggen.

De prijs voor zowel activiteiten als deze accommodatie is aan de hoge kant in vergelijking met andere resorts in Thailand. Het eten was niet zo goed: we kregen bijvoorbeeld rauwe sperzieboontjes bij een gerecht en vonden het buffet kwalitatief niet zo top. De airco in onze accommodatie lekte waardoor we een (natte) handdoek op de grond hadden liggen. De huisjes zijn heel gehorig en wij hadden helaas rumoerige Franse buren…

Prachtige omgeving waar veel te doen is. Zwembad is heerlijk met het warmwaterbad. Veel te doen in de omgeving.

Prachtige tuin! En mooi resort. Mooi zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op de jungle. Erg fijn restaurant met ook weer heel mooi uitzicht over de rivier, en goed eten bovendien. Treetop adventure was heel leuk om te doen.

Le cadre était magnifique pleins de lieux paisible où profiter pour ce ressourcer . Nous avions un appartement avec 2 chambres idéal pour notre famille. Les piscines sont très agréables

La qualité des repas est à revoir d’autant qu il n’y a pas trop d’alternatives dans le coin. Par contre très choqué d’avoir été volé dans nos chambres tout notre argent liquide disparu. L’argent était rangé dans nos sacs à different endroits donc un conseil servez vous du coffre.

Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur la rivière, vue incroyable… j’en ai pleuré d’émotion… en pleine forêt avec tout les équipements nécessaires pour se sentir bien. Beaucoup d’activités sont proposées pour découvrir la région. Et le personnel est adorable !

Le restaurant, nous aurions aimé une qualité supérieure mais cela reste correct.

The property is surrounded by nature and is truly a peaceful oasis. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The pools are amazing, offering breathtaking views, and the water temperature is perfect. The private onsen is also a lovely experience. The bed is very comfortable, and overall we had a wonderful stay. A special mention goes to the kind gentleman who freshly prepares the eggs every morning—they were absolutely delicious!

The breakfast was the only disappointing part of our stay. We noticed ants and other insects on the jams and several other items at the buffet, despite the food being covered. In addition, the bread and pastries didn’t seem fresh—they tasted dry and chewy, which made us think they may have been left over from previous mornings. Although there was an option to warm them up, it didn’t really improve their texture.

Prachtig Hotel. Tweede keer geboekt. Hotspring, zwembad maar door de afgelegen ligging in het woud zitter en wel wat muggen en hier en daar een mooi diertje dat komt kijken in de kamer. Dat hoort bij de charme van de natuur. Verder alles heel proper en natuurlijk. De eigen activiteiten zijn zeker heel tof opgevat. Vergeet zeker geen kijkje te nemen in het plaatselijke eigen museum. Dat Heeft wat maatregelen nodig om alles te kunnen behouden op termijn maar is indrukwekkend en aangrijpend.

Niet echt een aanbod van taxi of ideeën om de buurt te verkennen. En er is zo veel te zien in de omgeving. krasae cave, Erawan watervallen,… en vlakbij de Hellfire kloof.

The property is in a perfect location along the river surrounded by lush greenery. The views from the restaurant and Onsen Riverview Villas makes a person feel as if they have stepped back into a less stressful time. The swimming pool and hot springs offer a perfect place to relax and unwind. The walk through the jungle to the Mon Village and river is well worth the effort. The gardens are well maintained. The restaurant offers delicious food and the staff are very attentive. The museum is also a must see.

Communicatie met personeel, lastig engels

We booked a villa with the outside hot tub with natural mineral water, the villa was good and the hot tub was good. The staff are very good and respectful.

we were advised that at 1600hrs and 0700hrs a man will come and refill/change the water in the tub. we had to ask for that to happen on the first afternoon, we called reception at approx 1730 hrs . on day 2 by mid afternoon our room had not been serviced, we had to ask for that as well, they did respond quickly. The Weary Dunlop memorial and display is well presented but is definitely showing its age and lack of maintenance and care. Light bulbs were not working and humidity in the building is getting to all the displays. This is a private memorial by the resort owners (not government sponsored) Sir Dunlops ashes (some of them) were spread in the River KWAI in this location as the resort founder was a close friend.

Lovely grounds, well maintained and looked after. Comfortable rooms. Treetops great for kids. Museum on war very interesting for adults. Loved the use of filtered water bottle reducing plastic waste.

Average restaurant..no fresh juice at breakfast. Lots of processed foods at breakfast, not the quality expected for the room price. The restaurant food was hit and miss, some dishes were very poor and prices were on the high side, other dishes were very good. Day trips and river activities massively overpriced - we went elsewhere for these for much less money.

The resort is well located on the River Kwai Noi in a very peaceful part of Thailand. The WWII history sites are nearby. The onsen villa was excellent. The other facilities around the resort (hotspring pool, walking trails, restaurant, etc) were great!

Occasionally the staff used noisy motorbikes to get around the resort.

Amazing pool view. You feel like in a private island. Staff were nice.

Food variety could be improved. Water purity to be improved.

We like the Swimming-Pool with the hot Onsen. Breakfast-Buffet was good and enough. The Garden was nice. All in one it was good for relaxing.

To much Mosquitos in the Garden and in the Bathroom.

I love the room here, very spacious, unique. We enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. Beautiful place for couples.

