Didn’t really like it at all..

The room wasn’t very clean so we ended up leaving. The baby portacot supplied was absolutely disgusting. Very disappointed in the lack of maintenance with chipped walls, stained carpets, burns on kitchen bench, dirty oven.. Was also no parking so had to park across the street.

Excellent location, large room with both a table and desk.

I sent an email 2 weeks prior to my visit to book a car park, I got a response saying that that would be no problem and I would have a car park. When I arrived, I got told there were actually no car parks available despite emailing ahead prior and being told I would have one. I ended up having to carry all of my luggage and work gear alot further then I would have liked which is not easy after 3 knee surgeries and spending over $200 on parking

Have stayed her a few times now and the customer service is very mediocre. Can only check in up to 4pm. Made arrangements to check in late but continued to get phone calls and emails asking us to check by 4pm which was agreed that we would not be able to do with agreed late check in arrangements. Also booked a carpark, which when we arrived there was no carpark available and the car stacker couldn't be operated and we had to stand outside trying to talk to someone in auckland who know nothing about how it operated for over 45 minutes. It's just exhausting and too hard.

Great location. Always have high praise for any Quest accommodation. They have this standard that always keeps me coming back. Loved our stay. Staff were awesome and always accommodating. Love that having a washer and dryer is in every room! Helps a lot to have one. Close to mall, places to eat & nice massage parlour about 2min walk. Parking can be paid if parking across the road. LOVED THE SHOWER PRODUCTS!! ❤️ Bonus.

Shower door was a bit hard to stay closed so floor got wet all the time.

Love the high ceilings- feels like one of those older ponsonby stays in the older hotels - mix of charm and comfort

It was lovely arriving to a deliciously warmed up room on an icy cold winter's night (thanks to staff switching on the heating) and I felt my room suite was spacious and comfortable. It was also lovely having a small kitchen with the basics and in general 'my' own private little apartment I could retire to when cold and tired.

There was a smell in the bathroom when the fan wasn't on. I'd say no windows and unclean, partially blocked drains are the main cause. After a shower on the second day, I noticed some soapy suds piling up on the floor beside the floor drain. The drains need cleaning. Overall, it didn't make me feel the facilities were poor - just could be improved!

lt was well located with respect to where we were working at and the shops nearby. The staf was really pleasant and really went out of their way to help me with what I needed and a few hints about the place and surrounding area.

Parking was not the best. Had to keep moving the car to avoid any penalties.

Great location to be able to walk to entertainment, shops, restaurants, river, etc. Our room was spacious and clean. Bed wasn’t too bad, and TV had chrome cast which was great. Shower had great pressure.

Parking is tight - especially for anything above a hatchback. $20 a night plus an addition $15 per charge for EV charging.

We were given an apartment without windows which was very frustrating. Lucky we stayed there only one night.

Location was good. Nice and central to the city. The building seems to be and old office block turned into a hotel

Very noisey and with a band playing either next door and in the cafe below it made getting to sleep difficult. If wanting parking you will need to advise before hand otherwise you will be parking on the street.

When we checked in the hotel had no electricity and the staff weren’t helpful to sort the problem. We requested a full refund as we weren’t receiving the service we booked.. took over a week for them to follow up with us and a further few days for the refund to be processed.

Easy check in tidy room

STAFF CHANGED OUR ROOM AFTER THE FIRST WAS UNACCEPTABLY NOISY FROM THE VENTILATION.

MISLEADING 'BREAKFAST' IT WAS A 'BREAKFAST PACK' IN THE FRIDGE LIKE A CHILDS PLAY LUNCH FOR SCHOOL. CHAIRS WERE DANGEROUS - WOOD SHRINKAGE CAUSED THE JOINTS TO BE LOOSE THUS DANGEROUS TO SIT ON. THE BATHROOM LIGHTS & NONE OF THE KITCHEN APPLIANCES WORKED ON DEPARTURE MORNING. PAID FOR PARKING THEN HAD TO WAIT FOR A MAN TO PACK & LEAVE BEFORE WE COULD ACCESS OUR CAR. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

spacious appartment, good handover of keys in spite of it being "after hours"

It was a bit further away from the main restaurants for dinner than I thought it would be - but still within walking distance. We didn't make it clear on booking that we needed a car park - and that was a bit of an issue - but it was quickly resolved.

