I chose this because of the gym facilities and it was great. Room was spacious, nice bathroom and nice gym.

Nearby do not have much food options.

I've never stayed anywhere where the people went out of their way to be so accomodating.

The good things: 1- Check in and check out, both smooth and fast, as always. Great! 2- Staff is always friendly, helpfull and professional; 3- Rooms are big, beds are big and confortable, linen is top; 5- Bathroom is big, walking shower is good, water pressure is great, toileteries are good and enough. The bad things: 1- Some products at breakfast were not great (juices were too sweet, ham was dry and soup was cold), though the eggs were very good and the hot drinks machine had a great selection; 2- The main problem was the nose from the shower water falling the drain: it was so loud and for so long that was impossible to sleep for a long time.

😌The London Inn restaurant and bar has lovely, friendly waitstaff and bartenders who provide excellent service. Everyone was wonderful; I was very impressed, especially with Nan & Aon. 👍🏻

The best hotel in Khon Kaen, situated in good location. Excellent for rooms, services, breakfast and variety of outlets to enjoy.

Overall, the rooms, service, food, cleanliness, architectural beauty, and price were excellent. However, I didn't have the opportunity to use other hotel services because my stay was short and I was out working all day. One additional suggestion is that I would like the rooms to have bathrobes or pyjamas like other hotels do.

The food needs to be improved. Breakfast was particularly challenging for me, as the selection, taste, and overall quality did not meet my expectations.

I always choose to stay at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre whenever I visit Khon Kaen because I know I can count on the excellent service and comfortable accommodations. The front desk staff are always warm, professional, and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth every time. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job keeping the rooms spotless, and the restaurant staff are attentive and friendly, creating a wonderful dining experience. One of the things I really appreciate is the complimentary airport shuttle service, which makes traveling so much more convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The breakfast buffet is another highlight, offering an impressive variety of both Thai and international dishes, with something for everyone. Overall, Avani Khon Kaen consistently delivers excellent service and great value. It truly feels like my home away from home whenever I’m in Khon Kaen, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Avani has introduced me to the real Thai hospitality. I would love to get back there for sure whenever I am in Khon Kaen.

Stayed in Jr Suite. Spacious and comfortable. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff performance excellent. Only negative was hot water to shower not always hot. Whirlpool tub always had hot water.

warm welcome from staffs, quickly chk-in/out process, good facilities but bad sound proofing, I stay at 4 floor pool view but the sound was very loud from the pool and door shutting sound weak me up in the morning.

The hotel is quite good—both in terms of cleanliness, service, hospitality, and a great location. I used their meeting services recently and stayed there to visit clients in Khon Kaen throughout the week. I found the service excellent, the breakfast very good, and the cleanliness of the stay quite high. They regularly replenished amenities in the room. Additionally, I found the reception’s recommendations and the check-in/check-out process quite fast. One thing I would like to mention is that I would love for them to offer vegetarian or plant-based menu options, and also drinks where I can add almond milk or healthy sweeteners like stevia. If the hotel adds that, it would be absolutely perfect!

Usually stay at Avani by choice when in KK, this trip we tried the Sky View room upgrade with lounge access. Great value IMHO when you check in you can go eat lunch free with nice buffet items which are all high quality Free Coffee/tea soft drinks. came back for afternoon Tea with nice selection of Cakes. On the evening there are a couple of hours when you can have Cocktails Beer and wine we enjoy a few drinks so all in all great value for about 2000 baht extra over a standard room. BTW rooms are all on top floor so less noise generally

I stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. The hotel is very convenient for the Bangkok Hospital where I'd booked a full health screen. It's a large hotel, yet I felt very 'at home' thanks to the charm and helpfulness of the team here. The pool is a good size for laps. Breakfast is very good for a provincial hotel. An international 4 star standard property with a service culture that would put some leading 5 star Bangkok hotels to shame (I can think of one tall riverside property in particular that could take hospitality lessons here).

