La struttura è fantastica e il personale straordinariamente gentile.

El staff era super amable, atento, lo facilitaron todo. La ubicacion estaba muy genial, las vistas son inmejorables.

Nos parecio que el suelo de la habitacion podia estar mas limpio. La habitacion estaba bien pero le faltaba un poco de mantenimiento (algo de oxido en la base de la bañera, etc) por el precio que pagamos podria ser mejor.

Excellent breakfast spread. Amazing location overlooking a very clean Ashtamudi lake. The complimentary House Boat ride and the short cultural shows in the evening came as a bonus.

Here’s the review with a few added lines before the closing summary: We had a wonderful family stay at Leela Ashtamudi in Kollam, Kerala, earlier this month. To beat traffic, we decided to take the Vande Bharat train. The hotel had provided a station pickup, and it’s just 10 minutes away from the station. It’s located on the banks of the Ashtamudi river — a very nice location. We were warmly welcomed by their staff. It’s an old building but with modern looks and amenities, which made it a perfect stay. Rooms come with a small balcony, which added extra views during the rainy season. We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant, and the food was delicious. I’d like to mention the staff: Ajesh, for remembering our vegan tofu and dessert Vibin, for excellent service Karthik and Liji, for housekeeping In the evening, we had a boat ride on the river. The property is calm and peaceful, perfect for unwinding with family. Overall, a fantastic stay with family.

Buffet at Restaurant didn’t meet our expectations.

Great views, staff and facilities. The place was also not overcrowded which made it a super relaxing stay.

The only thing I would say is that we kept being asked whether things were ok by various staff which really was not needed. I would suggest being asked in the end.

Cleanliness is a problem. Also 3 of us from the 6 party got food poisoning. One of us had to be admitted to the hospital over night. We come to Leela once a year. This will be the last time.

While my stay at Raviz had its positives, I must mention that the washroom felt quite small and congested. Given my difficulty in walking, the absence of a proper shower space and the presence of only a bathtub made it particularly inconvenient. However, this was greatly offset by the polite and smiling attitude of Jeevan, Sanana and the other staff on duty that day. Their warmth and support truly stood out.