Clean, room as advertised. Easy check-in.

Didn’t feel clean. Carpet felt tacky and curtains were stained. And there was a smell in room

Outdated and rough condition. Fridge made noise all night. Bed was very uncomfortable and could feel the springs, pillows were worn out and lumpy.

The beds I think it was 2 singles put together it was comfortable but was just a bump/hard part in the middle of the bed

No vent in the bathroom, so when using the tumble dryer was in use, which took a longtime, the bathroom got very steamy and damp.

I couldn’t park in the arranged parking as my car was too big. There was no where that stipulated you needed a small car to fit the car parks. I had to park my car in the Wilson car park across the street which is fine but it’s not secure. The bed was very hard and h comfortable. It was very loud as the windows are super old it let a lot of noise in

The room was perfect. Reception staff were excellent.

I thought everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Having a little kitchenette and washing machine and dryer is lovely as well, especially for those with children.

The property was ok apart from a funny smell between the lift and the room. The thing I was not happy about was that I phoned on 8 March at 12:50 and spoke to a lady to book parking. No parking was booked for us so had to make another plan which was inconvenient as I am pregnant as well…

Leaving

I had booked months in advance for a 1 bedroom apartment for my husband,Son and I. When we arrived to check in we were assigned a very basic studio apartment and at no point did the women booking us in communicate this to us. The hotels intention was to charge us for a 1 bedroom apartment but put us in a studio. When I went to ask about this at reception, the only compensation reception could offer was to Knock off $45 and if we had found alternate accomodation that night they would cancel our booking for free- what a joke! I wasn’t happy that what was being suggested was to inconvenience my husband and child. To make matters worse the room we were given smelt of smoke and a previous customer had left a plastic cover over the smoke detector. Never again! Do not book here.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was nice. The shower is perfect. There is everything you could want.

We, had a late check in (only by 20mins) and had to use an intercom at the door which took a while...I'm not really complaining, we were the ones that were late, but we had terrible trip (road works) along the way, and were running late for an event, and this intercom nearly "put me over the edge" :) We were tucked away in a back room with very little natural light.

Location is fine

Beds were really uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattresses. The toilet seat was loose and kept moving and the shower gel dispenser was broken so was difficult to get to work. Whatever was outside of our room, was lit up all night so even with the curtains closed, it felt like daytime outside. Very confusing when you wake up at 02:30!

Spacious room with small kitchen, washing machine and centrally located.

It is dated, grubby, expensive and underwhelming staff. Booked in and bank debit immediately, couldn’t get a receipt until I demanded a copy the next day, could only email me, would not print me a copy. Charged $25 a day parking for a vehicle stacked under cover. Reception opened at 7am but no one attended reception until 7:30am, asked car to be ready at 8:15am, arrived to pick up car and vehicle was still in stacker, receptionist too busy eating his breakfast. Next day we returned the car and was told that reception didn’t have skill to park car in stacker and we need to do ourselves! Told them this was not our responsibility. No soap in shower dispenser, told they we’re having problems with suppler. Room service made up room and left old towels on floor in bathroom. Homeless person living in carpark next to our apartment window. All this for NZ$500 for two nights. We are on NZ two week road trip and after 4 accomodations this is the worst.

Lovely spacious suite. Very comfortable bed. Good bathroom with essential toiletries but no more. Laundry was a great surprise and much appreciated. Great blackout curtains. Plenty of power points and good lighting. Dining spot and a small desk too. Comfy armchair. Easy wifi. Wonderful atrium lounge area on the floor with big armchairs. That would be so nice sipping wine by the fireplace with friends in winter.

Views were ordinary with high windows and when I did look out it was to see a bloke peeing against the wall. No coffee maker. Only tiny milk things. Unable to cast from devices to TV.

It was spacious and clean.

The decorated was a but tired and the soap dispenser not working and held together with tape. One of the light switches seemed a bit dodgy.

Convenient location within walking distance of the inter city bus terminal. Well appointed with a comfortable bed.

Not much drawer or shelf space if you are staying for a few days
