Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Character hotel with a suberb location right next to a flowing river which was lovely. Short bus ride into the main town with stops within 1 or 2 min walk, so convenient. Hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't help enough with planning and gave us tips to go to Silsersee lake and Sils Maria and how to get there. Breakfast was decent too and rooms very spacious.
There were strangely no plug points to charge mobiles by the beds or tables, but found one behind the TV which was akward. Also lack of bed side cabinets to keep things eg glasses, books, however, no a huge problem.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Das Personal war sehr Aufmerksam und Freundlich. :-) Das Frühstück war genau nach unserem Geschmack. Überladene Frühstückstische wo dann die hälfte entsorgt wird, brauchen wir nicht.
Dass die Zeit so schnell verging und wir wieder abreisen mussten.

le pregunté a la chica en la recepcion si habian negocios de ropa souvenir en la estacion de trenes o cerca del hotel y me contesto muy seca que no sabia y que ya me lo habia dicho ... Pienso que al estar trabajando en la recepcion de un hotel deberia saber lo minimo en que contestar

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026I and my daughter were travelling by train to visit Saint Moritz, especially to enjoy the mountains in the Summer. The hotel is pricey, but conveniently located at the St. Moritz Bad, just a 3 min walk from the cable car station. The ski lifts go up as far as the Corviglia Piz-Nair for stunning views and trails. A very clean room with a pleasant view of the river side and comfy beds. Worth the distance from the city center and the train station. It was quiet at night, in spite of being across from a busy road.
It was hard to move around in the very small bathroom with a large bathtub. The breakfast is not adequate for vegans, but the staff made efforts to accomodate fruit options and dairy/egg-free bread. They seem to ignore information on soy-free /plant-based cuisine, although Switzerland stands at the forefront of the global pea protein industry.

Wij hebben 2 nachten geboekt maar 2 verschillende kamers, 1e was budget kamer op 1ste verdieping, precies boven de bakkerij dus vanaf 3 uur s'nacht kon je niet slapen heel erg vervelend, je betaald best veel voor deze kamer en kan je niet uitrusten. Gelukkig de 2e nacht was op 3e verdieping en dat was al goed comfortable en ruime kamer met mooie uitzicht op de kabelbaan

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Great hotel, good location, excellent staff, excellent breakfast, clean, well maintained, easy public transportation to the city, train station and to several teleferic. I definitely would stay there again.
We were in room 243, everything was excellent, a few things to improve. Bathtub looks brand new, however it is very slippery, a protection to avoid accident must be evaluated and applied. Refrigerator is under the table with a very difficult access, specially for old people, relocate it to a better place will be a big plus, finally, there are no many out let in the room and the only one available is inside of the closet with a very difficult access, I suggest to install an electrical extension to make it easy to use. I hope the management can approve these upgrades.

Bar a možnost posezení jen do 22,00, restaurace ještě méně, deklarované welness je mimo hotel a za úplatu. Dvoulůžkový pokoj má malou dvoupostel.

Badezimmer der Budgetzimmer ist sehr eng. Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.
