Loved the golf course, the staff were amazing and the rooms and balconies are large a great size with a beautiful view particularly at sunset
The hotel itself is a little dated. It could do with a refresh and a lick of paint in the rooms.
Comfortable bed, nice balcony/views over golf course. Easy to find/free parking.
Torn curtains inappropriate, considering expensive room rate.
Staff friendly, dinner good, golf great
Room decor and overall hotel decor stuck in the 1980's... No buffet breakfast.. Kept having to ask for food..
The staff are very helpful
The hotel is in need of a refit very dated
Location
Slightly dated, in need of a refresh
Staff, room and service great
South African owner was quite rude and abrupt about what my husband was wearing. Didn't introduce himself so did not know who he was. Shame because everyone else was so nice.
Staff are excellent at this hotel, friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and the aircon units worked well.
Extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working, but reception said they'd fix it ASAP.
Friendly reception staff both pre check in when we had some questions and on the day. Lovely location overlooking the golf course. Our room had a roomy balcony to enjoy the view. A big shout out to the restaurant. The two male front of house staff on duty on evening of 12th August were superb. Very efficient and personable. The food was excellent. My husband had the 12oz rump steak and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The herb crusted salmon dish was superb. One of the best meals we have had at any restaurant in recent years. And good value.
Rooms are a little tired in decor and a fridge would be welcome bit these are minor points.
Lady on reception was very kind and friendly.
The conditioner in the room was too noisy so we had to struggle with heat whole night.
The location was lovely and the balcony view over looking the golf course and ponds was calming ,tranquil and beautiful
The bath was so small/ narrow even for an average size person and the balcony dividers needed to be more private mayb higher or slates filled in .
Spacious rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff
Dated, only had Aircon units
Stunning views over the rural golf course from the balconies, air conditioning ( although very noisy) during a heat wave, welcomes dogs, reasonable value, bar served drinks until late , which attracted guests from nearby accommodation which had less good bar servuce/ hours and opening times. Ability to watch World Cup matches in the bar area. Several areas inside and on terasses to drink.
Limited bins for rubbish and dog waste. No dog poo bags.
Everything we needed for a comfortable stay, surroundings very pleasant, great view from balcony. Air con was very welcome in 30C! Food was great, very nice terrace table allowing dogs to be with us. Staff were very welcoming as was Frankie the resident cat!
Breakfast staff tried hard but only experienced waiter was overwhelmed
food was good value and the view was outstanding. The room was plenty big enough and the balcony was a great place to sit, eat and watch the sun go down. I couldn't be happier with the location
Thin walls, you can easily hear the guests next door, could be an issue if they are noisy. Also though the balcony was a great addition, it did pose a bit of a privacy issue, as if the guest next door went to the end of their balcony, they had a clear unobstructed view in your room. Not a killer issue as I just pulled the curtains along a little. I think perhaps they should put privacy screens at the ends of each balcony, it wouldn't affect the view.
Staff professional and friendly
Tired in places
The location is OK but I was told by the receptionist that breakfast is not included Neither the swimming pool We will need to pay £25 each to use the swimming pool We find that very outrageous
Nothing
Friendly receptionist. Food was good.
No real welcome and what was on offer at breakfast. Menu cards not out out until after our arrival at breakfast.
Helpful staff, large room
Nothing
Beds comfy and room clean
The reception staff were awful - they gave us wrong info and seemed v unhappy…
Location was lovely
Didn't have it, went into town
£50 to use the pool, disgraceful should have been in the price
Colchão confortável. Sossego. Limpeza. Vista relaxante. Acesso a Wi-Fi gratuito
Pleasant and quiet
I think it may be time for some updating
The balcony and views from it were amazing
Staff were rude. Constantly distracted and spoke to each other rather than is as customers “Would you like an ice cream. I’m going to the shop for ciggies” “Oooh yes I’d love an ice cream. What shall I have?” Then a full blown conversation about ice creams was conducted while we were standing waiting to check out. Many more examples like this
The view over the golf course and how friendly the staff were
It is a bit dated in the rooms but very clean
Breakfast was great
Drinks too expensive
🤔 Good views of golf course. Peaceful setting. Staff pleasant and helpful. Hairdryer, tea, coffee, kettle and safe were provided.
The hotel needs to be updated and rooms refurbished. It’s only a 3* and I felt it was overpriced. I spent a lot of money on taxis as nearest station was Headcorn and I was attending an event in Tenterden. Room was clean but I was only provided with a hand towel to dry with! There was an air con unit in the room but it was very noisy.
Huge family room and clean facilities. Nice evening of dinner with sunset and putting green, on the balcony till late. Very friendly staff accommodating of our 2 year old. Perfect stop between the coast and London.