The pool is actually deep, 1m6 at the lowest point. Kid pool is very dirty and away from the adult pool and the hot springs pool. No safe guard on pool and lake. Not the place for kids.

We arrived here after a less than comfortable (but very special!) stay on a nearby jungle raft and could really appreciate the upgrade to something comfortable, beautiful and air-conditioned. The resort looks fantastic, with beautiful landscaping, rooms in small buildings and a spectacular view over the river. There’s a large pool, flanked by hot springs, a pond with canoes, a zipline and open air reception area and dining. Staff were friendly, food was great, rooms were comfortable. Loved it!

The resort itself was very nice, peaceful and relaxing, the staff were helpful and food was good and reasonable, the pool was good and hot spa pools were good too. The tree top Zip line looked ace for the younger people. Would visit again.

Warning, regarding swimming in the river trip. My advice dont.Without any exageration I'm lucky I survived. I believe the resort totally got this wrong, how I dont know, but it was a total disaster. Booked the trip, which was supposed to be take you down river swap to another boat, which I thought would be with others, but at last minute they said was a problem and had to move time, which we couldnt do as had something else planned, so they said it was ok and would adjust slightly, which we agreed. Then took us Jetty and a young guy took down river put us on a jetty and moved boat to middle of river and said get in. The current was very strong and immediatley took me. Cut a long story short my wife didn't get in thankfully. I got taken down stream so far I couldnt even see the boat or my wife, the current pushed me to the rock face and I couldn't swim against the strong current, the lad in the boat had made my wife get back in the boat and had arrived by now, but had no rope, life ring or anything to throw me, my wife litrrrally screaming help him. I luckily used all my strenght to swim to the boat. But by now had no strength left to pull myself in to the boat and the lad pulled me in. Did have a life jacket, but it wasnt fitted correctly and was rising up my neck. Like I said don't.

Sehr abgelegen, das muss man mögen. Für uns war es genau das richtige. 3-4 Tage sind absolut ausreichend. Wir empfehlen eine Villa mit Flusssicht. Mehr Privatsphäre. Die anderen Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig wurde uns gesagt. Die Villa jedoch hat einen guten Abstand zur direkten Nachbarschaft.

Absolute fantastic resort! We stayed three nights and loved every minute. Could have stayed longer. The layout of the resort is so nice with a great view of the river. So relaxing and tranquil. Loved the pool and hotspring. Activities on sight and close by which was nice with kids. Very clean - staff constantly keeping grounds nice. Good restaurant with attentive service. Did a trip to Hellsfire (close by) - one of the best and most professional historic museums we have been to even compared to Europe and USA.

Eigenlijk niets. Jammer dat het domein niet bereikbaar is met een grap of bolt. Vanaf de Hellfire Pass, welke kortbij was vonden we niets van vervoer. Gelukkig was het hotelpersoneel zo vriendelijk ons een lift te geven.

Mooi, ruim en sfeervol huisje. De locatie is afgelegen en rustig met mooi uitzicht op de rivier. Het eten was goed. De tuin is mooi groen en netjes onderhouden.

Het prive buitenbad bij het huisje was te heet om gebruik van te maken. Het koude water wat toegevoegd kon worden was ook warm. We hebben meerdere keren gevraagd om hier aanpassingen in te doen maar dit is niet gelukt. Het zou fijn zijn om zelf de mogelijkheid in temperatuur te regelen.

Wir hatten Onsen Villa #6: Schöne Villa, gutes Bett, sehr ruhige Lage. Tolle Terrasse mit eigenem Onsen und Blick auf den Fluss. Regenwaldgeräusche inklusive. Ich würde immer wieder die Onsen Villa buchen, das war schon sehr besonders. Schöne naturnahe Anlage mit Pool und auch schöner Terrasse für Frühstück/ Drinks/ Abendessen. Eher zufällig haben wir herausgefunden, dass man im Schwersterresort (Floating) tolle Massagen bekommt - einen ganz wunderbaren Fußweg durch den Bambusdschungel entfernt.

Frühstücksauswahl war nicht ganz so üppig wie in den anderen Hotels auf unserer Reise, aber von Obst über Toast zu asiatischen Gerichten gab es alles. Restaurant: geschmacklich gut (nicht überragend), ein wenig mehr Auswahl wäre schön. Ohne Auto kommt man kaum weg. Die hoteleigenen Fahrer sind völlig überteuert und ein Bolt/ Grab kommt oft gar nicht ins Resort. Man ist bzgl. Abendessen auf das Restaurant angewiesen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war manchmal etwas überfordert mit unseren (Standard) Fragen. Mehr Liegen am Pool wären gut. Die Info mit den Massagen waren nicht sehr transparent, da könnte das Hotel gerne etwas mehr Werbung machen. Wie so oft: kaum Möglichkeit, seine Kleidung ausserhalb des Koffers zu verstauen. Das Wasser in der Dusche war manchmal etwas zu heiß, aufgrund des Thermalwassers.

Location. If you like being by the river in a remote location it is perfect. It was too remote and quiet for me.

So nice, but difficult to go out. If you need to stay here inside, that would be paradise.

Интересный отель на реке Квай. Останавливались на одну ночь, понравилось само место, атмосфера живых джунглей, горячие источники заслуживают отдельных слов - насладились, зиплайн порадовал детей, покатались на байдарках на озере в отеле, завтрак полноценный, ужин - тайская кухня представлена достойно.