The Avani Khon Kaen is quite a spectacular looking hotel and the low-level single storey hotel buildings with green tiled roofs, in front of the main hotel building, kind of reminded me of The Grand Palace complex in Bangkok. On arrival, there is a large underground hotel car park for guests and then the check-in was fast, easy and efficient. Our room was on floor 11 and had views over Khon Kaen (including those green tiled roof buildings mentioned above), but having said that, there isn't too much to look at in the vicinity, even from the 11th floor!. The room was pretty standard size and (I personally) thought, looked quite dated – it reminded me of hotels in the 80’s and 90’s (dark brown furniture and beige tiles on the walls and floors), but perfectly adequate though. One thing very noticeable though was the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom where the chrome sanitary fittings were absolutely sparkling clean. Our room rate included (Executive) lounge access and we had the opportunity to enjoy Afternoon Tea in the lounge. My first impressions of the lounge were that it was completely lifeless. It was just a room with some chairs and tables in it, a counter on one side with cakes/snacks available to guests and a small fridge containing guest beverages. There was only one staff member on duty, and she greeted us on entry and informed us that we could have any of the food and drinks on display – except the bottled alcoholic beverages in the refrigerator. And then - she just stood there with no further assistance or advice, despite seeing me struggle to get the coffee machine to work. She appeared to be a little shy?. Because of the lack of any ambience and that we were the only guests in there, we only stayed about 15-20 minutes as we felt a little uncomfortable. A few hours later, after an hour or two at the (great) pool, we were back in the lounge again for snacks and beverages (including alcoholic beverages this time), and the same girl was on duty in the lounge, however she seemed a bit more attentive to us and the other lounge guests, so we stayed a little longer, this time :). After a couple of hours of (complimentary) drinks in the lounge, we decided to move on to the hotel’s English-style pub/bar, called The London Inn. This place had a good atmosphere with good attentive staff and a live band too. Food was available to order in here, and we took advantage of the 300-baht hotel credit which was informed to us on check-in, to order some food to go with our drinks. We were offered a promotion of 2 hrs. unlimited draught beer for 399++ baht, and after comparing the price per bottle – we decided to take up this promotion and it was a good choice as the bar had a really good atmosphere, great staff – and the live music was also quite good. After a comfortable and quiet night’s sleep we went to the restaurant for our (included) breakfast and were actually very impressed by the buffet style breakfast selection and quality of food on offer. There really was something for everyone and very efficient and attentive staff. In summary, The Avani- Khon Kaen is a nice enough hotel which would suit all kinds of guests (business, leisure, tour group). It is fairly standard throughout (rooms, restaurants etc) – although the executive lounge felt a bit lifeless and uninviting. There is a good swimming pool at the hotel and the room rates are quite good for this standard of hotel. We would have no problem staying at the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel if we are in Khon Kaen again.

Our first time staying at Avani KhonKaen. It was on great location, to the food, mall and especially EV Charging hub nearby. Overall is good and we will surely come back again.

First and foremost, the staff is incredible. Always pleasant and it’s always a pleasure to see happy staff that are excellent at their job. Secondly, the Chinese restaurant, on site, is as good as I have ever had in my 79 years and always look forward to my next dinner there.

There isn’t anything that I disliked, but I do wish they had the American breakfast they had before Covid with bacon and very good potatoes.

Δυστυχώς ο ήλιος δεν βλέπει το χώρο της πισίνας αποτρεπτικό για τους λάτρεις της ηλιοθεραπείας. Τα παράθυρα των δωματίων είναι σφραγισμένα και δεν ανοίγουν καθόλου εκτός από ένα μικρούλι που και αυτό άνοιγε με δυσκολία. Οι πεντακάθαρες αλλά βαριές πετσέτες θα μπορούσαν να είναι μικρότερες, γιατί και δυσλειτουργικές είναι αλλά και μη οικολογικές. Μέσα στον ξενοδοχείο δεν υπάρχει μινι μάρκετ για κάποιες ανάγκες πελατών και εξω το πιο κοντινό μαγαζί είναι αρκετά μακρυά.

​I recently stayed at the Avani Khon Kaen and had mixed feelings. On the positive side, the rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a good rest. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a great variety of food options. ​However, there is significant room for improvement regarding the room and "service mind." A few instances stood out: The Bed: I booked a King Bed, but it was actually two Twin beds pushed together with a topper. This created a noticeable gap in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep in the center. It felt like sleeping on two separate beds regardless. ​Luggage Handling: Upon arrival, staff helped load our bags onto a trolley, but then disappeared. We ended up having to carry the bags into the room ourselves. ​Lack of Information: During check-in, we weren't informed about the breakfast location, timing, or even where the elevators were. We had to ask or find everything ourselves. ​Difficult Benefits: The vouchers provided are hard to use. The Welcome Drink at London Inn is limited to one specific menu item and is dine-in only (no takeaway). Additionally, the free Karaoke coupon seems impossible to use; despite trying to book, we were told it was always full. ​With better service coordination, this would be a 5-star stay.