Wasn’t able to enjoy the spa quickly without surcharge, driving range not for juniors, breakfast took a while, and bathtub had a clicking noise at night
Hotel a handing stopover from euro tunnel before journey home. Large rooms overlooking golf course.
You need to update PAT testing in room especially kettle!!
De vieuw is beautiful
The room was clean but the bed was terrible. We booked a room with a bed for 2, there were no other options, but that's ok, the bed for two persons is very very small 140x200 ....not really ok if you are long. It's not so comfortable if you can only lie on your side and you can't turn a round.
Dinner was good and we had a room to ourselves to watch sport on tv
We would have preferred self service breakfast
The view from my room
Nothing
Location, view, friendly staff
Rooms could do with updating, looking a bit tired now.
Big room comfy beds amazing stuff.
Not much
Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet - we were pretty much the only guests until the final night
The pillows were a bit tired. The menu was well priced but for my wife, there was little to choose from after eating there the first night
We had a wonderful View from our bedroom , and watched the stars at night with the door open, we also had an evening meal and watched the sun go down whilst we was eating , wonderful
The Location and u could play golf there
Very friendly staff and perfect location
A bit dated but for the price you can not complain really. I needed to be gone by 8.15am but breakfast didn’t start until 8am during the week,
The room was big and over looked the golf course

A beautiful, quiet location, spacious rooms, comfortable bed and fabulous views from the balcony. Great value.
Disappointed no Gluten Free cereal available. Really good location
View from bedroom
Booked in a hurry, but was warm and comfortable
Staff are lovely and the rooms are always well presented.
Nothing we didn’t like.
Lovely area, able to extend stay, able to cover my calls across the county.
Green grass,trees, air
Shower is so hard to figure out how to use, too many switches
Very clean and comfortable
We ordered some food and was told we wasn’t allowed to eat it in our room and had to eat it in the car outside the staff were very rude
Breakfast
Carpet in eating area would benefit from deep cleaning
Location
Grumpy service. Very tired decor.
Location
Room was very hot, had to open window and decor was a bit tired
London Beach Country Hotel & Golf Club is a proper, well-maintained hotel in a lovely setting. After raising an issue with our first room, the staff were helpful and moved us to a spacious family room which was very clean, comfortable and much bigger than the original one. They also provided a portable heater, which made the room warm and cosy. Overall, once we were in the new room, our stay as a family was pleasant and relaxing.
The first room we were given was not clean and did not feel ready for guests; it even looked like the toilet had been used. It was also a disabled room rather than the family room we had booked, and the heating wasn’t working so the room felt very cold. These issues on the first night did spoil the experience a little, even though things were put right the next day.
Paid for breakfast separately & thought it was a little too expensive but it was very nice the food was good. Christine on reception was so helpful & was very pleasant. The far reaching views from the room were amazing, overlooking the golf course & had a balcony to use in nice weather.
The bathroom was very very clean but felt it could do with updating, bath out & a shower put in, stepping over the bath for a shower was not ideal, although I believe there are rooms with showers only.
Lounge area nice
Very tired, worn carpets, rooms a little stale smelling
Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Access to room was available from midday which was very helpful Lunch was reasonably priced and tasty. Bar and restaurant staff were very helpful.
Excellent staff, beautiful views comfortable room, tasty breakfast
Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming.
We enjoyed a nice relaxing stay at London Beach
Breakfast great
Area were breakfast served dated and would benefit from a deep clean
Breakfast wasn't at the level it was the last time we stayed. The hotel is in need of refreshing
Lovely hidden gem, clean spotless fair sized room. Stunning view, night time the stars twinkled.
Electric kettle lead barely reached the low sockets.
Did not have breakfast at venue
Both my friend and I found the beds too hard . The room was good though . There were 2 members of bar staff who seemed quite miserable, and the young woman seemed interested too. I know it can't be a fantastic job but a smile every now and then wouldn't hurt . There was an issue with the hot chocolate not being hot and the man dealt with it effectively and apologised so that was good . The reception staff were polite, helpful and smiled . Thank you .
The ambience. Excellent room. Comfy bed
The shower had no instructions for use. Very difficult to turn on control. No strong handrail on wall to help steady older people. The lift didn't work....took staff half an hour to adjust
Lovely staff. Good view of the golf course. Clean room.
Main complaint: We were planning to play golf in the morning only to find there was a ladies fun game which meant nobody could use the course until some time in the afternoon despite the fact they didn’t tee-off until 8.30am. This information was not available when booking or on the website so rather spoilt our plans as we had to leave by 11am.
The staff were very helpful x
It was very very dated x
Beautiful view
Nice laid back atmosphere, helpful staff, good facilities. Excellent breakfast.
It was hot in the room and although there was an air con unit it was very noisy and not that effective. The balconies are lovely, but with no window you can only open the balcony door for air and that’s not great security-wise at night.
